I ordered phone on the website (CAT S60). On website there was a comment "1-3 days delivery", next i got an email "not on stock,please wait up to 2 weeks", after week I got email "your order has been cancelled. I wait for refund 4 days and my money still wasn't refunded!!! (Ł509.99) By the way phone is still availble to buy on carphone warehouse website.. This is my last order in carphone warehouse.

I recently purchased a new handset, no contract, no SIM, just cash up front. I was asked would I need insurance to which I replied, no, insurance is not worth the paper it is written on rather smugly. The Salesperson then replied well you will need to sign a declaration to say that you have insurance and that you have tuned down ours. It's Policy he said. Well stuff you and stuff your Policy. I am the customer, how dare you make such demands just to sell me a product? Never again though, you will never see another penny from me ever again.

Sales rep called me and said I had free upgrade and I could keep the same number ( noted at the time he rather condescendingly said it would save me trying to remember a new number). It would also save me telling all my friends new number. Guess what when new SIM put in different number. My son then swapped over my old phone, I now don't have a working phone and customer service not open until 8 which will leave me without a phone which I need for my work.

Before I sign the contract, they promised me that they will cover the majority of my lost for breaking my old contract. Of course, we all know what happened eventually. Was advised by my new contract supplier that I should change my contract to something else as it will have a better outcome. So I phoned CPW next day, customer services, on Sunday, said I can cancel it within 14 days. So went back to shop on Tuesday, they told me I can not cancle it even with the terms and conditions said you can within a 7 days. The answer they gave to me is that this terms and conditions are just a generic one, stores have it own police. This is morning 9:30, no customer, those staff just left me in the counter with my new phone. I called CPW customer service again, customer services changed their tune this time. In the end, I have to stuck with this contract for next 24 month. It is not the end. When I try to ask whether the store has wifi, another staff came and said to me. "Yes, we do,but it is secured, so you can GET OUT IT?!" I can only hope he means get out my phone. Or he just like to treat customer like a piece of garbage?! Anyway, that is my experience with them. All I can say is stay away from this Company.

Would like to rate zero stars. Customer service is shocking. They take your money but then fail to deal with faulty hand set issue after owning for only 7 days. They pass the buck, staff in 2 store argumentative and intimate customers make accusations and insult you. Do not deal with this company they use persuadive sales to get your money then don't want to know. Not a trustworthy retailer

New contract kept old number discrepancies Would like to personally thank Louise from the Bury St Edmunds branch for ALL her help regarding confusion of new phone contract, regards to keeping old phone number from previous phone . Louise handled this professionally and with patients when phoning through to get assistance from O2 . After having new phone and unable to use & receive the basic functions of a phone im now pleased to say I do believe after 6 days im now up & running. Give credit where deserved many thanks Louise & assistance from O2

Untrustworthy company. I have been contacting them constantly for my refund after cancelling an order. They keep saying the refund will be in my account in 3-5 days but when it's still not in there, they make up some excuse and tell me the same thing. This has been going on for over a month and it's clear they're just not going to return my money. I can't believe a high street retailer would behave like this. Terrible customer service. I will never be buying anything from these thieves again.

I would like to thank the employee at the Carphone Warehouse, Evesham branch who denied me service. It has saved me from a world of pain by not getting involved with the retail company that tops the customer service league of shame according to the Lady Geek campaigning agency. A generous interpretation of what happened is that the employee did not want another hapless customer to fall victim to their over-priced and under-delivered service. My card failed what they call their 'internal security check' which is either fatally flawed or a mechanism where the sales assistant can activate the message to deny the customer service. I tend towards the latter as the sales assistant blatantly lied about the reason saying that it is usually because the card details do not match the address. This is not true because the credit check had already been approved. Companies can decline to offer a service but they cannot do it based on ethnicity. I do not claim that is what happened in this case but Carphone Warehouse appear to operate a system which is wide open to abuse.

first shop told the item was not in stock and he could not check another store for stock.Second store was even worse loads of questions who was the phone for who was i tryed to get me into a contract when i wanted pay as you go then said i had to stay with this certain network.All i wanted was a pay as you go mobile lost my temper a little payed cash for the mobile and off i went 25 mins later .NEVER EVER AGAIN I WILL GIVE THEM MY MONEY

