Never ever shop Currys again. I bought a laptop. 'Assistant' (who seemed totally bored) insisted on taking my name and address and persisted in trying to sell me add on rubbish that I made clear I did not want. Tried without success to call Currys to get them to remove my details from their data base. 24/7 number not open!. Currys do not advertise they will insist on data capture when selling goods so their advertising is at best misreading. Never again have anything to do with Currys even if the last retailer on earth.

I had a washing machine delivered today and was very pleased with the delivery staff, before they moved my washing machine, they asked me for polish to protect my Lino floor, which impressed me to begin with, they were careful bringing the washing machine into my flat (i have a small hallway) and they tested the washing machine worked before they left, which it did (and does). I was also pleased with the price of the washing machine, it went down £520 to £300.

Just let you know. For delivery I can give 5 stars, because they people running 33 drops per day, plus make installations 15 and take old one. Company don't think about you. You just running 7:00 in the morning and finish about 22:00 o clock in night. They people don't have a break and work 16h per day. A lot of people don't understand English. For the installation I can give 0.5 stars they absolutely crack. They don't understand what his doing. I'm working there Csc drivers. There a lot of problems.....

Ordered for installation and recycling service on a washing machine. The delivery men behaved rudely and asked me to phone up for an evidence of my order that includes the recycling. This was genuinely a fault in the currys system where it would say this service was included but if i miss to click a check box that service wont be provided. The old washing machine cable was cut and now standing non-operational. But it is the experience that is traumatic. They are trained or just give a feeling that they can take customers for granted and politeness / facilitating a resolution was not part of their job responsibility. Upon calling Currys call centre, they said since they have already done the delivery, they cant take the old machine back and I had to in person go and drop it in a nearby currys store or call up british charities. This will be my first and last interaction with them eventhough it may be a one off incident. This chain does not care for customers and very soon everyone will echo my opinion.

Went to your Hereford store after seeing on line a delonghi kettle that we required. KBJ3001BK. Priced at £39.99. When I went to the store the only kettle to match was priced at £44. I asked one assistant he he could help me, he said go and ask some other assistant over there? What went through my head was poor customer service? I now ask another assistant if she could help, she scanned the kettle confirmed the price was £39.99 . Not a big deal? She hands me the item . I now go to pay for the item , no greet such good afternoon, - morning was everything ok, or is there anything else we can help with. Where was the customer service. I will not shop at currys if this is the attitude. Many companies can supply these items today. Your losing the plot.

Customer service does not mean send customers who order expensive items just one automated email with order reference and point them to a tracker function on your website, that's it nothing else! The tracker function gives minimal information, when I call 'customer service' no body answers for hours, I have been trying for days. You even have an automated message saying calls will take long to answer to dissuade people. So I sent an email to Currys customer services and no reply, obviously you don't invest in hiring people to actually answer calls and emails leaving customers with other way to contact you. Its a farce. So I took one of your wonderful minimalistic surveys on your website, without actually expecting anyone to read that. I feel HELPLESS and angry that I am not getting this thing called CUSTOMER SERVICE from you!! At currys CUSTOMER SERVICE = CUSTOMER AVOIDANCE = INCREASED PROFIT. I really wish I had not chosen Currys now. I am absolutely shocked. What world are they living in, almost all the other companies I order stuff from in UK send regular updates, answer their phone or at least emails. I can't even cancel my order as I can't get hold of anyone to do that. You know its not that the item is delayed , its that you leave your customers with no other info or way to contact you.

For the second time they have charged me for services that i dont want. When questioned they claim to have emailed my 12 year old son who has never opened any emails and confirmed that their services are required. The After sales team for Knowhow have yet again been completely unhelpful. I will not be buying anything from them again.

ordered an integrated fridge freezer with installation and disposal of old unit, the unit arrived and the "trained installers " took one look and said the doors are on the wrong side , and they could not switch them round , it required the visit of a trained engineer , but not to worry they would mark the job as priority and get someone out the next day and there would be no charge, an email would be sent that day , needless to say no email , rang customer services , ha ha, what a misnomer 30 mins on hold! Told if I had not specified which way the doors were to hang then it was my problem , pointed out that the ordering process did not allow for specifying the hang of the doors and I had paid £80 for fitting and disposal of old unit , there only suggestion was that I got someone to reverse the doors and fit it at my expense, this would be on top of the £ 80., I Had paid them , to put it mildly I was not impressed with their suggestion , I would like to say that Curry`s service is appalling but I can not because there isn't any service, take my advice and do not under any circumstances purchase from Curry`s.

