Salesperson could not get delivery and set up date on his screen for my tv. Took 40 minutes to do this and pay Said he would need to ring me with a date. He did not do this. Took 20 mins for 2 calls to main office as no one rang back again. Told l would get a time the day before delivery. No call again. Arrived 8am so l had just got up. Driver said delivery was down for around 6.20 am. Poor customer service.

I was buying a TV for my daughters Christmas and told the salesman that I just wanted the TV and no add-ons, with this he tried to sell me a TV stand, sound bar and a wall bracket, l again told him no I didn’t need anything else. The salesman then went and got his manager, who was told the same and proceeded to try and sell me extra cover for the TV and if I took it out I could cancel it a month later, so I’ve got to ask what’s the point of having this extra cover, the manager wasn’t happy because I said no

I have bought several large items from currys over the past few months and have always been happy with the quality of the goods and the delivery until now. I bought a new electric cooker less than 2 weeks ago and within days it was clear something was wrong with the top oven which tripped the rcds in main fuse box everytime it was used. Getting through to customer service was the first obstacle and I was on hold for 50 minutes before the piped music stopped and an advisor spoke to me. Having explained the fault he said no problem we can get that fixed for you, he then said he would transfer me to the engineers who would make an appointment to come out and fix the cooker, if only, I was duly put through only to hear a message saying nobody was available to take my call, I left my name and number but have had no response whatsoever. It's so frustrating. I'll think twice about using currys in future.

I had the most surreal shopping experience, in the Sevenoaks store. I went to buy a PC , they had very few in stock despite loads on display, another customer wanted the same one. We were told there were 4 in stock and the staff proceeded to try and sell ad ons , know how, insurance, all the staff seemed to be programmed not to listen to customers needs but to sell. They were clearly all stressed and unhappy and it showed in their attitude. despite me saying I didn't require any. The other customer asked for offers , the staff ignored us for 15 minutes whilst they discussed it and were not to pleased when we asked if we were going to be able to purchase the items. The answer was no, they didn't have them after all. We both walked out after well over an hour with no purchase. Currys lost two sales. Thankfully l eventually sourced the same pc online and will pick up from Argos tomorrow, £45 pound cheaper, click and Collect no hard sell. It is no wonder people don't shop in stores anymore, the other guy said as he was leaving , it was the most depressing incompetent shopping experience he has ever had, I agree. Absolutely awful.

I ordered a tv for my mum and paid £45 for installation. The Team knowhow delivery driver was unprofessional and lacked any customer service skills - he was unfriendly and my mum felt intimidated by him. The total opposite of what is promised on the Currys website!! I did complain and requested a refund of the £45 - Team Knowhow refused. I will NOT be buying anything from Curry's again. Looking at their reviews, it looks like other people are far from happy with the service provided.

They didn't make me happy. Waited around for ages to try to get an agent to help. Not enough staff.

Team Know How guaranteed delivery slot no show - not only did they not turn up, but I had to wait 45 mins on the phone to customer services to find out they were running another 45 mins late. Fine if you have all the time in the world to wait for a delivery, I don’t!

They should be called Don’t Know How. We ordered an American style fridge freezer that requires plumbing in. Paid extra for installation. The guys didn’t know how to plumb it & supposedly arranged for someone to come a few days later. No one turned up and when we called it hadn’t been booked in! Won’t be using Currys again unless they change their courier / installers it’s a joke.

I ordered a HP Desktop in store and was told I would have to wait at least 10 days as I had just missed the delivery slot for that week. One delivery a week sounds pretty abysmal to me. I was told I would be emailed when it arrived. 2 weeks later, still no email. I was passing the store one time and decided to call in to find it had eventually arrived. After asking when it had arrived I was told it was 5 days earlier. But no email, no text, no phone call. Pretty shoddy service considering the price of the product and the reputation of the store. Not impressed! Mr P. Gilbertson.

Online purchase was easy. Delivery slot between 1215 and 1615 was given. They arrived on time. However, the 2 delivery men were so rude. The one (who did almost all the work) couldn’t speak English so ignored any questions I asked him. Getting the plug out from the back of the kitchen cupboards seemed difficult, then he said he could get the new plug in. Just grunted and shrugged. The other guy was outside in the van. Sorry - but I do think that that is part of their job. The cord was the same length as the old one, so there is no reason it not to reach - with a bit of ingenuity and effort. Said the only way was with an extension lead. I did express my concern at using an extension lead with such a powerful appliance. English guy said it was fine. They just wanted to get out. Very short and abrupt with me and everything seemed problematic. Poor service not really worth an extra £45.

