I have bought a Mercedes, first day out of the garage, the cruise control and the Abs hazard lights on, got it in for repair, they had no idea what to do with it. 3 month later, same issue, but this time more electrical stuff add to the problem, driver window open itself, bonnet sensor are off all the time, parking sensor on and off, not reliable at all, off road option not working, Abs not working, cruise control not working .... So I've called in as I have extended Guarante for 3 more years, booked me in , AND THE ONLY THING THEY DONE IS JUST LOOKED AT IT. SERIOUSLY ???? PAID GUARANTE AND THEY ARE NOT DOING ANYTHING. I booked the service the same say, paid for already, and BECAUSE THEY HAVENT READ THE NOTES PROPERLY THEY HAVEN'T DONE IT. WHAT CAN I SAY. LOOK FOR A DIFFERENT COMPANY, THEY ARE NOT GONNA HELP YOU WITH ANYTHING AND IT DOES NOT MATTER IF YOU PAY FOR IT OR NOT, THEY JUST DONT CARE. THANK YOU FOR A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. DO NOT RECOMEND.

I had an oil change scheduled for 8:00AM on 12/20. I was there on time. Sometime later the desk person came over and recommended a few extra things of which I added a tire rotation. Over an hour and a half later my car is still not done for a 15-minute job. Finally, 1 hr 45 minutes later (9:45AM) the service desk brings my bill to the check-out desk! Other people who came after me were out much sooner. Needless to say, THAT IS THE LAST TIME I GO TO CAR SHOP FOR ANY MAINTENACE. THEY WASTED MY TIME AND WERE MORE CONCERNED WITH PEOPLE COMING FOR A PRICE TO DO SUCH AND SUCH THAN A PERSON WAITING THERE FOR THEIR SERVICE TO BE COMPLETED!

Found a car i wanted at the Ashton-under-Lyne branch to be told it was at a different showroom, cut it short! i was going on holiday was told the car will be ready when i got home payed the deposit to secure the car, i received a phone call while i was away the car failed safety checks not road worthy, they informed me they had another car same make model higher mileage though! sent all the information regarding second car, 3 days later received another phone call bearing in mind i was still abroad to be told there's faults with the second car and unable to sell it to me, ive never felt so let down and stressed out, the next day got another call they've found a car make model the same but different colour again the mileage was even higher, to be honest i was getting peed off by this time, told them i will be in touch when i get back to the uk, out of curiosity i looked up the history [mot ect] off all 3 cars, funny thing is the first two cars had past every MOT! the 3rd car had failed its MOT a few times tutu, anyway i emailed the carshop with my findings and concerns i had with the car, then to be told its passed all the security checks just had a full service all issues was fixed and its passed its MOT! the car was ready to be picked up, sorted paper work out logbook etc, got in the car to test drive it make sure everything was ok took the wrong turning and ended up on the motorway stuck in traffic argggg all you could hear was banging underneath the car was pulling too one side, i had to carry on driving home because the showroom had closed, seriously i felt like crying, phoned them the next morning and spoken with paul the mechanic told him about the issues and to come and pick the car up and get it fixed otherwise i want my money back, they picked the car up next day, they had my car in the garage for a week, report finding and faults we're! Front Shock Absorber Internaly FAILED and Knocking, Top mount, Top Bearing. NSF outer CV Boot Split. Steering off centre. total price £660.70!! i didn't pay carshop did, What upset me more is how on earth can they sell you car for £12,000 pound knowing its got faults and for them to tell me its passed all the safety checks load bullsh@it...

Most unscrupulous company I have the displeasure of dealing with in my life, my son bought a car from Norwich branch on the short journey home the engine warning lights began flashing, long story over 3yrs now and still no response apart from Blackhorse demands to pay the stopped payments, through self investigating and paperwork it transpires V5c registered in my sons name nearly three months before he had even seen the car, on top of this the MOT performed at their workshop in Wales is contradictory dated, scrutinising the paper work which took 3 months to come. I found documentation from the cars previous owner of garage work performed dated three weeks prior to him trading the car as P/X through carshop Wales branch the mileage recorded at that time was exactly 60,000 mileage at point of sale to my son 63,863, I also found in the paperwork a “for your eyes only invoice” from Blackhorse to the salesman who sold the car detailing a very large commission payment. Having given all this information previously Blackhorse Finance sent field agent Mike Latta from Crystal collections to reclaim the car because I had refused to pay anymore payments the car had been sorned and was waiting for the replacement engine to be removed and I informed Mr Latta exactly that unless my claims and complaints were investigated by their legal department. Mr Latta has now refused to answer my emails to confirm he had passed the photographic evidence to their legal department that he had personally requested from me! These two companies come hand in hand if you purchase a car from Carshop. Buyer Beware!

