Terrible service. They state same day payments however it's been 2 days. 3 emails have been sent and 2 phone calls. There now saying I'll need to wait till Monday for payment. That means it's going to take them 5 days to make payment. False advertising. I never would of sold you my phone this close to Christmas if I had known you clearly lie.

I am extremely unhappy with the service at envirofone. I ordered an Iphone X but was delivered an 8 plus. It was very difficult to convince them they had made a mistake and I was even told I would be lying. Quick replacement was out of the question. Now I am in a process in which they have to find the fault in their system until I can be delivered what I originally payed for. Completely untrustworthy!

Really fast service, they sent the box within about one day after I put my device up for sale, and as soon they received my device the same day they deposited my money into my bank account!

I have used trustpilot twice this year. Both times they have dragged their heels and delayed payment. The first time they made the offer, it was accepted and due to be paid by BACS. They then refused because my account was set to my business address they wouldnt proceed without with me invoicing them from my business as it was my business account i had requested the funds to be sent to. They insisted that I had to deduct the VAT from their offer price (not clearly stated anywhere in their terms). I did this, and then eventually - 3 days later than proposed they then paid. This caused over a weeks delay in obtaining payment. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and a month later I then sold my own personal phone using the same account (because i am always at work, it makes sense to have it set up to my work address for sending/recieveing the materials requested). I instead asked for a cheque to be made to me personally. It has now been 37 days since the sale date. I have recieved no funds. The case is listed as closed. I have called approximately 12-15 times. I have spoken to many members of staff. Everytime I am told it is an issue with accounts / finance and that no I can't speak with them and that no unfortunately there are no supervisors available to speak with me. Yes it has been assigned to a team leader, but no he is busy/in a meeting/at lunch/in the corridor/heading to finance as we speak to get an update! At every opportunity I have been lied to, mislead, and decieved. It is £47! Not a fortune by any means! I am appalled by the way I have been treated. I am told everyday that I call that i will be called back. Only on one occassion have i had a call and it was just to tell me that there was no update. It isnt hard - you have my property, you committed to pay me for it, write a cheque, post it and voila - complete. This week I have called everyday as I prefer to give a company every possible opportunity to resolve issues before going to the reviews and social media platforms. I hav e been met with more excuses, apathy and disregard. I have been promised a return call from the 'team leader' every day this week. Yet to receive a single call. I will not let this go, and I would issue warning to anyone using envirofone. When it works it works well. When it goes wrong they have no ability to do anything about it down to even simple communications! I will be avoiding at all costs upon conclusion of this saga.

I purchased a Google Pixel 3XL described as good condition. When the phone arrived there were 4 deep impact marks on the side which were clearly not mentioned in the description. The phone works fine. I brought this to the attention of Envirofone and they have refused to alter the selling price even though there is clear evidence the phone was improperly described.

Phone dispatched was not the Phone I bought. Something wrong in the system somewhere. Envirophone customer service refuse point blank to admit any fault, claiming I've somehow accidentally ordered a phone locked to a different network. Appalling. Leaves me with a mess to sort out, returning the unwanted package at my own expense. AVOID

I purchased a refurbished phone, it was corrupted and unusable. Sent it back and no apology, no communication, refusal to send a replacement and very very rude on the phone. Terrible customer service, apparently it takes 2 weeks to get a refund! I suspect its going to be a battle getting my refund given the attitude and rudeness of the 'customer service' advisors. They refuse to call you back or handle a complaint. After seeing dozens of similarly terrible reviews I am convinced this is a scam company who sell stolen phones and hang on to your money for as long as they can to make interest on it. Avoid like the plague!

Envirofone supplied me with 'refurbished' phone with a completely flat battery. I can see from other reviews that returning the phone and receiving a refund is going to prove challenging to say the least. I have already faced difficulties in communicating with them. An extraordinary statement, highlighted in red writing, from their warranty company, states that they won't refund or replace phones unless the claim is made within one month of purchase. This company appear to be scammers, not answering emails, supplying faulty phones etc. I fear I have lost my money.

