I wouldn’t buy from Yougarden again I spent over £60 for plants including 2 cherry trees and one of them is dead. I phoned them and was told I would have to pay £6.99 postage for another So I would avoid this company

sent loads of emails after calling ,not happy recieved 3 friut trees apple pear and plum ,they kept asking for photos the last email from RACHEL CHAMBERS wanted me to measure the plum tree showing the measurements as the plum tree is growing far to high at the moment is around 6mtr high should be 2mtr high ,she ashed for photo of label to see size ,reply was just cut down by half ,no replacement ,plus no bloosom or fruit for nearly 2 years ,WILL NOT USE AGAIN ,IF YOU ARE THINKING OF BUYING FROM YOU GARDEN READ REVIEWS FIRST

Plant delivered to wrong address even though all done over the phone. Plant half dead. Customer service had no interest and said keep it 30 days ? No apology or attempt to resolve the issue. When requested a refund as they’d messed up was told I had to pay for the postage to return it?? Disgusting and still no apology or offer to resolve. The plant was meant to go to a sick relative! So angry and ripped off!!!

I ordered this tomato planter from You Garden. It was £39 which seemed a lot but thought it would save me the hassle of watering every day. They took 5 weeks to arrive. I received no information from them about the delay and, of course, it’s now a bit late to use them for tomatoes. I eventually asked them to cancel the order and, surprise surprise, they were suddenly ‘ dispatched.’ What arrived was not what I was expecting. They looked like they had been used and returned. You Garden said that they were new, unused and of good quality. The muck was just from them being stored in a busy nursery and would be easy to wipe down. Which begs the question, why didn’t they they do that before they sent them out in this condition? They were also badly scuffed which the company said were, ‘movement marks’. I found this absolutely insulting. I asked them how they would feel about receiving ‘new’ goods in this condition but they didn’t reply to that comment. I also bought some large potato planters at the same time and they were full of dried on mud. After 5 emails from me asking how we could move forward with my concern they eventually repeated that the planters were new, in unused, condition but would offer me a £5.00 voucher to use on their website on my next purchase. As if I would ever buy anything from them ever again! I have had no apology, just a couple of emails saying there is nothing wrong with them and if I want to return it I must do so at my own expense and they will not refund my postage. I’ve had a few plants from them too which were very hit and miss, for example, I bought 2 hydrangeas and one was fine but the other was dead on arrival, the same with 2 holly plants. But they were generally cheap so I didn’t worry too much and just sucked it up. I know the planter is useable but they’d be in the bargain bin at my local garden centre - which is who will get my custom in future. Shockingly bad customer service, arrogant attitude and obviously no concept of how to generate repeat business. Not only do I not recommend this company I recommend you DO NOT get anything from them. I wish I could have given them zero stars. I have used quickcrop.co.uk who offered excellent goods and excellent customer service, and obviously my local garden centre.

Same as everyone else, not sure if this is a scam company. Paid by paypal so hopefully will get my money back. Do not use this company.

Ordered 15th May, over 3 weeks later still no products received. Mailed on 31/5 to cancel. And the order status suddenly changes to being picked meaning cancellation is impossible according to customer service. 6 days later still not got the order! Customer service still repeat the Mantra "its being picked" so offer no help at all. I was offered the chance to return the order but I had to PAY THE POSTAGE. So cost prohibitive on a small order. I'll be planting small plugs far too late to get a decent plant. What a waste of money. From my experience I wouldn't recommend them due to the uncaring, poor customer service alone.

I placed an order on the 4th May. I queried the order by email 2 weeks later and the response I had was that it was a busy time of year. My thoughts were that they should have realised this when they took the order. The order finally arrived on 2nd June with a dead plant that they charged me £9.99 for. I have not had an answer yet, and from reading these reviews, I won't hold my breath.

Geraldine, Winchcombe Order did not arrive. Was told I would need to send another £20 in addition to the £50 I had already sent. Asked for money back, they agreed but it did not arrive. When I rang to complain, they hung up. 2 Plants subsequently turned up. I am still awaiting the rest of the order. Very poor service, won't use again.

