We ordered an oven with Curry’s and were given a delivery date on the phone in 3 weeks time (10th Nov). We had heard nothing from them the morning we were expecting delivery and contacted them on web chat to be told that the delivery date was not today but a week later. The only reason we were given was that it may not have been in stock but we had picked this oven as we knew that there were plenty in stock. We still suspect that they just hadn’t booked our delivery on the system. We also had an online delivery that day arrive of lots of food we now couldn’t cook. This is when our terrible and farcical experience with Curry’s began. The man on web chat didn’t have the tools to help and he said that someone would phone us back in 24/48 hours. We also phoned Curry’s customer services. Again the lady did not have the tools to help and said that someone would phone us back in 24/48 hours. Nobody called us back. We raised a customer complaint number (CC000451359) on 21st Nov with the web chat and were again told that someone would phone us back, this time in 7 to 14 days. Nearly 2 months later we have heard nothing back from Curry’s. We are now more annoyed with the customer services just ignoring us than with the oven being late. We considered writing to them to tell them about our dreadful experience again but didn’t think Curry’s was even worth the cost of a second class stamp. I would never buy from Curry’s again and would recommend that anyone else avoids them. In future I shall buy from somewhere that values customers rather than just ignores them.

I initially paid £5 for next day delivery on the 20th Nov 2021 for a microwave that was delivered in a damaged state. I had it returned soon after due to this dissatisfaction and poor handling and asked for it to be replaced. I initially waited 2 weeks for a replacement and had to contact customer support many times to find out why my replacement was taking so long to be redelivered. They finally told me that there is a supply issue and I will not receive a replacement until another 2 more weeks or so. This was unacceptable so I requested a refund soon after on the 13th of December 2021. Considering it has been 4 weeks since I requested the refund I contacted customer service again today 6/Jan/2022 and they told me that for some damn reason the refund had not been authorised yet and I will have to wait another 3-5 days in order for the payment to be processed! So, not only did I waste £5 on a next day delivery for a damaged item which I abruptly returned I have been having to wait now for 4 weeks just to get a refund and only to find out that it still has not been authorised!! For such a large retailer this is incredibly slow processing time is unacceptable and I am reporting their handling of my issue to the Ombudsman and Trading Standards. I shouldn't have to wait this long to get a refund and I am also the one having to get in contact with their worthless customer support to let them tell me the same thing over and over again with no solution. Curry's has lost a customer for life and they deserve 0 stars and will not be recommended. Such a waste of my time and money and unneeded stress. Will never use their service again.

Wrong delivery date and wrong email given! First of all, we were given the wrong date for delivery so we waited in for nothing. Secondly when I rang up to complain, I was given an email to complain to. However I received a response saying that this email is obsolete!! So why the hell did they give this email when it is no longer in use for crying out loud! Want happy with the service and the lack of communication because of all this. Think next time round I'll go somewhere else for buying appliances.

Bought smart TV two months ago & it never worked properly but thought it was my internet. Upgraded my internet & ran an Ethernet cable from router to TV…and zero improvement. Smart apps unwatchable, and analogue channels now becoming unwatchable as so pixelated. Technician tried remote repair but no improvement. Then passed back & forth between 2 teams who refused to refund me because I’d bought the TV more than 30 days ago. They hung up on me when I pointed out that their refund policy is in breach of the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Long time customer of Currys but will never shop with them again.

Was lied to on multiple occasions today. I never recieved any delivery confirmation or tracking details. The first advisor told me yes it would be arriving and was out for delivery. The second said wait 48hrs then a few days. Which one is it?? After this, they told me it would be my job to go to the manufacturer for answers?? I'm sorry, but that is YOUR job. Not mine. Either way, we wasted bank holiday by staying in and have a very unhappy child who used his Xmas money to buy the monitor to play on today. Not mentioning our autistic child who was climbing the walls. I even paid for next day delivery and AFTER paying was not given this service. So, overall. I am absolutely fuming about the last wasted family day we could have had together. And utterly disappointed in all that has gone wrong and all the misguided information we have been given. I was even told I would have a manager call me and that never happened. (wasn't holding my breath) I have screen shots of key pieces of information told to me which wasn't delivered upon. Will we shop here again? Not a chance. Will I recommend to a friend or reletive? Not at all. I have spent hours sorting this out today with so much stress. Thanks for absolutely nothing.

Ordered a computer via their site video link. The woman miss-spelt my email address and I never received a receipt, which I needed for my company accounts. I call back on the Video Link, they could not change it. Rang customer service, couldn’t help, passed me through 4 different department all without success. back to customer Service.& hours without success. How hard is it to correct an email address. Asked to speak to a manager, their reply, will take 48 hours. My computer will arrive tomorrow, I will cancel. What good is having the computer with no receipt. If something was wrong,i would have problems getting help. The telephone message is saying 14 days to refund your money if you cancel. AMAZING I will never ever shop at Curry’s again. The are definitely the worst customer caring company to deal with.Cherie

Bought on Black Friday a pair of earbuds as present but found out one earbud doesn’t fit on Christmas. Curry won’t accept return on refund. Give me a number and ask the brand to repair it. They know it can not be repaired but couldn’t care less. Worst customer service and shortest return period I have ever known. Won’t buy from Curry again!

