O sold them my Prada bag which was in pretty good condition for 430e. They informed me the sale is cancelled because it is heavily damaged. And they posted the pic of the same type of bag but with the details that I couldn't recognize and with the holes in the lining. My mistake tho is that I didn't take a lot of pictures of the lining but anyway I have the photos of the outside of the bag.I told them I will press the charges against them if it's not the same bag. They blocked the chat with me. Now I am expecting my order back and I am deeply traumatized about everything.I know it is not my bag or they somewhat damage it or the buyer did it or replaced it with the same style older bag .

Good afternoon since three years I fell and I was Vestiare Collective like a seller. I never had problems with nobody like a buyer is horrible. They are big liar. They accept people to post picture how they don’t below to the actual item recently, I buy one bracelet Chanel by the picture on the Vestiare Collective was from my necklace when I received the bracelet was that identification I noticed that bracelet doesn’t have stamp and she don’t have the quality of the Chanell item. I bring the bracelet to the Chanel boutique and they tell me Never this model doesn’t vas made and never exists , there was agreed to take back to check again the item, and after five days they say the original and completely compliant, and they will be released under my name and when they get sell they will refund me less commission I send a message to send me back the item because I want to send to the properly identification. They blocked me everywhere. They blocked me in the chat. They blocked me in the mail and they said they were done. Send me back item., this is a fraud , I tried to speak with the previous seller of this item and he said it’s private sale from the Chanell since then Vestiare does does it accept private sale or a gift why they insist this item its authentic I don’t understand that. I only want my item back to send them to properly authenticator or somebody answer me in the chat horrible customer service.,

Horrible! I've only been on a few weeks and have already gotten 5 offers on items and not one has paid. It's really ridiculous all they want it seems so s to keep lowering your prices and even if you do that still no payments. I'm closing out my account more frustrating than it's worth.

I am(now was) a seller on Vestiaire. I was sold fake items on Vestiaire, under the impression I was protected by their authentication system. When I was unsatisfied with how the items fit on me, I decided to list them. All four items I decided to list did not pass the listing guidelines when I explicitly took not only more photos than what the seller sold me did, but more detail in my pictures as well. Since then, I have a stain on my listing record that they refuse to take away because I, verbatim per them, “should’ve known better.” That’s how they talk to their clients. So I tried sending back my goods to be authenticated and to my surprise, they all passed. WRONG. So I went to list them again. So now the same pictures as before but including a picture with their Vestiaire authentication tag, it STILL failed. I got them on a recorded line stating this after I asked them, “so Vestiaire has members that authenticated the same item while other deemed it to be inauthentic is what you’re telling me?” The verbatim reply was “yes that seems to be so.” I can’t make this up people. Do not shop with these unprofessional frauds. They don’t care about your well-being. Trust me, this is coming from a seller myself whom has a ‘fashion activist’ badge as well as the ‘trusted seller’ badge for Vestiaire. Vestiaire is the worst selling platform on the market. I would rather sell on Ebay. Please please please do not invest your money into this place and if you do, don’t EVER become a seller here. Their guidelines are counter-intuitive amongst themselves. My account has been perma-banned because I hit my max number of refused listings due to the attempts of fake goods I tried to list. Not in my control for one, and for two, I was under the impression as a newer member at the time that what I was sold was real. Please beware. I’ve been drained of all my energy talking to different team members every day, with each new person not knowing the status of what has been happening prior to them ‘consulting’ with me. Oh and the Vestiaire chat member will have the nerve, the bold audacity to reach out to me EVERY TIME AT 3 IN THE MORNING. Like I’m going to be up at that time EVERY DAY. Get lost Vestaire. You just lost a vital member of this community and I hope the inevitable downfall of this platform happens sooner rather than later.

This company is a total farce and if I could give them a zero I would. I sent them a rose gold BVLGARI necklace and a pair of GUCCI trainers to sell (both brand new) and they sold really quickly within a week. Then VC decided that they couldn't authenticate my items so they are going to destroy them. The customer service is terrible and they owe me £1000 for the items they are going to destroy!!! Have reported them to trading standards, watchdog and the financial ombudsmen. Next step is solicitors!! Do not trust them.

