Order 3 times just to make sure it was not just bad luck. The first time it was for my parents and the driver was so rude telling me he had other things to do and he had to leave- with their food. I told him that my parents were outside, he found the house. Then, the second time our food never came to the house. The time changed 3 times, so we canceled our order. Yesterday, I order a cake for my mother-in-law’s birthday, the order never made it to my work (8 mins away from the store) so I had to pick it up and argue with them to at least refund me my tip money since o was the one that had to take care of it all. I’m done with them, they don’t even deserve a one star.

Customer service sucks! Orders always late with out competition. Drivers not following simple delivery instructions or not delivering it at all. Not using the bags to keep food warm or hot or spilled all over in the bag.

As a restaurant owner on this platform I would not recommend to any up and coming restaurant owners the fees are too high and only way you can get orders is by running ads but then your also charged to do that I’m very disappointed in Grubhub especially when they reached out to me for my business

Needless to say I will never use this service again. I placed an order at 5:50 pm, my order arrived at 6:19 pm. Apon getting it out I noticed it was all wrong. I look at the receipt and the order that was brought to me was from 2:50 pm 🤮. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Orders are 2+ hours and inedible yet Grub Hub refuses to refund. Never again will I order from them.

Where to start! When placing order it said time for delivery 15-30 mins. Then you place the order and give you a different time completely! And continues to change the longer the order takes. Then when you chat with support they said orders on time. When u get food it’s cold as bones due to over being made when ordered not picked up! And support won’t do much but give you 5 bucks! And a sorry! If u pay for the free delivery on this app im sorry! Horrible horrible! This service should be shut down!!! I’d give a zero if I could!

Don't ever work for this company all it takes is one restaurant where you pick up orders that has bad attitude to call GrubHub and say something bad about you and GrubHub will destroy your life. You will never be able to get another job for the rest of your life.

The fact that I spent my last couple dollars for food and then take an hour don't show up and then cancel and then take my money instantly but not give it back instantly and now I spend my night with no food to eat because you guys decided that you can only credit me money through you to ensure the sell so you can credit me money through you guys but you can't give me my physical debit money back and then when I click the option it says 3 to 5 days which is just terrible because I'm not collecting interest on this three to five days from you guys holding my money and now when I decide to just credit me you tell me you can't credit me because it's processing well just don't understand that business model. You can take my money instantly but you can't return it instantly but I own a business and it's weird because I can return and take money instantly but a multi-franchise can't do that let alone it's on their end of falt it's not me canceling or anything like that it's them promising a service that they couldn't provide to just hold on to my money and then give it back to me in a few days why their money that I gave him collect interest and then they decide to return it

They have cancelled multiple orders over the past three weeks due to the fact they hire incompetent drivers that don’t have dependable transportation. Recently the driver said that Grubhub is unorganized and pull orders off them but can’t locate a new driver so they start cancelling orders. It took 2 1/2 hours to get my food and they wanted me to take the food that the restaurant said had been sitting there all that time. This time driver got a flat tire asked if I could come meet her then wouldn’t answer text received call from driver support saying they cancelled it. I asked her to call the driver and see where she was because I had agreed to meet her but then she wouldn’t tell me where she was. The driver support rep said she couldn’t call the driver. I asked for a manger she said she couldn’t give me a manager. I asked her what does she do? She said she calls to cancel-that was literally all she could do. The most unorganized and pathetic company I’ve dealt with. I don’t normally leave reviews but this is just over and over poor service.

NEVER AGAIN. PLACED ORDER ON 10/17/24, APP SHOWED DELIVERY WITH ALL INFO. RESTAURANT NEVER RECEIVED ORDER. WON'T REFUND MY $55.00 TO MY CC. ISSUED A PROMO $10.00 CREDIT FOR MY INCONVENIENCE. PLACED ANOTHER ORDER ON 11/13/24 IN AN EFFORT TO USE MY $65.00 CREDIT ONLY TO TOLD I CAN'T USE 2 CREDITS AT SAME TIME. WORST DELIVERY SERVICE IN THE USA. THEY SHOULD SHUT DOWN. ANYONE THAT USES THEM IS ONLY LOOKING FOR A HEADACHE. I HAVEN'T GOT TO THE FOOD SERVICE REVIEW YET. I DON'T BLAME THE RESTAURANT AS I HAVE ORDERED FROM THEM BEFORE.

The order arrived after 1 1/2 hr and derailed my plans for the evening. The customer rep gave me all the wrong answers to my questions until finally admitting that they need to send a driver to pick up my order.

Complete trash. Only delivered 1 out if 4 of our items during a very difficult time when picking up food was challenging due to personal matters. So our “refund” ended up costing 23$ fur 6 bagels because they wouldn’t readjust the fees or tip I added for what was suppose to be a 50$ meal.

Hire drivers that speak English!! This is America, where business is conducted in English. If a driver can’t follow specific directions because he/she doesn’t understand the language, they shouldn’t be making deliveries!! I can’t tell you how many times a driver has rang the doorbell and/or knocked…even though I request contact-free delivery and for them to not knock on the door. It shouldn’t be in two languages but it is - and they still ignore it. This is beyond frustrating! This is a service I pay for, and I always tip 20%, however I shouldn’t have to chase the driver or meet them outside. Also, sometimes it says a woman is delivering my food but a man shows up. So obviously the drivers share accounts which has to be illegal. When you complain, you get another person outside of the country who also barely speaks English. Give these jobs to Americans!!!!!

I usually use GrubHub since my college gives me a free membership with them, but I recently had an order that was delivered to another building two blocks away and (obviously) issued a complaint. I was glad to have found my lost breakfast on my way to class, and I know campus addresses can be confusing for people sometimes, even if it’s just a regular street address close to the restaurant I ordered from. What bothered me, however, was when I went to reorder my meal because I still did not feel like walking thirty minutes for breakfast, the prices on my Grubhub had increased. Same restaurant, same menu, except everything was at least .50 more expensive than it was when I ordered an hour before. I don’t want to say I was penalized for politely complaining, but I honestly think I was. Complaining more won’t really do anything, but it does make me feel better, so here I am.

I have an issue every single time I order thru grubhub. it's beyond frustrating. do you, or are you capable of decent service ever? or should I just expect to not receive items and have to complain every time?

Even though grubhub has made many deliveries in the past few years, today they used an address I haven't had for 8 years and decided to place my order at a Burger Habit based on that - 8+ miles away instead of the location less than 1 mile from my house. I updated my info then went to the live chat who asked what my current address and phone number was-I told her and she said that was the address they have. Well yeah cuz I just changed it otherwise why would they have chosen a restaurant location so far away? She said that location was the one available to take the order. Really???? You have to lie about that? What if the available restaurant was in Colorado??? I hate liars and that's just one more reason I can't stand grubhub-as if I didn't have enough reasons already! Needless to say the burger was cold and tasted like ****.

Having a free year of GRUBHUB doesn't make up for the incompetency of how that business is run. The 'GUARANTEE' is a total joke. Do they really think $5 off your next order makes up for your order being an hour and a half late? Besides 95% of the time the credit ISN'T applied to your next order, although it magically disappeares.

After an hour and 10 minutes, and 2 assigned drivers, they never made it. The owner of the restaurant got into his car and delivered it himself. Of course, at that point, it was cold. I have never had an issue with DoorDash. Absolute garbage.
