After looking for a price for my phone I was offered £135 online. I was asked 2 questions. Is the phone unlocked and does the phone work. I answered yes to both. At no point was I asked about the condition of my phone. I sent it off via the pre paid packaging that was sent to me and within 48 hours i received an email saying it had arrived. After that it all went down. I then 1 day later received an email stating “due to the condition of my phone we can offer you £76” this phone was in very good condition, it had been kept in a case for 2 years. They went on about the battery condition also, again this phone had been used however at no point was I asked about how the battery life was. I challenged this via email and low and behold they came back with another figure of £120. No answers however as to why they had not asked the questions in the first place. After reading these reviews I decided to cut my losses as I would only loose £15 and ask for the money to which now had been paid. I feel this company is very miss leading. I guess my moral of the story is don’t go for the best price without checking the reputation first. Previously I’ve always used mazooma and never had any issues. I will go back to them next time because I have ended up with the same price as they would if offered me anyway. My advice is stay clear of this company as not worth the hassle for an extra few pounds.

Well I have just looked up the price of my phone and was quoted £76. However after reading these reviews I won't be touching these guys with a barge pole. So glad I checked them out before sending off phone. Thankyou for the advice.

Promised a payment on the Friday, not received, promised payment again on the Monday and again not received, not responding to my e-mails, when I call they keep saying I will receive my payment later that day, and then no payment made. shocking for a Business to operate like this.

I sent a phone which was in immaculate condition (had glass screen protector and case for duration of use). I sent it to these guys and they first said that they would off £72 (down from the £176 quoted on the original order) claiming it was scratched and the screen had "excessive burnin" (the screen was perfectly fine and wasnt the I checked the serial number and this phone never had any burn in issues . i then requested it to be sent back, but then after reading the reviews on this site i realised i realised that they will probably throw the phone about in a desparate attempt to show that the phone was damaged. I ended up negotiating to a price of £150 and left it at that. Thes guys are SCAMMERS. DO NO TRUST!

Sent off my iPad pro in good condition only ever had it in case, offered me £280 online and then when it had been checked they came up with all these reasons why they could only give me £62 I asked for evidence of these apparent things that needed replacing, never got them surprisingly, I declined this ridiculous amount and then they said they had someone else look at it and they could give me £120 I said no again, then they apparently had a manager look at it and the final offer they could give was £140, on the website it says they don't do up to offers like other companies and that as long as it's as described they give the money within 24hrs, it was as described because I never said it was new and it wasn't broken so it was working so the website is a complete lie a scam and false advertising not sure how they get away with it but they are clearly going against consumer rights, extremely misleading people, I did look at the review's but I thought I'd try it because you can't always believe reviews but shouldn't have bothered they've had my iPad for over a week because it's been slow back and forth with emails I reply straight away they take a few days conveniently, so don't be scammed by them they rely on people's stupidity!

BEWARE - told iPhone has 'chips on screen' yet I had the screen replaced by another company only TWO WEEKS AGO!!!!!! The screen still has a protector on from then! Very suspicious!!! Quote revised from £152 to £100 because marks on back, the battery has 500 cycles?? TRY SOMEWHERE MORE REPUTABLE!

Sold an iPad to them. Received an email confirming condition and quote...same as original offer. Received an email at 18.09 on Friday confirming payment would be made into my bank account within 24 hours. More than that later still no credit to my account, and after checking with my bank they confirmed no pending credit either. Attempted to discuss this with their online chat - Kirsten. Who advised she could not help as she did not have access to the sales accounts. The only way this could be dealt with is by sending an email which wouldn’t be read until Monday. She informed me not to worry about the nearly £300 owed as the company “was 100% legit and really good”! That answer says it all really. Wish I’d read these reviews before sending my device to them.

Complete scam. Send you out a label which is only covered for £100, not a tracked service. And I have to wait 28 days to see of royal mail will pay even though handtec is liable. Spoke to a supervisor who just laughed at me. Best go to a reputable company

Purchased iPhone 6plus in December 2018. Camera developed fault in may 2019. Despite many emails no answer received from support group despite so called 12 month guarantee. Nobody should purchase a phone with a none existent guarantee.

Handset posted to them excellent condition tried to halve offer price saying scratched then upped twice to near offer price when refused and asked for phone back. Phone arrived with fresh damage on back where they have deliberately thrown it across concrete floor more than once . Dishonest avoid them like the plague.

Very poor experience no communication with customer when we're told there would be . Accusing me of severely dropping my phone when doing no marks on my phone accusing me of putting my phone out shape when my phone is still it's shape not dealing with original fault about the keyboard just passing on liability to me and accusing me of breaking it when there have been a fault with the phone from two weeks having it but then taking no responsible for it. I ask management to contact me back but they refusing to I've been accused by customer service for chucking mobile phone which led to the damage which I found amusing like I could not believe what I was hearing from customer service

No no customer service I got told they would contact me but they never did they just sent the phone back to me without informing me of anything to regarding my about my phone I then emailed him back asking what was the fault and they're just replied saying it has not been repaired due to me severely dropping my phone and causing cracks on my phone which already States on their technical report that's glass was already broken on the glass but no response back from the complaint to this and I'm just been accused of sending my phone back in a damaged state and being severely damaged and phone being out of shape but phone is in excellent condition so something does not had up her

Outrageous experience. Bought a phone described as excellent. Battery needed replacing after one month. So called up and thought I had been told I would be sent an envelope to send the phone back. I may have misheard or misunderstood...they say they said they would send an envelope label which may have gone to spam or junk. No envelope arrived so I decide to to pay Apple £45 for a new battery. Apple opened it up and said that they could only repair it for £300+ because the tabs had been removed. SO I followed up with Handtec who told me that the warranty was void because Apple had opened the phone. End result is that if the battery had failed further down the line Fter 1 year the warranty would not have applied AND Apple would only do a major job for over £300. SO the phone will be heading for the bin unless I have the energy to bring a claim in the small claims court...probably what I'll do.

AVOID THESE CON ARTISTS I think they have a standard email that is sent to all customers. I was offered £210 for my Samsung S8+. Now they sent me the following email (it may sound familiar lol) "Dear Customer  Thank you for sending your device. Unfortunately, we have found the condition selected does not match the actual condition of the device we have received.  Please see our report from our engineers.  Engineer Report Notes:  battery cycle 750, battery health 76%, scratches on the front screen, LCD screen burn, scratches around the housing. This does affect the condition of the device and the value of recycle. With careful consideration, we have revised the original quote to £100.00 Please advise in the next 5 working days. If we do not hear from you, we will take this as your acceptance and will credit the amount quoted to your nominated account. For more info please refer to our terms and conditions. Kind regards  Sellphone24 Engineer" I rejected their offer, was put on hold for 2mins then was offered £175. WOW an increase of £75... why? Was the engineers report wrong or is it because you're trying to con people?! I've asked for my phone back.

Seems to be a regular complaint. Received half what I was advised. Said there were scratches plus a battery that was 75% efficient. How am I meant to be in control of battery efficiency something which is part of natural wear and tear and completely out of the owners control but can reduce the quote by half . What a bloody joke.
