Purchased my tree this past December Wanted one for a long time thought they were always beautiful. The tree u see on TV is NOT what u get!!!! Tried resolving a needle broken issue right out of the box with customer service. With No avail told them my issue they said tht normal which is false and pretty much told me to have a nice day. Dnt see how they have a gwd rating with BBB. Would not recommend to my worst enemy. If I could give them a BIG FAT "0" I would! But have to give a 1 for the review if y'all wnt to stop theses rip off companies. Report them to BBB Also ours was supposed to be the fullest tree. And has alot of space in between branches

We love our new tree but we’ve had to return 2 bad switches for the lights. For the price of the tree the company needs to invest in another quality switch. It’s ridiculous that just by luck we got a customer service rep the 2nd time that told us the reason for the flickering lights could possibly be the foot switch. Sure enough that was the issue. It’s a shame we had to go for days without our lights not knowing this.

Purchased expensive 6' flip tree thinking it would last us many years to come. WRONG! As soon as the warranty ran out, a string of lights died. I supplemented with additional strings and every year a new line dies. Our tree has been up less than 2 weeks and TWO additional lines have died. Totally ridiculous! We are NOT talking about a burned out bulb but a complete string of lights! Considering our tree is rarely up more than 3 weeks at the most, this purchase was definitely not worth the cost and FRUSTRATION. This tree is "going out the door"...not dealing with this frustration another year!

I bought the narrow blue spruce tree in November 2019. It’s been a beautiful tree for my small home, however this year the top section didn’t light I called customer service and because it’s out of the three year warranty and they discontinued this tree I can’t get another section . They sent me fuses but that didn’t give me positive results. It’s advertised that balsam hill trees usually are good for 8-10 years. Very disappointing that there is no remedy for me I will not buy another tree from balsam hill

We bought a balsam Hill 9' Silverado Slim filp tree 3 years ago. First year was relatively trouble free but did have a section go out. We replaced a "grey" light which apparently governs that section and it worked again. The next year several sections began to go out and in some cases the replacements didnt fix the problem. Now in year 3 of having our tree, here is what our PRE LIT tree looks like and we cant fix it. I highly suggest you avoiding this flip tree from Balasm Hill

Outdoor Christmas trees went out after 2 separate purchases.They offered me 10% on next purchase.What a joke.Out door Cluster Led.were the trees.

I bought a tabletop lighted christmas tree (last year after Christmas). This year is the first time I used it. Within two weeks the timer is off and the tree turns on and off at odd times, the only way I can turn off the tree is by removing the batteries. I called Balsam Hill and the response I received is "sorry the tree is not under warranty" REALLY? The reason I bought from Balsam Hill and paid a bit more was because I thought their quality of product would be better, I guess not....very disappointed, I expected the tree to last and work for more than one year.

Bought one of these trees thinking it would last us years. Starting the second year, it wobbles. Like the connection is loose and leaning. While Balsam Hill has a warranty and shipped us new pieces it's still an issue. Nothing is working and it continues to lean. At this point I wish we had just been able to get a refund because now I just have a leaning tree that I don't want to toss because of how much it cost.

This company may have the worst customer service departments I have experienced. I purchased my Balsam Hill tree in 2017 for around $800.00. I thought it was a lifetime purchase and didn't expect strings of lights to be going out so soon. I requested a wiring diagram so I could understand what the components are and they don't have such a thing!!?? They could not tell me what kind of string of lights I could replace with (3 of them) so I purchased these bulbs. They do not fit--- so the only way to use them is to remove the bulb from the housing and put it in the old housing--- tedious!! I have the feeling they frequently change the vendor of bulbs and light strings and they have no idea what your particular tree has. I would not purchase a Balsam Hill Tree again!!

