“Yes I've been dealing with enterprise since 2003 never had 1 single problem until 2024. Had reservations on Westheimer Rd. through insurance claim in which they confirmed by calling me. Once I got there after walking n Houston heat I was then told I would have to pay out of pocket even with my insurance reservation #. As I'm outside trying to get things situated with my insurance company another employee comes out side to chest tie me as if I were her child and soon as I jump defensive and tell her look I can go to another enterprise. I guess she call main office 2 have me put on do not rent list. No one ever called me to ask my side after being a loyalty member for 20 plus years. This says a lot about enterprise and how they treat there customers. What ever happened to pleasing the customer. Not saying that a person has a right to be rude but when you call someone to confirm with them stating 1 thing and get there to something totally different could cause a lil more understanding on Enterprise Employees. But I should have known she would do something like this being the drama queen she was being. Just be careful where u spend your money. Have a membership with Hertz now so who loosing out. Enterprise thats who... If y'all treat loyalty members this way then maybe I was loyal to the wrong company.. Thanks life goes.”
“Rented a 15 passenger wagon Dow a family trip . 6 hours on the road I noticed the air conditioner and call road side service , called rental office , to replace the car called every one for service and no one was able to help .for seven days traveled with no AC , windows open and bugs inside the car .upon my return enterprise offered full rental refund. But it’s been 6 weeks and nothing. I call for updates every week and same answer HQ working on it .terrible.terrible service .avoid enterprise.”

“When reserving my vehicle, I stated I was handicapped and needed an suv. They said no prob, they had one and close in 1 hr. I got there in 15 min and they didn't have one. They said they'd contact me to exchange for one. Now it's 5 days later no call.”
“I have rented vehicles from Enterprise countless times, since my days after college (2007) and suddenly have problems with reservations beach my drivers license is from a different state, but all other forms of documentation (paystub, lease agreement, utilities) indicates my location.”
“I had a rental car scheduled for 12/3. I got to the rental car and they told me I had a 9am appt and it was 1pm at the time and they gave my car away. This was a rental due to a car repair through my insurance. At the time I secured my reservation there was no time stamp. The location was 2016 W Stassney Ln Austin Tx. The guy at the counter was very surely, had an attitude and didn't help at all knowing that I was without a car. He could of called one of the many locations in town and just said best he could do was 5pm the following day, more than 24hr. Very rude! I went to another Enterprise 3500 S Lamar Austin, Chase couldn't have been nicer and is helping me get a car 12 tomorrow.”
“Enterprise of port huron mi sucks. I ordered a wagoneer for a trip to have room for my family and our stuff .I got there to find they were giving me a 15 passenger van the seats did not go down they refused to remove seats so we had to put our cooler and suit cases on the seats ,and could not take my husband's hover round which is why we got the rental in the first place. I do not recommend enterprise of porthurn to anyone go with Michels you will not get what you need other wise. We even ordered a week in advance. We also need the 4 wheel drive do to the weather van did not have it. I rate enterprise 0.”
“Difference in rental prices for insurance companies and people are huge.
Employees try to charge extra for the day that insurance company already paid.
The reserved cars are located in different places but I wasn't informed about that at the day of reservation and had to spend extra time for pick up.”
“I made a reservation a month in advance. I confirmed my reservation the night before. I went to pick up the car and there was none available. Why make a reservation? This is today the day before Thanksgiving. They could only say sorry for any inconvenience. Now stuck in Amherst, MA and my family is in Vermont. What a horrible company!”

