This has been the worst service I have ever used. Countless times I have ordered food and my delivery is left at the wrong apartment. If the driver takes a picture of the ‘successful’ delivery, it’s always a different apartment with a similar number. The biggest difference is my apartment and the one it’s delivered to is mine starts with a W. The other an E. However this has led to a fun game for myself and the children to go on a scavenger hunt using only the picture to try to find our food. If it’s still there. I changed delivery instructions from drop off at my door to hand it to me, thinking it would help everyone involved. But that proved unsuccessful again this morning when a coffee order was claimed to have been delivered. I opened my door to find no coffee. It was not handed to me and there was no picture to scour the apartment building to find it. After reaching out to the driver to ask where he left it he said ‘I left it at the door with your number.’ So I reached out yet again to DoorDash support letting them know I again had not receive my order. Guess what they said? This delivery is not available for a refund! So just to be clear, I was never handed my coffee, no picture given of where to find it, no pin provided to the driver to confirm delivery, driver said I left it at the apartment number listed and DoorDash support says ‘nope. Not refunding you $17 coffee order. I have given specifics on where and how to enter the building, including the building code, where the elevator is and turn by turn instructions. I have been willing to go downstairs and outside to meet drivers in the ally behind the building to get my order, I have been willing to walk around to another building to find the similar apartment number to get my order, if it’s still there but doordash can’t refund something I never got and have no way of finding?! I’m willing to pay for the convenience fee/service fee of $8 on every order placed. I always tip the driver. I value the convenience of having my food delivered. I’ve ordered hundreds of dollars of food in the past 6 months. I have paid their ‘service fee’ and tips for an estimated total of $400 to play hide and seek with my food. Last month I said enough and contacted support about not receiving my orders. They ‘generously gave me a credit of $60 in credit for this mild inconvenience but today was the last straw. I just wanted a coffee. A $7 coffee and was willing to pay $17 for tip and service fee. With the unwillingness from DoorDash to refund my money, that is the last of my money they will ever get. I deleted the app and will never use this service again. Between the cost for the order, DoorDash’s fees and the tip to still not receive my order and no refund, I’m done. Maybe if you don’t live in an apartment building you will have better results.

First time using a delivery service for food. Placed order with restaurant…was updated as the process was taking place. Driver was on time; however he brought us half the meal we ordered. I called restaurant (which we order from a lot and go pick up) and they still were holding the other half. Driver refused to return and pick up. We tipped this driver 25%. So we had to still get out and pick up our food. Very disappointed. And customer service was no help at all. Disappointing for sure!

Went on a business meeting out of town and I had to order from a delivery service to deliver my food to my room due to a zoom call that I was on. So I picked Grubhub. I’m not a person that uses delivery services, so I don’t know much about their service or how trustworthy they really are. So I ordered from Subway, sandwich, chips, and a drink. The food was delayed 45 minutes later than the delivery time, and also the food didn’t make it to my room. I received an email on my phone with a picture. It was left on the sidewalk in front of my hotel. I went out to look for it and couldn’t find it anywhere. Called Grubhub, and I was told that I waited too long to call for refund, which was the next day. $42.29

I’m reaching out to share a disappointing experience I had recently. My daughter kindly placed a GrubHub order from your location on my behalf, as I was unable to leave the house due to waiting on time-sensitive packages that required signature confirmation. Unfortunately, the order was never delivered to me. After receiving my packages, I visited the store in person to see if there was any way to resolve the issue. I understand that since the order was placed through GrubHub, Tropical Smoothie may have limited ability to assist with refunds. However, I was disappointed with how I was treated during my visit. I felt ignored and that my concerns were dismissed, which was particularly disheartening given that I hadn’t eaten all day and was already feeling stressed. I fully understand that mistakes can happen, but the lack of empathy from the staff and the unwillingness to even acknowledge the situation added to my frustration. It’s concerning to me that this kind of experience may reflect poorly on Tropical Smoothie, even if the delivery issue was out of your control. I hope that in the future, better support and care can be extended to customers when issues like this arise. Thank you for your time and consideration. PS. GrubHub refused to give a refund to my daughter.

grubHub I want to love your service but TWO HOURS to get my lunch, gd you need to work this system out. Your app is great, but there's some disconnect between the driver and the food preparer. Maybe let me know that this order is going to take forever BEFORE i place it. Seems like some places I order from are absolutely fine and others are a huge disappointment. ugh

This is second time i ordered from Grub Hub and have been very disappointed. First time a pizza was delivered and left on the ground. Never knocked, texted 3minutes after delivery. Ants in box. Ordered ice cream and it was left outside without knocking. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM GRUBHUB AGAIN!

