Do not go ANYWHERE near this company. Having dreamed about getting a new kitchen for 25 years, my parents are now wishing they'd never started it. This company have messed us about from the start. We had a guy come and design our kitchen, it looked wonderful and we couldn't wait for it to be started. We were having an extension built so when the surveyor came out to measure everything out to make sure it fit, nothing fit. The designer had done totally wrong measurements, ordered the wrong appliances, just a total mess. This had to be re-designed and ended up costing more money which Betta Living agreed to pay for, but they did it begrudgingly. We were hoping that was the end of the madness, it turns out it wasn't. Our builder who has been fitting kitchens for the past 30 years came to fit the kitchen and has never been so flabbergasted by a kitchen before in his life. It came with no instructions, which after talking to the 'kitchen fitter manager', they apparently don't send any instructions because they basically want you to admit defeat and pay them £2000 for fitting. They sent us numerous wrong pieces, which they 'can't believe' they did. The 'filler' finishing off pieces don't match the kitchen cupboards. We ordered a Shaker High Gloss Cream, the filler parts are a 'cream colour' and matt sheen. Apparently, they don't match the kitchen unless you pay over the odds, which they obviously don't believe we have. The company just don't care and are saying it's 'not their problem'. We had to order a new draw front because it got damaged, it's taken nearly two weeks to turn up. Our neighbour just knocked on our door with it in her arms, they'd delivered it to the wrong address. When we looked at the draw front, they'd sent completely the wrong one. As I said, our design is 'Shaker High Gloss Cream', the front they'd sent was for a New York Gloss Cream. When we called the company they said they ordered that because that's what the system says our kitchen is, how is that even possible when all our delivery notes state it's 'Shaker High Gloss Cream'. None of it makes any sense. From what I've read of reviews online, I'm so glad we have our own fitter. It seems Betta Living send out novices when it comes to fitting kitchens for themselves, at least our builder wants to make sure it's done correctly and we're not left with a sham of a kitchen. At the time of writing this review, the kitchen isn't even finished yet so who knows what other things could go wrong.

I recently bought my kitchen from Betta Living and I could not be more disgusted by the poor service I received. Upon ordering I was promised by sales person impeccable service apparently given this company's experience and good reputation. I explained the importance of delivering on time and in full, given I have two young children and cannot be without a kitchen. They insist on taking your money upfront and once they have it they will do as they please: the initially overly keen and overly friendly salesman will suddenly not answer your calls and the entire team that you have dealt with upon purchase will hide behind another 'head office' team whose computer funnily always says 'no'. And nobody is there when you need to speak to them; they are either away from their desks or on holiday for days on end. Or just not available. The biggest problem here is that they do not deliver in full. My kitchen arrived with no worktops, among other pieces! I had builders who could not install my kitchen because of the incomplete delivery. To this day (weeks later) I am still waiting for some big pieces, without which the installation of my kitchen cannot be completed. I am told the pieces have not yet been produced! Yet they sold me the kitchen on the basis that on X date I will have everything. Needless to say infuriating, disappointing and very unprofessional. If there was an option of 0 stars I would have chosen it. I could not recommend them less. I regret enormously having bought the kitchen from Betta Living.

We had a kitchen installed April 7th 2014 which was the start date. They told us it would take 4 days but we are now in December 2014 and still facing many issues with doors dropping glass splash back cracking and many more. Quartz was cut to the wrong size glass splash back was sent out 4 times either the wrong colour or wrong size then once fitted 2 months later cracked in several places because of the heat. This glass should have been heat resistant and toughened glass but was neither. This was then removed and it took plaster of the wall which had been newly plastered prior to them starting to fit the kitchen. The carousel was fitted but was chipped when installed. When speaking to betta living on a daily basis they would tell you they would call you back. They never called back at all. It was a constant battle trying to get all these issues sorted. The customer service is shocking. There is no such thing as customer service with betta living. I would never ever recommend this company to anyone.

We are exremely satisfied and pleased with our new kitchen. Salesman, Design Surveyor, Fitters could not be better. Thank you to Irving and Dan who worked constantly. We now have our dream kitchen. Highly recommended.

I ordered a bedroom on the 29/9/14 I cancelled on the 1/10/14 by email and recorded delivery due to the fact the bedroom originally wanted the measurements were not workable according to the surveyor ,the price did not alter despite being less,I have paid £2170 in deposits ,money I have saved hard for despite being told by customer services that a refund has to go by head office and someone will be in touch.No one has despite phone calls and emails,the sales person assured me it was a company that put customers first and listened to them.I am on a pension and I am getting very worried that I will not get my monkey back.Don't deal with this company unless you have money to throw away. The sales and design process were straightforward and well managed. The kitchen fitting went without a hitch and well within the timescales however an interior cupboard part was damaged and it took almost 3 months to get a replacement. The part arrived and I couldn't get in touch with the fitters and my emails to Betta Living were not answered. I ended up having to pay a joiner to fit the part. On the whole I would recommend Betta Living but their after sales service could do with some improvement. It's now 6 months since I had the kitchen fitted and I still haven't had anyone out to sign the work off.