Think you need to look at the amount of complaints Curry's is having. My experience price match. Went on line to price match a sony 43x89j. Richer sounds doing the same tv £110 cheaper. Had a email back saying they couldn't price match it . Wait for it say they don't provide the same service Curry's do. Ha ha look at your reviews.

im absolutely appalled at the customer service given at keighley currys. I walked in looking for an ipad for a christmas present and was greeted by a lovely woman who was trying to help me and then a young man butted in, gave me the dirtiest look while looking me up and down. He then asked what i was looking for so i repeated what i said to the lovely woman for this young man to say to me there was only the £899 ipad available in all stores. He then proceeded to ask me “can you afford it” meaning the ipad. I could afford the ipad yes if i wanted to however the ipad was for my 6 year old son and its not exactly something that could be replaced easily when broken. i wont be returning.

Shocking customer service I paid £200 for a TV that arrived damaged. Currys couldn't exchange and it took me over 5 weeks to get my money back. I managed to get refunded through PayPal as Currys wouldn't refund me and online live chat told lies and fobbed me off. In the end I had to open a dispute with Paypal and spent many hours submitting evidence to win my case and get my money back. Unfortunately there are hundreds of victims with the same story who didn't get their money back yet. Not happy with Currys at all! If you had a similar experience then please report Currys to BBC watchdog.

Currys have a major problem, They can sell alright, the staff are excellent at selling up, adding extra warranties and sticking on excessive delivery/fitting /disposal charges. But that's where it stops. They can't deliver goods on time, its impossible to contact anyone and when you eventually manage to get through the options on the automated phone line aren't the ones you want.So you have to plump for the option that sounds nearest to the one you need, and of course it doesn't cover your problem. So you have to start again. Their heavy stuff is delivered by 'Know How' and things simply aren't joined up, there is very poor communication between Currys and Know How. What's more Ive found the majority of Currys staff to be exceptionally rude and up themselves, the general tenure is 'we've got your money, you aren't having it back and despite you paying over £100 we'll deliver as and when it suits us'. That said when you do get through to someone competent they are generally good at calming you down and problem solving. In my case it was a simple question that they forgot to ask, or should have asked earlier, and it would have saved hours of phone time, and a lot of frustration. Very nasty and dispiriting experience wouldn't recommend Currys to my worst enemy; actually I would, as long as they treat him like they treated me.....

Update: No response from Curry's emails request below. Parcel still hasn't been delivered and now the customer service is claiming internal issue for the delays (over 10 days now) as well as dismissing my right of cancellation and refund. (Consumer Rights act). I will put forward a complain with the Retail ADR as well as taking advice. I will revert here on the options you have as I can see other people in the same case.(failure from Curry's and customer agents lying on the delays and cause asking you to "trust" them as they cannot cancel your order...) BTW, Amazon delivered the same item next day... Don't think twice, make yourself a favour! Ordered a coffee machine for £500 and was sent a wrong item the next day. Called customer service who organised the collection the next day. HOWEVER they took another 8 days to deliver my item!!! They took 4 days to receive the item and check it before dispatching mine when it was their mistake! With other companies being more reliable I cannot recommend shopping with them. If you do not need customer service and the value of your item is irrelevant maybe but anything else search elsewhere!

Few months back! My credit score was in the low 495. i couldn’t get approved for a loan to buy a home or car. I reached out to a credit repair specialist that I got referred to by a friend, he removed all the negatives on my credit report and increased my score up to 842. All my inquiries, evictions, school loans etc were removed .if you also need your credit fixed, contact: C Y B E R D O N at T E C H I E dot C O M.

I needed to buy a home and a new car but I got denied when I tried getting a loan because I had a low credit score and some negative items. A colleague introduced me to a credit repair expert (C Y B E R D O N at T E C H I E dot C O M). I hired him for a credit repair process. He removed all negative items and raised my score from 587 to 779 in a couple of weeks. I got the house and the car in 3 weeks and all thanks to him. You can contact him with the above email address for a credit repair help.

In short as this went on for a month.... washer dryer under warranty stopped working pumping smoke into my house. Contacted Samsung as under warranty. They arranged for an engineer to check and confirmed it could not be fixed. Samsung provided an uplift number for currys to replace. This is where it starts to go wrong. I spent 9 phonecalls getting various stories that never matched, each with promises never kept, getting the phone cut off several times and managers not calling me back, losing my details, lies lies lies. I eventually gave up phoning Samsung back. They appologised at the way currys had treated me and arranged to replace the washer dryer themselves. They did this in less than a week in total. In short NEVER BUY FROM CURRYS AS IF ANYTHING GOES WRONG THEY WILL TREAT YOU LIKE AN IDIOT. I will never buy from then again.