just nowNEW 6 months we have had our car with no logbooks to find out that they had put it in someone else name. Still not sorted joke. Promised a refund on our car tax for the inconvenience they have caused us and haven't received it and can't get through to anyone emails and phone calls ignored. Avoid this company like the plague. I am in the process of taking legal action due to the issues we have had over the last 6 months with this company

Salesmans knowlage of vehicle poor, told me sd card for sat nav would come with car and was removed for security, questioned on collection to be told model dosnt have it (VW records say it does!!) Was cash sale but still had to wait around for nearly 2hrsDrove off , relised . Drove back and told no it doesnt . Added extras at POS due to pushing coating and mot cover ,even though they will mot for cheaper without cover . Feels like a prodution factory ....salesman hounds you on entering , gets you to show him your phone for car you after ( even though he cod easily fund it if he tried on his computer, ) get passed to buisness manager , takes deposit , takes rfl, passes you to handover specialist who goes through it all again, tells me it needs servicing and to bring it back!! I tell him im told its done ... yes he says, (has it or not? ) then walks you almost to the car , asks if any questions , i say dont think so ...he turns on heels and left .. I drove to main road ...relise satnav cards still missing , go back to be told nahh hasnt got it , ask gorna refund ...spend next 30 mins trying to be told.im wrong, they give in and return my car to me ... . Deposit back in 3 -5 days , came back in 4 , but tax im still waiting for 3 weeks later ... oh and a email asking to check my pocjets for keys ,has they had missplaced them. . .. i threw them on the desk of the buisness manager!!!! Still waiting the apology from them for that ... so looked on auto trader for samencar , found one at main dealers with 2yrs warranty, mot insurance breakdown cover and fully serviced for same price and gave me 100 quid more PX .... check all options before going here ..they are not worth it

THEY DON T GIVE A F*** ABOUT COSTUMERS! IS JUST A BIG LIE! I would leave 0 stars but i can t, brought the car three weeks ago, first at all, they remove the car mats from the car, wich was on it when i did test drive it, i ve called them lots of times, same text "were very sorry bla bla apologies bla bla". I ve called them to let them know about the issues 2 days after I brought the car, I was supposed to go in holiday with it... they said they will call me back we gonna fix everything by the 2nd when I supposed to go in holiday, I was waiting for a phone call and nothing happened, I ve called back after 4 days very angry and asked them to return the car, they said is not possible(while on the handbook handed by them it sais something else) I told them clear enough that I will leave on 2nd but as usual they didn t give a f***, so they booked me to Halfords on 6 after 2 weeks been calling several times, obviously I was in holiday, i couldn t go. I came back from holiday, I ve called them to fix the issus because the active grill doesn t open and the engine gets overheated, it shakes when i stop at the red light and many other issues, i ve called them 4 days ago, still no answer and my patience is running out.

Needed a car quickly and found one, first and last time buying with these cowboys from Bristol, hard sell to buy extra products you don’t need, left waiting two and a half hours just to pay and collect car, unfortunately scammed into buying one of their advantage packages, wasn’t made aware it had advisories on mot until they had grubby little mitts on my cash in their bank now have to fork out for 2 tyres and 2 brake pads, after complaining made to feel really uncomfortable I could see staff looking at me and laughing, I paid cash probably get better treatment if financing as they make more money out of you. Not good carma for customers only their bank account. Very hard to get information on complaints process. This company is owned by Synter group, prestige cars which many cannot afford but they turn a blind eye to their subsidiary company’s ripping off people who have a small budget

Found a car on line at carshop Sheffield, put a reserve on it so we could go and look at it. Arrived at the carshop and went in and was greeted by a lovley young lady who went to find Curtis the salesman who was going to help us. He had the car ready for my daughter to go and see it, took it for a test drive and she loved it. So we bought it, from sales with Curtis who explained the process of the sale very well,to business manager Johnerthen who took the details and payment and explained the extras on offer but felt no pressure to buy add ons, to tilly in handover who soughted out the tax and helped my daughter in the car to do various things..ie radio, heating etc...to Bianca who took the reservation who is lovley and Mark handover manager also a nice person who passed us to tilly. And big thanks to John for a lovley cup of coffee!! such a excellent service from all the staff at Sheffield Carshop,. Thank You . From Helen and family.

