Absolutely awful. We ordered our bed and firm mattress in January, they arrived in February. I suppose we're `lucky' they actually arrived! Within a week the mattress had sunk and we have 2 body shapes dips in the mattress. Then the bed started creaking and squeaking. We got someone from Bensons to inspect it as we werent happy and wanted to exchange it.... His response was priceless - it's our fault because we've sat on the edge of the bed!!! 😂 How are you meant to get into your bed!!! DO NOT BUY FROM BENSONS. AVOID AVOID AND TELL EVERYONE ELSE TO AVOID TOO!!!

Bought a 4 drawer Bergen chest delivery 3 March along with other matching pieces. On assembly found that one base was broken and the cut for the drawer base on 2 of the drawers had been cut the whole length of the drawer fronts, so the unit has obvious cuts in it when viewed side on. Rang customer services who over the course of an hour and 15 minutes re-ordered part by individual part (I’m talking glue tube x 1, dowels, screws, handles, sides ...etc etc etc). Asked why not replace the whole unit and was told no, company policy to replace the bits. Covid delayed replacement understandably THEN they tell me they’ve decided to replace the entire unit but I can’t have it! Reason - until restrictions lifted to allow pick up of faulty goods due to covid I can’t have my new one either. FFS the first one can’t be re-sold - it’s a mess!! 3 out of 6 pieces ordered were either damaged or faulted and trying to deal with this company needs nerves of steel. If you’re buying from B4B after reading all of these woeful reviews please buy a blood pressure monitor at the same time. Whole debacle took from 3 March to 3 August.

Dreadful company. Water damaged goods on delivery van (wardrobe), advised by crew to fail delivery, then replacements delayed due Covid, replacement eventually received after hounding them, but only 4 of 5 parts, part 5 turns up weeks later. Due to this and other problems with other pieces B4B offer me Homeserve to assemble. Long wait (weeks) for Homeserve to turn up, only to find part 5 is not for our wardrobe. Now unpackaged 4 boxes of wardrobe parts dumped in room along with someone else’s 5th box. Move on more time and Part 5 ‘found’. Can’t get Homeserve back until September. Went beserk with local store who found a local company to assemble but Customer Services refuse to pay them. Don’t use B4B - they’ve got great sales people in store but after that you take your chances - buyer be very aware. This isn’t a one off. 3 March to 3 August of total chaos and unresponsive and useless customer services. Reading these reviews I’m just pleased I bought my beds elsewhere!

If I could give a 0 star review I would. Bought a mattress after confirming the terms of the “40 night comfort guarantee” with the store staff in case I didn’t like it after a few nights. Received it back in January. After a few nights it was hotter than the Sahara, so waited the number of days required under the guarantee before requesting to return it. They asked for photos to prove no stains, marks etc. Provided and they confirmed they were happy with that. But then. Months of back and forth with customer services got me nowhere. Eventually when store reopened after COVID I went and demanded the exchange be processed. They eventually agreed. Two months later the delivery day arrived - text to confirm driver on route, but then no delivery. No explanation as to why. Phoned customer services to be told they had no idea at all where the mattress was. And that delivery texts were automated/don’t mean anything. Am throwing the £700 mattress in the skip even though I can’t afford to take the hit because my patience has worn out and I need a proper nights sleep. Will buy a new mattress from a real company who actually fulfil orders after receiving payment and don’t treat their customers like dirt. TLDR: Contractural obligations mean nothing to this company. Avoid like the plague or you will be as furious and frustrated, not to mention considerably poorer, as all these other people.

Worst ever customer service! Ordered our new bed on 29 February, for delivery on 28 March. The delivery was cancelled when lockdown heppened. We have spent hours trying to contact the customer service via email (very minimal responses) and phone calls (long wait and poor responses. Finally our bed arrived on 12th August. We’re not happy about long delay and terrible customer service. Not sure how long will our bed last...

Waited 3 month for a mattress and when it eventually arrived it was damaged we did not accept it. Contacted Customer service which took 45 minutes each time they put the phone down without talking after first call, could not give a date of replacement or even estimation all that was offered was a good will gesture that I could claim once I received my new mattress. I then researched to see if others had, had problems and they'd been treated the same or worse and it was taking months to get money back. I had emailed the CEO which was ignored along with other emails to customer services and in the end I got a response through Facebook messaging. I also sent email to Which etc as they are investigating this company and did a charge back through my bank as Bensons tried to say it would take at least 30 days to get a refund. I now have my money back within 10 days and I will not use this company again or recommend them it's a shame as the initial research on this company was goid when I ordered

Absolute disgrace of a company l! Spent months being lied to and ignored after spending £2100 on a bed and £400 on a wardrobe! The bed came and I’m having problems with the split mattress as my side is dipping about 4cm in the centre! As for the wardrobe never came due to Covid-19 although ordered in January 2020. Once we had paid the companies attitude changed. We were given a firm delivery date which apparently can only be done once stock is in! Like most people complaining on Facebook I spent hours on the telephone and often cut off after 45 minutes. One customer service lady told my wife she was a liar and she was only going on fact not fiction? My wife who is an NHS ICU nurse was absolutely amazed and upset by this statement and left it to me to take it further. I was told we would get a full refund and compensation but again this was a lie. Eventually I had to raise a complaint with my bank who retrieved the money for the wardrobe. Bensons Beds clearly took customers money online with no stock to deliver and holding on to the money for as long as possible. I’m writing to my MP to highlight this company’s practice and supplying evidence to support my complaint.

