“Had I read the reviews I never would have bought from best buy. Delivery of a washing machine was to be installed, I wasn't home, my 85 yr old father was. They dumped it in the middle of the laundry room, told my dad to sign and left. Called, talked to floor supervisor, he didn't seem very concerned about it, his point was I didn't pay for install,(it was a special they were running). They took advantage of an old man, thinking they could pull one over and they did. Best buy doesn't care. Never again.”
“I ordered an expensive electronic for my son's Christmas gift and because I'm a teacher, I put my school's address for the delivery address so that it wouldn't get stolen from my porch. Had I known that Best Buy does not stand behind OnTrac, who they contract with for deliveries, I would never have ordered online from them. Apparently the gift was delivered at 7:04 pm to my school (Sorry, nobody is working at a school at 7:04 pm) and apparently someone signed for it. Just to be 100% sure, I called our maintenance supervisor at the district office, and nobody with that name is employed by maintenance, and of course nobody at my site has that name nor would have been working at 7:04 p.m. when the alarms are all set. But I also checked the surveillance cameras before I called to report that this must have been a mistake, and sure enough, no OnTrac vehicle pulled into the parking lot that evening. After being on hold with Best Buy for half an hour and getting nowhere, they transferred me to OnTrac. Between two separate calls, I've sat on hold over 2 hours and have been told, "Someone signed for it, sorry, it's been delivered." Explain to me how you delivered to a CLOSED BUSINESS and had someone sign for it? When I called Best Buy back, they told me it is a problem between OnTrac and me now. WHAT THE????? I should've just ordered from AMAZON, at least their customer service is over the top helpful. So now I'm out $200 because OnTrac delivered this to some random house and the person got a free gift? or the driver decided he would like to keep what Best Buy had to send? Ordering it to my school was to avoid having it stolen, now I've been ripped off by the company I ordered it from. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING ONLINE FROM BEST BUY!”
“This is the worst experience I ever had after buying any product. We bought a washer-dryer set. They only delivered our washer. They didn't deliver the dryer and didn't inform us as well. When I called the customer service, they rescheduled the dryer delivery. THEY CANCELLED THE DRYER DELIVERY FOUR TIMES AFTER THE RESCHEDULE. I waited my home for the delivery three times missing my job and other appointments. The fifth time, they arrived my home but left without delivering as I was late for 2 minutes. They need to understand that it takes time to reach home and we could have avoided the whole mess if you didn't cancel the delivery for five times. In the end, I cancelled the whole order.”

this is our second bad experience and now I know better!!
first was an over that took 6 weeks and was cancelled 3 times on their end - meanwhile we did not have an over during that time!!
this time - We ordered a refrigerator online on 11-30 and had a zero balance Best Buy credit card that we placed it on. They pre-confirmed the order, so when the order actually was placed it showed we did not have enough credit and canceled the order but not the charge - so they said they would take the charge off and told us to reorder.
So we ordered it again and the delivery was scheduled for 12-14 from 8-12:00. The driver called the night before to confirm we would be the second stop. (we were leaving town that day just after install) The delivery guy called us at 10 am on delivery day to say it was not on the truck and therefore we would have to call the store?
After numerous calls to stores, corporate, the best buy credit card...it now shows delivery on the 23rd, yet the charge from the first order is still on the card and they want a payment on January 1st!! I cannot get any confirmation that it will arrive on Monday but the window is from 12-pm?!? So I am supposed to sit here all day when we could very easily get cancelled on the 23rd!
I am more than a little frustrated!! I advise you to NOT use best buy! Terrible experience!!”
“Went in looking for the fortnite battle bus for my son. Found it then was looking at figurines for it saw some that were 12.99 so decided to get them. Went to the register and it rang up wrong. Showed her were it said 12.99 she called the manager over he didn’t know how to do anything with it . He called someone else over. The second guy told me that they couldn’t give it to me for the 12.99 even though it was in the wrong spot. And they were others in the same spot. I work retail and if there are a few of the same items in the wrong spot we have to guve it to the customer for the price that the sign says.”
“When we came to buy our new stove, the service was good. They especially told us that if something would happen with the delivery, it's not their fault. We were suppose to receive the appliance in 48 hours. The first try delivery, they said they couldn't park in the street neither in the garage, si they had to reschedule. This is a lie, we always have big truck parked in the street for all the delivery problem. They told me to wait for their call to reschedule. They haven't called me at all. I use the hotline, waited for 1 hour, to have some one on the phone. We did reschedule.
The second time, they parked, and said that the appliance was broken, I was really mad cause it was more than 2 weeks and a half without any stove. I refused the product and call them for another delivery schedule.
I just receive my stove, today. It took 3 times to have and almost 3 weeks and a half. This is unacceptable. No one has ever did some commercial gesture. I am really disappointed and I will never agin use Best Buy for buying my appliance.”
“I ordered three computers fir my kids Christmas on Dec 2nd. It was supposed to arrive last Tuesday. Wed I get an email saying it's delayed and if it doesn't ship by Jan 13th. It will be cancelled. So I went online to cancel the order. It won't let me. I call Best Buy online support, CLEARLY get a call center in India. Huge language issue, but in the end they could not cancel the order so I could pick 3 other PCs. So after an hour on the phone I call to get my card limit increased so i can purchase three MORE PCs so my kids can have Christmas. I get the increase (that I really don't want) order 3 other PCs that say in stock and will ship "Next Day". I wait for it, nothing. Then I get an email that's said what? "Delayed, will try to ship by Jan 15th". So now I can't cancel this order either and now my card is super maxed out and I didn't get anything. WHY cant you cancel an order that hasn't even been sent out from the manufacturer??? WHY would the site state they are in stock and will ship next day and then tell you it hasn't even been sent to Best Buy from the manufacturer???? I WILL NEVER EVER BUY ONLINE FROM BEST BUY!! I can't wait for them to allow me to cancel my SIX computers do I can cut the fng card up and cancel my account.”
