I ordered a Fridge / Freezer with Currys, this has been faulty so have had lots of problems. I found the staff inconsistent with their information from one department to the next on advise on how to exchange. The process is confusing and it feels like they are just taking you for a ride and rude. I won't be shopping here again.

TERRIBLE customer service when product faulty. Wrongfully blamed on my house electrical wiring. Tempted never to buy anything from them again. Batted back & forth between manufacturer & Currys. Deliberate strategy?

Unhappy click and collect service customer Website was down for hours, unable to pay. Customer service poor and disappointing, when you manage to speak with someone they keep transferring your call to different department until you give up. Click and collect system is rubbish. They are happy to take your money, but don’t let you to collect. Can’t even escalate the issue until 48 hours has gone? Will never buy from them again would prefer John Lewis who really care about they customers and company reputation. Would be happy to give 0 star

I ordered a TV for my elderly father who is shielding and lives on his own. As it was a priority and delivery wasn't available I had to opt for a TV costing £550 as the cheaper ones he wanted were not in store. I ordered it yesterday and was told to wait for a collection email. The following day I had a live chat with them and was told there had been a technical error or server glitch and I would have to cancel the order. No email explaining this telling me not to put anything off as I'm waiting for an email to collect the TV but they happily took my money. Terrible service and I will no longer be purchasing any of my tech from them again. Still waiting for customer services to contact me after I've explained the situation.

Currys review I am appalled at the service we have received from Currys. We bought an ex-display tv in August as we were told it was the last one from the brand in that size before the new models came out. We checked for scratches etc and paid for the care and repair plan as we were told this would cover any damage from transit to our house. I waited in 3 times all day for the telly to arrive as I was texted to say it would, each time it never came and only after the third time of me calling and speaking to someone did they say they need to deliver it to store because its too far for delivery. We collected in store, waited for ages and dealt with a very rude assistant who said ‘what do you want’ to which I replied ‘my tv!’ We moved into our new home on the 19th February and bought most of our large home appliances from Currys. We kept the tv in the packaging, never used it and paid for the care plan monthly until we moved in and only transported the tv carefully by car. When we came to plugging it into our new house the part which plugs into the antenna was missing. These are usually welded on and extremely difficult to break off. We phoned currys and they were happy to repair it. A few days later we got a text saying the tv was coming back to us unrepaired. My partner spent over an hour on the phone to an engineer that firstly said we didnt have the care plan, put us through to finance who said we did and we’d paid every month, put us back to another advisor who he had to explain the whole situation again to, said there was nothing they could do in terms of a repair or refund and that a manager would call the next day. 2 days go by, no call from the manager and then I have to answer the door at 7am to our unrepaired tv being returned. We called them again and said we were exp cting a callback from the manager 2 days ago can you transfer me please, got put on hold for half an hour and then we were told we have to go into store (which isn’t open) so they can confirm its ex display (we already have proof of this). We said we cant do that as we’re shielding, the store’s closed and we moved area: Meanwhile we’ve had other issues with our Currys fridge, washing machine and hoover. We have always been loyal customers to Currys and always found they have been rude and hugely unhelpful in store and over the phone. We have a £700 tv that we can’t use, a care plan that apparently isn’t valid and have wasted hours of our time for nothing. Unless you start actually helping your customers you’ve lost our business.

Disgusting service. Purchased a LG tv, which we took out warranty for. The screen started to go blue to the point it didn't work at all. They picked it up and 10 days later delivered it back saying they have 'fixed it' only to receive it back SMASHED!!! Rang them again to collect it, which they did. 5 days later received another email to say they were unable to fix it and they would send us an E-gift card for the amount paid for the original tv. Ordered a brand new JVC tele with a sound bar as a bundle. Not even 3 weeks after having this new tv, the problems rolled in. Glitching, crackling sounds, turns it's self off... frustrating right? Well listen to this! Yet again on the phone to them, they said take it back to your local store for a refund, fantastic! Thought we were getting somewhere. NOPE! We can't give refunds for products brought online, how bloody stupid! They have been closed for months during the covid pandemic... they can't give you a refund over the phone, nor in store! How do you get your money back i hear you ask? You can't!!!! They'll give you yet ANOTHER gift card to use online. We have proof of purchase, both online and bank statements yet unable to give a full refund to go else where! £359 out of pocket, disgusting service, terrible company and damn right rude over the phone. Almost forgot to mention team know-how's customer service is in South Africa and they apparently don't have any managers available to speak with. NEVER EVER SHOP WITH CURRYS!! They'll rob you

Do your best to avoid Currys at all cost just avoid I bought a washing machine, paid extra to be sent to me on a certain timeframe, recycle the old machine and install the new one. 1 - Delivery is bumpy by people around 60s. They needed my support to find the address. 2- No installation or recycling (although you pay extra for this) 3- have a washing machine with all the packages left on my corridor 4- I tried to contact the customer service online around 09:15, no one was available... 5- Webchat did not work for a while and when it worked, they told me to call a number. They asked me to take the survey, no survey shared. 5- I called customer service, they referred to 4 different departments. 6- In the end, they said the engineering service and customer service manager were going to call back, no one called back. 7- I have a big washing machine still in my corridor in the package, don't know what to do with it. It is extremely heavy for me and can't get the old one out as I live in an apartment.