The first mattress we got had huge dips in it and was leaning to the side, (we’re not heavy people either) we put up with it for three years, the mattress had a five year guarantee so we finally sent photos to Bensons for beds customer service, we were to told we had to have, and pay for, an independent review as it was more than 6 months after purchase, the review confirmed as faulty, we claimed, and got, the money back for the review. Was told to choose a new mattress and base as the one I had originally was discontinued. I only wanted a replacement mattress as the base was fine, customer service were having none of it, they said because it was bought as a set it all had to be replaced, three phone calls later, they weren’t budging, the customer service assistant would not let me speak to a manager, she said “we’re trained to deal with complaints” she wasn’t dealing with it very well, I insisted I wanted to speak to a manager, I was put on hold for a few minutes and when the assistant came back she said the manager had refused to speak to me! Anyway, we went into store and chose another mattress, and reluctantly chose a new base, delivery was due on 27th March, because of Covid-19 the order was cancelled two days before the delivery date, eventually got the mattress and base four months later and the base was damaged! Most annoying as the base we had to send back was perfectly fine. Have been told a new base has been ordered but nothing heard since. I only hope we don’t have any problems with the new mattress. I can not and will not recommend this company, the customer service is the worst I have ever encountered and the products are sub standard, unfortunately I cannot leave a 0 or minus star review.

We bought a divan base and headboard and the base was broken on delivery (good headboard though). Felt like I was sleeping on a slope. After battling for months and getting nowhere, we got rid of the bed. To get it in the car, we had to chop it up. The top of the base wasn't wooden, as you would expect, it was CARDBOARD. On a BED. Absolute disgrace of a company and ill warn off anyone I can!

If could I would not give one star made order on line. Was giving a delivery date for only half the order the delivery date came an nothing tried to call cs an no one was available to answer call. I work monday to Friday 8-6 cs only monday to friday 9-5. Went to store in aintree were was told nothing we can do. Went back later made them cancell the order good job we done it with finance as dont know how we would have got money back. We had no communication apart from email to confirm order and email order date an a text stating time. I've had to call to see about the 2and half of the order. Just awful

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I had a 4.5 month wait for delivery of a bed and mattress. Then they delivered a broken bed and claim they lost the mattress in transit on two occasions. After nearly 6 months of many phone calls, complaint emails and lots of contradicting excuses from them, I demand a refund. Wish I had read reviews before I ordered from them. Only gave one star because I had no option to leave zero. Please don’t waste your time, energy or money. Shop local, I eventually did and got what I wanted in a week.

Do not spend your money here, the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. Call center staff who do not care a single bit at the fact your child has no bed to sleep in. Still waiting on a Refund a month and a half after I told them I wanted to return the product. No communication whatsoever. No apologies for the fact they sold me a bed that has a huge warning on the box and a sticker on the bed saying not suitable for under 4 year olds, and this was not stated anywhere on the website. One customer service girl said "it's not a warning, it's more of an advisory statement, like when you buy something thats best before, you can still eat it after the date". Erm no, when it arrived we can see that there is a massive risk to a smaller child due to a large gap down the side and some other dangerous issues. It clearly states warning. Im not going to put my 2 year olds life at risk of suffocating in her sleep thank you. Every person we spoke to was arrogant and lacking knowledge as they were all saying different things. We are absolutely shocked that such a well known company can have such awfull customer service!

We were missold the bed despite our stated requirements. The cocky salesman managed to convince me that black was white. The delivery men knocked down our wall with the van and tramped mud up our pale stair carpet. Never did get resoution on that. Four years later, both of us are in agony. The mattress has unwarranted dips which Benson's claim are allowed to be 60mm. Their tame inspector from Homeserve completely misquoted the issues in his report and completely ignored the fact that the stitching was also coming apart underneath. Customer service rating is zero, the option below doesn't work for that.

Great service in store but dreadful after service. States 5 year guarantee BUT you have have anything that’s considered faulty by a third party who the customer has to pay for. More than often they say there’s no fault blaming it on silly things like it’s because customer sits on the edge of the bed. The quality of products is poor, delivery is even worse. Once they have your money they make it extremely difficult for you if you’re not happy. STAY CLEAR OF BENSONS 4 BEDS!!!!!!

Too much to say in one review but bad customer service!! Terrible mattess and I've been left with my complaint NOT resolved. The worst company I've ever had to deal with and they have caused me so much upset. Over £2000 for a bed with a mattress that's absolutely shocking!!!

bought king size bed with a 10yr guarantee, now they say I need an inspector to check mattress has 2 trenches where we sleep but they must be approved by Bensons but we gave to pay. No way can they tell me who to spend my money with. Reading reports I may as well throw mattress on the dump as Bensons Customer Care is abysmal.

Brought a premium mattress from Bensons with a 5 year warranty, after 2.5 years the springs collapsed and I had two pay for two mattress inspections as bensons disputed the first one. The mattress was found to be faulty and two bensons 3 months to replace even with my wife heavily pregnant. Bensons have still not reimbursed me for the mattress inspections. This has been so far a 9 month process that’s still ongoing. Staff are constantly rude on their customer service line , pretending to be experts in consumer law and hang up on you. They ignore emails, never responded to a single email from me. I have never had such a hard time with a company in my life. Avoid , avoid , avoid !!!

Do not buy from Bensons for Beds they do not deliver just take and launder your money, administration in 2 weeks....
