We purchased chandeliers from this company on sale , the chandeliers are faulty and they wont exchange and the branch manager is ignoring our calls and emails at the Nottingham branch! Absolutely ripping the costumers off and no responsibility toward costumers!

Furniture village have provided us with two lovely sofas on time. Our access is very difficult and they provided four men to get our sofas into our flat. Outstanding service.

Absolutely appalling company to deal with. Please please please anyone reading this do not make the mistake we did, buy from the many others places you can. You will regret the entire experience with buying from these cowboys. In short, lied about when the sofas we brought would be delivered. For over 6 weeks we have sat on a floor. This is due to continue for another 6 weeks so in total 4 months. Our sofas are not bespoke, they lie. Area manager has never called back. Chelmsford store manager is rude, shockingly bad and frankly should not be working at that store or any position in customer service. She lied about making phone calls, my phone provider verified this. You'll never get your samples through, never! Ordered five times. My husband has driven in to sort problems out and will be driving in again tomorrow. This is the WORST company I have ever dealt with. We are reporting with records, including the verbal insult to my husband head office. Please people reading this DO NOT buy sofas from this comoany. Look at some of the reviews, they're fake as they are on commission. Every day this continues we regret ever walking in there .they are not even the cheapest place to buy from (in case you are price driven). Anyone reading this wanting more insight I would be more than happy to give it to you.

I brought all my furniture from Furniture Village. I was told it would take between 8 -10 weeks. I didn't hear anything and when I went back to the store, I was told half of it was in the warehouse and they gave me a number for ME to phone. After 20 mins waiting I was told all my order was ready and booked a delivery date. The morning of the delivery, they phoned me to say they had lost one of my chairs. Surely they should of kept all my order together

We ordered an expensive bed and was told it would take 3 - 4 weeks to deliver. I had a confirmation email confirm a delivery date. The day before they were due to deliver I was contacted to say they had 'lost' the mattress. A second and third delivery date was set and the same thing happened. On the 4th attempt the bed was delivered but our mattress had still not been found. We were offered a loan mattress!!! The bed arrived and when they came to put it together one of the feet didn't screw in properly and a bolt on one side would not screw into place. This has been a disaster from the start. They even had to borrow tools to put the bed together! I still have a broken bed and a loan mattress. Shocking experience, I will never buy from this company again.

I brought a three piece suite from Furniture village eighteen months ago in white leather. This was to replace white leather suite brought twenty years ago and to go with six leather white dinning room chairs and cream leather armchairs that have been in the conservatory for some seventeen years all with no stains. The one I purchased from the above company has now got stains from fabric dye on all of the seats. I was told by the company that it was not the leather it was our cloths. I also took out guardsman protection on the furniture which was a complete waste of money I agree that it is not the leather it is the dye they are now using which is over sensitive to any fabric dye do not buy any leather goods from this company and do not be fobbed off with furniture protection you are better going to a small furniture retailer paying a bit more just for the piece of mind. I will be pursuing this through the courts watch this space

My worst ever experience with this company I ordered a bed for my son having waited 4-5 weeks the bed arrives, then they said no mattress which I paid for then the find the mattress. The legs couldn’t go into the bed base so they have left the bed on my new fluffy carpet for over two months now and haven’t dealt with the issue in a respectable manner I am absolutely disappointed with furniture Village with the after care never would I shop from there again. Please stay well away

Having spent 10 weeks waiting for our bed to arrive, we received a broken £3200 bed. Both draws in the base were broken. Neither opened properly and they were physically coming apart at the joints with 10mm gaps exposing the dowels. We have tried for the last 5 weeks to get this bed replaced. Promise after promise has never manifested. The delivery drivers walked mud through the home and tore wallpaper in the bedroom. They also used the toilet and left it covered in poo. From start to (not even) finish its been absolutley dreadful. We have had to go through resolver and trading standards now as Furniture Village are doing nothing despite promising to resolve the issue 5 weeks ago. Absolute sham

Advertised as Xmas Delivery. Went in ordered and only a week later told the delivery would be after xmas! In fact it was end of Feb!! Paid for Guardsman, had a spill and straight away realized this treatment had not been applied. Although Guardsman are an Insurance also, contacted furniture Village who did not want to know at all. Contacted Guardsman who sent cleaner out, and made the sofa even worse! I went back to Furniture Village and told them there was no treatment, their answer was that furniture to be treated goes on one side of the warehouse and non treatment goes on the other. Obviously my suite went on the wrong side!! I asked for the treatment to be done, but they insist it has been done. We had no paper work from them to say the treatment had been done. Then they said we needed to speak to Guardsman to ask for a certificate. Guardsman do not apply the treatment, so how can they verify something when they only supply the Insurance side of it. Also the footstool had damage on 3 or the 4 feet. Basically DO NOT BUT ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!

