First time ordering and the order came damaged and unusable, I sent it back for a refund to receive an email a couple of days later to inform me that the refund has been credited to my account. I never used a voucher nor credit, I used my bank card, therefore payment should of been refunded to my original payment method. When I called to enquire about this and told them I do not accept credit and wanted it back on my card I was met with an extremely rude and unprofessional “customer service advisor” Julie, who refused to send me an email confirming that the refund will now be sent to my card, when I asked to speak to a manger i was abruptly put on hold for ages then I denied my request, apparently none were available, but when I told her I was not happy to leave the call and would not await a call back that would never happen, a manger suddenly became available, again I was abruptly put on hold for a few minutes without warning even though I told her after the first time her telephone manner was unprofessional and I should be informed that I am being put on hold. I was given conflicting advice from the line manager Luca compared to Julie which I pointed out, I was told an email would be sent from the refunds department in which I gave them 24 hours to do so. The audacity of this company to refund people with credit instead of to their original payment method. My first order arrived damaged, even if I was contemplating given it then another chance I certainly wouldn’t now I know they refund like this and have such poor customer service, their refund method may even be illegal which I will be asking trading standards and open a complaint if I haven’t received confirmation of the correct refund procedure by 9.34 tomorrow morning.

ordered from the company 9 days ago and still awaiting dispatch. I think I will cancel this and get my cc to get my money back. Seems to me that they are either out of business or a scamming website.

I placed an order of Xmas wrap, tags, cards and 2 gifts. All in stock in the website at the time, all saying 3 to 7 day delivery. It had been awaiting dispatch 8 days at present. Called and they hung up on me, emailed roughly 6 times, previous email they ignored completely, have now sent another to cancel the order and close my account. Twitter is full of unhappy customers, I messaged on there, I have so far been told sorry there is a small delay- can't say how long, Awaiting stock as some items not in stock, wait a while as its 10 day delivery (email and site stated 3 to 7) back to awaiting stock. I asked which items were out of stock, just got the generic sorry some out of stock message. I am so unhappy and stressed, panicking about time scales, as I'll have to purchase elsewhere, given them 24 hrs to respond and confirm cancellation as I have had enough. AVOID!!!

Ordered a dolls house for my 4 year old daughter for Christmas on the 9th of October was told today after many phone call to customer service that this will not be in stock till 20th December! I would avoid this company at all cost. Worst customer service I’ve ever used..

Dolls house paid 28 september then nothing i rang in november to be told item would arrive by the 5th december the waited in all day but nothing then 6th december email saying item out off stock so i rang to be told i would have to wait 14 days for refund so im now on phone to necco told him i want to speek to superviser stay away avoid little girl will be so upset AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID

Do not shop with them! Got a horrible feeling that I've been stitched up. Ordered and paid for 10 days ago, supposed to have been dispatched but Hermes tracking says they are still waiting to receive it. Call centre is useless, their use of English is abysmal and they keep fobbing me off with excuses. Time to get me money back methinks!

Wish I could give a zero! Ordered a dolls house for my daughter for Christmas. Should of been delivered in November. Rang up to be told that it’d be in stock and delivered on the 5th December. To then ring up again today to be told it’ll be in stock on the 20th December and delivered 5 days later… what, on Christmas Day?! Highly doubtful. Seen lots of people they’ve ordered the same product back in September and still haven’t received them! Constantly having to chase this company they don’t even have the decency to send an email letting you know of any delays! Requested to cancel my order today to be told it needs to go through to the “relevant department” and this will take 2 days…. Then they make a decision on wether I can cancel?! What!! What happened to consumer rights?? Honestly baffled. Now can’t find a suitable replacement for my daughter that will be here before Christmas and it’s the only thing on her Christmas list! 😫

Dreadful company. Promised to deliver in 10 days a young child’s wooden play kitchen which was originally a birthday present. Months later after failing to meet 2 more promised deadlines when it was to become a Christmas present I rang them and asked them to make sure they were not going to miss the Christmas present deadline and was assured it would be shipped on the 6th December. They then emailed me on the 6th to say they were cancelling my order and would return my money in 14 days ! 14 days !!! They managed to take my money immediately. We now have no time to substitute this present with anything worthwhile. They are a disgrace and I strongly suggest that you go elsewhere!!

Absolutely terrible.. took a long time creating an order of personalised items and setting up a credit account online. Waiting 48 hours for an order confirmation and after not receiving this made contact to find out my account setup had been declined. Was then advised I would have to go through the whole process again! Not happy taking my business elsewhere.

Customer service is awful, claimed the parcel was lost in transit, but courier confirmed that they had not collected the parcel. Studio had failed to arrange collection, Studio then said it would take 30 days to look into, i could order the items again at my own expense or wait. Asked for complaints email they said i would need to wait 56 days for a response. Never know a company like it. Definitely avoid.

