Could Be Better
Wouldn’t refund unworn earrings purchased as a gift. Sent a sarcastic email saying how reasonable their policy is. Avoid this lot like the plague.

When I noticed my engagement ring had a diamond missing,I was worried about what could be done,As we didnt have the money to buy a replacement and the fact it was my engagement ring as which was very sentimental and had hoped it could be mended.But I worried myself for nothing as I went into the Hartlepool store and told them one of the diamonds had come out,They examined the ring and said it was a manufacturer's fault,so they ordered me a brand new one. I was without my ring for only a week but now it sits pride and place where it should be.. Cannot praise the staff at the store at all,always helpful and friendly! Only problem I have is I cant go in without coming out with something lol.

Tried phone number it changes to a fax,! Called another branch and within minutes after the call low and behold the Trafford centre branch called me and as you guessed it they could not supply my order. Absolutely rubbish customer service , no wonder people go to established jewellers.

Poorly made jewellery. Rude unhelpful staff. Will not be returning. The photo is my original ring that the claw broke on paid to be mended which they ruined and replaced it with the other piece of tin. Staff claimed there was nothing wrong with it. Straight to head office and was able to get a refund. Do not shop here!!!

Very ill-mannered staff. Went to gravesend store. I bought a necklace and paid via Apple Pay then I decided to buy a bracelet but was served by a different member of staff who then told me I couldn’t pay with my phone and needed my card. When I nicely asked why as I had just bought something literally 5 mins ago and paid via Apple Pay. She was so rude and said she doesn’t make those rules! Never buying from this store again!

Very disappointed about the staff attitude. I wanted to buy some wedding rings that they had to order as they had size only for one of us. All good until I've got a call today saying that they can't order one of them as is Christmas, so I can come to buy the one they have in stock and try another of their store to find the other. As they said I can ring and ask the other store if they have it in stock, I asked them yo do it for me as it was easier and ring me back and tell me. The answer was that they can't ring themselves. So terrible customer service experience. After I've been in touch with their customer service team their answer was to go in their store and order them. That is what I have done in the first instance so no helpful at all.

Bought engagement ring from merthyr store 2018 ... cost £500. White gold.. within 3 months ( March 2019) . Had become tarnished _ becoming yellow. Took back to store , they sent it off to be replated, forward to dec 2019 , still going yellow. Not happy and disappointed especially wat I paid for it .... beware

Bought earrings a few months ago for a friend's birthday but last week the centre stone of one of the earrings came out. Still had receipt and took back to the Rutherglen store today where they were bought and I was very impressed with the customer service I received from the staff. They could not have been more helpful and replaced the earrings with a brand new pair immediately. Many thanks to the staff involved with this transaction today and 10 out of 10 for efficiency .

I went in Princess Quay to day the 27th November 2019 and saw 2pairs of pierced earrings could not decide which ones to buy for a Christmas present from Warren James I asked to see them but was only showed one pair so I bought those, I went out of the shop and checked the ones I liked in the window again I went back in the shop to the lady was serving some one else and another lady came which I explained I wanted the other earrings in the window. I still had the receipt and earrings in my hand to exchange. The lady said we cant exchange them because I went out the shop, I was shocked and angry because the earrings had not been worn or out of the pouch they was in. I understand fully if I had taken them home then returned the next day but I never. I must have been out that shop a couple of minutes to check the ones in the window and went back in to the shop. I will never go in that shop again. And hope this review will help others because I am so disgusted with the way I was treated.

My 16 year old bought bracelet for £149 told could get links out but not there .i took to another jeweller who stated was possible but would need redipped as silver bonded very little gold .value approx £60 .They said would also tarnish girl in shop said it wouldn’t.im disgusted as no point was he told could not get cash refund .she said bring back within 16 days yeah missed out exchange not cash refund .how on line can you return and get refund total con artists

Recently tried to order some ratings for my wife in-line. Using my phone I completed all of the required information, both personal, delivery and about item. When the final confirmation screen came up there was no way to complete the transaction. No "pay now" facility or anything else. After numerous attempts I have up and tried m laptop. This time, when I selected the "hoop earrings" option, all I kept getting was a screen showing reviews. They do not supply a phone number and only have an e-mail contact facility for existing orders, though how they ever get any I cannot figure out. Their whole in-line ordering facility is a joke, and had I been able to rate them as no stars I would have done. This company is the worst I have ever dealt with on-line.

