Terrible customer service. I bought an item that was lost being sent to their office for authentication. It's now lost over 2 months ago and they refuse to refund me . They say it's now an investigation with the shipper who I don't even know is . They send you pointless emails trying to reassure you , but never follow up . I am now too nervous to buy anything else off Vestaire. Very poor customer care . Doesn't even warrant this star .

They shouldn’t even get one star as they are robbing disgusting company who currently have a belt I returned and my money. They should not be allowed to trade. I bought a belt that was advertised at the wrong size. So it’s far too big. Sent it back for a refund and they won’t give me one. They said I have to sell the belt myself.

I had the best experience with Vestiaire! I bought my item from a US seller so it arrived on time and without any issues. The item looked exactly like the pictures. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase!

The Hermès Bolide 37 vert VGL handbag I purchased was not authentic, which I realized THE moment I opened the package. Portions of the exterior leather had been poorly spot painted with a flat green color to hide blemishes & scratches and was gritty to the touch. Paint was on the protective feet on the bottom of the bag as well as the plate to lock the purse's zipper. The interior of the bag was made of some fabric, not made of the traditional Hermès leather, had no interior open pocket nor did it have the "Hermes, Made in France" stamp, which is imprinted on ALL Hermès Bolide 37 handbags. The pictures of the handbag were carefully staged so no clear picture displaying the missing interior pocket and "Hermes Made in France" stamp was visible. Luxury Garage Sales (LGS) of Chicago Illinois sold the handbag through Vestiaire. LGS authenticated the bag first and stood by their authentication. Vestiaire then authenticated the bag. Both professional sellers stood by their authentication process, despite the handbag's glaring faults which I photographed and sent to them both. Vestiaire's response time to my emails was unacceptable. Days would go by with no response despite Vestiaire sales reps telling me they would expedite my concerns to the powers that be and get right back to me. The poor reps were the pawns in Vestiaire's game. The shipping time was lengthy, but I was told international shipping can slow down the process. The handbag came from Luxury Garage Sales in Chicago, Illinois! More deception. I believe Vestiaire and LGS knowingly market and sell luxury goods that are not authentic, hoping the innocent consumer will not realize the goods are not authentic, playing off the customer's innocence and ignorance. IF a customer should realize the goods are not authentic, a return/refund may be offered, but no sanctions are levied to stop Vestiaire from continuing to sell inauthentic luxury goods and committing fraud upon consumers. Vestiaire has a "no return" policy, but informed me I could return the bag for another round of authentication. I rejected their offer of a mere return/refund and opted to keep the handbag as proof of their deception and file a claim with the Federal Trade Commission's Bureau of Consumer Protection. Retaining an expensive Hermès bag as proof is no small matter. It's very costly for me. Numerous emails sent to Vestiaire informed them of my recourse if they did not send me an authentic Hermès Bolide 37 vert VGL, which is what I supposedly purchased and what they had for sale on their site at that moment. Time will tell whether the FTC's Bureau of Consumer Protection will hold Vestiaire and LGS responsible for selling luxury goods, allegedly authenticated, but in fact are not authentic. I urge everyone who has been in a similar situation to contact the Federal Trade Commission's Bureau of Consumer Protection and file a complaint, well documented, hopefully moving the process forward to stop deceitful marketing/selling practices and committing fraud against consumers.

Enables scammers STAY AWAY I sold a pair of mulberry heels & the item was returned to me as it was reported by the seller as an ‘incorrect item’. The buyer had pretended I had sent her blazer instead even though all Vestiaire would have to do is check with Hermes and they would be able to see that what I posted was a large heavy box.. not a blazer. The buyer has therefore received my shoes for free. Extremely frustrating that this website clearly does not protect its sellers as they have enabled me to be scammed and that they would have an item returned to me so easily without letting me have any input into the situation. Stay away.

Believe the reviews.... awful. Just awful. Withholding information, payments, and then randomly deleted my account. I felt like they were treating their sellers like scammers... and it's made me want to sell my items elsewhere. Such a shame. Avoid.

I am a buyer from Singapore bought a bag from a seller in France. Vestiaire collected 'import duties' from me. But when DHL Singapore tries to deliver the item, it demanded for payment of import duties before it could release it to item. To my horror, I discovered that Vestiaire has declared the shipment incorrectly, resulting in DHL seeking import duties from me. Both I and DHL wrote to Vestiaire on 1 Apr to seek clarification but it refused to clarify directly with DHL on the custom declaration and even requested DHL to ship the item back to France. This is ridiculous. I have paid for the item and yet it is detained and at risk of being shipped back. I will bring this issue to both Singapore and French tax authorities to check if Vestiaire is accounting for the tax collected from its customers. The whole experience is extremely unpleasant and frustrating!

My seller was apparently slow in shipping my purchase so Vestiaire cancelled the transaction and returned my money, initiated entirely by them. Turns out the item had already been shipped and I received it a few days later. I was happy to pay for the purchase and keep the item but Vestiaire only offered the option of international bank transfer which would would of cost me a significant amount in bank fees. I requested an alternative method of payment, which took a long time to be provided. Eventually an option to pay by credit card online was offered, which I did. I was then asked to provide proof that I had paid - but offered no advance warning would need do this and their link did not generate a receipt. The whole time this was going one (over 4 weeks) I was constantly harassed with emails, arriving almost daily, clogging up my inbox. The emails were often vague and mentioned an enquiry I had never made. Wasted a lot of my time, plenty of polite platitudes in the emails but their way of handling this displayed a lack of concern for the customer. Very disappointed. Offered no compensation for the experience despite me requesting it.

Awful company. They lie and thieve and have stolen my money and are now just refusing to communicate. I’ve removed anything for sale with them and won’t ever use them. Please avoid them.

Awful company with terrible customer service. I think their robots are marginally more useful than their live customer support Agents. They will avoid answering your important questions. if any problems with the goods… good luck, you are on your own. Avoid them like plague!

IF YOU PAID BY PAYPAL, PUT IN COMPLAINT AND ESCALATE IT. No. 53662009 Return #13605227 I purchased a VALENTINO ROSIER handbag it was a FAKE and a bad one, I own 20 so I should know I bought 7 from them. They said it isn’t a fake and then put it for sale under my name. Anyone that asks me I tell them it’s a fake and I won’t on sell it and find it unethical and unscrupulous. I have contacted them via chat bot 5 times. Emailed 3 times. Nothing. There is no contact person, no direct phone number. If you look at all the negative feedback in the last few weeks I am guessing they are BANKRUPT. Buyers be ware.