Bought a Fraser Fir This was not a cheap tree the artificial branches and trunk have silver in them had the 1 st tree a year did not show that until it came out this year. Contacted Balsam Hill warranty deptment said they had had problems with that Tree They sent me another tree And the replacement is the same way. It is only with the Fraser Fir the second person I talked to new this was happening several complaints They said would not replace my 2 nd tree they sent They replaced the 1st one no questions asked I would not by from them again there a cheaper trees out there that are cheaper also the warranty manager as very rude. I could take a tree back to Costco even after a year they would replace Don’t by from Balsam Hill if I wanted tinsel in my branches I would by it

So we decided to buy a fake tree from Balsam Hill, on Black Friday taking advantage of their sale and a additional 50 dollars off’ we went with Yukon spruce 6 ftz the picture of the tree side by side to the online picture and the one at our house that we received’ a Charlie Brown tree would of been better’ poor quality workmanship!

Disappointed doesn't even cut it. After shopping for a Christmas tree in-person we couldn't find anything suitable and needed to order online. We came across a beautiful tree on Balsam Hill, placed an order on the 08/12 and ensured delivery would be in time for this weekend (13/12) what with it being close to Christmas and our niece and nephew coming to help up decorate. At 2am this morning we had an email from Balsam Hill saying "We're sorry this order didn't work out as you hoped" as if we had cancelled the order followed by another telling us we would be refunded because it wasn't in stock. They waited 5 working days to tell us our order wasn't available, have offered nothing in the way of apology, and we have to wait for 3-5 working days to receive a refund for a tree worth £300. In the meantime we have no time to arrange another order for this weekend and we can't afford to buy another one in any case because we'll have to wait for the refund. Absolutely appalling customer service and it is safe to say we will not be using this company again the future.

After reading the reviews from unhappy customers...I sure wish I had done my research! We've had our tree for a few years! I was sent a replacement TOP Section the year after my purchase because that section was not as bright as the bottom section! There were not as many lights on the top section as the bottom section! Making the tree beautiful on the bottom and sparse on the top (most important section)! The replacement was exactly the same as the original! This year the lights are very dim and flickering! Customer service today told me that it's normal TO NOT have as many lights on the top of the tree! So ridiculous! So I'm stuck with an expensive tree that is beautiful on the bottom and dimly lit on the top! This is my last purchase from Balsam Hill!!! My advice don't purchase from them!!

THE WORST CHRISTMAS TREE!! Only lasted one Christmas and already having electrical issues with the tree lights dimming, brightening and flickering (which is a known DEFECT with this tree). When I asked for a refund, because a replacement tree was not an option, they were unwilling to accommodate me Waste of money, my time , and our Holidays

Extremely disappointed in our Frasier. The branches are weak and do not support ornaments well. Several of the branches have loose connections to the trunk causing them to sag. We were told there are replacement grommets for these. Instructions indicated that we could "bend the branches to get the desired look". For the price we paid for this tree it seems quite unreasonable to have to do so much work

Do not buy from here. I’ve been fighting getting a refund for a month that they claim to have sent me. At this point I have contacted my attorney because I just don’t know what else to do. My bank has told me the refund never came. They claim it was refunded weeks ago. DO NOT BUY FROM BALSAM HILL!!!!!

Not good I ordered a flip tree the pedal was broken when it came. I was all excited about having a tree to decorate after talking to customer service I have to find a fed x contact them to ship the broken tree back and than they will send a new one mind you this tree is over 100 pounds when I asked for a discount on the tree for the inconvenience I was told that is not how that works when I asked to speak to a manager I was told that would be a bigger inconvenice and it would be hours waiting. Do yourself a favor DO NOT ORDER a BALSAM hill on line go into a store so the return if it is broken can be easily made in the store

Terrible customer service and after market support. Purchased the tree 6 years ago and called to order a new remote receiver to change light selection their answer was if it’s out of warranty they could not help!! Also lights are failing and can’t even buy new light strings NEVER AGAIN!!!!

You are better off buying a tree from TEMU or walmart!!! I have spent hours of fluffing the tree, but it still looks like a cheap tree!! I am soooooo disappointed!!

I ordered a tree with two day expedited shipping and called to check on delivery tomorrow and was told the tree is unavailable and is not being shipped. I paid for this tree and you have processed my payment without notifying me that it was never available at purchase.
