Ordering the bed no problems. It all went wrong on the day of delivery. Delivery was 2hrs later than predicted by using they tracking app. Bed finally arrives, boxes and mattress thrown into room. When we open all the boxes there was no instructions on how to assemble the bed, i went online to download the information but website said not available. I then rung the shop where we ordered the bed from and finally after 4hrs and many phone calls they finally emailed me the information needed, and that was because i refused to hang up until i got the email i needed.

Worst purchase experience ever Bought two king size mattresses and a bunk bed with trundle (and three respective mattresses) in May. Expected delivery 6 to 8 weeks, which worked for me. One mattress was delievered relatively promptly (from an external supplier, as I understand). The rest was scheduled to be delivered on 14 July. On that day no delivery was made and I called customer services. Spent a long time waiting to eventually talk to an assistant who didn't seem to care and who told me I wasn't going to receive my furniture because one (more?) of the items hadn't reached their warehouse. They couldn't split the delivery of my order nor could they give me an expected delivery date. From that day onwards it's been a saga - I've written numerous emails (they haven't replied) and tried Twitter at some point. They seem to reply there, but the answers are vague, unhelpful and often inaccurate. The social media team say they can't sort your problem if you've ordered online (!!!!). I was getting distressed: no furniture, and more than 2K in their hands with no idea of when (if) I was ever going to get my furniture or my money back. At the end ofJuly I sent an email to cancel the item that I believed to be the outstanding one - no reply as expected. Until someone on Twitter suggested emailing the CEO. I did that yesterday, acompanying an email requesting the cancellation of all my order. In a few hours I had the cancellation sorted and my refund processed. Pathetic. It's been very stressful and I do not recommend any business with them. Ever.

Non existent customer service. Cancelled the order after waiting over 2 months Over an hour on hold every time we had to chase the order. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SHOP!!

This company is a joke, waited 6mths for a bed to be delivered, cost over £1500, only recieved a headboard and matterss "NO BASE" called customter service and a complete joke, Totally unprofessional, had to wait on the line for over 40 mins. I am not surprised there are so busy. tried calling the shop that I bought it from and just didnt care. you get better service from Ebay sellers. Never buy again from here.

Terrible company, terrible customer service. They don’t tell you about the 2 month wait for the bed until after you’ve paid. I had called them to change the delivery date then specifically took leave on this date so I could be home. They ended up changing the date without notice. Just to call them to clarify took ages because they were not putting me through to anyone to speak to and when i finally was able to talk to someone, they (conveniently for them) said they didn’t record my last phone call with them to change the date (despite the automated message saying the call was being recorded) so can’t confirm if what I am saying is right. I would not recommend anyone buy from here and will stay far away from this company in the future

Terrible service and mattresses that fail after 4 months and the worst customer service ever. They dont care once they grab your money. Dont purchase from bensons/dreams. Go to a reputable local mattress supplier.

Wouldn't touch them with a barge pole! Don't waste your time or money. If I could give a 0 star rating I would.. Placed an order for a child's bed on 17th May 2020. Website said, up to 28 working days delivery. With the whole situation I was prepared to wait a little longer. Fast forward 2 months, I have a delivery date of 29th July 2020. A week before, they cancel and reschedule for 10th August. 10th August comes, doesn't arrive. I call them and get told it's rescheduled for 21st September!! 4.5 months for a bed? They also accuse their customers of being liars and say they never gave delivery dates but I've got emails AND text messages that state otherwise. Never buy from them! They were due to go in to liquidation... Probably the best option for all with their disgusting customer service!

We ordered a wardrobe in February it was cancelled by them due to covid 19 we received delivery on the 4th of august but they are refusing collection they said if it was over the phone or online order they would do a refund cause it was in the shop they won’t refund us our money they sent the wrong colour so that should be a reason for a refund wouldn’t recommend this company and we won’t be going back

The worst company I have ever dealt with... I ordered a wardrobe which would take 6 weeks delivery and had a confirmation delivery date by email and telephone 2 days prior to delivery.. I took a day off work and booked a joiner to install the wardrobe and literally at 7.30 pm the evening before delivery the company left a voicemail on my home telephone line stating that they would not be delivering and would be in touch when they could deliver... I rang the number the next morning and spoke to I very rude women who said basically they couldn't help it! NEVER have I dealt with such an unprofessional company and shocking customer services..

Bought a mattress after explaining I had arthritis in the hips -was recommended to buy a hard one NoCRM 4 , after contless nights of no sleep , I eventually got them to agree an exchange under their sleep guarantee process - after having to prove I was registered disabled - the new mattress was scheduled for delivery on 17/04/2020 - that never happened - they contacted me on 22 june to say delivery would be on 2 july between 07hrs & 13.oo hrs , they phoned me at 08.00hrs that day to say no delivery as they "could not find my mattress " - after sending 40 + emails , they have told me " they have no idea " when my mattress will even be manufactured let alone delivered . S , they are sitting on £1074 of my money whilst the mattress is propped against the wall of my bedroom whilst I sleep on an airbed !!! Unbelievable !! It is now 118 days since original delivery date & 42 days since the rescheduled date - they will not refund my money - nor can they give me "any idea" when the mattress will be available , their words - not mine . Stay the hell away from these shysters - they are abysmal - avoid like a plague . Harry Hume northampton NN4 0TJ

Bought a £4000 bed from Benson for beds, after 4 months the slates keep popping out of there plastic joint making the mattress dip, told wrong size slates are to blame but must pay £48 for an independent inspector to assess the situation first, after asking why do we have to pay for an inspector to see your faulty and incorrect sent product, was told thats the law!! Absolute joke, recommend buying else where.

