Collected my goods from Weymouth store, and have to say how brilliant their Covid safety measures were. The system worked effectively, there was no delay, and our goods were brought out to our car and loaded for us. Thanks!

Never shop at Currys. I bought a monitor from them at the end of November 20. It was great, an LG 27 Ultragear 950B. It looked amazing, seriously the best monitor I have ever seen and was seriously eroding my love of Samsung. Then in February it got a fault. It was flickering, really noticeable if the image was bright. So I contact Currys, they palm me off to LG, who to be fair were really on the ball. However, the current state of the world means that they cannot get the parts to repair it. Which is not hard to believe as they can't get the parts to make new ones either, you cannot buy this monitor new right now. They send me a letter confirming this and the monitor back and tell me to go back to Currys. I go back to the Knowhow Team at Currys through the webchat and on the phone. Currys don't want to know, Currys tell me that as it is outside of 30 days I can't get my money back and I need to go back to LG. Side note, Consumer Rights Act of 2015 does indeed enshrine this 30 day money back guarantee, but also states that if a fault occurs within 6 months and cannot be repaired or the item replaced, the point of sale must issue a refund. I told them this and they outright lied to my face that they cannot take it back and even said that their systems cannot even issue a refund at this point. I go onto Twitter and threaten Currys with legal action, twice. This gets a response from the Knowhow Team on Twitter, who after a bit of cajoling and quoting of the CRA 2015 organise a pick up of the monitor and a refund to me. I stay in all day waiting for DPD, even chasing Team Knowhow on Twitter for a DPD ref, which they give me. I call DPD, the ref does not match anything in their records. I call Currys on Sunday and they admit that DPD were never sent. Team Knowhow gave me a fake DPD reference number. They get DPD to pick up the monitor the day after. Doesn't really end there. In the middle of this I bought the Sony Pulse 3D headset from Currys, as they had stock and at this point monitor is working fine and I am happy. I notice the order is not in my order history so contact Team Knowhow on webchat the next day, who confirm there was a glitch and my order was cancelled and refunded. I get an email confirming this so naturally, I reorder the item. Day later two turn up. I contact Team Know how on web chat and on the phone to get the extra returned and refunded, they bounce me around, leave me on hold for 30 minutes then hang up, refuse to put me through to a manager and finally tell me a manager will call me back, but no call ever comes. I go onto Twitter (chronologically this is the first time) to complain publicly at Currys and Team Know how get on it and organise the return and refund. But this is only after I literally call out their terrible customer service on a public platform. I still have a complaint logged with them, but not heard anything back and I asked to complain again and no one has contacted me to take my complaint. I have asked for two manager call backs, neither happened. The service from Currys has been so terrible and I think it is by design, they really REALLY did not want me to exercise my right to return a faulty product. I truly believe that the returns process is so frustratingly difficult in the hopes that you will give up. Currys will lie to you about your rights and about the actions they are taking to remedy an issue. Currys will do their utmost to screw you over. In all honesty, I haven't really chronicled here how many times I chased Currys to get this resolved, no one would read it. DO NOT SHOP WITH CURRYS.

Purchased Hoover DynamicNext dryer. Setting very difficult to understand, plus the drying is stripping all my towels. Never had this before with a drying. Engineer did come out, changed thermostat. Still destroying towels!

Im surprised given all the bad reviews here this company hasn’t yet been reported to trading standards yet. Had an awful experience today paid for a Gaming monitor last Friday waited till Monday as email said to collect. Proceeded to curry pc world in Gateshead only to be told no item for me to collect. Said item still in transit doesn’t know when it will arrive no timetable. I said ok I’ll take similar item and willing to pay extra just to get a PC monitor was told doesn’t work that way. Only recourse is sit out and wait till when Who knows it will arrive or get a refund that will take several days to happen. Fraudulent way of doing business why say the item is available take your money and emails you it’s ready to collect on this day when it’s not? Rubbish!

Appalling customer service, they cancelled my delivery, I had to ring customer services 4 times to try and reschedule but in the end gave up and asked for a refund which they lied about sending! I have lodged a complaint with PayPal to try and get my money back! They are incompetent and dishonest, buy your good anywhere else than this bunch of buffoons!

Bought a faulty printer from curry’s tried to return well within the 30 days. Once they finally responding to the return request (diabolical system in itself!) they seem to think they are not responsible and that it’s the manufacturer! WRONG!! Consumer act 2015 states the RETAILER IS RESPONSIBLE! You would think a company of this size would have better customer service and try not to rip off their customers! Will never be using again and the sooner the better the company goes under! STEER WELL CLEAR!!!!!

Bought washing machine March 2020, after 3 engineer visits it was deemed unfixable, same model was unavailable so after they failed to deliver replacement in October 2020 I was refunded £20 as had paid express delivery, however I still have not received the refund for the smaller model I have contacted customer services several times I have now given up as no one it seems can process this refund... Curry's customer services called me today to check everything OK when I explained situation I was told they couldn't help I would have to waste more time contacting a different number... After wasting so much of my time I really have given up curry's have STOLEN my money I'm just never going to use them again!!!!

