“Dont buy from these ,Absulate joke of a company.let down on 4 occasion for delivery and now are 3 bits missing on our log cabin.so far 16 days and still not got our parts and everytime you email them they press a button to send you the same reply.no help whats so ever but are very quick to take your money.worst company I have ever had dealings with and hope you all read these reviews as we wished we had and would have saved all this stress and aggrevassion. Still don't have a day to recieve our goods but they are so sorry.not bad as they have had our order since 9th March and still not complete.jokers”

“DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY - Wish I had read these reviews before purchasing. It seems I have had a very similar experience to many others. Delivery was fine and although I didn't expect to have to help unload it I didn't mind helping. There are lots of bits and none have product numbers so it takes a while to match them up to the product list. The instructions for my log cabin were difficult to follow, even more so as they were for the 14x8 version when I had bought the 12x8. The timber quality is not great, with a lot of chips, splits and dents but was in good enough condition to do the job. All the fixings are in one bag, which is annoying, but not the end of the world. However, half way through construction I realised I didn't have enough of a certain type of wall boards to finish. The product list specified 17, I had 15, but somehow I was 10 short of what was needed. Customer services were polite, but not very helpful and struggled to even find my order. I requested the replacement parts and now I am waiting, with a vague timeline for delivery, hopeful that they will arrive before my cabin gets ruined by the weather. I hope others read this and look elsewhere for thier purchase.”

“Wish I had read the reviews before making my purchase! Delivery was later than told when brought. Missing parts on delivery for roof but we only noticed after delivery as it comes as loose pieces of wood!! Poor instructions. We now have a half built summer house with no roof.. was told 2-3 days for roof parts to then receive nothing after re arranging a man to come and yet again build our summer house. Now we haven’t heard nothing from the company and are waiting with a half built house that’s getting wet! Poor customer service!! Never would use this company again. Extremely disappointed”

“Whilst the delivery arrived on time parts were missing, received email saying missing parts had been shipped which was not true as when I tracked the shipment the courier stated no parcel recieved! Over 10 days later still missing the roofing felt etc. Eventually had to go & buy some felt myself. Quality poor with gaps & warped sides had to use expanding foam & buy filler wood strips to hide the gaps. My fault should have read the reviews! You have been warned.”

“I ordered a shed and they delivered to wrong address. They sent photos of the house they delivered to. I had to send photos of my house. Which was obviously different...and they said my only option was to report it missing to the police and get a crime reference number. I spent every night for nearly 2 weeks on the phone .telling them the same thing no one was interested ...my wife was on the phone to them to.. and eventually got me my shed ...went to build it and it's been a nightmare ..had 2 of my neighbours in as they are in the building trade ...they both said it's shocking materials nothing was straight....so if your thinking of buying a shed get it locally. You might pay a bit more money ..but if you have any problems you can go and visit face to face .. hope this has helped you .”

“Total rubbish was delivered on flat bed lorry at 10.45 PM and l had to help the driver unload as there was no hi ab crane l am 71 years old. All the screws pins and nails etc over 1800 were lumped together in one bag. Poor quality machineing led to very difficult construction. Lots of work on my part needed to make fit as two apexes cut wrongly.They use a Phillopino call centre whose staff have no idea what they are talking about.They are extremely rude. Only buy if you are stupid worst cabin l have ever constructed.”

“Waited over a year to write this review to be able to give a honest review of the products. Bought two sheds one 8x6 and one 10x16 both are tongue and grove with the best floor that you can buy from this company. and with tongue and grove roof. with heavy duty mineral felt. I will skip over the 8x6 review as it is ok nothing special just ok. not worth the money I think you can find better for the money. It did arrive with all that was required to build it. However the 10x16 is a total joke. It came with all required to build however they had to send another floor peace that took over a week. The timber was full of holes where the knots in the timber had fallen out. I treated the whole shed before it was erected. One year on and all the tongue and grove is coming apart. It is so bad you can see out into the garden through the cracks.This shed will have a short life at well over £1000.00 it is very poor quality. the windows are very bad. had to replace with glass. To sum up go buy somewhere else these are very poor quality. for the money you can get a lot better. I now need to buy a small shed for some bicycles but it will not be from Garden Buildings Direct!”

“I ordered a shed from Garden buildings Direct paying an additional fee for a Saturday delivery. After receiving numerous messages saying delivery would be between 11am and 5pm. Therefore I waited in all day only to receive a call from the delivery driver at 9pm telling me he wouldn’t be with me until after 11pm and therefore it was too late. I told him after waiting in all day that I’d still accept at 11pm at which point he put the phone down on me. At 6.50am on the Sunday morning I received a text and email telling me they would be with me in 30 minutes. An hour later I emailed the company to check what was happening to be told that it was a mistake and there would be no Sunday delivery! This company is a joke and I strongly advise not doing business with them, only wish I had read the other reviews before making my purchase.”

“Ordered my shed in febuary with no issues until delivery; I had an initial bad feeling when it was delivered; the driver offhandedly told me two parts were missing and would be redelivered with no reason. Said parts never arrived, took countless attempts to get through to customer service and eventually they sent out one of the parts in April. I still have not received the other part, it is now nearly May, and therefore cannot use the shed I purchased. I have rung and puts me through to other countries and emailed several times with no resolution. Avoid this company, essentially scamming people.”

