Trying to buy a product and want to confirm if the seller is trustworthy as he has been selling for 2 months with 3 sales. I tried to communicate with the seller and also with Vestiaire and they banned me for trying to communicate. Really disappointing, you speak to a bot that does not help and with no means of communicating with a person.

league watch out for this company! my account was close after sold 50 items sold. I can't get access and money back. I don’t broke any rules all item was authentic No contact with customer service. No money for 19000 €. If you don't want to lose better don't sell anything via this website!

I purchased a lady dior bag that was described to have "minimal wear" and be in "excellent condition". I had the bag authenticated through vestiare collective so i could have peace of mind. When i received the bag, it had much more damage than the seller disclosed which vestiare collective failed to disclose as well. The bag reeked badly, the stitching was falling apart throughout the bag (threads undone and poking out everywhere and the stitching completely undone on the handles), it had also been repainted so the texture did not feel like soft lambskin leather at all anymore. I reached out to vestiare collective and they asked me to send it back to inspect. They claimed to find nothing wrong with it and posted it for sale under my own account so they could resell and gain commission AGAIN. I was forced to reach out to my CC company to file a dispute which hopefully gets resolved. Vestiare collective deactivated my account and currently i'm out of both thousands of dollars and the bag. BEWARE.

Terrible first (and last) experience on this website. Price was displayed in Euros since it's the currency on my account. I made an offer to a seller, which was accepted in EUROS! Once at the checkout page, PayPal, which was an option offered as a method of payment, was disabled and I could not click on it. Moreover, there was no option available for installment payments as advertised on their website so the only option for me was to pay upfront with card or Alipay... But this is not the most surprising part! The climax of my customer experience happened when the price (that I was supposed to pay in euros) magically switched in dollars on the invoice. I did not immediately notice that from euros to dollars, there was a difference of more than $60. Since I have a US bank account, I used my US card and billing address but immediately reached out to the support to get a refund of the price difference. They just denied the issue, did not take any responsibility, and just ignored my refund request. I asked to cancel the order, they answered they could not do anything but try to reach out to the seller. This is so bad! This company is stealing and cheating customers out of money by changing the currencies behind their back. This is theft!

My account was rated as an *expert seller* with over 30 positive sales that had been authenticated. On Monday August 1st I shipped out 17 orders along with 10 orders on Friday July 29th for a total of 27+ orders (a few more pending from previous days) - After I shipped I tried to check in my account to confirm everything was shipped okay and updating and my account had been banned. Customer Service said they'd get back to me in 2 hours, then 24 hours, then 48 hours - it's now been 4 days and no one will respond to me explaining why my account was closed or giving me the status of my 27+ items I have shipped out. I can no longer view the sales history to track what I have been paid for or not and basically this creates a situation where Vestiaire Collective is free to steal from me whatever they choose without payment - I neither have access to view which items are not "authenticated" that I should pay to have returned because I can not even view the order history or status of the orders. I will be posting similar reviews as this everywhere on the internet as well as filing charges with the police in Tourconig France if this issue is not resolved. Tip for consumers: Be careful as a seller, they create a scenario where you can lose literally thousands of euros, I have about 4k pending and can not even track the status of my sales I shipped or if any items need to be returned to me, I can not see that either. they have effectively blocked me from getting paid on 27+ orders as well as returning any items that may potentially not be accepted. Products used: I sold 27+ products, my account was in Expert Seller status with 30+ positive sales - I was banned for no reason immediately after shipping 17 products on Monday August 1st - my account was closed with no explanation or reason. 100% of my sales were successful.

I sold a woman’s handbag on their website. Immediately after receiving the item, the customer opened a case and I received by email that the sale was cancelled. When I contacted them they told me that there was a difference between the pictures in the ad and the product and sent me pictures that the customer sent them. Of course didn’t have difference between the advert and pictures from the customer , but they hadn't bothered to look at the pictures. After realizing that they made a mistake, they told me to send the bag to them and they would immediately make a payment upon receipt. But after they received the item they said that they needed 2-3 days to review the bag and stopped responding to my messages.

