Took over 2 months to organise. Sorting photos in advance was a “painful” process. Charger working well in first 2 weeks. Takes 2.5 hours to charge from 0%. Fitter, Tom, was excellent. Arrived on tine, polite, did a neat and quick job.

Clear communication throughout. Installer was friendly and efficient. Very satisfied.

After 1 week, so far, OK. It took just under 2 months from order to fitting, which under current circumstances was much better than I had feared. First appointment was cancelled due to illness, but rebooked for the following week. E-mails were answered swiftly, politely and effectively. The installer arrived in a Chargemaster branded van and was friendly and polite, quickly completing an efficient and professional fit as well as taking the time to explain how the unit works. There are 3 niggles though - firstly and most importantly, I'm not clear how or when I will get my wiring installation certificate, but with other electricians it has taken over a month, so not panicking yet. It is needed by law and the lack of one could invalidate house insurance should there be a fire. Secondly, the Chargevision website is truly dreadful. It keeps logging me out (even on different browsers and differet machines) and when I do get in, it contains no info on charges to date whatsoever and tells me my car is unplugged. Finally, the unit itself, whilst working well, has clearly had a BP Pulse sticker applied over the previous branding, and this is squint. A small thing, but at £950 a pop I expected better and first impressions count. I can also see that this is a common problem with other units. So, good service, good installation, but disappointing hardware visual quality and truly awful website.

Very happy with installation. All on time and straightforward. So easy to use! Price good bearing in mind government are subsidising it too.

The installers were 5* excellent and did the work cleanly and efficiently. However I bought and electric car to save money and the cost of about £800 to install the charger seems very steep. I don’t get the car for another 4 weeks so cannot comment on whether it works or how quickly it will charge my car.

Fault with charging station that has been present for two months. Reported three times and was advised that it had been prioritised for repair, but still no action. Since then, I've tried contacting them numerous times and spent hours on hold before giving up and never even actually speaking with anyone! Dreadful!

Went with BMW recommendation but the engagement process was painful - prior to the installation approval I had to chase the team at every step following a totally unnecessary 2 week delay. Mixed messages - all done by phone so missed email only told be told subsequently that they could not call externally as phones were not enabled. Also expensive compared to alternatives - no spec provided for what I paid so no idea what I was getting. Once approved the installation team (outside contractors) were responsive, courteous and professional. Just wish I had checked Trust Pilot before engaging with BP Pulse as most of the experiences reflect mine.

What a shambles of a company. Public chargers not working for months, dreadful customer service, shoddy IT, website for access to wall box not working, poor app, slow install, terrible processes, etc. If you can avoid using them do so at all costs.

All very straightforward and only took less than a month from date of order to the time of fitting - albeit with a brief telephone reminder from me. Fitting took less than 2 hours with a very neat job. Seems to be working fine and takes about 1 hour for a complete charge to my hybrid Mercedes as opposed to 3 hours via the domestic supply. Would recommend.

I paid £238 to get a non RCD socket installed at your request. I sent all the photographs of my meter in as requested and then on your advice had the point installed. When the fitter arrived on site he informed me that it was not needed and you should have realised this when you saw the meter photos. I have sent an email about this to you but no reply Not a great service. Fitter was excellent Claire Sutton

The charger is great, it doesn't take up much room and charges the car quite quickly

On the 9th of April I filled in all the forms and provided photos of my fuse box and installation point. On 14th April my application was approved by Western power distribution. Bp kept insisting they have not received approval and can't move forward. I contacted western power and was informed they had approved the installation twice the first being approved on the 14th April. Western power emailed me a copy of the approval so that I can forward to BP. It has now been 7 days and we are now on the 31st May and I have still not heard from BP. It is now a month and a half past approval. This company does not know what they are doing nor do they reply to your emails. I have now decided to go with a reputable installer who I can trust and who will respond to my emails. I dread to think what the customer service will be like once installation is complete of there are any issues.

Customer service is shocking! No response to emails, no reply to calls. After a lot of stress we finally had the charger fitted on a Sunday. The engineer was ver good

I had the opportunity to receive a free charger with my new Smart car and so I chose an untethered one. First BP Chargemaster tried to upsell an isolating switch to me at an exorbitant price of £150, and then they insisted that their charger is (dangerously) installed with no RCD protection to a vacant socket. Normally, this would have required an expensive extra consumer unit, so more unnecessary upselling. However, I held out and insisted that they install to a blank space protected by a Type B RCD, and after much debate they relented. The install went OK and after they had finished, I added back in my Tesla charger via a changeover switch. I asked for a copy of the manual that covers the use of the switch, but the BP Pulse needed supervisor approval to send me the manual (not received yet). **ANGRY** I first tried to charge the Tesla, but it only charged at 16A making me pay for peak rate power rather than E7 power as the charging time over-ran. The charging never got recorded on my account on the BP App either. There is a switch hidden in their connection box. so I switched it to 32A charging and wired the switch so it could be operated from outside the box, see photo. Then tonight, I connected the charger to my Smart car with charging delayed until 2am, but no, even though the schedule is set on the App, it started charging straight away, so I disconnected the fast charger and connected the Granny charger that is connected to my E7 supply. So, I have a charger that does not work properly, an App for it that just does not work at all, and a company called BP Chargemaster who are absolutely hopeless. One star is one star too many! BP Order number is 12862 if they want to reach out to me, but I have no expectation. I cannot recommend this company at all, best avoided.

The customer service was shocking. I was not offered a site survey, so we had to take pictures of everything. This lead to the need to update our electrical supply, which I know nothing about. Our electrician spoke to the technical team on the phone and they told him incorrect information, so it needed updating again. Secondly, I installed a nice oak post for the charger to be placed on, and the installation engineer couldn’t fit it the post as there was no trench for the armoured cable. This was not mentioned at all. Finally, it was an incredibly slow process. All of these problems would have not happened if a site survey in person, rather than asking me (who knows nothing about these things) to do it. Now that it is in, it works just fine and I have no complaints of the unit itself.

Simply a dreadful company to deal with. Wholly incompetent. Still awaiting charger installation 6 weeks after promised delivery date. Steer well clear. They will drive you mad with incomprehensible automated messages. They never do what they promise and will take your money for all work in advance.

Unfortunately the fitting of my Homecharger took way too long in my opinion. The car was ordered back in early February and the charger was fitted in mid May, and I realise this isn't wholly the fault of BP, however BP were advised early April and the Survey (done by Carer) was extremely long winded. However, the contractor used for fitting the chargers was extremely helpful pleasant.