Bought the iGel Mattress and Bed along with iGel pillows. 1700quid of my hard earned cash, normally change my mattress every 3 to 4 year, plus the iGel was sold on the basis of regulating body temperature. After our 1st nights sleep it was like sleeping in a hammock, certainly not the same comfort level as the bed we tried on the shop, phones bensons as mattresses is dipping. They send out an inspector who agreed and told my partner that the mattress was dipping and clearly stated this. He submitted the report to bensons who never even had the decency to phone, anyway, I kept saying I'd phone them tomorrow, however, once I eventually did they told me the inspectors report stated there was nothing wrong with the mattress. This inspetror lay all over the bed, even the pictures I submitted with a pole across the bed clearly showing the dip clearly wasn't enough, this has been an ongoing issue for over a year now. The worst and most expensive bed I've ever purchased and the worst sleep I've ever had, ohhh and the iGel gimmick that clinched the deal was meant to regulate my wife's body temperature as she's at a certain age in life actually increased her temp during the night. One very unhappy customer, the saga continues...

Very quick to take my money !!! Have Telephones at least 6 times each call , having to wait approximately 40mins to speak to someone. Every advisor tells you something different!!! I have also emailed at least 4 times and only had 2 automated reply’s telling me they will be in touch within 5 working days. However 10 days on and still no reply. Absolutely the worst after sales I have ever endured !! I just want to cancel my order and , they have made it the most difficult and stressful time ever. I certainly would never use this or sister company’s ever again !!

AWFUL COMPANY - SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!!!! Purchased two bedside drawer units, a separate drawer unit and a flatpack wardrobe with 2 additional inner shelves, everything went fine at first, delivery arrived as promised and delivery team put items into my bedroom, strangely the separate drawer unit had been put with the drawers against the wall so my partner and I had to struggle to lift them and turn them around - at this point I cut my hand open on rough wood (the bottom of the drawer unit was damaged and the delivery guys obviously knew and purposely placed it back to front to hide it until they had left). I immediately rang Customer services who apologised and said another drawer unit would be ordered but would be 6 weeks before it arrived. 6 weeks later new drawer unit arrives and as delivery team left I removed the protective wrapping and discovered a huge scratch on one of the drawers. They had taken the other drawer unit away which had perfect drawers so I immediately rang them (I had their number as they had rang earlier to say they were on their way) and told them one of the drawers was damaged so could I change it with one of the drawers they had just collected and they refused and told me to ring Customer Services. I even offered to go to their next delivery location if they told me where it was to swop the drawers but they refused. Spoke to Customer Services and had to wait another 6 weeks for a replacement drawer unit! Totally disgusting service and will never use them again!!!

Ordered a mattress during lock down, so had to wait months for it (no issue really due to what is going on the world). When the delivery day finally arrived, I discovered they had sent me the wrong one. Calls to customer service on the day after 90 minutes on hold only to be told to email in. I emailed to explain the issue and that I didn't have room in my house for the wrong mattress, so it had been placed in our garden (with the plastic cover on). Further follow up calls on my part after they failed to respond, only to be told that if the wrong mattress that they delivered was damaged in any way as a result of being left outside, they wouldn't deliver a new one and I would be stuck with it. Complete joke as I didn't create the issue. Still waiting for the actual mattress I ordered to be delivered.

worst i have dealt with had 2 exchange beds now getting refund but wont pay out for 30days they need bed back before refund will be sorted what do you sleep on until money is back joke of a place dont buy from here no comeback whats so ever

5 year warranty not worth the paper it’s written on. Admitted my mattress had issues but still wanted me to get an independent assessor and pay up to £100 to prove - even after submitting 11 photographs clearly showing fault. I will continue to prop up the subsided mattress with pillows underneath, then will buy one from elsewhere. Take my advice, go elsewhere.

Ordered and paid for 2x divan beds with mattresses this morning, only to be told that there was a pricing error and I could pay another £1750 or have a refund in 3-5 working days. No apology, no discount offered. Absolutely disgraceful. I would never touch this company again.

I bought an adjustable bed in october 2019. Everything was fine until march 2020 when the adjustable part broke down. I expected a speedy repair but i got nothing.i sent numerous messages by email and i telephoned customer services. It took one and a half hours to get an answer who promptly said i was not the account holder so she could not help. I was furious at that stage but eventually she agreed to call my wife at work and get permission for me to complain. This was obviously given. I explained what had happened but the i was told to photograph what was wrong. I explained i was a wheelchair user and could not manage to photograph under the bed. This was accepted. However its now nearly august some six months without my adjustable bed and i find the latest excuse of Fermanac the supplier is on holiday and cant be contacted until the 10th august. An aquatance tells me that furmanac have also gone out of business so i probably have no luck there. My family came yesterday and took the bed up so i could see what was wrong and quite frankly there are just wooden slats and wooden pegs for legs. The mechanism is just plastic rubbish that snapped and broken in use, not by any impact. It’s so flimsy it’s ridiculous and obviously not fit for purpose. I now want a full refund

Customers should not be told their product is covered for 5 years in my instance against any defects when in fact it's 0nly 6 after that it's down to customer to get a report and repair and pay for it then send it to Benson customer services who will if your lucky reimburse you but when asked how long that would take no answer was available i will never purchase another thing from them