I am not sure where to start, 1st of all there seems to be no customer service, then they use the cheapest carriers, with the result that items disappear, to get them to investigate is a horrendous experience, the people they call customer service seem to be unable to read, or maybe they are simply not bothered? Items get lost left right and center with the delivery people they use, you write to them that a parcel hasn't moved for ages, you sent it on such and such date, they want to you to confirm you haven't received it (when you say you are the seller/sender they reply to you as the buyer), then they want all sorts of documents, like IDs in unencrypted eMails, which is super risky, but the bots at VC do not care, also the delivery services do not require this as VC is the one who issues the labels. I am honestly now shivering if I have to send something via their cheap and nasty carriers, I literally know NOBODY as (not a single person) who has not lost an item or several, they eventually will pay, but that often takes 2 months. Their chat feature is horrible, you get people requesting all sorts of inappropriate things, sexual harassment is rife, if you do not reply you get insults, however a friend of mine was blocked from chat as Evri has lost a parcel, the buyer wanted to know what goes on, so my friend told them their delivery service seems to have lost it, she has eMailed VC about it, the word eMail is enough to get you a ban. Also in VC you can see if an item was sent and track it there, apparently their "service bots" do not care, I bet none of them works for VC and it is all outsourced and that is why you get this horrendous quality! My latest incident was with somebody who asked all sorts of questions and measurements that were in the description, when I politely said that all the measurements are in the description, would she bother to read it please, I got this reply: "That’s Helpful! Hope you can loose the obese weight - you look real fat and ugly in your profile" While this doesn't bother me, I replied that I hope she gets new glasses soon, there is another issue: I am aware there are a lot of young people on the platform and such a comment might harm their self-esteem and possibly could also cause an eating disorder, so I reported her comment. The reply was ridiculous: "I come back to you about your chat ban request. After checking, you're not banned from the buyer/seller chat. However, some of your contacts are banned, that's why you're unable to communicate with them. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Have a lovely day, Camille, Vestiaire Collective" I also provided screen shots of this. Seriously, VC is turning into a joke! Maybe Vestiaire could train Camille to be able to read, as her ability to press autoreply is more miss than hit....

I’m still waiting for my order which is now well overdue, they state that I have received it but I haven’t, I’ve asked them which carrier they use for Australia & their response was they need my drivers licence passport No etc. they won’t track it for me until I send my details. It’s a disgrace.

Full of fakes! Their “expert team” very often geta it wrong and identifies fake as real and real as fake! They claimed my limited edition bag was fake, until I was able to obtain a copy of the receipt and suddenly it was real again!! They then charge you 12eur so that they can ship back the item that they have incorrectly identified as fake!!! Complete scam and rip off! There are thousands of “verified“ accounts that sell fake stuff and can ship directly to the customer and V. still charges the same “authentication” fee, even though no one ever looks at the item!! Dont ever buy or sell from those scammers!

My first nightmare experience with this company. Firstly, I tried to sell my bag and it went through to their authenticity to check, they refused it. OMG…My bag is real but what’s going on. They asked me to pay £12 or $12 or €12 for returning my bag back to me but they didn’t give me clear the transferring company, address and account. I had to call my bank but they couldn’t go through. After 1 hr I managed to send it and emailed to them the proof. They told me to wait for the next 10 working days for my bag to return. More than 1 week I haven’t received any email from them for shipping information. Yesterday I sent them 3 emails but noone replied. Today I went to the app and chatted with customer service, they said my bag hasnt been requested for return yet. What??? Then she has requested and told me to wait for 7 working days. When my bag was sold, I sent it to them, not even 2 days they refused but then I have to wait so long for my bag to return…horrible service!! 0 star not even worths 1 star