Delivery Never Came... After 3 attempts and still no machine. Arranged for the item to be delivered on Wed (i took the day off work especially) come the end of the day the item was not here. I wasn't called or notified. Rearranged for the next day. I received a call from the delivery driver saying they were 5 mins away. 2 hours later still no sign of them. They didn't even show. Rearranged for this morning and still no sign. 3 days and still no washing machine. Absolutely the worst delivery service i have ever experienced. I shall never use this awful company again. I shall spread the word about how awful this company is. Knew i should have order off ao.com.

Currys reviewed by Shamz Begum Shamz Begum FULL PRICE for SECOND hand washing machine I perchased an LG washing machine from curry's on the 17 of October 2016,it arrived on the 19th. I had it fitted only to find that the wash keeps freezing. I was very disappointed to top everything I just lost my grandfather. Now I had to be on the phone to curry's after my grandfathers funeral. Curry's customer service passed me back and forth, I was on the phone to them for three hours before Rubeka at customer service actually resolved the issue. Not I was told to call customer service again in order to get a refund on my installation. I spoke to a guy called Sikander who told me to wait till they replaced my washing machine with a new one before they can do my installation free. And asked me to call and speak to him once it arrived. My new machine arrived on the 3rd of Nov 2016. I called customer service for my installation I was told that there are too many people working there and that I can't get through to sikander. I had to then tell them what had happened all over again. Like 3 hours on the phone was not enough. Thomas then tells me that they can't do the installation free. After speaking to her for a further 2hour he then agreed to do it. I then noticed while on the phone that my "new" washing machine had no seals on it only a box over it. I look inside and I find the cord to connect the washing machine covered in thick layer of grease. Do I asked weather it was new Thomas at curry's tells me that he will find out and call me right back. After 30 minutes he did call me back and said that the second machine I received may be a used one our line then got cut off. I waited for Thomas to call me back there was no call after an hour I called customer service and they said there was no notes on the system. I spent a further 2 hour telling the same story. By now me and my husband where fighting as he wanted to keep the washing machine as we have two kids and 3 bags of clothes that have piled up. Instead of exchange of the product curry's offer us £20 voulcure to spend in store. Ridicules if it wasn't for my husband I would have thrown the washing machine out and asked them to collect it from there. Very very unhappy. Customer service was so unperfessional. Never shopping there again. I payed full price for a second hand product. I wouldn't trust curry's. Be carefull

Never have I had such poor service from a company as I had had with Currys/KnowHow. Incompetent is an understatement. Ordered a Logik-LVD7W15 Tumble dryer on 4th October easily done online, delivery completed as stated the following day 5th October, from that moment it all started to spiral into a never ending nightmare. The tumble dryer after 1 use broke, call Know How who arranged for an engineer to come out and look at the machine. He did arrive and stated that they would need to order a part for this and it will take a week or so and would call. I was not happy about this so contacted Know How who said they would cancel the engineer and get an uplift code and will call when the uplift of the dryer and a replacement would be sent. Received a call to state what day they would be attending. I presumed from the call this was going to be the uplift/replacement. WRONG. On stated date an engineer called looked at the machine and said they would need to order the part. GROUNDHOG DAY. Yet another lengthy call to Know How and this time after an hour and a half the nice gentleman told me that the following day he would get an uplift code and I was to contact him the following day between 1pm and 2pm. I duly called as requested and he was not available. Salma who was now looking after my call went through everything with me again 1 hour and 20 minutes later we had an uplift code and the system went down. Duly as stated Salma who was very obliging called back. System back up and placed order for replacement. No stock available. I was not prepared to wait as by now it was 2nd November, I refused to pay any more money so manager obliged and an alternative was authorised at a slightly higher price. Thank you Salma, result, I had a new tumble dryer being delivered the following day. Work was rearranged so I would be available today 3rd November. Email received stating that the delivery would be between 13:35 and 17:35. At 18:00 called Know How who spoke to the depot and informed me that there would still be delivery however it would be a lot later, at 20:16 received a call from a very nice delivery driver called Chris White. Have to say he was very pleasant had better customer service skills that the other people I have dealt with in that department. Unfortunately the delivery would not be taking place As it stands I have for 4 weeks been on a merry go round of hassle and still have no tumble dryer. 4 days of waiting in for initial delivery, repair man, repair man number 2 and the failed delivery I am hoping this can all be resolved at some point in the near future but at the moment I am just losing the will to live.

