“DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH GOOSE CREEK CANDLES!!!! Customer service is non existent. Quick to charge you and get payment but it has been over a week and I still don't have my order. I have reached out to them several times with no answer as to where my order is. Online status says "order placed". Well duh, I know that! Don't know why I ever gave them a 2nd chance. Calling my bank to dispute/reverse charge. I will ONLY shop @ Bath & Body Works from now on. They know how to do it right.”

“Goose creek customer service is the worst! From the time you order to the time they ship is absurd. I received 8 of my 11 candles and they were shattered beyond belief. So badly that when you would reach in to grab them, they crumbled in your hand. Was hoping for replacements but they just refund you…refund process is ridiculous as you have to send individual photos of the damaged products. Because I ordered two of one scent I then needed to photo them together. So here we go! Reach back into the box of shards and pray your hand doesn’t come out bloody. I then gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered for my second time. Two weeks to ship and the only reason I’m assuming it finally shipped was because I sent a not so nice email. I then get a refund notification because two of my candles were now out of stock. Sure they were!!! Because it took forever to package my items to ship out. When I asked why they don’t just email to ask if you’d like a different scent, I’m sent a $5 giftcard. Oh gee, thanks. $5 doesn’t even cover their shipping fees. You have to spend $100 to get free shipping. The lack of empathy on their replies is a huge eye roll. No worries. This will be my last time ever ordering from them as both times were a catastrophe. I am really hoping my 17 candles arrive in one whole piece as I have ordered a total of 30 candles and so far I’ve received 3 that were intact.”
“Zero customer service, no way to reach anyone to resolve issues. This company doesn't let you know they shipped an order, and the last two orders I placed haven't reached me. I've had to do a charge back with the bank. I'm done with this company. They are awful. The product is good, but customer service is sadly lacking.”

My husband loves the smell of candles and uses warmers and all he lights candles daily when he get home from work. I ordered 12/19 didn’t expect them by Christmas but was hoping a few days later. Emailed 12/29 and got the same old lame excuse, they were busy, they usually have orders 2-4 days but due to the last minute orders they were running behind but asked if I was going to cancel.
Sent another email 12/31 and as soon I sent that I got an email stating order shipped, sent tracking number but it wasn’t picked up for 2 days. I finally got my order but I feel for the ones still waiting”

Emailed company and asked them to cancel my order and was told I couldn’t cancel since they stated my order was processed not shipped but processed. Amazing enough, my order was shipped the next day and finally received on 1/3/25. A little late for Christmas.”
“I’ve been a customer of GC for quite sometime because I usually really like how their candles burn and their scents are nice. I’ve only had one time that there was a shipment problem, even though it does usually take a couple weeks to receive an order. But this time, I ordered on Dec. 7, 2024 and didn’t receive my order until Dec 30! Way too late to use for Christmas! I began checking on my order after a week to see if it had shipped, but couldn’t get any tracking information at all. So I texted, emailed and did everything prompted to do online only to get zero help. And on top of this, the candles I ordered were Hot Cocoa and Peppermint scented … but have NO peppermint scent whatsoever! I could have gotten better results from buying a candle from the dollar store down the road. And believe me I’ll do that before ordering from GC again. Closed my account today. So much for supporting this small business!”
“I ordered two candles on December 18th to send to a friend. After Christmas I realized that I hadn’t seen a tracking number yet and have been trying to get help ever since. I have emailed and used their chat bot. Are there any humans there? On Dec 31st I called my bank and asked about getting my money back. I relayed this in the text app. To Goose Creek Candles. Suddenly I have a tracking number, but it’s been four days and nothing was sent to the post office to be shipped. This has to be the most frustrating purchase ever. At this point it’s not about the money, it’s the fact that they are still running huge Internet sales and absolutely do not respond when you ask nicely about your order. You can spend your money anywhere. I will never, ever give them another dime of my hard-earned money. I’m so frustrated when this should have been simple and easy. Do better Goose Creek.”
“This is the slowest shipping process ever. I think it doesn’t take as long to order items from another country. My items finally show that there is a label created. My friends took 3 weeks to get to her. The candles are not that strong. If you like a mild candle this is for you.”
“Ordered on 12/7 for arrival by Christmas. About a week and a half later my order doesn’t show as shipped so I use their email us button and ask for an update on my order that I might cancel if it can’t be received before Christmas. Two days later I get a response that the address I emailed is not monitored so my email wasn’t received along with another email us link. I email them and ask for an update on my order status and explain I might cancel the order if it can’t be received by Christmas. They respond that they usually ship within 2-3 days but are busy because of the holiday season. I ordered almost all my gifts on-line from alot of different companies and they all arrived within days. I emailed them again and explained their response was inadequate as I needed to know if my order would arrive before Christmas and they couldn’t tell me that. Ordering on 12/7 and expecting the order to arrive before Christmas was more than reasonable. I told them I would never be ordering from their company again. And the order changed couriers in transit. Terrible customer service.”
“Horrible customer service! Ordered on 12/8/24 expecting to have them by Christmas. Didn’t happen! If your shopping is backed up, an email alerting your customers would be nice. Received order and one candle is broken. Sent email and 5 days later someone responds. I originally disputed the charge because the order didn’t ship for weeks. Now they r telling me they can’t refund me for the broken candle because there was a dispute filed. Glad I only lost 7.99 because I will never order from them again. Ordered several years ago and had the same problem…broken when received.”
“Absolutely horrific shipping and customer service. Read about how awesome their candles were and participated in a sale before the holidays. Placed my order Dec 15th and now we are well in to the New Year and just now getting a notification that they shipped! It’s January 3rd twenty TWENTY FIVE! No apology for the late order or any acknowledgment. Glad I was proactive to get a few family members gifts just to have them show up well after Christmas. Can’t wait to order again! NOT!”
“I ordered a lot of candles on 12/8 for Christmas gifts and to use during the Holidays. It is now Jan 2nd and no candles. When I receive them I will save for next year. Won’t have to buy them and Goose Creek loses sales for next year. I like their candles but don’t accept orders if you can’t fulfill them. Going back to Bath and Body. I tried emailing and the email wouldn’t go through. I’m sure they are getting hundreds and hundreds of complaint emails. I’m done.”
