Be careful that you don't keep your card details on their site. They charged me £9.99 when I haven't even tried to place an order since Apr 21. Tried to sort out with their customer service both through messenger and through their online, who eventually admitted it was their error and they would refund. They didn't, so had to go back to credit card and dispute transaction and hope they'll be able to sort out. Was messaged by Makwande, Nokukhanya, Mandisa, Emily R, Matthew A (x2), Harry W and Saul E

Ordered on the 3rd of December so I would receive things in time for Christmas. After a week still said they were processing. When I tried to get a refund WITHIN the 14 day period on their website said they couldn’t and would only give me a refund on one item only because they had sold out. After numerous messages finally said it would be shipped within the next few days. Finally on the 22nd of December the 2 items were shipped. Finally received them on the 10th of January. I contacted fair trade whim said They are a UK run company therefore they can’t assist- do not order from. When asked to write a review said I would ensure everyone knew they were a scam site. Did receive an email to write feedback. It was not positive and their website has a slavery policy at the bottom. BIG RED FLAG.

They take your money for an item in stock, only they don’t have the item to sell. They then refuse to refund. Avoid at all costs.

I placed the order on 26/11/21, and I still haven't received my order yet. 5 messages are sent through the Zavvi webpage, they replied with no point, no actions taken by them, and no staff is trying to sort this out, they all keep their hands off. Really disappointed with the services they provided, keep telling me to wait. Come on, it has been one and a half months passed, enough of waiting! The Zavvi Customer service staff who replied to my message are Mbali, Nothando& Cole, they showed up with horrible customer service, and kicked the ball around and around.

Ordered Lego early December and there's still no sign of it and after reading these reviews I'm not hopeful of ever seeing it or my money.

Horrendous service purchased Lego 31/12 still a no show. Taken money despite saying does get taken till despatched. Lies after lies. Say they going to place a special order well the item is discontinued. Ask for money back now refusing customer service is horrendous never use this company have open a complaint with c/card and going trading standards. Avoid

Ordered Ghostbusters jacket on the 22/11/21 & to this day, order stays says ‘awaiting dispatch’. I have contacted them many times and they reply with a different excuse. My favourite one was ‘I hope I appreciate how busy they are’ this is a month of waiting. Never will order from them again. I asked them to refund my money and they refused. Terrible company and they should be shut down!

Returned a brand new unopened item. It's showing as being delivered but still no refund processed..... When I query this I'm told once it's received by the warehouse I will be refunded.... Have sent proof of postage and proof of it being signed for at their end.... Still no refund! Poor customer service and I will NEVER use them again. Have now raised a VISA dispute as it's the only way I think I'll get my money back

ordered 2 Christmas jumpers on the 3rd December for Christmas, it is now the 31st December and one has arrived today - they are both the EXACT same jumper just different sizes- what is the point of a Christmas jumper arriving on 31.12.21 - and then with only one in the package?

Terrible service advertising items in stock and available to ship so ordered. After chasing them a few times they then tell me they are out of stock and awaiting a date from the suppliers. let’s see if I ever get the items order DONT BUY FROM ZAVVI

Ordered a lego set for dad's birthday and paid next day delivery because the website said this would be fine. Next day no parcel, so I spoke to Zavvi and was told the item would be with me within 3-5 days. This wasn't what I paid for and the reason for next day was I wouldn't be at home to recieve it and the birthday was fast approaching. I then asked for a change of address and was told no I would have to be there to get it. The customer service is terrible even when I escalated it to a complaint they still don't cair. I will never use Zavvi again and hope anyone reading this won't either they are a joke

Sharp practice. Bought Lego Millenium Falcon on the 7th Dec, and two weeks later I found out it's out of stock and Zavvi are now blaming the supplier! Looks like they never had it in stock when I ordered it! Now 7 days later can't call them, their live chat isn't working and no effort to reply properly to my messages on their comments page. Messenger messages are replied to every 24 hrs or so as my replies obviously go back into the 'queue'! Said they will refund 3 days ago (if successful???) and I would get an email confirmation. 3 days later no email confirming my refund. It's now Christmas Eve. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY> THEY CANNOT BE TRUSTED>

My story is the same as everyone’s here. Still not posted eve though I ordered a week before their ‘Last date for xmas delivery’. After saying I want to cancel they are just no longer replying after three emails over three weeks. Who knows if I’ve lost £60…

Terrible company. Ordered a lord of the rings blanket on the 10th December as my son had put one on his Christmas list. Was hesitant to order after reading the bad reviews but couldn't find another company selling one and thought I would take a chance at £15 as item was in stock. 2 days before Christmas and item hasn't been dispatched and is still being processed. Have chased up countless times (don't get me started on the terrible customer service) and still no item. They are waiting for the supplier to send the stock apparently. If they had told me this when I first chased up delivery, I could have cancelled the order. Will never order from Zavvi again.

Absolutely terrible. Possibly the worst experience I've had with a company. Brought lego. They sent the wrong item to me. Now the lego item I wanted is out of stock. Ruined Christmas and spoke to over 30 staff who NEVER your questions. Can't call them. You can't email them. No online chat. The only way to sort out mistakes and problems is through their website which is a broken mess! AVOID.

Ordered 2 items for Christmas should have arrived by 12th December, but 10 days later my items are still be processed with no sign of despatch. Wish I'd read the reviews before buying ordering do yourselves a favour and look for something different on another sit😡😡😡

Wrong items dispatched. 10% offer for compensation. Months late for delivery. 1-2 promotional emails per day. Some items without tracking number. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Horrendous! They have taken money 3 weeks ago for my son’s Christmas present from Santa and no present! Apparently out of stock but they took my money regardless. Now unable to buy it from elsewhere as they have my money. Will never use again and will tell everyone to avoid!
