The only reason you have a one star is because it wouldn't let me leave a review. I Was waiting on a parcel to have yodel tell me it was delivered. They said they had posted it through my letter box when I knew it wouldn't have fitted as it was a hand bag, and not being at all surprised, there was no parcel when I got home. I contacted customer service for them to ask me to check that its not been left in a safe place or with a neighbour. I had already done this before I contacted them, even though I knew it wasn't anywhere else because the driver had already stated that they had posted it through my LETTER BOX! I told the customer service guy and he said that he couldn't speak to the delivery person until the end of his shift. I also stated that the drivers mobile number is on the delivery tracking and I'd phoned and left numerous messages on their phone for them to contact me, but have had no reply. The customer service guy said they would be in contact with me with in the next 24 hours to give me an update. The next morning I was leaving the house and there, on my doorstep was my parcel. It was left during the night and had been opened. I was so angry and I'm still waiting ( 3 weeks now ) for the customer service's to get back to me with an update. I would NEVER use this company, they are nothing but thief's.

In a Covid world for many people the Yodel driver may be the only person they see in days. If I had been unfortunate enough to be one of those people, I couldn't have wished for more friendly, accommodating, smiley person to deliver my parcel. He would not only have made my day, but made my week! Thank you so much 🙂

WebChat staff try to help but how can they when the company themselves are liars or, maybe, even thieves. Same story as so many on here - no-one in so could not deliver - left a card. Except that there were two of us in, I have signed-for items from Post Office in the Yodel delivery window and there was no 'card'. Mind bogglingly bad - and I have spent many years as a courier driver in my life so I've seen a few cowboys! Avoid at all costs.

Yodel delivery driver had a go at my young daughter of 17 as he knocked the door and did not hear him. So when my daughter heard the door again she answered to him saying horrible things to her saying that we heard him but ignored him. Good job I was busy because if I heard him speak to my daughter rudely he would not have gone back in his taxi. ( yes delivery driver in a taxi). Pure rude not happy. Stay clear of this company if they hire idiots like that.

So first, they tried to deliver. I was watching the tracking closely, seemed great, even had GPS. So when it finally got to my stop, apparently, despite being able to find another delivery directly across the street, they couldn't find the address... Ok I thought, I'll just get in contact with customer service. They were pretty good, told me they'd rearrange for the next day. Next day rolls around, and guess what? It's been damaged, and I have to re-order from the company I order from. So this really leaves me with two interpretations, either they are mentally deficient or have just stolen the package. It's put me off from ordering from this retailer who uses this delivery company and is proving troublesome.

I received tracking information from Yodel on my imminent delivery. I was delivery number 20~ of 80~. A few hours passed, no delivery. Curious, I took to my emails to click the tracking link again hoping it would give me an update. It did... "We have attempted to deliver your order from Very however we were unable to access your delivery address". I was stumped. I had been at home all day, the roads were clear and there was space on my driveway... It's my belief that the driver could not be bothered to make the delivery and will simply "do it later"(tomorrow). I tried to call someone from Yodel because I needed the parcel on the day of delivery - a silly automated tracking service answered. I gave up on that quickly and turned to the 'live chat'. I spoke to 'Lavi Arora' on live chat. This person did not help either. Simply ignoring the many times I mentioned the fact the property WAS ACCESSIBLE. Their response? "Sorry, you'll need to wait until tomorrow. I was willing to meet the driver on their route, collect (socially distant) and be done with it. According to Lavi, the drivers don't carry company mobile phones. Nonsense. Lavi then asked "can you confirm tomorrow is suitable for delivery". I asked Lavi what difference tomorrow would make, given the property was accessible today? No response. Lavi ended the chat. After the live chat I requested the transcript of the chat - which was never sent to me...thankfully I have screenshots and pictures of the very accessible property. Given the current pandemic, it's unreasonable to delay a parcel given that most shops locally are CLOSED. In the future, I will avoid Yodel at all costs.

Yodel are the worst delivery company I have ever used. I have had several expensive items stolen and on rare occasions when my parcel has been delivered. The boxes have been opened by the courier and my personal details have clearly been looked at. This company shouldn't exist. I have never had any issues with any other delivery company.

I’ve ordered flowers from M and S for my daughter at University. It’s 3.10pm and they are still sitting in the depot. Customer care tells me I must wait and they deliver until 9pm. I have told them the post room closes at 6pm can they at least let the depot know? No they won’t do that. Fancy leaving flowers all day in a depot as one of the last deliveries?? Absolutely gutted they clearly won’t get there today and will rock up in the stupid van at 8pm tonight to a university post room? Do they think people work all night? Will never get M and S flowers again if they use this terrible company

Worst!! Delivery company ever!!! I would not even give it a one star but had to in order to leave comment. The delivery person left my stuff outside I live in a flat and had a child he would not delivery to my door and leave outside my door because he said he does not want a ticket.

Delivered to parcel to random address over 100 metres away. Didn't leave a card. When I got in touch with their help desk they stated it had been delivered to the right address even though the GPS stamp was 100 metres away. Despite contacting them numerous times their same response was we will get back in touch within 24 hours. I am still waiting 3 weeks later. Absolute rubbish, do not use this courier service.

Twice in less than 18 months I have taken delivery of expensive M & S basket arrangements (£35 +), both of which were presents. They were well packaged and secured in the box but obviously not protected against being chucked around or turned over in spite of being clearly marked "handle with care" and "this way up" as obviously they had been as the plants were out of the soil which was in the bottom of the box. In fact with the first delivery, the cardboard box was badly damaged which probably explains why the Yodel delivery driver rang the bell, dropped it on the mat and practically rang out of the building before I had got the door fully open. On today's delivery, when I explained to the driver I would like to inspect the contents, he didn't seem to be interested, in as much as I could understand his reply. I spoke to Yodel Customer Services who told me they don't deal with complaints(???), but gave me an email address, customerkare etc (me neither) which didn't seem to work anyway. I can't understand why M & S are still using this company, there must be better firms around and I have requested M & S to never send anything to me by Yodel again.

Parcel gone missing. No sign of it. And Yodel unable to provide any evidence of delivery other than that their GPS shows that the driver was here. No note. No parcel. 28 days passed, so then you're out of their dispute period. Gets wiped from the system. End. Wasted precious time on webchat, only for it nto to be followed up. tried again next day, "customer service" said they couldn't even find my parcel and the tracking info was wrong. It was the same info I provided the day before! Tried a new webchat...low and behold they found it. Then just said nothing we can do, 28 days has passed, kindly do one, sir. Not to mention that the webchat doesn't work properly on mobile as the icons for cookies and webchat (ironically) cover up the send and attach buttons. Well done.

Received package which had been cleverly tampered with. As a result I received an empty box - but had no joy getting any compensation from them. Always double check items received from these guys - I learnt the hard way..

I will now purposely not order from any company that uses yodel! The delivery driver knocked and opened my front door. He poked his head in and then quickly closed the door when he saw me through the crack of the door. Pregnant with two children at home we were all very shocked that a stranger had attempted to enter our home!! We looked back on the cameras and not only did he open our front door he chucked our parcel on the doorstep before doing so! Living in a very quiet village I never thought I would have to keep my door locked during the day to avoid delivery drivers letting themselves in! Online chat were absolutely diabolical and could do nothing more than ‘have a word with the driver’ and apologise for the ‘inconvenience’! Absolutely awful