Lesson learned, read the reviews! I thought I was unique having problems with this company. I spent nearly £70 with this company. Lots of difficulties but they still owe me £20.98 for un-delivered goods. Four calls and told each time that a manager would get back to as he would have to check the ‘ticket’ to ensure it was not my fault! Never received such a call back. E-mail has received no reply. Customer service is non- Existent. They were all very nice but are unable to help. Possibly only take orders! Something dreadfully wrong with this company and should be investigated by some trade organisation. Sent some goods not ordered.

Terrible service I have placed an order for the items which are in “stock, ready to be shipped”, a month ago and still haven’t received anything. As it’s stated that delivery time is 7-10 days, Called them after 14 days, and was told that everything is in stock and ready to be shipped and they will push it out. No apologies, they told me that with live plants delays are normal. I called a week later because nothing was shipped and no information supplied. Customer service told me again that everything is in stock, but there are other people ahead of me. When I requested to speak with a supervisor/manager, I was told that there’s no one else I could talk to… I called again 4 weeks after I have placed my order, just to hear the same excuses. No apology no remorse. It is not mentioned anywhere on the website that any delays are expected. I have emailed and called to cancel the order and got no response at all. Do not use this company.

Don't buy off this so called Garden centre. Bought 20 shallots, only 6 were any good, the rest were soggy or totally dried up inside. The waiting time for delivery, well don't get me started. one day they are up for dispatch, the next day were waiting to be picked, and so it went on for a month. Have just received my last order of nemesias, already in bloom, with some of the blooms finished. Would be better going to B@Q's. Wasn't any good complaining, I would have to go through all the dispatch problems all over again. NO THANKS!! Disgusted gardener.

Well i ordered colossal strawberry's that haven't grown any bigger than a 50p, emailed twice with no replies at all, do yourself a favor and go to marshals instead they have been great. Pity you cant do less than 1 star.

Waited three weeks and played email tennis with their team and still got “your order will be shipped shortly” but incapable of actually telling me when it would ship. Fairly confident this is a fraud.

Ordered petunia seeds in bucket. Mar? Called about 3eks ago after following the instructions as nothing showing adv outside daily for about 3wks or so to start germination sill nothing should flower from tel them yesterday and adv. can send a replacement but have to pay £6.99 postage I adv against the law when challenged the lady advised it is not. Surely don’t have to pay about £14. When not my flt!!!! I have contacted Consumer Advice and they have confirmed that in tract You Garden are completely wrong and should in fact be adhering to Consumer Rights doc? 2015 which confirms that I Amon fact entitled to a replacement or full refund including postage. I am not responsible for postal charges for sending any replacement out! Avoid I will be taking this further when I have the time

Placed an order of mini orchards and blueberry plant on 27th April. Delivery stated 7-10 days. Have attempted to contact You Garden since 14th May, no response to emails. It’s now 24th May. No delivery and still no response. Terrible!!

Dreadful service. Ordered on 7 May with website saying allow 7-10 days for delivery. On 23rd still hadn’t received delivery and it hadn’t even been packed! I asked for a refund. I can’t recommend this company and I’d spend your hard earned money somewhere else instead if giving yourself stress chasing them.

Ordered plants a month ago, and nothing else since, sent countless emails & tried ringing, just nobody assisting me, hopefully may get a response from them by doing this... Stay Away...

Absolutely dire company, will take your order even though plants are not ready then you have to wait a month or so for them to grow on, all the while they say either they are being processed or are on the mailing list, they are taking people for fools, well never again. i wish i could give zero stars.

ordered a rose and a clematis, when they arrived the clematis was obviously dying but we thought we'd give it a chance and plant it, the rose looked poorly too. Within a couple of days the clematis was totally dead. When I contacted customer services by email sending a photo I was given instructions on how to plant and grow it which is difficult with a dead plant. After some emailing backwards and forwards I was promised a refund which I am still waiting for 17 days later. Having rung today I am told I have to wait another 10 days for the refund with no real reason given other than it has been requested but not actioned. She then hung up on me. In the meantime the rose has also died. I would never order from this company again. Beware the quality of plants is appalling and the customer service matches this.