Absolutely disgusted with this company Absolutely disgusted with this company. We bought our wedding bands from the Braehead, Glasgow store on 13th October for our wedding on 26th October. The rings were brought home and placed into ring boxes to keep them safe until the day of the wedding, the rings were not worn or taken out of the boxes until the 26th. The day after the wedding my now husband realised that his hands must have been slightly swollen from the heat in the shop when we purchased as the ring was now too loose, so the day after he took off the ring and put it back into the ring box, so that we could take it back to the store and exchange it for a smaller size. Fast forward a week later to today, we visited the Braehead store, with the ring and the receipt, the girl behind the counter said she would just go into the back and check with her manager, literally two seconds later she came back to inform us that the ring couldn't be exchanged as it was scratched and was showing signs of wear!!!!!! We were horrified, I reiterate this ring was worn for no longer than 24 hours at the most!!! In addition the ring is titanium which is supposedly scratch and scuff resistant!!!!!! They also claim that the rings were checked before they were sold to us, which they WERE NOT! But it's ok, the assistant claimed we can sell you a replacement ring!!! How stupid does she think we are, buy another ring from there only to be sold a sub-standard product and then have them claim that it was perfect when it was sold to us!! I don't think so!!! We left the store absolutely furious, and I will NEVER EVER buy from Warren James again. I would not advise anyone to purchase from here, but if you have to make sure you take an eyeglass or magnifying glass with you to ensure you are actually being sold a new product and not a sub-standard one as we clearly were. I am absolutely disgusted and can only describe this store as being a shower of con artists!!!!

Customer service appalling. Wanted to buy a quick birthday gift. The policy of the store is that, unlike other jewelers they do not allow you to look at a tray of items to choose from in store. I was expected to choose through the shop window ! I said I didn't know which one I wanted and needed to look properly. Was left standing in the shop for some time whilst the assistant apparently removed each item from the tray and logged it. That's a guess as no one explained what was happening. The manager , in the shop at the time with no other customers, made no attempt to offer an apology for the wait or to explain what was happening or indeed to engage with the customer in any way .. I didn't have the time to wait so left and made a quick purchase at another jewelers who allowed me to see a tray of product. I wrote to Warren James who completely ignored the customer service aspect of this and just said that's the procedure !!!

Low quality badly made items earrings and bracelet useless after a couple of wears ! Rather pay little more for items that will last longer

Bought a ring from Warren James two weeks ago, when i wore it the next day i could see there was clearly flaws on it, i went on holiday so could only go back to the store tonight, the shop assistant agreed with me it was flawed she then proceeded to get another ring to compare it too and it was the same, she then got her manager who told me the ring was not flawed but that was the design, the design has stones missing? Really, she said she could not doing anything for me and she kept repeating this is the design, she would not exchange it for me for something else and she said they did not give refunds and that i was being to sensitive about the ring, what does that even mean. I told her i would be going to head office but that didnt seem to bother her, if i had the time i would go to trading standards, please do not waste your hard earn cash on this shop, to be honest i think this is what we used to have called a seconds shop years ago as in the merchandise is not up to standard and has flaws so this is why they can sell it at at a reduced price, will never shop there again.

My husband and I purchased 2 gold and silver wedding rings to celebrate our Ruby Wedding anniversary. We bought the rings from the High street branch in Ayr on 6th May 2019 but did not begin wearing them until 24th August 2019 (our anniversary) Within 2 weeks of wearing my ring it was covered in scratches but my husbands ring is still perfect. I took my ring back to the store but the assistant said it was just wear and tear and she tried to polish it up without success. We are extremely disappointed and cannot understand how one ring is perfect and the other is very much damaged.