“Hello Dear friends, just wanted to share my experience with you since I felt so humiliated while trying to buy at Bestbuy Company during #blackfriday!! My step mother saw that the computer she wanted was on sale, so my sister, father and I decided to make her a surprise and buy her a computer. While at the store, I saw that the Beats Headphone were on sale too and decided to buy to my husband. Since I was using my Best Buy credit card, I would be able to pay all that in monthly payments, so I picked the airpods for myself as well. THAT was my nightmare beginning. Earlier that day, I saw that #walmart was selling the same product for $10 less, and Best Buy has a price match policy, so I checked with the sales person who was helping us if it would be able to price match that product. He checked with the manager and she said no, since the "product was different". That is not true! I checked the model and all details were exactly the same!! So I asked the manager if she could show me what were the diferences, just to understand, but she took the product from my hand, rudely and overreacting, and said that I could buy for the price that was published buy BestBuy or I could leave (without buying anything) and left.... Surprised, we went after her, asking for an apology, she couldn't treat a customer like that! I have already spent thousands at #bestbuycompany but the only thing she did was giving us her business card and said: "If you are not satisfied with this treatment, you can contact BestBuy 1800 and report" and left again. We went back to the cashier to finalize our purchase, and who appears? The same store manager!! She prohibited the sales person who was nicely helping us to check out, and said that she would finalize our purchase. We declined and said we wanted to finish the process with the sales person, and she said that she wouldn't allow him to finish and we had 2 options: 1) Let her finish checking us out or 2) leave the store. We said we wouldn't leave without finalizing this purchase with the sales person. Immediately she called the police and made them walk us out from the store!! We were treated as a robbers!!! Thats humiliating. The store was packed, since was #blackfriday and everyone was looking at us as we did something wrong!!! “My husband and I tried to purchase 5 of these online this morning 12/13 for Christmas presents. Each Google Nest Hub was supposed to include a free Google Net Mini 2nd Generation with Google Assistant. However, when we tried to order >1, it only showed one free Google Net Mini so I had to order them individually. After ordering 3, we were given an error that we had reached our max. We were logged in to my husband's account so I decided to try purchasing as a guest. No luck, it recognized my email address. I tried ordering the last two using my work email. It appeared to be successful but then Best Buy cancelled them. My husband spent several hours talking to customer service. He was told they thought it was fraud and that there was a limit of 3 per person. I called and asked to speak with management because MY HUSBAND AND I ARE SEPARATE PEOPLE. If the limit is 3 per person we should be able to order 6. All I got was a run around. Beware of Best Buy. They have 0 customer service.”
“We ordered online with 2 day shipping. On the scheduled day of delivery, got notice that the order was delayed until Jan 9th... almost a month later. Tried to cancel but they claimed it was in transit and couldn’t be cancelled. 2 days later we got notified of a cancellation but when we checked our bank we now had 2 charges for the same amount without a refund. A day or so after one charge was refunded but not the other. The in store employees could only find 1 order, 1 charge and 1 refund but bank still shows the other charge as pending. Best Buy won’t work with us to get resolution and refuses to acknowledge the other charge even when we show it directly to them. Their managers and customer service reps were also rude and dismissive. We will NEVER shop with them again and neither should you.”
“Best Buy is scamming everyone right now - Example - Go buy Apple AirPods on their site and you will be told you can pick up at local store next day and / or get it delivered in a few days. Wrong ! They have no stock - I am waiting over 10 days and nothing from them. All other companies / online retailers have the professional courtesy / decency to say 'Out of stock' on their sites - but not Best Buy. They fake sell you the product ('false availability') - then apologize for the delay the next day via email offering no delivery date. I called for help and got transferred all over for hours with no one helping me they just said hold on. They could care less about helping you. I purchased a nintendo switch on cyber monday because there was a deal that the game would come with Starlink as well as Mario Cart. The site did not provide information concerning that Mario Cart was no longer available. They said they ran out. They should have had the same amount of Mario Carts as Starlink games. But I was not notified until the order was placed and I received a confirmation. Best Buy should be taken to court for false advertisement.”
“I ordered i Robot s9 and m6 at Frisco Best Buy store on 11/24, and while ordering i was told that it will be ready for pickup in store at 11/27. I went to store today and even after paying the complete amount on 11/24, the order was not available for pickup. I wanted to pick up both the items on 11/24, as we our last vacuum, which we bought from Best Buy stopped working. Since, we could not pick up the items on 11/24, we had to hire a cleaning lady and spend $120. Today also, we were told that something went wrong with the order and we will have to wait till next Thursday. Due to which, we had to spend additional $300 to buy s9+, which we did not require. At the top of that, the General Manager at Best Buy was very rude and said that he cannot do anything. He was very biased and treated me very badly. First we had to wait for more than 45 mins for him to come and address this situation. Then, he didn't care and said he would not help me. I have been a Best buy customer since long and have spent more than $20k in household items, in just last couple of years. This is not the customer satisfaction experience and would like someone at corporate to address it”