Agreed online valuation for my vehicle, £18350, was looking to buy a vehicle for £27000. The salesman told me the max he would allow on mine was £17000. Carpoints guaranteed valuation is a con. Don't waste your time. Would not recommend

This company is totally not trust-worthy! I am a client buying a car from CarShop late Oct 2021. Every single time one staff is telling me one thing, another staff is telling me a totally different story - from car test drive, purchase and after-sale support. Before I did the purchase, the salesperson is telling me insurance can cover 4-5 persons of different relations, while at last process of payment with their finance staff, they say they could only accept spouse. When I am promised for 5-day drive away insurance - due to a fault by their staff who started the insurance before my payment confirmation, I was asked to accept the insurance being started before my payment confirmation, and this would shorten my protection coverage period and at first they refuse to arrange the insurance starting on the purchase day for me before my payment is done. (While at last they changed and could do for me - but I would need to argue before I could get what I should have) Third, around 1 week after my purchase, my car could not start when I jumped in. I called CarShop hotline and they say they could not arrange investigation & repair service until 2 weeks' time, and they offer me to self arrange a local garage to do the repair and checking, while CarShop would arrange recovery service and they promised they would handle payment for me instead of my upfront payment and reimbursement process. On a call to CarShop to check the time of arrival of the towing service, another staff of CarShop told me that they could not handle payment for me and I would need to do up-front payment. That's a total different story again. After all, from my experience of purchase & after sales support with CarShop, they are totally not trust-worthy.

I purchase a Kia Soul in 2019 when… I purchase a Kia Soul in 2019 when first arrived in the country. I am now trying to resell the car and I found that the vehicle is registered with VOSA mileage discrepancy. I was not made aware of this when I purchased the car. 2015/2016 MOT I called customer support this morning. They asked me some security questions. This includes 1.name 2.address from three years ago 3.email address the 4.reg number 5.and also some purchase i made with the car three years ago. Not being able to remember some arbitral question and refusing to offer a different one they could not help me this was my review in 2019 Wow wow wow great service Wow wow wow great service Thank you. Well from a great salesman things have gone downhill from there. Air conditioning was not working, air intake pipe broken and not one tyre that matched the next. The left front tyre was so badly perished it had big cracks in it. No courtesy car. 3 working days to repair the car. After a 114 point check you would think they would see these things. Upside is no complaints about fixing it.

I purchased a vehicle that needed a part from Japan as it was an Infiniti. I waited patiently for months for this part to arrive and be repaired. My husband and I called and spoke to every manager and communicated with the salesman and other salesman the status of the arrival of part, repair, and delivery timeframe. Prior to purchasing the vehicle we mentioned in October 2021 a trip to California is planned until November 8. As they were not certain of the arrival date of the part, the salesman said it was fine. I asked if I could pay in full for the vehicle, drive it home and when the part came in I would come in for the repair. Jake said no. For some reason, Jake was the boss of us and texts messages show the aggression that began to take place. While away the part came in, Jake called my husband and stated to pick up the car by tonight knowing he was in California and Chester Springs is in Pennsylvania. We spoke to Anthony and Greg both managers that said everything was fine. Greg and I set a date and time for a pick up. I asked him if I can pay the car in full. Due to the Airlines, the flight back was cancelled in Dallas. My husband called and reset the date for Monday Oct 25, 2021. Sunday I texted the salesman to let him know we will be picking the vehicle up the next morning. No reply. We arrived 1 hr before CarShop opened. I walked the entire lot. I was told when they opened the previous Thursday they decided to put my car up for re-sale on the internet and it was transferred to another CarShop in Hatboro and sold Saturday October 23, 2021. The day of my pickup with my plates as Greg the manager and I discussed new PA plates. I have been paying insurance on this vehicle for 2 months. I am stranded. They tried to point the finger at my husband and I saying we did not communicate with Jake and he was in control, though times he was busy or off. They use their personal cell phones not the Company Phones stating CarShop incoming call. We honestly were pains constantly calling. This was a cold and callous act. They want to blame their bosses. We shall see bc no one contacted my husband or myself and said the vehicle is up for re-sale on the internet as of Thursday Oct 21,2021. There quality in cars have declined since the name change. They show them dirty and not ready for sale. If this vehicle was ready for sale, this would not have happened. Be careful of buying a vehicle that is not detailed or needs repair and they take your money. Then of course you believe you bought a car that’s getting repaired and waiting over a month for the repairs to be completed. Then Jake demanded immediate pickup while we were in California not on vacation. Seek other places such as either a dealership or Auto Lenders etc. I have been a customer of carSense multiple times, all fine. If you deal with them, make certain you leave with the vehicle, if it’s in need of repair, it can turn into a mess and like me stranded without a vehicle, loss time. Good luck to everyone if you work with the company.

