“WORST delivery company ever!!! Our phone number always on parcels and they NEVER call so I can open gate, they just throw parcels over gate and when I contact depot, all I get everytime is "you weren't in" and "driver had no choice", both a lie!!! There is always someone here, they are just not prepared to DELIVER IT INTO YOUR HANDS, just throw and go, not caring at all about contents that can break”
“Flowers delivered to wrong house. But when I called them they described my dad's house but said it had a small car in the driveway and a white door. I knew straight away this was not his house as he is 90 and does not have a car. The gentleman I spoke to asked me was I calling the driver a liar. Appalling service flowers turned up 3 days later at a different address when the driver went looking for them or so they say.”
“Worst delivery service I have ever seen. They are just unprofessional and liars. Driver's name was ALAN. The guy didn't call me or came to my house and knock, he just updated it like failed attempt. I called to re-arrange the time, he tells me he will be delivering in the afternoon, and again didn't do anything. Cork office not helpful at all, after 15 attemps calling, they tell me that the parcel will be delivered next day, and that was 5 days ago. I would NEVER recommend this company, it is a joke.”
“DPD is so bad I’m not buying anything from any company that uses them anymore. If I pay for something, I’d like a greater than 50/50 chance of getting it.
The drivers must be given unrealistic amounts to deliver, “near enough” must be the company motto and offering the cheapest delivery charges the strategy.”
“Very poor service. I accidentally sent a parcel to a customers billing address so I called up to try and redirect it. I got through to a customer service rep who did help me and said she can redirect it and that it will be delivered to the new address but might take a bit longer. Over the next few days I followed the tracking as it went back to the Athlone depot so it could be redirected to Dublin. Then I started to see "cancelled misdirect" and "re routing" messages. I eventually managed to get through to someone who was completely useless. All I wanted to know is that it was going to Dublin as arranged on the previous call a few days earlier. The tracking messages clearly made it appear that the original redirect was being cancelled and it was being shipped back to the original address. After spending 30 minutes trying to explain she said I should ask my customer to call up. I don't know what that was going to achieve. Then she tried to ring the Dublin depot but couldn't get through. I eventually got the number and called the Dublin depot myself and was assured that yes the package will be redirected and delivered to the redirected address on Tuesday. Checking on on Tuesday I again see messages about the package travelling through the network and then out on the delivery truck in the wrong location. So the package was originally at location X and I got it redirected to Dublin and they redirected it back to location X all whilst telling me it will definitely be delivered to Dublin. How difficult can it be to re route something!!! Numerous phone calls and emails were made and notes left on the ticket. I just can't understand it.”
“If I could I would not leave any star. Xxxx service, dropped to pickup point o 28th, driver picked up on 31st, had the parcel with him till 5th, and still no sign of parcel, still on transit, come on, from Dublin to Cork, it is not from Dublin to New York! Never use them again.”
“Over last few months have had numerous problems with this company... Parcels sent back to company with no attempt even made to deliver.. told delivered when had not been.. delivered to the wrong address.. package left on wall in rain though always somebody in home to answer door.. Used to be a reliable service Now a joke.. they are now understaffed and drivers are underpaid. This is being taken out on customer's who are paying for a service they no longer can properly provide. Company's paying for this courier service should be made aware”

“I rescheduled delivery date ( as per options on dpd website) but parcel still delivered anyway. Delivery guy then left parcel in disused shed at back of house without informing me. Spent over an hour on Christmas Eve trying to track package-contacting neighbours & redirected to a totally unfit for purpose 'web chat'. Rang dpd 3 times-I did speak to a most helpful lady eventually who informed me that the package was in shed.
Suggested Action: Don't put options on website that are then not provided to customers, inform delivery personnel of hassel caused to customer by their actions ( or lack of) & discontinue using web chat- robotic & useless. Would not recommed dpd to supplier.”
“First notice of a delivery was 9:08 a.m. last Saturday morning. The message read “It’s dpd do have eircode.” Dpd should have researched eircode beforehand and written it on the parcel. As I was asleep when message arrived, I read it at 12:08 p.m. and sent my eircode. I received a phone call that night @ 8pm from a woman in Kilcrohane, about 20 kilometers from Durrus, where I live. She said she found a package adddressed to me on her doorstep. She said she would drop it to the grocery store in Durrus the next day. I had to walk more than a mile to get it. If the woman in Kilcrohane had not been honest or conscientious, I never would have received the package. Terrible communication and careless drivers.”
“Absolutely terrible, the drivers give your parcels away to anybody who is close to your house when your not in...
They don't answer the phone, the online chat is useless only give you an update using the tracking number, ring the depot won't answer, voice mail any callback. A joke, go with DHL next time and all the time...”

“A joke of a company despite the millions they make. I’d go into detail about my issue but it’s summarised by numerous users in other posts on this forum. What sort of a clown leaves electrical goods in the rain uncovered,? The real problem is you can’t deselect them as a courier if the company you order from is tied into them.”

“NEVER USE THIS COURIER SERVICE!
They took a photo of my parcel, a PCR test that was urgently needed, against a door, not my door, and said it was delivered.
A total con merchant, they won't trace the driver who delivered the parcel. I've used Hermes, Amazon, DHL who only take a photo of the delivered parcel with a person handling the item, not against any door.
The driver stole the test kit, no doubt.”
“Worst experience ever. Driver claimed my package couldn’t be delivered to my home as no one was home (despite a member of my family being home all day). When I amended my delivery to have my items delivered to a local pick up point (a Centra store) I was informed no one was in the shop all day! Absolutely ridiculous service. Took nearly over a week to get my items after being informed every day that my item was out for delivery and failed to be delivered for some ridiculous reason. Driver allowed no opportunity to leave a voicemail or to call back, had to email a supervisor to get my items. Never again.”