Ordered a sofa for the living room online from Furniture village. Following a telephone call, delivery was arranged for a few weeks later. Patiently awaiting for my sofa, behold something was bound to go wrong! 16:45 the evening before delivery day I receive a phone call from the manufacturer Mark Webster stating the sofa has not been made! Baffled and disappointed to say the least I cancelled immediately both from the manufacturer and Furniture Village. Then reading further on Mark Webster Furniture Design there weren’t many great reviews. If only this had been known before ordering. It’s a shame Furniture Village are losing business due to their suppliers.

Very nice woman in Pembury store said they’d price match on 8 latex pillows. When I found a better price, I was then told no by a different employee - and rudely. Was first time in store and will never return.

If you purchase anything from this store you’d better hope that nothing goes wrong with it because they won’t want to know. We bought a pair of what we were advised as a top of range power recliner sofas in the Natuzzi range. We paid an extra £225 for the Guardsman super elite cover for the power recliners. The sofas were over £5000 in the sale. Within an hour of delivery one of the recliners broke, this was repaired approximately a month later. Had the same fault on the sofa again in October 2018 where the recliner takes itself to furtherst recline and won’t go back. I phoned Guardsman on 9th October and have made countless calls, emailed Furniture Village and ombudsman and still FIVE months later they haven’t fixed it. I am told the part is in there warehouse where it’s been since 14th February!! Disgraceful service all round, don’t be fooled into thinking you are buying quality from them or to get good customer service.

Appalling service from beginning to end. We asked for a standard double, they ordered a small double then after a 2 month delay in delivery they charged us £90 for the trouble. Avoid Furniture Village like the plague. No concept of customer service.

"You're in safe hands"....Yeah right! If I could give 0 stars I would. I have had nothing but trouble from this company and I advise you to NOT purchase anything from them. I ordered a divan bed and mattress back in January (January 6th, to be precise). I was told the delivery is 3 weeks, which is fine. Received a call saying that the bed will be arriving on 26th Jan. Perfect! Recieved a phone call on 24th Jan from the delivery department informing me that the mattress had arrived but the divan base had not and because of their company policy, the mattress had to be sent back. They then rescheduled the delivery for the following week. Again, I received a phone call 2 days before the delivery date stating that the divan base had been delivered but no mattress, yet again it had to be sent back "due to company policy". Third time lucky, the base and mattress were due to be delivered on 8th Feb. We had a delivery at long last...the base was delivered and put together, only to then be told they had broken the castors while putting it together. I then questioned about the mattress and was told that they had not received a mattress. At this point, patience was wearing thin. I contacted the delivery department and was told "when we have an update we will contact you". Famous last words! I then took to Twitter to express my frustrations and was contacted by someone called "Lucy". She said that we could cancel the whole bed and re-order it, which will take another 4 weeks. I really don't understand the logic behind this, but anyways said she would investigate and call me back...I didn't receive a phone call back. So i continued to chase it. All the while, i was told it wasn't Furniture Villages fault, it was the suppliers. I again, took to Twitter as I've found this is the quickest way for a response. Again "Lucy" contacted myself and again said this needs to be sorted. But it was not. I expressed how frustrated I was that I was having to do the communicating, as Furniture Village are incompetent! I rang on 25th Feb as I was losing the will to live. We got rid of our old bed due to redecorating and the delivery of the bed tied in with finishing the room. So no bed and no explanation from either Furniture Village or their so called customer service team. I finally was told that the mattress would be coming into the delivery department on 27th and it would be delivered on 2nd March. I have just rang the delivery department and they have physically seen the mattress and told me that I will be expecting it on the 2nd. Fingers crossed! I will NEVER EVER by anything from this company AGAIN!

We bought our Tangier Corner Sofa in April 2017' it was delivered in August 2017. I have followed the care instructions and ensure the back cushions are plummed every day, but still they have lost their shape and are lumpy. I sent an email to my local store in Ruislip on Tuesday 19th February and called almost every day since but still have not spoken to the very elusive Store Manager, who has always left for the day, or the Sales Manager who is always in a meeting. I think now it is time to bring my cushions in to the store and let potential customers see what their furniture will look like after 18 month. Absolutely appalling furniture and service, at least they are consistent with something!!!

Mis-sold a £900 mattress in furniture village in Thurrock. Explicitely told it was medium firm and good if you have a back problem only to find it was medium soft and like a sponge when it was delivered. Store manager refused to call me back until their own customer services insisted and then flatly refused to help with either refund or exchange stating their T&Cs as an excuse for me to lose £900. No attempt to compromise even though online orders can be exchanged within 14 days. Shocking, uncaring service, which has left my heavily pregnant wife very distressed. They don’t even pretend to care, it’s just about rushing you to sign and take your money.
