I sold an item in December which UPS lost.I have been in communication ever since to get payment.The buyer was refunded but nothing for the seller.Over a week ago VC said payment would be received in 5 working days.No payment received.Very poor customer service.

Please think again when you buy something expensive from Vestiaire because if you get problems with them afterwards they don’t try to fix their problems. I had same experience than Theresia Yee Cheng Tan. I’m super upset about service and how they try to put you to resell item that in first place is not matching at all what you bought. Item that I bought was bag and leather parts where re painted and super glued. This is already matter of fraud so thinking to just forwarding this matter to another party.

Very disappointed and frustrated. I sold following item: Celine luggage purse, Olympia Le Tan clutch and a pair of Nicholas Kirkwood heels. I tried to contact Vestiaire by mail (they closed their support mail!) by chat and by phone. Turned out that after 14 days + of waiting for my money from 3 sold items, they had made a mistake. I asked for confirmation that someone would look into it and never got any. I tried chatting with the robot "Leo" several times, but no luck. Still waiting for my money. Costumer service is non existing. I just wan't to get paid for the items I sold, nothing else.

I do wish id read the reviews. I purchased something October and its till trying to get a refund for it as its gone missing. They keep extending their investigation time., I still don't have a refund. It was a item for mt husbands birthday which was the 5th of November. As you can imagine extremely embarrassing. The tracking (in the picture attached) shows the parcel has been involved in a 'incident'. 0 confidence. I would have thought luxury items would be appropriately packaged and sent using a proper method, not economy shipping?

Extremely unprofessional service; Dishonest Customer Service i.e. especially Jose Jinggo (Support Vestiaire Collective) and Daniel P (Support Vestiaire Collective). Due to their incompetence and unprofessionalism the issue has been forwarded to European Small Claim Court for a resolution. However, being a loyal consumer with Vestiaire Collective for more than six years, I find their reputation would depend on, amongst other things, to provide consumers with a decent service. I am very disappointed with their failure in doing so.

I have been a trusted seller off and on with VC. I have had multiple situations where I sent the sold item, the buyer received the item and I did not get paid. Mostly they claim “technical glitches”. Basically, if I did not track every single item I sold to make sure I got paid, then I would miss out on a lot of payments. The most recent instance was last month. I even messaged the buyer to ask if they received the item and they replied graciously that they did and that the item was perfect. I sent a screenshot of the private message with the buyer to VC and they still claim they must “investigate” the matter. I have contacted them every day for 2 weeks via chat and email (as they removed their phone number). Every time I’m told they will raise an urgent matter and I should receive a response within 1-3 working days. I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED A RESPONSE! It’s going on 3 weeks now since I should have been paid. The item was shipped first of the year! I have been slowly removing all my items from VC and selling on other platforms as their service has proven to be the worst!

Disgusting, no matter that I am a trusted seller on VC, every time I'm trying to put for sale an item I have to make it 4-5 times before it would be accepted - VC team rufuse it for reasons unknown - no respect for their sellers, neither for their buyers. I strictly not reccomend it

Never order from them!! What a waste of money I ordered a necklace and the seller shipped it to them for authentication.. a day later I received an email that the necklace is not as described by the seller and they had to cancel my order. I didn’t mind that the necklace got canceled, but my concern was that the exchange rate and bank transfer fees which is a very high percentage will be deducted from me when they issue the refund. So i quickly emailed them and went on the online chat to tell them about the transfer/exchange rates in order to avoid this problem before they send the money back. I went on an online chat with “Chin-Chin Paule“ and told her about the exchange rates, she said “i just talked to the experts, they said they will refund more than the amount you paid to avoid this exchange rate deduction”. Ofcourse I was sooo happy with what she said.... until a few hours later, I received a message from my bank notifying me that a refund of 4515 euros has been deposited and will be in my account within 48 hours! This means i cant see how much exactly in my local currency it is, but i can see that they refunded me exactly what i paid for, 4515 euros, not more, so Chin-Chin Paule literally lied and said they transferred more than what i paid to avoid this issue!!!! the necklace is 4515 Euros, they took from my account 1,748 Kuwaiti dinars exactly, guess how much they refunded me? 1,641 Kuwaiti dinars! do you know how much euros 108 Kuwaiti Dinars is? According to the GlobeConvert app, its 295 EUROS // 356 USD!!!!!!! WHO IN EARTH IS OK WITH LOSING 356 USD ON SOMETHING THEY DIDNT EVEN CANCEL THEMSELVES!!!! Ughhhh! So I quickly emailed Chin chin telling her that they refunded me exactly what i paid for, not more as she mentioned earlier! she said im sorry for the misinformation, but don’t worry ull receive exactly what you paid for... I couldn’t go on and explain that i wont be receiving what i paid, so i waited for my bank to officially deposit the money back in order to take screenshots of the amount that was debited and deposited & show the difference and the loss. That’s exactly what i did, I emailed chinchin that there’s 108 KD less than what i paid & i sent every single evidence!! Guess what? She ignores, a day goes by, another day goes by, NO RESPONSE! I go back to the online chat and i talk to one man he was very kind but obviously unhelpful, I explained everything and he said I understand how frustrating it is & that he would feel the same way blah blah blah... he then says that he’ll notify MS CHINCHIN. I said okk thanks and i waited.. Another day goes by, NO RESPONSE! i go on the chat again, i talk to another person.. explain everything & they say chinchin is the one who is in charge, we will notify her. I told them she wont respond!! They tell me we will mark it as urgent and said a bunch of things to shut me up! i said i want my money back and they keep saying the same thing! I just ended another chat a few minutes ago with someone names joline! Il see if she can help me cause i just wrote her a paragraph with all caps! I don’t understand why they are not taking the responsibility of this!!!, when VESTIAIRE cancels my order for whatever reason, they are the ones who should be responsible for it!!! What do I, as a buyer and as a customer have anything to do with it??? The seller didn’t sell an item she described,, soooo??? Let her pay the price of that!! Not me!! What a scam website!!! Don’t order from them, ull just waste money like i did!

