“Shocking after care service.
Having ordered and collected bath through an Easy Bathrooms showroom I discovered on unpacking bath at home that it had an area of significant damage which was beneath protective film packaging that covers the entire bath.
On returning to the store to explain the issue the staff seemed disinterested and informed that I would have to email photos to them which they would then forward to their head office. They also informed that they had no ability to speak to head office to escalate situation.
I’ve now been informed by their technical department that it’s an “impact damage” and will not replace bath.
Probably the worse customer and retail service I’ve had the misfortune to experience .
Im now taking Easy Bathrooms to the small claims court and would advice all consumers to steer clear of a firm which puts its customers last.
I also intend to bring the bath tub back to the store at weekends to share my Easy Bathrooms experience with all potential customers .”
“I went in the Chippenham store for a look for a sink units and even though I was the only person in the store I was categorically ignored! No hello, no enquiry about what I might want to see - they continued chatting about how ineffectual someone was in I.t and then both sat at their desks and didn’t give me eye contact. I literally walked out of the shop a gasp! It was a Friday afternoon I obviously want just time wasting and I was taking photos and browsed all the displays for over 10 minutes. I left this review in the vain hope that the persons working at the Chippenham store are given some proper training as I can’t see that store lasting long with those two!”
“Horrible company and terrible quality of their products. Please be aware that they are deleting bad reviews from Google and Trustpilot.
We have purchased all products in April 2020 and after only two years we have noticed that black colour began to peel off from tap, shower screen (other side of the screen which does not have any contact with water) and basin waste. Only after 6 months of using, soft close toilet seat stopped working and a piece that holds shower handset no longer works properly so it takes ages to get it in the right position as otherwise handset just drops down.
Their 25 year quality guarantee is a joke.
Please choose another company and save your money.”
“Easy Bathrooms are far from easy to do business with. I have fitted many Of their bathrooms. Their big issue is after sales! Every time there is an issue you have a fight on your hands to get anything replaced or resolved. Local branch staff generally try hard but the head office customer services seem to have no concept of urgency and will do anything to delay or ignore resolutions. They waste so much customer time and my time and don’t want to pay for it. Customer experience is paramount but Easy Bathrooms continue to show a total disregard to it. Enough is enough!”
“In a country where good customer service is practically non existent it was a pleasant surprise to receive such excellent support from the representatives at your Havant branch. Jess and Ian were well versed in the Easy Bathroom product and were really helpful when issues arose. In fact on occasion I felt sorry for them as the various suppliers that Easy Bathrooms use let them down badly with no regard to the customer. Ian and Jess then had to apologise for the dismal customer service of the suppliers and address the issues accordingly.
However despite poor supply support my bathroom components were all delivered eventually with the Havant teams support, and has been successfully installed. I would recommend Easy Bathrooms to others, but recommend that they look at there supply chain to maintain a good service.”
“Probably the worst customer service ive experienced.
When we received our order from easy bathrooms, we checjed every item as instructed. It was then noticed when the bath tub was installrd that there was a small hairline crack in the tub. We had not notcied this as a protective layer of plastic on the tub covered the crack. We spoke to Easy Bathrooms customer services who stated that as the tub had been installed we would need to pay for a new one (as we could have cracked the bath tub), which we did. At this point I questioned what was included in the 25 year quality guarantee, nd whether we would have to pay for anything else that was damaged, as there would be no point having a guarantee if that was the case - I received no response from customer services. When the second bath tub arrived, it was also cracked. We had to wait 2 weeks to get a new tub. I asked if we could get a refund, and customer services stated that they would 'need to inspect the tub', despite the fact that we hadnt even installed this tub. We then had to wait almost a month as Easy Bathrooms customer services dont work over Christmas. We finally received the third tub which I asked the delivery person to check with me. Unsurprisingly, also cracked. Easy Bathrooms then refunded the tubs and we ended up going somewhere else and finding a cheaper, better quality bath tub. Due to all of these issues, and the poor customer service received from Easy Bathrooms, it took 3 months to get our bathroom installed. We had approximately £150 worth of tiles that we were told we could return when we placed the order. After the huge ordeal of having the bathroom installed we asked if we could return the extra tiles. Customer serviced replied stating that they would need to 'check what inventory they had in stock in their warehouse', im not sure why that would matter. They then replied stating that because its been so long after we placed the order they cant accept any of the tiles - despite the length of installation being caused by them providing bath tubs that were cracked!
