Don't use they employ people that don't understand English and can't read post codes, They are worse than the post office scandals & should be held accountable for undelivered parcels.

Driver has been many times before but today cannot find my address? I stayed in all day waiting for the delivery to no avail. This company are hopeless I won't use some retailers now because they deliver by dpd. I cringe when I see they are the courier. Stopped using a food delivery company because dpd kept leaving my food outside on the driveway, not even bothering to ring the doorbell. Avoid them at all costs they are truly dreadful.

I bought a vacuum cleaner from Curry’s last Monday and was advised the delivery would be Tuesday so soon all good I then answered the DPD message to say I would not be in and told exactly where to leave it even got given a verification number to prove I was me followed all the correct channels. It arrived at the time given as I saw it on my cctv, however it was taken to the drop off point which was the same distance as my local Curry’s store and the reason I ordered it online was for the delivery. I then phone DPD and was told that the only way I could get it was to collect it so as I do not have a car this was out of the question so she said it was my only option then I asked to speak to a manager she said one would phone me within two hours which didn’t happen. After two hours I phoned Curry’s and asked them if they denied it being left unattended because on the form it said the only way they would not deliver was if Curry’s refused and that it was at my own risk which I agreed to. So now it has gone back to Curry’s to then be collected and delivered again over a week later!

Seems that DPD customer service and drivers are following some type of protocol on how to give the worst service. Some of the other reviews are saying the exact same thing happened. 10th order via DPD ‘sorry, no one was in’ when there was no knock on the door or ringing on the intercom as we were sat at home. Then calling DPD customer service met with argumentative agent who insisted the driver was at the front of the building but couldn’t show me any picture to prove it. I kept asking them to show me a picture but kept telling me to check the app which I was on and there was no picture uploaded. Drivers and customer service are liars. Drivers name was Mohammed in East London area. I wish I could say avoid at all costs however companies still seem to use this incompetent courier without allowing the customer to choose.

Rang doorbell before I could get to the door, 30 seconds and I am a pensioner dumped it by the front door in full view and drove off. Had no idea if anyone was in. Had to struggle to get it into my Hall.

Would give it zero points if possible 3 failed deliveries ,diabolical service. Parcel received by DPD 11th Jan. 1st failed delivery 12th January, 2nd failed delivery 15th January 3rd failed delivery 17th January. Excuses are I wasn't in .that's right delivery is to a shop in centre of the town . If that shop is closed delivery to a shop that is open till 10pm. Absolutely diabolical no other words

DPD promised delivery 16/ 1 / 24 then changed the time twice, then cancelled. The next day they apparently delivered it to a collection point 30 miles away after delivering me a card at my home address. When I phoned DPD they put me on hold then hung up on me. The next official I spoke to tried to fob me off then laughed at me. I phoned the place that DPD said they had been dropped off at and there is no record of it showing on their system, despite DPD tracking stating it was delivered there. I suspect it has gone for a walk, and I suspect someone knows fine well where my parcel is... Thanks DPD and I will avoid this organisation like the plague.

DPD were supposed to delivery my parcel on the 8th Jan, its now the 17th and I've still not received it, no way to contact them via the chat and when I ring get an automated message saying my parcels delayed due to a problem of delivery in my area. another words they have either lost my parcel and don't even have the decency to let me know, or one of the drivers has stolen it which seem to be a recurring thing with them(lots of people have had there parcels opened goods taken out then taped back up) absolutely vile thieving cowboy of a delivery firm.

I have been waiting for my parcel at home saying on the app for the driver to call me just to show how important was my parcel. The driver did call me but he didn't spoke and he close the fone ,the thing is that he didn't try to call the second time and he didn't even know at the door because I was at home waiting so bad for my parcel and he didn't knock or ring the bell,he just took a picture and left. I tried to contact DPD to redeliver the parcel and they said they can do nothing today just to wait for my parcel to be delivered tomorrow, if the driver said he was at the door and he put the picture that means the driver is right I didn't answer. I was at home and if someone knocks at my door I can hear, plus I was really expected the parcel. So I was very careful if someone is knocking. All adder companies like Amazon, Royal mail, every they give you a option to have the parcel in the day you expected or at least if you say you were at home they will fix the problem. It's not the first time DPD is doing this to my deliveries but this time it was a very important parcel.

2 deliveries. First to Post office 3 miles away in spite of me filling in complete details and instructions on line in response to DPD message saying they failed to deliver when promised. Two journeys to collect as discovered PO shut all weekend (12 miles). Second (labelled as plants) dumped in open countryside in sub-zero temp. at side of remote road - not at the property they stated and not with a person. Fortunately spotted by farmer neighbour - "everyone needs good neighbours" DPD says and this is certainly true if you are ever to locate your parcel. The advertised telephone number 0121 275 0500 did not function at all and alternative telephone number I found cut out every time at end of automated voice and beginning of wait-period to speak to a person. Hopeless! Emailed the CEO and got immediate concerned response call from "Escalations Team Manager" but, so far, explanations inadequate. No idea how their address-finding system works or is it just some drivers can't be bothered? Never had these problems before.

Absolutely disgusting customer service. I received a text to say they would be back Monday with my parcel as I was out. Did not return Monday and after enquiring discovered they had left it at the post office. When I rang customer service the woman was extremely rude and unhelpful. Clearly could not be bothered.Ordered from Amazon. Maybe they need to use a different courier company.

This company used to be good and don’t understand what is going on now? I was expecting a delivery today that is actually a birthday present, I reached London 5am this morning and I went to sleep in a sofa next to the door to make sure I wouldn’t missed my parcel I also put an alarm for 12pm as my delivery time window was 12:20pm to 13:20pm but for my surprise 12:37pm I got a text saying “ sorry we missed you and your driver won’t be back today “ I have a camara outside my house and the driver never showed up, also no picture of my front door on the website neither a we missed you card. I called customer services right away only to be told that she was trying to get in touch with the driver but the driver who was assigned to my order but longer working for DPD meaning they didn’t know who was the driver who has my parcel because the one who was showing in the system was not longer working for them. Completely Unacceptable, out of word to describe how bad this company has become.

Avoid at all costs. Everything that is bad about any company is found in this one company. Rude, arrogant, incompetent, mendacious, argumentative. They should be avoided at all costs

They opened my packaging and stole items worth £500. Retaped the package and left it at the building door without getting in contact with me.

DPD lost/stole a mobile phone due to be delivered to me. This is forgivable, especially around Christmas when they're likely to have hired lots of temporary staff. What's unforgivable, is refusing to raise an investigation, despite confirming that a parcel is 'missing' if it doesn't get scanned in every 24hrs. Instead, both the tracking status on their website and app simply suggested "Your parcel has been delayed due to an unexpected issue in your area". There was no way to contact DPD via the website and their telephone line (when I eventually found the number), went direct to state exactly the same robotic response - no way to speak to an advisor. The online bot was the worst I've ever encountered. Truly dreadful. The only way to contact a human was to download their app. Disgrace to force customers to do this. When I eventually got through to an advisor, I was told told to raise the case with the sender. Whereas this is the correct process, they absolutely refused to even start the investigation without the seller raising the issue with them. Whoa! You've just admitted its lost! Surely it's also in your interests to trace a £1200 package, likely stolen by your own staff?! When I asked to complain, they refused to provide their complaints procedure or details about their regulator. Even when the complaint was picked up by their complaints team, both these requests have still gone unanswered and ignored. I'll be sure to do everything I can to avoid this shambles of a company in future. Shame on you DPD