Do not sell on this site! I recently completed my first sale on Vestiaire Collective, and the experience has been disastrous. Despite successfully shipping the item to the buyer and adhering to every requirement, I have yet to receive my payment, even though the stated payment window has long since passed. To make matters worse, my multiple attempts to contact customer support—via both chat and email—have been completely ignored. Thankfully the item wasn't that expensive but this is unacceptable!!!

I recently had a terrible experience with Vestiaire Collective. I bought a Cartier watch described in the website as very good condition (works perfectly) and paid 1650€ for the watch. Upon receiving the watch, I noticed that it does not work properly (operating slowly and time shown in the watch falls behind the real time). I wanted return the watch and get refunded, so I initiated the return/refund process. Based on the return/refund policy of Vestiaire Collective, the firm is mandated to further investigate items by their experts based on consumers` claims. They received the watch and sent it to me back without any further investigation on the watch. When I resent the watch twice and claimed that this is a violation to their own policies, they investigated the watch and came to the conclusion that the watch is functioning perfectly, and they sent me the watch back. I requested to receive a report demonstrating the analysis/investigation they concluded. They refused to provide me with such a report. They refused to refund me. I went to the Cartier shop to get the watch examined and identify if the watch has a defect. Upon their examination, Cartier confirmed that the watch has a defect in terms of its crown and pointer and these need to be repaired/changed so that the watch can function properly. Cartier charged me for this examination (which was necessary to identify the defect in the watch) for 470€. I provided the report on the watch I obtained from Cartier representing that the watch has a defect to Vestiarie Collective and requested to be reimbursed as I needed to pay additional 470€ on the top of 1650€ to get the watch repaired. Vestiaire Collective stated that the watch was examined by their experts and they concluded that the watch was functioning perfectly, and refused to reimburse my expenses. TO SUMMERIZE, VESTIAIRE COLLECTIVE SELLS HIGH PRICES ITEMS WITH DEFECTS WHICH CAUSES ITEMS NOT TO BE USED PROPERLY. IN ADDITION, THEY LIE TO CONSUMERS ABOUT THE REAL CONDITION OF ITEMS THEY SELL. THEY DO NOT EXAMINE ITEMS SENT BACK TO THEM PROPERLY, THEY DO NOT PROVIDE WITH ANY REPORT/ANALYSIS OF THEIR EXAMINATION ON ITEMS, WHICH IS NOT TRANSPARENT AT ALL. THEIR EXPERTS ARE VERY INCOMPETENT. I WILL NEVER EVER PURCHASE AT VESTIAIRE COLLECTIVE AGAIN.

I recently had a terrible experience with this company. I made an offer with a seller for £614, which was accepted. However, when I went to pay, the price reverted to the original £682 without any explanation. I noticed this right away and contacted customer service, hoping to cancel the deal immediately before the seller processed the order. But I was told that I couldn’t cancel the order myself—I had to rely on the seller to do it, which is already a huge red flag in terms of customer rights and flexibility. As expected, the seller quickly dispatched the package, conveniently preventing any cancellation. When I then asked if I could return the item once I received it, I was told no, unless the product was not as described. Basically, everything about returns and refunds is completely controlled by the seller and the company, with no room for genuine customer concerns or errors. This entire process is incredibly unfair, and their policies leave buyers completely powerless. I would strongly advise against buying from this website. It's a frustrating experience with no regard for customer satisfaction or basic fairness. Avoid at all costs!

I bought a bag and they have sent it to the wrong address three times now!!!!! I have waited over 2 months and I still don't have it -- it's a 1600Euro bag. It's impossible to reach anyone there, it's a perpetual cycle. DO NOT buy from here!!!