Awful customer service. Would not reccomend.”
“We were initially very impressed by the sales team in the Bracknell branch who have been very helpful and professional both times we have been in store. After a couple of visits we purchased tiles online for a family bathroom that was being redesigned for us. We had been let down by a previous company but felt confident that we wouldn’t receive the same disappointment with Easy Bathrooms based on your sales staff as previously mentioned
We had a tight timescale so when we were informed that the tiles we wanted were in stock both by the Bracknell branch and by the online website we ordered them straight away and told our builders that the tiles would be there by the time they needed them to tile the bathroom
On the day before delivery I received an email, not a phone call, just an email saying that there was actually an error and the tiles we wanted weren’t actually in stock and there was a substantial delay in them being back in stock. I hardly ever check my email so it was just by luck that I checked as I would be none the wiser otherwise as no one had bothered to even call me to inform me of this pretty large issue
A lady called Lorraine from the Leeds branch had sent the email and when I called the number on the bottom of the email they were unable to assist me as it was the incorrect department and were unable to transfer me, they just told me to take down another number and call it. Not exactly helping the customer out, when I mentioned that I had no means to take the number down they just told me to look online and get the number from there, all very unhelpful
When I managed to get the number and call customer service, I asked for Lorraine and was told she wasn’t in the office that day but when they asked what it was regarding they managed to transfer me to Lorraine, funny that seeing as she wasn’t in the office…?!
Lorraine was very helpful and helped me chose an alternative tile as waiting for the original tile wasn’t an option due to the fact that my builders weren’t available for another 6 months and I need a bathroom for my family to wash in - a basic amenity I believe!
When the tiles did arrive we had a whole box broken. I spoke to Martin who works with Lorraine and he explained that he couldn’t help and said that he would contact customer services. Jamie from customer services emailed (again no call) to say that the tiles could be resent but they were no longer in stock and we would have to wait a number of weeks to get them, and even then they would be a different batch number, again not very helpful!
We were so frustrated that we called the Bracknell branch and spoke to the salesman who had helped us originally, he said to leave it with him and he would see if he could source us a box from somewhere. Not long after we received another email from Jamie saying that there was a mistake made and that there was some stock of the tiles we needed - very strange when only a couple of hours earlier there was none left in stock?!
The whole experience from ordering has been shambolic and unpleasant, not to mention stressful and frustrating
I have complained in writing but have received no response
Also as the second tiles that we ordered were smaller we were promised a refund for the difference, I am still waiting for this to be paid also”
“Bought bathroom furniture, vanity unit, toilet etc from Easy Bathrooms Staples Corner. I was assissted by Matthew who was very helpful and courteous. Unfortunately 2 items the cistern and wc box did not fit. The next day I returned these 2 items to the shop. I dealt with Ali and his colleague who wanted to charge me £60 for returning the items (the boxes were unopened). I challenged this and after an argument they reduced it to £20. I feel that this is unfair and it should not be included in their terms and conditions. The customer service was awful and both men were uncouth.”
“Went to buy radiators and sink units, from the Staples corner branch, and was met by Ali Ahmed, who was quite rude from the off, as we were asking a few questions. Ali wanted us to buy quickly, and several times said "Haven't you decided yet ?"
We went home and decided to buy 2 radiators from their web site, and called to find availability, and unfortunately,Ali answered the phone.
He said we can come to the showroom, and pay by credit card, and said we can pick up from the showroom, to avoid delivery charges.
When we came to the showroom, he said delivery only at 50.00 pounds, and no pick up allowed.
and any returns was a charge of 60.00 pounds.
He was very abrupt, and rude with it.