It is first time I ordered a contract from carphone warehouse but I wished I did not do this mistake the mistake which I will not forget all my life!!! First of all of, once you place an order with that is mean you put yourself in a mess or trapped yourself with situation that will break your heart before breaking your pocket. I did a very silly mistake this time and got a listen but it was my fault NOT to check out the review rate before placing an order!!! If I checked out this reviews which carphone warehouse has a ridiculous rating!!! Then I definitely wouldn't place an order... I have placed an order 01/05/2017, then next day I wanted to cancel it the guy on the phone he was too far away to be a professional advisor he did nothing to solve my problem but to put me on more trouble, now I do not know what exactly happened?!!! Neither I received the nor it has been cancelled!!! That is mean they keep my details on thier system as an active while I am sure they will send me my order nor they will cancel it, after few weeks they keep sending me bills and if I refuse to pay it they will send my details to credit check report company to punish me!!! Now I did the mistake and I will need seek legal advice to stop this thugs from harming me... It will be long and painful to at the end.... So please please avoid them and try another company instead. Don't do the same my mistake trust me I have nothing personal with carphone warehouse, they are just rubbish company.

Their new network customer services will drive you mad. iD is carphone warehouse's network where, there is no separate complaints section, the reps speak English as a 2nd language and will happily lie to you and blatantly ignore facts and evidence, the computers systems seems to be there best and most used excuse. They will happily over charge you at any point and then try to confuse​ customers, mainly by having different reps telling you different things. In regards to my complaint I have been told lies via phone email and Facebook all different, I've even had reps saying I haven't sent any evidence to their email address despite having an email to them in my sent mail only to stand my ground, the rep find an email but by chance can not access the evidence. After very nearly 4 weeks I am still no further forward. Only 8 weeks to go before the ADR and ombudsman.

I ordered a phone for my daughter who is at Southampton University so I asked for it to be delivered to the Southampton branch. The staff said they could deliver it direct to the University Halls of Residence. I explained that this might be difficult as the parcel would go to a central reception desk and asked that my daughter's name be put on the parcel. They said that your system would not allow that. When DPD attempted to deliver the phone, the person on the University reception checked their data base and my name wasn't on it so could not accept the parcel. So the phone was not delivered. No one has attempted to contact me or my daughter. I phoned The branch three times, was put on hold for ten minutes only then to have my phone call ended with a recorded message telling me the store was too busy and to call back later! I decided to call the central customer services today to be told that my order had been cancelled because you were unable to deliver the phone, after trying only once I don't know when they were planning on telling me this. I am appalled that I spent an hour in the branch ordering a phone and the best part of an hour on the phone trying to track down the phone I had purchased and they can't spare a few seconds to let me know that they are unable to meet your side of the contract.

The customer service in Carphone Warehouse is absolutely appalling and is more than likely going to leave you irate. They do not keep to delivery promises, they have unhelpful staff, a lack of organisation, and a tremendous ability to waste your whole day, weekends and sometimes weeks. Do not buy from Carphone Warehouse, they are a clueless bunch of reprobate timewasting unpleasant arseholes.

My Wife and I took out monthly contacts 4 days ago for £15/month Sim-only deals. IE £360 per annum for no phones. The instructions to port our phone numbers from the awful O2 were so bad that we had to call our carphone warehouse branch to clarify the requirement. Our calls weren't answered though we had to queue for ages. Now it seems that our ludicrous deal (too many free minutes and texts) don't even cover calls to carphone warehouse itself. So I'm being asked if I want to increase my monthly cap. Why can't these guys give a product that is priced honestly?

Although I have had some tough experiences with this company. I have to say not many people take the time to write a review of something good that's happened. Today I visited the carphone warehouse durham arnison centre where i was given the time and patience by ryan who renewed my screen protector for me he went above and beyond what he needed and for that I am very grateful.

Went with my 1 year old daughter to Manchester Fort branch and asked for a contract phone for my 16 year old daughter. Application was declined (still trying to find out why). Was told that my best bet was a 15 gig per month pay as you go contract with another company and that they had run out of sim cards from that company. Went to the company to be told that they do not provide any 15 gig contracts of any kind. Went back to Carphone Warehouse. Was referred to another of their shops 40 minutes drive away who have a lot of pay as you go customers and who would have the right kind of sim card. Went there for them to confirm that there was no such contract. Realised that the salesman had decided that somebody who was declined in an application was not the kind of person he wanted in his shop and simply told me the first thing that came to mind to get rid of me. Long way to take a one year old on a wild goose chase. Would reccomend anyone to avoid this company.

SIM free pixel XL not 2 months old, microphone fault. If i had got it through Google store, Google would exchange it straight away. But as i got it through CPW they send it off to be repaired and it is going to take 16 days to get back. Plus no lone phone as it was already out on lone. This company deserves to go out of business no customer care what so ever. Avoid take your business elsewhere.
