Prestigia is a SCAM. They offer free cancellation when you book but actually don’t in the fine print. You cannot actually call and speak to anyone and they dance around responses in email replies. DO NOT BOOK THROUGH PRESTIGIA….rip offs. Worst experience!!! They take your money!

This is a scam!!!! DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THEM! I booked a hotel in Paris and tried to change my reservation. Called their service line twice, wrote to customer service. They don't answer requests and I have no idea if I have a reservation at all.

Booked room for Las Vegas, there was a mistake in the reservation, so I requested cancelation. I am not sure if the mistake was on my end or theirs. I told them that I wanted refund as free cancelation was offered. I was told it would take a month to get it back to my card - instantly charged the card but a month to put it back?? I called the property, and they never had a reservation under my name. They charged me for a reservation that DID NOT EXIST!!! I called the US number and I get no help as their Customer Service flat out refused ANY type of assistance. Everything done through email and they have now stopped all contact with me. I have called the credit card company to have the charge canceled by opening a case. Even though their price might look enticing - DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! 100% FRAUD!!!!! Fingers crossed that I get my money back. More scared that they have my information.

Horrible service. Do not ever use this company, it is a scam. They say you will get a 100% refund if you cancel but they do not allow you to cancel. All contact numbers are international. When you call there is a 30-60 minute wait time and the customer service rep hangs up when you finally get through.

DO NOT EVER BOOK A HOTEL ON THIS WEBSITE! They say that the booking is a 100% free of charge cancellation and then, if you cancel it, they will only offer credits on their website. It's not easy to use the credits, you have to call an agent by phone to book your trip, you cannot even do it by yourself directly on the website. Prestigia is pretty much the only website that offer free cancellation and don't refund you on your credit card. I had to contest the transaction with my bank for 2 hotel rooms and it worked after a few months but it was complicated. You should consider booking your trip with Agoda or SnapTravel, they will refund you on your credit card right away if you have to cancel your free cancellation booking.

The worst experience I've had so far. Don't book hotel via this website. I booked a hotel in Miami like one month in advance. One week before my trip, I got an email from Prestigia that they were not able to confirm my reservation and they can cancel it or change it to another hotel. However, the new hotel where they offered me was a cheap hotel far from beach with low review score. I had to totally cancel my reservation and since it is now close to my trip, and its high season, all the prices have been gone up. It is not a reliable website and I hope to get my money back at least.

Save yourself the headache and book elsewhere--a nightmare experience!! First, they double charged my booking, claiming it to "my error", as if someone would book two identical hotel stays at the same time. Even though it was clearly a result of their poor technical infrastructure, they said the refund would take 3 months and I personally had to keep pushing for this to happen sooner (ended up taking ~6 weeks). Then my reservation was CANCELED, I spent DAYS trying to figure out why and they had no answer, only to say "well it was resolved eventually".. after I myself spent time on the phone with the hotel and customer service to figure it out. Had I not had an urge to call my hotel and confirm the reservation, I would have had nowhere to stay upon arrival. In conclusion, absolutely terrible experience using Presitiga.

I booked a reservation on 5/20/20 and was charged on 5/21/20 for a reservation in October. Because of COVID plans changed. I cancelled on 8/28/20 well before the October 6/20/220 deadline for it to be free cancellation. I still have not received a refund. I can not talk to anyone, I’ve been first in line on the telephone for for an hour and thirty minutes. Banging my head against the wall on this one. Guess I got screwed - buyer beware C.Kenner

They took my money and when my husband and ai arrived at the hotel we paid for it had been out of business since before the pandemic. The company and the hotel will not answer the phone even though I was the next caller. I can't believe people are capable of this. It is disgusting. We were hundreds of miles from home. They even went out of their way to write a review about the hotel from 3 weeks ago and 10 months ago... It has not been open since the very beginning of 2020.

I would give this company a zero if I could. I canceled my reservation for a summer hotel stay IN MARCH 2020. I was told to be understanding that due to the pandemic it would take up to 120 days to process my refund. When no refund was received I was told it would take 6 months. After 11 months and my persistence with emails, they said to send them banking information for a wire transfer which I did. It has been over a year and I still have not received a refund. Apparently, my information has been with the accounting department for some time. They do not answer their phones! The US branch goes through the motions of telling you what number caller you are periodically throughout the hold music, but when the music finally stops you sit through silence for about 10 minutes before it finally hangs up on you. This year I booked my hotel through the hotel website and then used the price on prestigia to get a price match guarantee from the hotel. I will never book through this company again.

A SCAM - DO NOT USE!!!! If you also had a negative experience, please report them to econsumer.gov. I just started an investigation, so mentioning the existence of other investigations on Prestigia will help! I have also notified Kayak of this situation (since they led me to Prestigia). I booked a 5-night stay through Prestigia in Miami after my flight was canceled. At check-in, the hotel said they couldn't find my reservation, and that the 3rd party had canceled the reservation the same day they made it. I was left without a hotel at 9pm on a weeknight. I called and emailed Prestigia, but wasn't able to reach them for another 24 hours. I was forced to book another hotel while I waited for Prestigia to figure out the "missing" reservation. They made me wait for the entire duration of my stay (5 days) while they "investigated" the issue. I had to book new hotels every single morning for the rest of my stay. After a week of investigation, after my stay at Miami was over, they informed me that "they weren't the ones who made the cancellation", but also didn't know who had made the cancellation. They now refuse to give me my money back, and are also refusing to take responsibility for the added stress and financial loss. THEY ARE A SCAM. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Total scam Do not use! If you cancel your trip with them even when they state that cancelations are accepted, they never refund your money. I have now been waiting more then 3 months to get my money back for a reservations I had canceled with them a month prior to the travel date. Do not use them

I didn't fully read the reviews. So when I found out that they shafted a lot of people I cancelled my reservation(THAT DIDN'T EVEN EXIST) Timeline went a little like this: 2/6/21- made the reservation 2/7/21- cancelled the reservation 2/11/21- received my refund Yes, they gave me my money back. After I told them I knew they were fraudulent annd me telling them I would email them EVERY DAY, one word per email until they did. They processed it REALLY FAST.

I too was scammed by them. I made a reservation through them, they took my money and never made the reservation. And they will not return my money so I have to file a dispute. Does anyone know who to report them to so they can be stopped?

It`s pure SCAM this company, I did a reservation in their website and after that called the hotel to confirm it and it was not there also the hotel told me that the website is not registered as their partners. No one answer the phone from customer service, it says is unavailable. DO NOT PURCHASE THERE

BAD BAD BAD. DO NOT USE. IT APPEARED TO BE CHEAP RATES TO TRICK YOU. Cancelled your hotel bookings at last minutes claiming it was a technical glitch and still hasn't refunded for more than 5 months since early July 2020. Prestigia is a complete disgrace to the travel industry and to its nation. DO NOT USE.

Avoid Prestigia They will steal your money I Made a reservation for las vegas in July to travel in November, which was refundable. I cancelled my hotel booking in September 2020. I called and emailed Prestigia more than 10 times. Prestigia still hasn’t refunded me with $1753. It has been more than three months. No one answers the phone in the USA claiming it’s COVID. Booked the hotel on their website that was actually closed down. Good I have contacted the hotel directly before hand and was able to made different arrangements for my family. I have cancelled the booking following day and informed them about the situation. It has been over a month since I was promised money to be refunded. They emailing back with the same excuse that the waiting for their accounts dept to clear the payment. Shocking experience with the agent with no Abta based in Morocco.