Hello, I’m writing about a truly disturbing situation that happened lately and I think it reflects how badly Vestiaire handles customer care. I sold a bag, YSL envelope medium, see photo attached, and today it was cancelled by the buyer. Upon reviewing the photos where she claims the bag has faults I don’t see proof of her claims. You can see it for yourself . This is the second time cancellation happened to me, and in the first case it was a similar situation (different item), none of the claimed “damages” were there. It was only luck that I sold that dress to someone in a short time and interestingly the second buyer was absolutely satisfied with the condition. Additionally, I’d like to point out that this bag is €2400 in stores at the moment, which makes the €1850 (out of which a considerable amount is commission…) a steal. I stated the bag as “never worn” because it was never used outside of the home and comes with bag, box and all the certificates. I am deeply disappointed that you don’t pay more attention to users, whether they are sellers or buyers. The app has glitches, I was logged out and wasn’t able to log back in while I was on the chat regarding another listing of mine. And I want to take the opportunity to mention another terrible experience with customer support. I sold and sent a CHLOE cashmere beanie in September, 11.09 was the day when I placed the package at dpd’s pickup location. Even though there’s a tracking number for the package, I’m not able to get any information on the whereabouts of this package and Vestiaire refuses to help as you claim I need to show the slip I was given by the shop assistant at the time of the sending. This is ridiculous. You either contact Dpd and sort this out or refund me and the buyer as well. The commission you take is high enough that we, users rightfully deserve a better care.

I have sold Dolce&Gabbana men’s coat, size 50. providing pictures of the label and tag. Providing measurements. My sale got cancelled. Quality control team has measured the coat in inches and stated that these measurements are in cm. While you can even see in the photo provided, that measurement is in inches, not cm. They said that the actual size of the coat is 44, while all labels are showing 50. And that shoulder length is 20cm, when it’s 20 inches. 20cm is child’s length, not men’s. My £500 sale got cancelled. Customer service did not apologise, ignored all the proof provided and did not escalate the case to management as requested. This case is outrageous. Don’t trust quality control there and don’t rely on customer service.

They lost my purchase and refuse to refund my money. The seller goofed up the shipping and lost my parcel and VC refuses to refund me as I am not responsible for shipping issues. I was the purchaser.

Extremely poor customer service and customer experience. Their number one priority is keeping your money. It’s a big risk to shop here, if you’re lucky, it will go smooth but if you buy something from a deceitful seller- you’re out of luck and VC will NOT help. They give you a run around, will lie to you, disconnect the chat and try to wear you down with extremely long wait times. It’s a headache and really not worth it. Find an honest retailer and save yourself from the nightmare that is VC

A professional seller has stolen my pictures and uses them, I had to send Vestiaire the original pictures, pictures of the background I use, this has been going on for almost a month and they do NOTHING. In fact they sent me a mail and claim that the item has been removed from sale - A TOTAL LIE by the Vestiaire customer service, as the item is still up, even with the comments that I left under the item to request the removal of my pictures. Are they actually doing something or are they just lying to people? This is outrageous. The seller has the item still up: https://www.vestiairecollective.com/women-shoes/sandals/bottega-veneta/navy-patent-leather-bottega-veneta-sandals-47896573.shtml My comments are still underneath, to be lied like that, it does remove all trust! The chat service is useless, if you email them they give you the runaround and then lie to you

I had nothing but unpleasant experience with this platform. Customer service is non-existence, almost always took a day to respond without fixing the issue. Most recent experience being I had opted in the campaign with 4 listings only to shockingly find out they dropped price on two of my most expensive yet popular listings without my consent but not the 4 listings I had opted in. Customer service kept saying there’s no way to change price on their end and asked me to patiently wait until the campaign is over by end of October. This is hilarious and I even doubt if they intentionally dropped price on these two most expensive yet popular listings. Asked for an email address, nothing, asked to hav the ticket transfer to higher management, nothing, just the same incompetent agent replying back to you like a robot every 24 hours without actually actually understanding the issue at hand. Frustrated and disappointed!