The fitter who fitted our kitchen was excellent and done a very professional job. He is a true and honest professional who has done an outstanding job. However I have to say we are completely dissatisfied with the sales man who sold us the kitchen and appliances. Although he came across as extremely polite and trustworthy we can quite honestly state he was extremely clever in selling the kitchen. We were initially told the cost of kitchen would be in the same price range as those sold by DIY stores and that this was about £4000. He further stated that although the price is equal to the DIY cost the quality is the same as designer kitchens. We have now found another local dealer selling a very very similar kitchen for about £4000 which includes the Capel appliances we have purchased. The salesman also initially told us that the appliances were covered by a three year warranty. He later said the warranty cover was for two years. We have now found that the warranty is for 12 months and not even two years. We were initially very happy but obviously now very dissapointed as we feel we have been mislead. The sales man also stated an inspector will visit when the fitter completes the work to inspect if the work had been carried out to standard. We would not be required to pay the fitter until the inspector passed the work. This again is false as we were advised by Bettaliving and the fitter that no inspector visits to inspect or pass the standard of work, we have to pay on completion. We were also told that if we agreed to participate in having our kitchen photographed and advertised to provide publicity for Bettaliving then we would be given a free glass cabinet. We immediately agreed to this but Bettaliving have not contacted us to date to have any photographs taken and have not supplied us with a free glass cabinet.

From the start I thought I was due to be dealing with a great company, Initial contact was great and the salespersons, designers and surveyor were all superb, very professional and provided a great service, When it cam to delivery and installation again fantastic, the installation team were great and took on board everything I asked of them, There were a few errors during the installation, not due to the fitters but little errors with items ordered or items that actually would not fit, This is where the problems start, Customer service NON Existent, I have spent since 4th June until now ( August 10th) trying to resolve my complaints and NO ONE is interested I get passed from pillar to post and no one will do anything, The installation manager every time I call passes the buck and no one ever contacts me, Its a real shame as the kitchen looks superb, but due to customer care will never use Betta Living again. !!!!!!!!!

Excellent kitchen, very pleased with fit, quality and how it looks. Delivery and fitting was in time and fitters were very good. Customer service was poor - most stuff went to plan, but the few issues we had were difficult to deal with. The area manager for kitchen for the north west was particularly unhelpful and obtuse. The sales guy who came out to estimate was also very pushy and talked us into a couple of decisions that we're wrong for us and we had to change lately ( which then costs extra). Overall satisfied and would recommend, but be on the ball to prevent customer service issues.

We are very pleased with our wardrobe.Would particularly like to mention the fitter,I think his name was Kevin.It was a long day for him,he had one or two unexpected difficulties but coped brilliantly,and the "finishing off" was excellent considering it came at the end of a long day for him. Thank you .

BRILLIANT SERVICE- FROM START TO FINISH. THE FITTER WAS AMAZING, HE WAS PUNCTUAL, HARDWORKING, POLITE, CONSIDERATE, TIDY. HE TIDIED UP AFTER EACH NITE NOTHING WAS TOO MUCH TROUBLE. WHEN I HAVE ANOTHER ROOM DONE I WILL ASK FOR THE SAME FITTER.

Hi to start off with my surname is spelt bailey. I had no problems with the planning and fitting of the bedroom I ordered although fitting did start a day later than planned and I had taken the day off work so I would be in for the start. Problems commenced when I found a scratch on one of the doors, I then discovered that your company lacks adaquate communication skills. The new door was ordered with no problems and later delivered. Nobody informed us we were required to Inform you when it was delivered therefore a week later I eventually contacted you. I would presume that you would be in contact with your delivery company so you would be aware when deliveries had been made. The new door was again scratched. I again informed you even though the fitter said he would. A new door was ordered but delivery seemed to be a big problem for you. I had to ring several times to establish a delivery date which I was eventually given. I again waited in for this delivery but the wrong item had been brought. It was then discovered that my delivery was at the other end of the country. I then waited a few days for some communication from you as to when it would be re delivered. I got nothing and had to start chasing it myself again. This was painstaking I phone several times on several days for people to say they would ring me back in half an hour for nobody to even phone me back that day or any other. After several weeks it was delivered and fitted. The fitter left the damaged door in my driveway and said somebody would coolest it. This was several weeks ago and it is still THERE

From the moment we entered the showroom to the completion of our kitchen the service we received was absolutely brilliant. The survey visit took in all our ideas and needs, the preparation team were excellent, and the fitters delivered a superb kitchen in a very friendly and professional manner. At no time did we ever have cause for concern as we were kept informed throughout the process. Many thanks to everyone at Betta Living.

It was just by chance that we visited a Flagship Next Store and saw the Betta Living kitchens on display. The whole experience from the planning, ordering, quality, delivery and fitting was fantastic. Couldn't fault anything at all. When you call Betta Living the staff are very personable and very professional and do what they say they are going to do. I would highly recommend them and would definitely use them again. We now have an amazing top quality kitchen and I wouldn't do anything different next time. Sounds very corny, but true. Mrs D Dean Camberley Surrey

We are extremely pleased with the new kitchen and would recommend Bettaliving to anyone. The fitter was very helpful and a clean and tidy workman we would be happy to have come and do any other jobs in the future.

Not very impressed with first sales man appointment, he planned our kitchen only for the surveyor to totally re-plan it due to the plan not following safety rules. Not enough communication between ordering new kitchen and installation. Fitters of kitchen excellent, very hard working,polite and tidy. Kitchen was fitted in april and after a day of use my metal kitchen sink has become scratched and a kick board has become loose. Have contacted betta-living to ask for replacement still waiting now. Good company but wouldnt use again.
