Carpet right sent wrong size carpet and the wrong colour. We have been left with only underlay down for two weeks in living room and stairs. This has caused no end of inconvience

My mother ordered Lino for a bathroom and carpet for a bedroom in store. We had a fitter of our own so the fitter picked up the carpet and Lino on the day of the fitting. He came to my mum property and started on the bedroom. My mum had to pop out so my uncle stayed with the fitter. The carpet was fitted and the bathroom Lino. My uncle oversaw it and the fitter left. When my mum returned she was shocked to find the Lino was not the colour she had originally ordered it was white and she had ordered black. I rang the store and explained what had happened and manager agreed to change and re fit. When we hadn't heard from them in over a week I rang them again. I spoke with the manager he changed what he had told me. He said we could have the Lino good will but they would not be fitting it. He had rang the fitter and asked about the fitting as X the fitter had said we were happy with it. I explained my mum was not there and my uncle saw it and yes he agreed but we presumed the colour would be correct. I was furious he rang the fitter who didn't work for carpet right anymore I then rang customer service and went through the whole story with a lady. She spoke with regional manager and it was agreed that it would be fitted and changed. Again another week goes by and hear nothing. I ring again and speak to Simon who informs meafter being put on hold for 25 mins that they would not be fitting because of the cost. I cannot believe how I was told twice that it would be fitted and also told twice that it won't. I asked for the regional manager to ring me Bradley (don't know his surname) apparently he was emailed and 4 days later no call!! I am absolutely disgusted with the service in both store and customer service. Please go somewhere else. In my experience of customer service in other shops they usually resolve the situation. This is not the case for carpet right. Please excuse the one star rating it should be zero but was unable to do it

purchased a carpet from Stevenage store fitting day was Saturday the 28 oct. Rang the store on Friday to confirm time and was told fitter would ring me half hour before due to arrive. Also shop was would confirm time for Saturday,No call and low and behold fitter turned up Saturday morning when we would be a afternoon appointment so fitter needed to come back after 12 so room was cleared.Carpet fitter was 1st class but store was poor at confirming appointment time.

So they no longer loan out samples from their ipswich depot but order a bit 10 cm x 10 cm. My question is how can you judge your choice from such q small piece??? I understand they may not get returned but surely if u take a small deposit its an incentive for the borrower to return the sample?? So we went next door to SCS and borrowed 5 samples from display made a decision from home and ordered our carpet. Oh and of course returned the samples. Wasn't hard!!! Carpet right staff wheb i asked for some assistance 1 girl shrugged and said im going home in 5 mins. And the other gormless looking members of staff looked at each other like i was the last thing they wanted tp do. Quality bit of customer service not!!!

Absolute joke! Been told my carpet would be delivered Wednesday, nothing. Then told it would be delivered Friday, again nothing. Spoke to a lady and she said she will get hold of the driver and ring us back. She couldn’t get hold of him but said when he gets back to her she will ring us back. She never did. Rang about 3 times and all said the same but never received any phone call back. Then spoke to the manager (Cambridge store) and was told he doesn’t know what’s gone wrong but he will personally deliver them at half 6 When he finishes work in his own personal car. (On Saturday) NEVER TURNED UP!!!! Now been trying to get hold of them all morning and it just takes me to a voicemail service! NEVER EVER ORDERING FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!!!

Carpetright website had the "special offer" for Royal Blue" carpet at £7.49psm. Telephoned Inverness and guess what. They don't stock ANY dark blue carpet. 14 to 28 day back order BUT they do have other carpet at £12 to £14 in the branch. The guy was polite enough, but this really does have the aroma of "bait and switch". Carpetright is a public limited company with a Financial Conduct Authority licence (credit broker). So you would think it is reputable. All I know is the £7.49 special offer should have the caveats that it is NOT readily available placed on the website and adverts. Am VERY unlikely to buy from Carpetright because of this "bait and switch" type promotion. Three bedrooms and underlay. A fair amount of business lost. Anyone from Carpetright give a monkeys? Perhaps when Advertising Standards visit.

I HATE BEING LIED TOO!!! Had my fitting appointment cancelled last week, I telephoned on the day to see what was going on and they were “just about to ring me!” Apparently the carpet fitter had to leave for a family emergency. The only reason I don’t believe this is because I was booked in at 10.30 and they informed me when I rang at 12.15!!! And they had only just found out he had gone home!! I then get re-booked in for today, I percifically requested the first booking of the day as I didn’t want to be hanging around waiting and I was told it would be between 9.30 and 10.30. I telephoned today at 9.46 and spoke to a woman who said he was probably stuck in traffic, I then start ringing at 11.45 and it takes me about half an hour to get through to the Cambridge branch. I explain that I had already telephoned this morning and informed that he was probably stuck in traffic, I said “how can this be when I am the first appointment???” He tried phoning the carpet fitter but couldn’t get through So someone please explain to me how I can be the first appointment... I can ring at 9.46 and be told they’re stuck in traffic... I can ring at 12pm and still be told “yes you are the first appointment”... The fitter then rings at 12.20 informing me he will be here in 15 minutes!!!! SO WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?? Booked the day off work to be here and I am totally fed up with carpet right I have NEVER even received a receipt for what I have purchased!!!