We had a new Samsung Smart TV delivered yesterday which had cost us £849 plus warranty costs and delivery at £1003. When we asked how to recoerd programes we were told we had to buy a "Dongle to go in the back to enable recording. We we not told this when we bought it. Customer services were not at all helpful we now have to pay someone to come and sort this out.Wish we had never purchased it.

In early December 2017 I purchased a YAMAHA 107 Soundbar from CURRYS Online. Believe me, after some of my family's experience with CURRYS going back to the 1950s, I didn't want to go back, but they were the only ones with this particular model. Apparently, they were still suffering from "Black Friday" - no Help online, no phones being answered [this went on for days]. Their webpage doesn't have the capability of reviewing one's basket before payment is accepted. Not my fault, but 2 of the Soundbars appeared, and payment had been taken. That's when all the phoning happened, with no result. So I turned back one item when delivery took place a couple of days later [still no phone capability]. I emailed them several times from the day of the cock-up until after delivery. Nothing except the automated response. So I got my credit card company onto it, and finally received an email acknowledging the Return-within-30-days and pledging a refund. furious, I wrote to their Head Office and eventually received a call from a manager who was apologetic and promised a £10 compensation for the Prime Time calls I had to make and the hassle I'd suffered. He blamed "Black Friday" and also said he'd look into the webpage problem. My credit card nor bank account still haven't been credited, and I've been onto the cc company yet again. It's the total lack of customer care that gets me worse than the webpage or repayment delay. Other times in the past I've come up against CURRYS Helpdesk ops who seemed like idiots; perhaps they're cheaper to employ than experts.

Tall fridge and freezer both delivered damaged. Refused to accept them, delivery guy said he would reorder them to be delivered on the following Sunday. We hadn't heard anything by Thursday so I phoned, after holding for almost 30 mins I finally go through to be told the order was cancelled but a new one hadn't been raised. I asked for a refund and was put through to another dept. to be on hold for over 40 mins, I then had to hang up because I was expecting visitors. I then had to go to the store to get my refund. So after 2 weeks I was still without my appliances. On a positive note I did get my money back without any hassle at the store. Oh and the phone call for 70 mins cost me £8.

I bought a pair of Bluetooth headphones as a gift for Christmas from a local Currys store, I wasn’t sure if the Bluetooth would connect to our tv but was told about the returns policy and to bring them back if the Bluetooth didn’t work or if I had any issues. I tried the headphones out properly when I got home and I had issues with the Bluetooth connecting as well as noticing the sound quality was just awful. I took them back to the store to get a refund to then be told that I couldn’t get a refund as I had opened up the box. I am so frustrated by the ridiculous excuse to not be a given a refund and now have a pair or expensive headphones I can’t even use. I really want to buy a new pair but I don’t think I could ever trust buying any products from Currys again. Definitely don’t recommend buying from Currys if you can’t even test out the product you have bought!

They were unable to fulfil my order but they didn't tell me. They cancelled my order an hour after I was told it would be fulfilled. I then had to go through an extremely long winded process to find out what had happened, was given incorrect information several times and finally was refunded and given a token gift voucher.

I've only gave them two stars as previously my orders have been ok. My partner came into your store to order and Xbox one X bundle. He was told he would have to order it online as in store they have the Xbox but not the games and they couldn't give him the Xbox without them. The guy and the email said to pick up the next day, well we went the next day to be told the Xbox was there but the games still wasn't! This new guy then allowed him to take the Xbox without the games which we couldn't do the day before!?!? They then said come back in a couple of days and to check our emails for when the order arrives. As soon as we got home We got an email to say it had arrived and then one after to say thanks for collecting your order!?!? we then went back the next day as we didn't understand the email to then be told to wait for another email as it still hadn't arrived!! we received no email so we went back again today to be told my games are lost and may not get them now until after Christmas?!?! The hole point of the Xbox was for Christmas which now this present is ruined!!! Curry's you have really let us down!