This company is absolutely a joke, if you think ebay is bad, this company 10000000% worst. 1. Buying Experience: They charge ridiculous amount for their so call "authentication by expert team", but they often get it wrong, fake passed as authentic, authentic denied as fake. Their representation of match description is pathetic, when items listed as new with tags, the tags are clearly cut off and re attached however it seem this is no issue to them as long as the tag is somewhat included. The tag also don't need to be designer label tag, can be any tag. This is from my personal experience, once received a dress claim as new with tags, the tag that was provided was the "do not remove if you plan to return" tag. When i questioned the tag issue, their customer service is like a programmed robot "our expert team found the item is compliant" and refuse to provide any resolution other than to have the item relisted at a loss. 2. Customer Service: they are like program robot, all the reply is the same, and it takes weeks to have one small issue to resolve, everything is will get back to you within 3 days or 5-7 days. Their chat function is a nightmare to use. 3. Selling Experience: Recently I sold an item, and their so call expert team couldn't verify and requested original invoice from me. In that email they stated if I don't have the required information, the sale will be cancelled and item will OF COURSE return to me free of charge. This is completely lies! I responded same day advising i dont have the original invoice. The sale obviously cancelled, but they asked $12 USD from me to have the item returned, I reached out to their customer service to show them the proof of the original email that it will be free of charge. As expected, it responded by saying will reply to me in 3 days time. 3 days gone, no update, I reached out again, this time the agent said they don't have a time line when the item can be returned as they Prioritise new orders. WHAT THE!! they take less than one day to ship new order, but my item now sitting in their hands for 7 days and yet they don't have a time line. They only care about taken your money! to add to this, I reached out again and asking for update since its been a week now, the new agent now claim their expert team responded that i have to pay the $12 fee. So after waiting over a week no one bother to let me know i still have to pay the fee. She sent me another Euro bank account which is different to the one i received via email. so she want me to pay 12 euro now instead of 12 usd. They also didn't include their address as for international transfer this is a requirement and when i asked for the address the agent said will get back to me in 1 day. OMG!! is this company run by a group of kids? They ask customer to pay but provided incomplete information? I reluctantly paid the $12 to their US bank account as provided in their original email (as euro costs me more) and i have to google their US address given their staff doesn't know their own company address. After submitting the payment, the agent claim their US account no longer active!! and i have to wait another 5-7 days for update of progress....... this is a nightmare. How can they operate a company by providing WRONG bank details, and now refuse to take any responsibility for it. Their instruction is unreasonable and pathetic. So now i paid the money and they still keeping my item and do not want to return it.

The worse service ever .. NOT EXPERTS AT ALL .. same items form my Italian account they sold without doubt and same items from my polish account they refused .. DONT TRUST THEY DONT HAVE EXPERTS I would be worry to buy any item from them !!! All my items are 100% original and they are not able to verify and NOT ONLY ME have same problem .

I have been seller and buyer in Vestiaire already 1 year,the all june i have sold my items please note my own items from my own garderobe, belt all items was bought from my own salary which my own labor!Im not professional seller it is not my business ,so the total amount of items sold over 700 euro…big job to pack them to go to post and so on and to sell them with low price… Today mean 1 of July i got email from Vestiaire that i need to update my personal data to download passport photo and home adress from the any kind of documentation which will show that im living in this adress! I don’t own apartment and the owner dont let me to share personal data information with Vestiaire! Now Vestiaire do not pay my items as well do not give back all my own things! Just think how awful it is! To change the rules without informing beforehand the members and not to pay amounts which was sold before rules has been changed! Dear future members of Vestiaire be ready if you sell your used shoes or anything you will have to download your passport and give your home adress in documents! Also fee of Vestiaire is very high! The math is very clear you bought item with 100 euro for example used it then try to sell with 40 euro and you will get almost nothing. Vestiaire it is not government institutions in order to ask passport and aproval of your home adress! As well do not have a rights to pend payment before you show your documents! This is scam way to make a business! Do not deal with them! They change the rules without informing ahead and then they use this that they will pay you only when you are filling they demands!

Horrible customer service . Only bota not possible . The app is outdated . You can’t choose which album to select pictures to post making listings a new item almost impossible if the pictures of the item you want to sell are not recent . Horrible experience with CS. Just horrible . !!!

I sold a prada bag. and I sent it to them for authenticity check. At the authenticity check they told me they wanted additional documents to be sure! As the originality control team is checking, they must not have opened the bag and looked at it. Inside the bag, inside the small envelope, there is the authenticity card that the prada store gave me. On the authenticity card, there is a stamp that it was bought from Istanbul Turkey Prada Zorlu store and the date of purchase. But because they did not open the bag and look at it, they asked me for additional documents :) I have been trying to get an answer for an original bag for 6 days. They say they will get back to you within 24 hours, but there is no one to respond to me! no one answers me from live chat. I made a sale here, but I can neither get an answer nor my money. this is a disgrace and no one is helping!!!!!!!!!