My first time ordering from this Company, i ordered personalised slippers for my wife and daughter. On their very hard to navigate site, i had put them in my bag and ordered and payed straight away. I got order confirmation but one pair did not have the personal letter on it for my daughter, i thought this would be a pretty simple fix so i called customer service, neither could they add the personal letter to the order or cancel the order, so simple a task to add the letter S to personalize the slippers, but no couldn't do it '' Company policy '' Never dealt with a more unhelpful customer service in my shopping history, i will never buy another item from this shower of crooks Wouldn't recommend to anyone ever.

Hello we chose for my Daughter’s Birthday, a dolls house from studio.co.uk which advertised that it had 20 furniture pieces and 3 dolls. It not only said this in the product description but also photos of the product showed the furniture. Myself and Partner thought this was great for I think it was roughly £50. We opened it up tonight and the paper instructions show 8 pieces with 2 dolls included in the 8. There is no fridge dog mini dolls house 2 other beds bathroom sink crockery bedside table Bedside lamp. To put it bluntly my daughter is missing half her gift. I rang them up and said you are falsely advertising a product and I would like the rest of the items sent to me ASAP. My Mother rang up as it was her card used as she got it for my Daughter. They said they couldn’t help her as I now had the item in my possession. So I rang up and they said they can’t talk to me as my Mother hasn’t given authorisation!!!!! I said that she had etc and they said they won’t pass me onto a Manager and they have told me that’s not an option to get the missing pieces sent and in short just be happy with what I have. I again explained that I have purchased an item from them that was wrongly advertised and she said I can’t help you. Please could you advise what to do as I can’t send it back as they told me the box has gone out with the rubbish today and the dolls house is already put together. We have now gone back and forth over a week and I’ve now just received an email saying ‘I’m sorry your having problems with the storage box you ordered and that we can get you the missing items’ Well that’s the final straw with me…..they do not understand that the items will never arrive as the producer/maker of the product doesn’t make it

Studio have really gone downhill - they don't deserve even one star. Ordered 60 personalised Christmas cards on their website last month, arrived 7 days later with a mistake on them. Spoke to a member of their Customer Services team (with poor command of the English language) and after 20 minutes, agreed that a mistake had been made and arranged for them to be printed again and the faulty one collected by their courier company, Hermes. After another 7 days, a replacement pack of cards arrived (and the faulty ones were collected) - but the same mistake appeared on this new pack of cards. Another prolonged phone conversation with their Call Centre (the female who I spoke to "came clean" and admitted that Studio no longer deal with customer queries in the UK, all are directed to their centre in the Phillippines - hence the communication problem with their poor command of English). At least this employee understood my problem and promised that it would be sorted urgently and a third pack of cards would be delivered within 7 days. She also advised that Hermes would collect the second pack of faulty cards on either November 26 or 27. No sign of a Hermes courier calling to collect, so I emailed Studio on November 29 - their response "we will arrange collection within 7 days". OK, fair enough. The third pack of cards was delivered yesterday, Friday, December 3 and, thankfully, the Hermes courier was willing to take back the second pack of cards. However, when I opened up this third box of cards, the very same mistake had been made again. Unbelievable! I will never order goods again from Studio and, despite the fact that, in previous years, I have not had problems when placing orders, this latest saga indicates to me that outsourcing your company call centre is not a good idea. I WOULD RECOMMEND THAT EVERYONE AVOIDS ORDERING GOODS FROM THIS COMPANY.

Awful, customer service is terrible, no one seems to read your emails properly and understand anything. I ordered something using the pay now option my money was taken and nothing was ever sent to me I never even received an email after 30 emails back and forth they still don’t understand the situation?!

Please, please, please! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Placed an order for a monitor, waited 3 weeks and it was still not dispatched. So after countless calls of them lying to me and saying it was in stock and would be shipped on this and that date. I ended up getting frustrated and cancelled the order only to place an order for a different monitor. I Placed the one order and was told it would be on a 6months 0% interest plan. Have checked my account and seen that it was not placed on a plan and are now expecting me to pay straight away. I asked if it could be placed on the plan and they have now told me that I have to send it back and re order the product. So upon trying to return the item, the delivery man turned up and said he was from express gifts. Naturally I assumed he was dodgy as I was returning my £350 monitor to studio and not “express gifts”. I feel like they should have told me that was the collection name. So now I have booked another collection, the man arrived and said that he needed a returns label and form, which they did not tell me about nor supply me with. So I booked a 3rd collection, I wasn’t told when they would be arriving but managed to get it shipped back with the returns label. Guess what? They collected it from my house and shipped it to my house. Brilliant! So now I have to book a 4th collection, they didn’t send me the returns label again. So I could not send it back this time. So on the 5th booking, I have now been waiting for over a week to return the item whilst they have been charging money to my account and destroying my credit. rEaLLy GrEaT cOmPanY!? My parcel was lost ,and I had to wait 30 days for an investigation ,still waiting !! They do not ring or contact me ,I've rang twice to be told they will be in touch after 30 mins kept waiting , NOT GOOD enough !!!
