This company is a scam. Do not use them. They sell expensive tickets but the tickets are fake and not recognised at the venue.

Terrible Service - Complete RIP Off. booked an Auschwitz tour for 1200 and private transfer for 6 people. Booked months in advance but told afternoon before that tour time had to change from 1200 to 1530. Private transfer time could not be changed for cancelled similar £200 transfer through no fault of my own and Get Your Guide would do nothing to help. Avoid like the plague!!

I contacted GetYourGuide about a private rental car with driver to visit waterfalls in Yogyakarta. They came back with a suitable itinerary. The payment date rolled around 2 days before the tour. Once the payment is made you cannot get a refund I paid the money and they sent me a completely changed itinerary with no waterfalls. I couldn't get a refund. The driver arrived in a crappy car and an hour late. I started on the tour but the first site was so pathetic. I gave up.

I can’t comment on the guide itself but I can on the proces. I made a wrong booking, contacted the support within 10 minutes but nothing could be done. No money back. Make sure pay with creditcard or find a other provider.

Booked a trip in Koh Samui through Getyourguide. Turned up at 8.30am, 1/2hr before the designated meeting time of 9am, waited until 9.15am, nothing, no one turned up and no one tried to contact us. Eventually managed to get a representative at the company that finally said the guide wasn't coming and cancelled the trip - at that point we were just left stranded. Told us that the guide would phone us to explain but that never happened. They tried to rearrange for the afternoon but we were on a cruise so the times were impossible for us. They did refund us and I appreciate it wasn't exactly their fault but it is their responsibility to ensure the guides turn up and keep in contact. We were literally left deserted. Very disappointed with Getyourguide

I booked 2 tours in Vietnam and I paid extra for cancellation policy. I got an email confirming that I can cancel an hour before and get a percentage however when I tried to do that hours before I could not do it on the app and no one responds to my messages, very misleading and disappointing. I would not use get your guide ever again.

Was trying to book a "special discount" tour yesterday for August. Every time I tried to book at the reduced price, I was alerted "something went wrong, please try again". I tried for about an hour wanting to get the special price and every time I reloaded the page the price increased and I still could not book. No contact email for help either. AVOID!!!

Avoid. You see the price, then it changes at some point while booking. If you booked, support will tell you that you had to check the price on every step and ask for screenshots when it changed. If you don't have any screenshots, then sorry, but you can't cancel the event. Your money is gone. We ended up paying more for the event than was offered on the street in tourist zones.

Only had the option to pay for two seats on a tour but it was my birthday and I wanted to take it. I was told I couldn't get half my money back because I took someone else's seat yet there were 5 open seats on the van I was in and even more in the other van... Rip off! And on my birthday!

I had a bad experience withe GetYourGuide. I made a reservation for 2 tickets to the Vatican, and when the date was approaching I tried to go to the website to confirm the reservation and I didn't get any information. Upon returning from the trip, I ended up seeing the ticket charge on my invoice without my authorization. GYG2RAG7V3BW

We booked a day tour in English with GetYourGuide. However, The local company booked us to a tour in German. We have discovered this by chance the day before. They admitted it was their mistake and offered to book us on an English tour the next day. Although it was not great we agreed to the new arrangement and got a confirmation message for the change in GetYourGuide app. The next day we were never picked up! Calling the company they said we were not on their list… This low level of communication between GetYourGuide and local companies and no accountability has been a frustrating and stressful experience which is better avoided…

Absolute zero support for suppliers. I have been locked out, they implemented requiring an Authenticator app, but don't supply a QR code. You can't call them, you can't email them, you can't chat with them. Our rep is out of the office for 2 weeks with noone available to assist us. For such large company they are a complete joke. Probably going to drop them, as soon as I can access my account again. Pathetic.

It's evident that I fell victim to a scam. I was lured into investing more than $120,500 under the impression that I was earning profits. However, when I attempted to withdraw my earnings, they continuously demanded additional funds before allowing me to access any of my money. I had a booking from Kandy, Ella Sri lanka on the blue train I had this booked for over a month before going ,I had downloaded the app and my tickets where there. I asked a question about the availability for changing my destination, and they said that there were no more, tickets in 1st Class, for which I paid $105 each for two tickets. When we reached our hotel the day before,I went on the app just to check , and that was when I discovered they had canceled my tickets. We had travelled 3 hours to get the train from Kandy. I did not want to cancel just wanted to ask the question. I did get a refund,but we had to get our driver to take us to Ella which cost us more with our trip which was unnecessary. I noticed the tickets were being sold again for $138 dollars each. I would suggest that anyone wanting to buy tickets don't get conned that they are in demand, I met so many people who had issues with this. We had to get our Driver to drive us to Ella. I am going to contact the Tourist police about this issue as I think it's a scam. And the last thing Sri Lanka wants is a bad review by tourists as the government has a private company look after the get-your-guide trains. From what I've learned they sell all these tickets then, cancel some and resell them at a higher price. I met people who only paid $12 .I had an online chat to find out why they had canceled in the first place ,and what came back was there was civil unrest in the country which was a lot of b sh... because the train hadn't been canceled and our driver said straight away this is a scam. D

694 / 5.000 Very bad experience with Get your guide. One week before the trip to Athens I found out that 2 of the 5 people planned couldn't come. I wanted to cancel the tickets I had bought long before. It cost me half a day and I got nothing done. They bombarded me with a lot of paragraphs and the two tickets, each costing 12.99 euros, were not refunded. People, give the company a wide berth. They've grown too big and individual customers are no longer valued there. I lost more time and nerves than the two tickets cost (26 euros). I'm very disappointed and I can't believe that such a big company can be so greedy.

Unreliable service partner. We have provided two experiences via them, for non of them we were paid. We are stopping to accept their tickets. Impossible communication. To every very concrete question we have received just general most probably machine generated answers not answering the questions. After they stopped to communicate.

Such a bad experience. Booked two excursions in Spain, based on what was asvertised. When we received confirmation of the first trip and that it did not include what had been advertised, we cancelled within the fiven time frame. When we enquired about our sexond trip, we were advised that it had been cancelled due to our first trip being a ‘no show’, which wasn’t true because we had cancelled. We were told that we had to book and pay for our second trip again, but that we would be reimbursed. We did so in good faith and had a wonderful experience. However, ipon our return home and after enquiring about our refunds, we had to provide proof of correspondence (cancellation, double payment etc.), which we did, but after that the corresponce stopped and four months later we have yet to be reimbursed.

I have booked many trips with these and usually no issues, I booked a trip to the natural history museum in london, I didn’t realise it’s actually free entry and these guys advertise it as entry and a tour guide but it’s just on the app. I asked for a refund as we didn’t use the tour and there’s free entry but was told we should have checked the terms and conditions!