I bough a tv from currys it went wrong curry without contacting me issued a voucher which I never discussed with them and is £200less then the original price specks are not there as they say no more 3d tv and no more curved tv so my question is why should currys get benefit of that. I when I bought this tv I paid extra for it being a curved set as for cosmetically it looked bett as per similar exact set with no curved screen also 3d tv cost more then the one with no 3d. So why I should loose out on that. As per the point they say as per similar speccifications but I checked all manufactures specs it says curved screen and 3d are detailed in specs so why is currys saying its not specs. I will be taki g this matter to court and also I ask all people not to buy any products fro currys yes go to see the products and then buy from other out let's most of the time you can pick same items with better service and warranties from others I work as technical adviser in Asian community and they always ask me when buying there home or electronics will put all of the aware not to buy any product from curry pc world. Already course 11 people not to buy fro cherry's got them to buy exact items from J . L if we all did this currys will soon get the massage. They were getting sales from my people for minimum 7000 a year not any more. I ask all people out there do not buy from currys if you do not belive me look on Internet for record how they take customers for rides also look at "which" repot on currys. .

Does not deserve even a one star rating. Have an under counter fridge insured for four years. Spoke eventually to an alex on the repair number. Am told I am not on the computer for cover. Then he puts the phone down on me. Had to quickly buy a new one. Todayou the 27th February received a letter from curry's. Would I like to renew my cover with them as it would run out on 24th April. That's a NO!!!

Having been a Customer for over 30 years I am finding dealing with Curry's and Team Know How increasingly frustrating, they have no flexibility or understanding of the real world where your paperwork may go to a different address to where the appliances are held e.g. families supporting people with family members with Alzheimer's, etc. so they are not Disability Aware or able to provide services that meet the Disabled people and their families :( It's like they've gone backwards in time :( and now when you ring to book a repair they can't even book it, you have to wait to be called back later to get a repair time, so you're stuffed if you are at work. And last year before Covi-19 their website wasn't working, the people working in their Customer services were unhelpful to say the least and it took them 4 months to repair a freezer and give out replacement vouchers and then claimed the fee hadn't been paid even though the item was still within the warranty period, causing a further month's delay & it took them 6 months to respond to a complaint, which was ineffective and a total waste of time

Diabolical customer service Bought a laptop for my son. When delivery didn't turn up I inquired what was the delay and was told I would have to wait six weeks minimum for delivery as out of stock or cancel the order and re-order a different one. Because I bought using their credit plan meant I had to wait 5 days before I could re-order. They were so unhelpful and I spent hours on the phone sorting out. Stay away. I lodge a complaint using there complaints procedure nearly two weeks ago and they have not even replied. STILL NO REPLY TO MY COMPLAINT. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON EXISTENT. THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THERE CUSTOMERS IN MY OPINION.

I ordered a pc and monitor. The pc arrived but no monitor, I waited to see if it would be delivered separately then called to discover that the monitor is out of stock. Curry’s took my money and failed to inform me it was out of stock, if I hadn’t called I wouldn’t have known. Atrocious customer service. Decided to return the pc and so now have to wait a further 2 weeks for a refund. Funny how you can speak to an agent immediately when they want to sell you something but when they’ve made an error, there are long wait times and they then shrug their shoulders. I won’t be shopping at curry’s again.

Very poor service. Avoid at all cost. Also whatever you do don't order anything online from these Jokers just shop anywhere else. They literally couldn't have done more wrong. Took almost a year for ME to sort it out and what did I get for all the hours and hours and hours of MY time ? £10. That's it £10. At one point I was suicidal because of there actions and they give me £10.

Bought a Dell laptop and a Microsoft 365 in boundle on 14 January. Received the laptop on 15th, it was working fine, but the software was not activated by the seller. Called them, they arranged the pick up, and sent me a new Microsoft 365. It has arrived today 27 January, and its not working again. I called them, they offered me a 3rd one, but I dont trust them anymore, and I dont want to wait another 5 days to get it (3 business days+weekend). I asked for a refund, which will take another 7-10 business days, after they received it at the warehouse (another 3-5 days) So DPD picked collected it on the 28th January. Called them on 8th February, the lady I talked to said, that I should receive an email, when it is being scanned at the warehouse, so just keep waiting. I called them again on the 17th, the Tia on the online help team said, that she thinks its in the warehouse, but was not scanned for some reason, so she wrote an email for the Accounts, or I don't know what department, asking for a manual refund. She said to give them 3 days for the refund, and if I don't receive the money, give them a call. So guess what! I have not received the money. So I called them on the 22nd February, obviously quite angry, got to talk to someone again, and she said, she is waiting for a feedback from the Accounts, or whoever approves refunds, which can take up to 10-14 days. So Here I am after a month, still waiting for that £29.90, from Currys. So to be clear they have my money for almost 6 weeks (!!!!!) , without providing the product I paid for. The service is horrendous. I had to call them at least 10 times, waiting for hours total to actually get to talk someone, count my frustration and I still haven't got my money back.

Bought a TV online and collected from the store, less then a month there was an issue with the TV and it wouldn't respond to the remote. Took me over an hour on the phone to customer services, they said they were going to send a new remote, but never happened. Made 5/6 on line enquiries through their website, no response. Their Webchat on their website doesn't work. They have no email address to contact them and they don't send you any acknowledgement emails so you don't actually know if your complaints have been logged.