I write with the following grievances, with regards to goods paid for and unbelievable delivery problems that are beyond belief. I recently purchased a fridge freezer at the Littlehampton Currys store, and explained that the road to my house is narrow that they may need a smaller vehicle and that when they arrive due to previous problems to take the item down the side alley to the back of my house so that it could be placed in the utility room . I received a text on 18 October 2016 advising me that it will be delivered on 26 October 2016. I took the day off for this delivery and on 26 October 2016 at 7:04 AM, I received a text telling me that the item will be delivered between 7 AM and 10:59 AM. Around 9 AM I received a voicemail message advising me that the delivery will be with me at 9:30 AM. I then received a further two missed calls what state was looking after my young child. I then received a further call from a female who I believe was in the delivery vehicle who began the conversation we have extreme attitude saying that they have tried to call me and I was not answering. I explained that I do not have my phone attached to my hip and that I was looking after my young child and I did not like her attitude. She then went on to say that they understand my road is narrow and asked for my advice about both of the vehicle would fit down it. I replied by saying that a confident driver can do it as we have emergency vehicles and other large vehicles that are coming to the road. I think get a further missed call from a male left a voicemail message asking me to come and direct and guide them into the road. I think got another call at 9:32 AM from a male the same male who also had attitude, saying we tried to call you several times and I was not answering. I explained again the phone is not attached to my hip at the double young child to look after, and what is it that you expect from me. I explained that I should not be asked to direct them into my road in case an accident is caused and that they are here to deliver an item and not to pester me. I explained to the male where my house was, which was 250 to 300 metres from the entrance to the road and straight down. He said they could not get the Laurie down the road , so I said if they wheeled it up, I would wait with the door open, and when they arrive I would direct them to the alley way around the back so that they can deliver it to the utility room. This mail said okay hung up. Went to the front door and opened it I can see the know-how Laurie at the end of the road and I can see a blackmail in a yellow high viz jacket looking straight down at me no more than 250 metres away. A male and a lorry went backwards and falls and then disappeared out of my view. I was left waiting at my front door for nearly 45 minutes and no one arrived with the goods. As no one had arrived or phoned me as to what was going on I decided to call the customer service number and then the delivery department. I explained all the above and was on the phone for a further 50 minutes. I also added that I thought it was disgusting that the delivery driver vehicle disappeared and did not give me a call as to what was happening. As I write, I have unbelievably not been called with any explanation about anything. I have taken a day off work, spent time and money on the phone all of which I will never get back. As I explained when I raised my complaint, KNOWHOW clearly do not know how to deliver to customers! I have never ever been dealt with at this before made to look a fool by standing at my door and not been contacted with regards to what has happened with my order. This brings me onto a previous order which I had to raise a complaint about and repeated on Wednesday just gone. I don't ordered a small freezer and was advised that they will deliver on a date and time and again having waited at home they could not deliver on the time allocated. When the item did arrive I open the door and without even asking me they wield the item in creating mud and dirt tracks on our carpet. I received a £10 letter voucher, and had a phone call from someone asking me to call them back. I call back several times leaving voicemail messages and the same person never got back to me I was a text them several times and the compound are still not been dealt with and this is going back to at least June this year. I've got so fed up waiting for someone to rectify this matter that that's a pay for the carpets to be cleaned I wait your response and prompt action with regards to all of the above which is totally unacceptable.

Having delivered a damaged fridge/freezer curry's seem to expect the customer to suffer all the inconvenience and spend all the time organising the delivery of a replacement whilst they do the minimum they can get away with. Their staff are unhelpful, verging on rude and almost totally unapologetic!! This is certainly a company to steer clear of!!

I could not fault the staff at the store, but when we unpacked the item we had bought, 5 items which should have been included were missing. You cannot contact the store directly, which I find appalling, and to return the item would have meant a round trip of 40+ miles. The person to whom I spoke was very dismissive and I found his attitude "take it or leave it". It will be some time, if ever, I use Curry's again. In complete contrast the item's manufacturers, when contacted directly, could not have been more helpful and will be sending the missing items free of charge. Thank you Shark vacuums.

Delivered to my 81yr old mum. told her she needed to get to b n q to get a longer pipe then call currys to rearrange the connection because he couldnt fit it! He wabted to leave her with no washing machine. She refused to sign for it. After a long argument he finally miraculously found a longer pipe in his van. Hmm. Not impressed !!