I wouldn't touch this company with a barge-pole...., they can't even deliver the carpet to the correct address!!!!! (but they'll happily take your money) - i think that's enough said!!

all i will say to anyone buying carpets here first of all read the reviews and if you go ahead check your carpet with a magnifying glass on a regular basis i would like to say why but i cant the worst customer service ever all right taking the money i was going to get my 2 bedrooms done after the lounge and hallway but never never with this lot

I placed an order through the Dartford Store. They came to fit LVT click material through my New Build at Phoenix Quarter. They scrapped my walls, left blood staines, damaged my kitchen cabinet doors. After they left there was no response by the fitters, and the store supervisor at Carpetright Dartford tried to blame me for all the damage. Disrgaceful. Customer services tried to close my complaint without resolving it. I would go with Tapi Flooring next time as they have a 10 year fitting guarantee and are better people to deal with. Carpet right told me after the fitting that the fitting is guaranteed for 1 year only. What a shambles of a company. I spent £7000 and all I have had is grief.

What went right? Not one thing. Unpleasant staff and carpets laid in the most appalling way. Management have no interest in sorting it out.

Having offered to 'look into' my complaint, via Trustpilot, Carpetright customer services passed it back to the original branch, whose manager offered to send the original fitter to check the quality of the carpet. When I pointed out that this was not the appropriate person to deal with my complaint about the carpet's quality, and that I wanted the number for customer services, he said they would just pass it back to him again. Talk about going round in circles!

Ordered and payed cash for carpet on 18/07/17 it is now 13/10/2017 still not fitted excuse after excuse after excuse

The estimator's measurements alarmed the lead fitter, who treble-checked that there would be enough carpet, then laid the carpet out on the road to check that it was large enough. The fact that he asked me whether it was I who had furnished the measurements did not imbue me with confidence. In the end, he was satisfied that there would be enough carpet, and the team started on with the job, before alerting me to the fact that the removal of beading attached to the wall would leave marks as the beading had been glued. Had I known about this beforehand, I would have removed it myself then painted the skirting board prior to the laying of the carpet. Since Carpetright's text informing me of the estimator's arrival time contained the promise 'They will give you all the help you need', I am disappointed that he did not see fit to alert me to the beading issue. The fitters did not give me the option of choosing not to have the carpet laid until the glue had been removed. Now that I am in the process of trying to do it myself with arthritic hands, I have had to pull back the carpet, only to find it coming away in my hands. Complaints to Carpetright have not been followed up.

I bought a piece of vinyl flooring "Towy 501 Nemo" for the bathroom from Carpet Right Carmarthen and the young man was polite, helpful and cut the size perfectly, he then rolled it just right for the size of my car. The vinyl was easy to lay, to cut to fit and my bathroom is looking lovely for it. Thank you

Bristol store was appalling. Was promised a date and time for visit and had to sit in to wait for them, only to get a call that a road was blocked off because of the police. I went down to that very same road and low and behold: No police. Even if there was, there was 2 - 3 other roads to get to my house. They then drove back to their HQ to drop off my carpet, then came back into the same area for another job. Absolutely pathetic.

Customer service was appalling from the Grimsby store, the carpets they had to offer was either ridiculously priced or what I wouldn't even class as carpet. The way the staff members treat both me and my mother was appalling I thought they was rude and spoke to us like we was thick! Do not recommend

Went to carpet right approx 3 months back, wanted the full package that included a visit from there estimator as we thought we possibly would require a screed (we already Pulled the old flooring up so he could clearly see what they would be working with) he came round and said no extra work needed doing? Okay great, we triple checked this just to make sure, we wanted no issues as we had already had several issues with tradesmen. Fitters came and fitted the floor and within an hour of them leaving the floor was lifting, they came back quite promptly and arranged to lift and pack out the area, this lasted again tops 24 hours, the floors a health and safety hazard there's no door divider, and we are a pack short of what we paid for. I have had zero acknowledgment, it's been 6 weeks since anyone has made contacted, I have chased and been fobbed off continuously, found out today the store manager of the kidderminster branch has left and there is No paper trial with what's happened or even happening, the guy I spoke to couldn't help either, it's absolutely horrendous and I and would just like the floor taking away and my money back. I would never use them again. Such a disappointment, the customer service in store and head office are shocking. They get a zero from me, DO Not USE.