I bought an Iphone X from them last year and only last month it stopped working, I called EE as this phone was locked to their network before, they said this phone was reported stolen and is blacklisted (on the same date the phone stopped working!) I had the phone sent to envirofone, they sent it to we insure tech, they claimed that we tampered the software, and accussed us of reporting the phone as stolen?? I dont even know how thats possible. They refused to give my refund. They blocked my number and asked for only emails to communicate. I bought a second hand phone that has been refurbished so I am not the legal owner of this phone. How would I have reported my own phone stolen when it was with me the whole time? They blame their customers to avoid giving a refund, I payed over 500 pounds and this is how they treat customers buying goods from them. DO NOT BUY , IT IS A SCAM

Absolutely disgusted that my daughter was sold a faulty phone and there “nothing”Envirofone will do to support her. £400 of her own money and the phone will not hold a charger. Disgusting service would never advise anyone to buy from there.

Sent my phone back as it occurred a tech fault after 5 months. What a hassle. Took nearly a month for them to reply to emails regarding where to send to- sent it off recorded signed and insured ( thank god) had an email to say my phone was still locked and to delete the iCloud ( which I did) well 3 months later they are now saying they don’t have the phone and that I sent it to the wrong department etc, no phone calls only when I have called to ask what’s happening etc. Have sent an email to say I want a refund. Never again!!

There seems to be a lot of similar reviews for this company unfortunately! Recieved a quote of £155 for samsung Galaxy S8+, accepted quote and sent off the immaculate phone (this had been kept in the best condition possible due to a phone case and screen protector always being on), I also paid to have it recorded delivery and used bubble wrap in addition to the packaging supplied by envirophone only to be quoted £38 when they recieved the phone!!! When this was challenged over the phone they then "revised" this to £78, when I questioned on what basis would they give these prices when I was quoted £155 she advised that was what came up on her computer!!!? Safe to say I asked for my phone to be returned in the excellent condition it was sent in and have now sold it elsewhere for £150, please do not use!!!

They made an offer for an old phone, which we accepted. They sent some very flimsy packaging that they insisted we use, then claimed the phone was broken (it wasn't) and refused to pay. Advise you to find any other company to recycle your phone.

Bought a lovely oneplus 3 in great condition, really happy with it until i realised you could only make and receive calls with the speakerphone turned on.Not ideal for private calls. Sent it in to weinsuretech (warranty provider) who sent me photos taken under a microscope of "damage" where i had "dropped" it( been in a gel case with glass screen prot since the day i got it. Tried to explain the problem, common problem on that model easily checked on forums, got shown same pictures and a refusal to repair AND charged £9 to get the phone back. After a heated exchange with envirofone they agreed to send out a returns pack costing me ANOTHER £7.50 to send to them. Hoping i get my refund. How can they employ a warranty on second hand tech that immmediately implies the customer is trying to swindle THEM? I wont ever use them again and would advise anyone to think long and hard, the warranty is worthless and you will fail at the first hurdle!

Sent in my old phone, an immaculate Sony Xperia X, 3 years use it barely had any scratches. I was offered £20 and they revised it to £5 because "the screen was hanging off the phone". I don't think so, I just wish I had been smart enough to photo it before I sent it as now they'll probably damage it and send it back. Not happy!

Sent in an immaculate iPhone 7. Offered £130 less than the offer price after Envirofone claimed the screen was damaged and also had white spots on. Fortunately, I had taken photographs before I sent the phone evidencing its pristine condition which is at variant to the description of the phone they are claiming to have received. Concerningly, there are many reviews on multiple sites from the last 7 dates claiming the same, far too many to be a coincidence and suggesting that there is dishonesty at play in order to obtain fully working goods by deception. Such a shame as have used Envirofone before with no issues but something clearly is going on of late as per reviews. Would highly recommend people do not send in their phones at this current time. I will of course amend if the matter is resolved.