“Absolutely shocking company. I ordered a shed and it was delivered to wrong address. Eventually after all most 2 weeks and many hours on the phone I got one delivered today ...never again ...wish I had done my research..”

“I wish I had done my research before purchasing from this company. I had similar issues as everyone else has had on here. Extremely poor quality, poor finishing, poor workmanship, incorrect instructions, unassembled T&G roof when advertised as assembled. Was provided with V3 instructions when the latest is V7. Lesson learned but not sure my 5 year old daughter will see it that way as this was her birthday present, how bad do I feel!!!”

“DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! nothing they advertise is true, i went for the thickest log option they had, most expensive i should add, it was delivered and at the time driver reported faulty felt. they said they would replace it but after i got rid of the damaged part they asked for pictures! With regards to the shed itself, nothing fits properly. Wood was most likely stored i damp condition, as everything is warped, i had to hire builders to come in and fix it all as these guys were not interested. Keep emailing me same messages - most likely automated, saying how sorry they are to hear about the issues, but they never action anything. I told them in the end i would like to return it all and get my money back, thy said someone from cancellations team will call - and they did leave me a voicemail after 8pm - i called straight back and guess what - they don't take calls at that time as the office is shut! i told them i will take partial refund after and they are not interested - only wanted to recover the extra £400 i spend on fixing that cabin. They said as per their T&C they don't do that and if i want to return it they will collect it but i have to take it down myself and then they will charge me another £400 for collection!!!! this company is an absolute joke, there is no customer service, their sales guys will read you scripts saying "its like lego, quality is great and it all fits" this couldn't be further from truth. DO NOT USE THEM, THERE ARE PLENTY OF OTHER COMPANIES WHICH ARE BETTER QUALITY AND CHEAPER!”

“Same company as BillyOh, Kybotech Limited & Gardenbuildings direct - NOT GOOD EXPERIENCE, should have trusted reading all the reviews they are a complete waste of time. Ordered a 10x9 metal shed on Sunday 17th March. Arrived as promised on Friday 22nd, on order BS99068. Centre cap section that runs along the top of the roof missing, all recorded as requested and replacement requested. Promised delivery 29th - told 29th not arriving. Promised delivery 5th - told 5th not arriving. Promised delivery 10th - guess wot just told not arriving and no new date yet. Will it ever get here - Probably not. The UK call site is extremely rude - pleasure to initially purchase then basically no words, just instantly transferred to overseas call centre - ignorant and not interested in helping. Overseas centre are pleasant, but absolutely no help - can only spout pre-agreed excuses and generate a new promised delivery date that 4 times later is just a waste of a promise and an email. I'm now going to local DIY store to buy couple of 2m aluminium ridge plates for £35 and fit myself. Please, please avoid this company - nothing but pathetic excuses and no real effort to resolve issues - they only want your money and make it very hard to initially refund and just try and time waste to over the 28 day rules - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED - they are no good.”

“I wish I had read the reviews on here before buying from them. Our experience is similar to most people's. The product description is completely untrue. We purchased a BillyOh Pent shed. Poor quality does not sum it up, it is so terrible, and I am so upset that they will not sort this out. We have to pay to return the item, despite the fact they have totally misrepresented the product online. I stupidly trusted the reviews on their website, but in hindsight it is clear that the reviews relate to other products. It does not fit together, it will clearly leak water, there are no steel beams as per their description, and so on. Absolute joke of a company - I was told on the telephone that their Finance Department would call me to discuss collection without paying as the product description was so misleading, but we had no call and so back to communicating by email with their standard line of... we will refund if you pay for collection.”

“Poorest quality item I've ever had to fit!! really not fit for purpose. I fitted one of their summerhouses at the weekend for a friend, it was an embarrassment, just cant believe how they can get away with selling such a pile of junk! cant see it lasting more than a couple of years and we are having to spend more to strengthen it. P.S. I'm a joiner and I would never fit one of their products again, after reviewing their prices I think I could have competed using quality materials. Poor design, poor timber and extremely flimsy, sorry to go on but I felt bad for the customer.”

“Nightmare of a company. Firstly although id already paid 3 grand for a log cabin they wouldn't send as delivery address was different to billing, 2 weeks later the shed arrives and after starting install 2 side base beams missing and a high percentage of badly warped beams. Foreign call centre worse than a chocolate fire guard. After 6 calls and many hours im still trying to get the missing parts. Despite many promises no parts and none of the promised emails arrive! Buy from this company at your peril as you have been warned.”

“put the sides of the shed up when it came to fitting the roof the roof was not square the roof trusses would not support the roof so had to make a strong perlin out of 3x2 wood at my expense the double doors are twisted and very flimsy to say the least framing very thin I used to erect sheds my self but this one is very mind numbing as nothing matches up I would not buy from this company again.”

“I bought two buildings 10by 6 and 14 by 8 when delivered the driver made 3 different stacks of loose wood . On the understanding I was told they would be in packs, not the case so I had over 300 bits of wood to measure which I wasn’t prepared to do after paying over 1800 pounds. So after many telephone calls I decided to cancel my order as it wasn’t as they said . So now they want to charge me 248.00 pounds for collection when it was there fault . If I was you I wouldn’t use this company ever”

“Such an awful company. Never had such a poor buying experience in all my life! Would 'Anonymous' who wrote below that they had successfully won a Small Claims Court case against Kybotech be prepared to share info' as to which County Court this was in and the date and/ or case number? This may help many more of us who have contributed reviews via this invaluable website.”