I reserved my car through a third party ap - picking up a nice SUV in Atlanta and dropping off in Savannah. Paid in full prior to ever picking up the car.
I arrive in Atlanta. They ask where i will be returning the car - I say Savannah. They put me in this old explorer that shakes when going over 25mph.
I drop off in Savannah a few days later and somehow they can’t find my reservation there and don’t want me leaving this car they don’t claim is theirs.
I show proof. Finally able to leave the car (almost missing my flight)
Then, days later I get an email from enterprise saying I owe $300 additional for the different location drop off.
Currently in a credit card dispute over this fraudulent charge.
I will NEVER use enterprise again. Worst customer service ever. With bogus claims to add charges.
Even clicking ONE star is too generous for them.”
“Enterprise on 211 in Middletown NY- the nastiest people I have ever met. The day of pick up, they advised me that for a 12 plus passenger car- a credit card is required, but I was not informed. My husband had to call them to confirm the reservation and when he came in the day before to make sure the van was available- he was never once informed that a credit card was required for large vehicles and when he went the day of pick up he was told that a credit is required. When he asked why he wasn't informed of this, when he spoke to someone via phone and in person, they lied and said I heard my coworker tell you when she called you. But my husband called them. They were so unprofessional!! They refused to help in any way. So i had to go pick up my husband and during my break from work from a hospital job, which is not easy to get a break most times and 30 mins is all i had, but I went to give him my car. When I went in to speak to a manager and ask for the form that specifies that a credit card is required for large vans, she printed the form out and when I read it with her and saw that it did not indicate it- I asked for her to call the hot line to file a complaint. She refused and so I asked her to provide me with the number. She did and while I was holding the paper, standing at the desk she snatched the paper out of my hand and ripped it and refused to give me another one. There was no apology and no assisting me with other options at all. If you can avoid renting from here, please avoid at all cost. They are not helpful or friendly people at all and they just lost the company money. Now, I have to find a rental last minute and hope they its 1. affordable and 2. available. My sister is married to a man in the Marines and I have not seen her or her new born baby and they are being stationed else where after Thanksgiving. So now, I won't even be able to meet my 2 month old nephew and these people at the Middletown office did not care enough to help me with other options. If i could rate this a zero I would!!!!!! They ruin my thanksgiving with my family, who dont live right around the corner.”
“I still do not have a car. I received my rental drive it for two days before the alternator broke. I paid for road side assistance but they were useless. They kept sending me to locations without cars. I was assured they called ahead to guarantee inventory but two locations and 7 hours later I was without a car. I have to keep calling to remind them that I am without a car. I have had to pay more to accommodate the fact that I am without a car and when I ask how enterprise will make this right, the rep disconnects the phone. Horrible customer service.”
“I am extremely disappointed in Enterprise, and as a FLEET professional who already leases 80 vehicles from them... I dont know how to continue a relationship with an organization when their customer service is so poor and who lies to their customers.
I reserved a Luxury SUV on November 22, 2024, with a scheduled pickup time of November 26, 2024 at 12pm thru December 11, 2024, for a $1800 15 day rental. I called at 11:10am on November 26, 2024, to verify my vehicle would be available and ready, and received verbal confirmation it would be. After ordering an Uber for $37.75, I arrived at Enterprise in Redlands, Ca., at 12:25 pm. After waiting 20 minutes in line they called my name and after getting to the vehicle, it was wrong (they gave me another customers vehicle, that was also waiting.) So, I go back inside, wait another 10 minutes, explain to the agent and then they ask if I can be patient, while they look into my reservation. After another 10 minutes of scrambling I am told that they do NOT HAVE THE VEHICLEM, that I had reserved 4 days prior / the one I CALLED AND VERIFIED was there and available, one hour prior.... they proceeded to attempt to sell me on something they did have, which is when I shared that I rented that specific size and class because we are driving to Tennessee and specifically due to my wife's severe disability (90% paralyzed from a botched chiropractic treatment in 2021) and the power wheel chair, manual wheelchair wouldn't fit in the standard SUV. So, after waiting there until around 1:20, I called corporate customer service, which was laughable because she said WE CANT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. (WTF Are you doing then?)
At 2:30pm, THEY FINALLY found a full size, smaller, and lower grade SUV and as consolation gave me a free days rental.”

“Worst car company EVER! I spent over $3500 to rent their cars specifically a jeep only for the employees to say it’s theirs for the drive back?!!! This is absolutely disgusting behavior. I follow the standard procedure for renting in Advance! Only for them to say “ sorry we no longer have that vehicle”. It’s a game well played and I will never use this company ever again and refer my clients to another company.”
“If you want a car that smells like smoke and vibrates at 65 miles an hour, enterprise is the way to go. Otherwise beware there is no customer service and there’s no swapping out a vehicle.”
“Well this is the SECOND time that this clown show at Harbour Point has called me at 4:30 the day I am supposed to pick up a vehicle at 5:00 to tell me they have no cars. Literally 30 minutes before I am to pick up with no other cars available anywhere on a holiday week. Told me to call management. So the last time I use Enterprise ever. Have a higher tier with Hertz anyway with my Amex Plat. Don’t use this company and definitely don’t use this location.”