Wow visited Warrington branch today to purchase a small second car. I have never felt so much pressure to buy, it was awful. Thank goodness I walked away. They even tried the another customer had come to put a deposit on the same car trick. Their face was a picture when we said let them have it and we turned and ran, car purchased later in the day from another dealer. Lucky escape I think.

There are 2 reasons why this is a 5-star review – BEN MEADOWS & CARLA PALLESTER! They are both an absolute credit to the company and other members of staff could learn a thing or two from them. Ben had us at “Hello” – polite, well mannered and his honesty made our whole experience dealing with the Car Shop better than it could have been with the issue we had. He took time to listen to us and never fobbed us off with answers he thought we wanted to hear. We weren’t even his customer, but he could see how stressed we were and wanted the best possible outcome for us and the company. Same with Carla – she bent over backwards to ensure we were happy with every decision they made and helped us with the issues even when we were told by the main dealer there wasn’t a fault with the car. Glad to say that on a test drive Carla experienced the fault for herself. Happy to say we now have a stunning car and would highly recommend the Nottingham Car Shop to anyone!

Engine management light on car before leaving showroom Went to the Wolverhampton showroom on Sunday 10th October to test drive a Range Rover Evoque HSE dynamic lux Reg OU16 KBX I had reserved the car with £99 deposit. When a young lad was asked to accompany me on my test drive, I noticed the fuel indicator stated only 4 miles remaining before empty, I was assured it would be fine. when we got back to the showroom the fuel indicator showed 0 miles left. I wanted to pay for the car in full by debit card, I was duped to having £3000 on finance as they stated that having finance on the car the 2 year warranty I was also sold would mean the finance company would be able to put pressure on the warranty company to fix any issues that I may experience with the car. Soon after I paid £23499 by debit card two managers approached the desk where I was sitting at with the sales manager, They informed me that as they were putting a small amount of fuel in the car for me to drive home, the engine management light had come on and I would not be able to take the car home. They told me they will get it into their work shop and give it their full priority to get the issues resolved. I had to pay for a taxi £25 back home and leave the car I had just paid for that developed an engine fault before even leaving the showroom!!! I emailed the manager that sold me the car that same evening informing him I was not willing to take delivery of a car that had not even left the showroom yet and its already in their workshop! No Reply Back!!! I called next day 11th Oct 9:57am and spoke to another manager telling him the reason I wanted to cancel the purchase of the car. He took my details and informed me he would start the process and call me back to update me on the refund. At 16:32 I was forced to call the Wolverhampton showroom up as I still had not received the promised call back. I was told the manager I spoke to that morning was on another call and they would get him to call me back, I advised the person that took my call all my calls to the showroom were being recorded. 10-15 minutes later the manager called me back, He had not started the cancelation as they were "short staffed" and would call me back tomorrow around midday with an update on the full refund I was seeking. I informed the manager, all calls were being recorded, I felt I had to do this after reading the shocking reviews both on their customers review page and here on trustpilot ! It seams Carshop are dishonest and liars they also upsell products you really don't want or need. I will be asking BBC consumers program to look into this DISHONEST company so more people are wise to this shockingly bad company's practices. I will update on how I get on with my full refund! Wish I had read the reviews prior to dealing with this company! My advise would be to avoid and buy elsewhere

No concerns with the staff at Car shop Doncaster, however the claims of the dealership regarding ‘price match’ are a hoax. They do not live up to the ethos the dealership is claiming to portray. And that is very disappointing to a customer. Would not return and would not recommend !

Do not sell your car to these cowboys! They have got my car after after days and days of them telling me “the money will be in your account today” I still haven’t received anything!!! Every time you call you just get another lie and a dead line to when the money will be in your bank that they will miss. I was told 1-2 days for payment I will now be sitting at a week. No problems with the car an easy transaction. Probably already sold it and just trying to earn interest off the money. AVIOD AVIOD AVIOD

I have never experience such horrifying experience from a car company. my family had to deal with about 2 months of horrific service with having them fix our vehicles, then having them to tell us that they could not fix our vehicles problem, then to have us having to trade in the vehicle back to them to where they gave us less than what we owed "because the vehicle they sold us was not drivable". because they could not fix it. Having us no choice but to purchase another vehicle from them with an interest rate of 11.99 percent. What a horrific experience for my family. DO NOT go to CARSHOP for service, finance, purchase or have a minute to speak with their sales departments. All of they above were poor in my rating. less than one star.