I hope other branches have better customer service, but Ali Ahmed, certainly need to treat customers better
Regards,
A very dissatisfied customer,
Chris De Silva”
“My husband and I are appalled at the bad service we have received from Easy Bathrooms, and it is ongoing. We have had to wait ages for items damaged in transit to be replaced, and have now waited two weeks to exchange wall panels wrongly ordered by Easy Bathrooms in Cambridge. If you don't open all your delivered items within two days, which is hardly practical, you are expected not to get a refund for anything that is incorrect. We have had awful problems contacting the designer, who never rings back when he should, we always have to contact him, and he is hardly ever available. Our experience with Easy Bathrooms has turned into a nightmare, and I would strongly advise anyone never to go near them for a new bathroom.”
“I am in the middle of a nightmare. Nobody cares. I've bought two bathrooms from them and the items are allowed to be smashed and destroyed by subcontractors delivering the merchandise on overloaded pallets. So we have lost a week waiting for replacements, only to have the replacements damaged and another week or so wasted. I feel sorry for my installer its a nightmare for him too What a waste of time and a loss of money Get your act together Easy Bathrooms or you will be out of business sooner than you think.”
“I just had a walk in shower installed by Easy Bath and I was pretty happy with everything. However, my my contact was Mike and he never called me back when he daid he would, except once. The last time we talked, he said he would call me back the next day because I wasn't happy with the seat that was installed. That was over a week ago and I haven't heard another word from him. Of course he has my $6750 so I guess he feels like he doesn't need to call me back. I was definitely in a hurry to get my new shower because it was getting harder for me to step over the jacuzzi tub. I think anyone who is going to do this should get at least 3 estimates before you decide on who does it. I liked and enjoyed the guys who installed my shower, but tell me you are going to call me back the next day if you aren't going to.”
“Delivery driver dropped shower doors and damaged threshold of my back door. Plumber was doing last fix, but found shower door damaged. I contacted easy bathrooms. They had to contact head office. I waited and waited. I have phoned today, only to be told head office are closed for weekend and nothing can be done till Monday. I have a disabled husband, a plumber who can't come back and a complaint at head office that is closed for the weekend. I'm so upset!!!”
“Terrible customer service and over priced. Still waiting on £100 refund after they missed the item off my delivery which they charged £50 for. If you are at fault you should bend over backwards to rectify your mistake not take days talking to courier companies while our project was being held up.”
“My experience of Easy Bathrooms has been a negative one. It has been anything but easy. I understand that customer service can be branch specific, and I was unlucky to select a branch where customer service was poor - to be charitable. Customer service at head office was a bit better, to be fair. But they do not like to admit anything could be wrong with their products. They are also very quick to charge a restocking fee for returned goods. They are not, however, as quick to refund you when your account it's in credit, I found. I did get the refund. It took some time, though.
Regarding the products. They're ok, in the main, but not great. There is nothing that I bought, including bath, showers, toilets, taps etc. that I would buy again. In hindsight, I wish I had sourced the items from known and respected manufacturers. I would have a better en-suite and bathroom if I had. I did discard one of the items, that Easy Bathrooms would not acknowledge had a fault, and bought a replacement from a known manufacturer. It was worth taking the £220 hit for peace of mind and a much better product. In summary, I will not buy anything from Easy Bathrooms again.”
“I had similar experience as others these are good as long as everything is ok. If you have missing parts of your order or issue with parts that have been incorrectly delivered they are terrible. I had a shower with parts missing and incorrect parts. I had to write formally setting myself ready for a section 75 claim against my credit card. After some 30 emails I have mostly everything . They still refuse to resolve the issue with one part of our order which I have referred to my credit card.”
“It was a very strange experience at Easy Bathrooms. We had a look around and the bathroom suites looked really nice and saw a suite that looked ideal. Went to get a quote with the advisor at the till and gave us a price which we would think about and contact them if we wanted to go ahead. Bizarrely the advisor said the printer wasn’t working and he works email us a copy of the quote. The quote never arrived and after chasing numerous other stores as the store I went to didn’t have a landline? I still didn’t get a quote. It’s very worrying if a quote can’t be sent to you, then how are you going to have faith with the rest of the service. In the end we went with a well known company who advertise on tv and regulate all their tradesmen. We love our new bathroom!”