The worst app that I know off to order food. Placed my order since 8pm and at 10:23pm I had to call them because the app said they were going to deliver and just kept pushing my delivery time. Once I call I found out the place was already close. When I call to get my refund told me to cancel and reorder from another restaurant guess what couldnt even do that bc they wasnt even doing delivery due to high demand.

We ordered food from the Mexarican food truck in Waterbury, and the grub hub driver send a picture through his car window and said are order is delivered, but they never delivered it so he basically stole our food and money never order food from here again

Horrible customer service. We ordered from STK Scottsdale on Christmas, received an inedible meal, and were promised a refund by the restaurant. When they failed to process it, they told us to go through DoorDash—only for DoorDash to refuse, claiming it was ‘too late’ to request a refund. So, because we trusted the restaurant to do the right thing, we’re now out a ridiculous amount of money for food we couldn’t eat. DoorDash does not protect its customers and will hide behind policy rather than actually making things right. Beware of their lack of accountability—you’re better off ordering directly from restaurants that actually care about their customers.

GrubHub has gone down hill on the drivers and their appearances. This is the 2nd time I've ordered from Hong Kong restaurant menu in 2 months off of GrubHub. Both times my food was not even desirable or eatable. What a mess and the meat is like chewing on jerky and no egg drop soup. Love the cheese rolls but for 30 bucks in charges don't think so GrubHub and H.Kong rest.

Out of town on business, no car of my own. Most places are closed, so I tried to get food delivered to the hotel. Twice, from two completely different restaurants, GrubHub let me order food, took the money, and then cancelled it because the restaurant closed before they could finish making the food. In one instance, the restaurant was supposedly open for another 2 hours AFTER my order was placed. It was still cancelled because they were actually closed. I don't care if it's on the restaurant or GrubHub, there simply has to be a better way for them to communicate. At least they gave me my money back, but after almost an hour and a half of waiting, I'm probably not eating tonight.

Tried to cancel order immediately within 5 seconds. Grub hub refused and told me it was already ready in 5 seconds. Then notifications about being delayed and no drivers. It was seafood and restaurant prepared it without confirming a driver. Seafood left out. Late delivery. Customer service does nothing

I've had so many orders stolen/misplaced and put in orders only and be told I won't receive it for 2 to 3 hours and won't let me cancel the order. Horrible service. I quit Uber eats for this same exact reason so see ya never GRUBHUB!!!!!

I ordered at 4am a breakfast from Dunkin to be delivered by 8. Grubhub sent confirmation for 8am, then a delay note for 8:23, then 8:45 then final arrival at 9:35 ! This is my last time .

The delivery person had an argument with the restaurant leaving me with half a delivery… telling me I would receive a refund within days, yet charged me with an amount as if I received the whole order. I called approximately 5 times and they said it was adjusted on my bank however it wasn’t! I will no longer be using this after many years of being a customer! 🤬

Do not use grubhub. They would not refund me when I was mistakenly sent a gluten free pizza. Forty bucks down the drain. They said I had asked for two many refunds in the past. Two in six years, one for incredibly oily and inedible Chinese food, and one for another accidental gluten free pizza. Over six years of being a regular frequent customer. Even if you are very nice they talk over you. And do not refund. One bite I had to spit out, and pizza in the trash. The restaurant was very nice but had to send me to grubhub bc I ordered through them.

I need a refund! You did not follow my delivery request. Left my food in a public pass through and not only was that not hygienic, my food was stolen. I specifically asked to get a call to meet the driver outside. No one called or texted. They took a lousy picture of my food sitting on the way. I don't even know which door they left it at... since all through ways into the building look kinda the same. So irresponsible, I am still hungry.
