“I received a 1000 pieces puzzle as a gift. It is called Playful Dogs by Artist Jon Francis.
It is missing 19 pieces and 9 pieces do not belong.
My friend that gave it to me has passed away.
The customer service rep said there is nothing they can do as they don't have a tracking or order number it was in a brand new box and said number 44441.
They said they still need the order number. Now they are saying it is out of print.
Alan Segal, is the President of this company however they won't let me contact him to tell him how his jigsaw puzzles are incomplete puzzles. Have 3 pictures but it won't let me upload them!”
“My Christmas order was returned to them for reasons unknown to me; a refund was not automatically provided, so I wrote to them and did not get a response within 4 days, so I had to call them; the operator could not explain why à refund wasn’t automatically provided upon receipt of the returned order, couldn’t explain why my email went unanswered, said it could take an hour to receive a confirmation of refund email; I said I would wait on the line with him till I got the email and he hung up.”
“These jigsaw puzzles are VERY POORLY made and will not survive more than one or two workings, PLUS the BOX TORE UP BEFORE I could even get all the pieces out and I am very careful as puzzles are SUPER EXPENSIVE!! The mis-shaped, very SMALL pirces are hard to handle and the top PEELS AWAY IMMEDIATELY from the bottom on MANY pieces!! You know it's not gonn' be a fun puzzle when it takes too long to just make the FRAME! The COLORS are DARK and murky, unlike image on site andI will never waste money with this company again - VERY DISPLEASED!”

“Bought a Bits and Pieces 1000pc puzzle only to discover that it was missing 4 pieces. There were however 4 duplicate pieces. First I tried using their contact us via email. After a week, I called them. I am in Canada and contacted their Canadian customer service. They told me they couldn't help me because I didn't purchase the puzzle from their online store. That there was absolutely nothing they could do. (in addition, the call quality was terrible the agent kept cutting in and out and I could only hear every second or third word.) They didn't even want the Puzzle number and Lot number so they could investigate what might have happened. Never again will I buy a bits and pieces puzzle!”
“We have purchased 8-9 jigsaw puzzles and there have always been pieces missing. the first time we reported it, they gave us a $5 credit for a future purchase. We decided to make a second purchase. So far, we have done two puzzles and they both had pieces missing. Buyer beware!!!”
“I ordered a very very large order for our company and without any communication our order was apparently on back order and took over a month to receive. Terrible company and no one seemed to care when I emailed them with the issue or offer even a discount for future orders. DO not recommend at all.”
“I bought a Puzzle Tabletop Easel from Bits and Pieces online expecting to be able to get a refund if not happy with my order like most respectable businesses will give you.
The puzzle board was very heavy to lift and move around for me so I decided to send it back. The leather handle on the puzzle broke when I picked the puzzle board up so it did not have a good handle on it for how heavy it was. I called the company and they gave me the return address and said once they received the item back they would give me a refund. They said I was responsible for paying the postage to send it back. I went to pay the postage on it and the postage was going to cost the same amount that I paid for the puzzle table easel! I called Bits and Pieces back and asked if they could send a prepaid return label for my return and they said the return postage was my responsibility. I had to end up selling the table myself online to try and get my money back. I will never shop with Bits and Pieces again.”

Several weeks assembling them. Tried to contact a local human and everything is out sourced out of the country. Can not even speak to anyone who really cares. Company needs to be shut down.”
“I have purchased several orders from this company. However, this last order they decided to send me a bill in the mail to pay immediately. I ordered from a Canadian company on line in Canada to be shipped in Canada. They decided that the amount that I ordered online was incorrect and that should pay more. This is not a correct business model for any company. The price that you pay is what you pay and not more after the fact. I called Bits and Pieces in Canada to find out why I was billed. They could not find anything wrong with my current status. Then they hung up on me after they stated that they were writing a note to another department. I then checked the envelope of the extra charge and it came from the USA. My account online does not show an outstanding amount. They operator at Bits and Pieces Canada Ontario did not see an outstanding amount. But it appears that someone in the USA decided that I should pay more. I will not be giving my Credit Card number to anyone over the phone or any other way for items that I ordered online and paid for and also received.”

I was finishing my online order, put the code from the green box for free shipping in when a message box appeared stating I could not in receive free shipping when I order sale items. No where in the catalog does it state Free shipping is not available if you are buying items on sale. I called Customer service 2 times to be told that I can only use discount 1 time - either use the sale price or the Free shipping and pay regular price for the items I wanted. I again repeated that no where in the catalog does it state that. Customer service stated it has been their policy that you get one discount or the other. I told her that unless they state that as a condition of the free shipping in the offer, in my opinion it is miss leading the customer. I told her I was deleting my online order and will not be ordering from them again!!!!!”