Warning! This Company has taken money for a cooker and extra to be delivered yesterday, after three phone calls second one hung up they dropped the line I was eventually told the product won’t come in for another ten days and will be later as it needs checking first, refund time is 3-5 days so now have no cooker, money tied up and I guess if I’m lucky I won’t have a cooker for another week now, customer service can’t even part with an alternative model to resolve this even after I’ve offered to pay extra for an alternative that’s in stock, will now lose wages for whichever days I wait in and they’ll probably decide not to show up again with no warning judging from past experience, avoid this company I wish I had now, this seems common practice for them, if I could give zero I certainly would

I ordered a Fridge / Freezer with Currys, this has been faulty so have had lots of problems. I found the staff inconsistent with their information from one department to the next on advise on how to exchange. The process is confusing and it feels like they are just taking you for a ride and rude. I won't be shopping here again.

TERRIBLE customer service when product faulty. Wrongfully blamed on my house electrical wiring. Tempted never to buy anything from them again. Batted back & forth between manufacturer & Currys. Deliberate strategy?

Unhappy click and collect service customer Website was down for hours, unable to pay. Customer service poor and disappointing, when you manage to speak with someone they keep transferring your call to different department until you give up. Click and collect system is rubbish. They are happy to take your money, but don’t let you to collect. Can’t even escalate the issue until 48 hours has gone? Will never buy from them again would prefer John Lewis who really care about they customers and company reputation. Would be happy to give 0 star

I ordered a TV for my elderly father who is shielding and lives on his own. As it was a priority and delivery wasn't available I had to opt for a TV costing £550 as the cheaper ones he wanted were not in store. I ordered it yesterday and was told to wait for a collection email. The following day I had a live chat with them and was told there had been a technical error or server glitch and I would have to cancel the order. No email explaining this telling me not to put anything off as I'm waiting for an email to collect the TV but they happily took my money. Terrible service and I will no longer be purchasing any of my tech from them again. Still waiting for customer services to contact me after I've explained the situation.

Currys review I am appalled at the service we have received from Currys. We bought an ex-display tv in August as we were told it was the last one from the brand in that size before the new models came out. We checked for scratches etc and paid for the care and repair plan as we were told this would cover any damage from transit to our house. I waited in 3 times all day for the telly to arrive as I was texted to say it would, each time it never came and only after the third time of me calling and speaking to someone did they say they need to deliver it to store because its too far for delivery. We collected in store, waited for ages and dealt with a very rude assistant who said ‘what do you want’ to which I replied ‘my tv!’ We moved into our new home on the 19th February and bought most of our large home appliances from Currys. We kept the tv in the packaging, never used it and paid for the care plan monthly until we moved in and only transported the tv carefully by car. When we came to plugging it into our new house the part which plugs into the antenna was missing. These are usually welded on and extremely difficult to break off. We phoned currys and they were happy to repair it. A few days later we got a text saying the tv was coming back to us unrepaired. My partner spent over an hour on the phone to an engineer that firstly said we didnt have the care plan, put us through to finance who said we did and we’d paid every month, put us back to another advisor who he had to explain the whole situation again to, said there was nothing they could do in terms of a repair or refund and that a manager would call the next day. 2 days go by, no call from the manager and then I have to answer the door at 7am to our unrepaired tv being returned. We called them again and said we were exp cting a callback from the manager 2 days ago can you transfer me please, got put on hold for half an hour and then we were told we have to go into store (which isn’t open) so they can confirm its ex display (we already have proof of this). We said we cant do that as we’re shielding, the store’s closed and we moved area: Meanwhile we’ve had other issues with our Currys fridge, washing machine and hoover. We have always been loyal customers to Currys and always found they have been rude and hugely unhelpful in store and over the phone. We have a £700 tv that we can’t use, a care plan that apparently isn’t valid and have wasted hours of our time for nothing. Unless you start actually helping your customers you’ve lost our business.

Disgusting service. Purchased a LG tv, which we took out warranty for. The screen started to go blue to the point it didn't work at all. They picked it up and 10 days later delivered it back saying they have 'fixed it' only to receive it back SMASHED!!! Rang them again to collect it, which they did. 5 days later received another email to say they were unable to fix it and they would send us an E-gift card for the amount paid for the original tv. Ordered a brand new JVC tele with a sound bar as a bundle. Not even 3 weeks after having this new tv, the problems rolled in. Glitching, crackling sounds, turns it's self off... frustrating right? Well listen to this! Yet again on the phone to them, they said take it back to your local store for a refund, fantastic! Thought we were getting somewhere. NOPE! We can't give refunds for products brought online, how bloody stupid! They have been closed for months during the covid pandemic... they can't give you a refund over the phone, nor in store! How do you get your money back i hear you ask? You can't!!!! They'll give you yet ANOTHER gift card to use online. We have proof of purchase, both online and bank statements yet unable to give a full refund to go else where! £359 out of pocket, disgusting service, terrible company and damn right rude over the phone. Almost forgot to mention team know-how's customer service is in South Africa and they apparently don't have any managers available to speak with. NEVER EVER SHOP WITH CURRYS!! They'll rob you