I can’t even return the dress . As soon as I saw that dress,I hate it . Looks like this kind of old dress should go to Goodwill, not for sale. Only way you can get rid of dress is put up for sale with fee on Vestiaire Collective or take the loss over 200 dollars I paid for.

Not received my item, more than two weeks after dispatch. It’s been stuck in some depot since 19 January, and there is no contact email to complain to. Just a French speaking bot that repeats moronically ‘your order will be delivered soon’. Other than that, I found that I bid for an item but after accepting the price, I suddenly found all kinds of other charges added to it, amounting to over 50% of the original price. To add insult to infamy, I haven’t even got what I paid for! Shocking. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! it’s not worth the hassle!

I don't want buyers to be so sceptical about the site because I, on the other hand, am a satisfied seller and buyer. You have to be careful about second hand items on ANY site, not just Vestiaire. So let's keep it real and if you have to, you can still ask the buyer anything you want before you buy it or even ask for more photos.

Hermes and Goyard buyers beware!!! I have reported this to VC already so it's nothing new. I spotted many fake Hermes H buckles with the same serial numbers (even that is fake) sold by a few French sellers. They have the same photos, the same buckles/wallets, and the same serial numbers, where applicable. After my complaint these sellers are selling and sold fast! I feel sorry for the buyers who pay good money for fakes! Does VC care? I am still waiting to hear.

Vestiaire Collective simply is disgusting. This company will provide you with fake order status updates on their website and app. Vestiaire Collective will waste your money and time, show you fake status updates and wait for the customers to proactively contact them instead of owning up to their errors, forcing you to deal with their unprofessional "service" reps and have you keep waiting for nothing to turn up. Disgusting business practice and ethics, business is being reported to relevant consumer ombudsmen for dishonest practices.

There is no telephone or email. Have not been compensated for sold items. Have utilized online chat in excess of 30 times, they lie, disconnect, different story every time. Worst cust svc I have ever experienced. It is unbelievable and unconscionable they would not pay monies due

I buy on Vestiare at least once a month. However, I do not trust their gemologist’s. They passed two expensive items I purchased on two different occasions. Both had to be returned as they weren’t fit for purpose. Therefore, I cannot trust this site to purchase jewellery. Everything else I purchased was fine. Another tip never ever buy from a jeweller who sells on this site. You are not getting a bargain. Private sellers seem fine.

Such a horrible customer service. I listed Chanel boots for sale and as a first listing it was showing me £0 in fees on the app and also in the confirmation email. However, when my item was approved by Vestiaire and listed online, it was showing that I will have to pay £70 in fees. I contacted customer service via live chat and the guy (Luce) was incredibly rude saying that fees will be returned to me as a credit. I said that it was not mentioned anywhere and asked for the link to these rules, his reply was ‘this is the well known fact that we are only giving the voucher that you can spend on the website’ and disconnected from the chat. Then I contacted customer service via facebook and they told me that the free fee promotion ended a while ago and not applicable to my listing, when I send them screenshots confirmation that initially the promotion was applying to my listing they stopped replying.

luxury website for mediocre customers. Buyers should be rated. No manners and trying to get luxury items for high street prices. It is a joke the fact you get offers... my review is more for the buyers. As a seller I have had a very good experience using Vestiaire....

Very disappointed with this platform!! Everything is full of bugs. They basically running a no cost 1000% profit business which dries up the seller’s pocket. Very disappointed about the customer service, worse than a robot!!

I sold an item 1,5 month ago and I am still waiting to get paid. Shipping status still states that it has not been delivered although the buyer already confirmed me a month ago that he received it well and was satisfied. I have been sending over 20 mails to the helpdesk but keep on getting the same ridiculous answers. This is a crook site even for sellers !!!

I had paid for an item, Vestiaire had taken my money and hadn’t confirm the order. So I contacted the support and I was told my payment was being checked for a fraud. I was assured that it shouldn’t take more than 48 hours. The order still was not confirmed after 48 hours. So I contacted the support again. I was told to wait for 72 hours. Still nothing. So I contacted the support again and I was told to wait another 3 days! One day later they sold the item to someone else. I have not been refunded and I have not been sent the item. I don’t know what to do... Think twice before shopping there...
