This company is an utter disgrace. They are fraudulent beyond measure. DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY AS THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF. You should be ashamed of yourselves. I sincerely hope your company is liquidated at the very earliest opportunity. It is time the Authorities regulated vermin like this properly.

I will never use holiday autos again ... Although I. admit I didn't read the small print .. the fact remains I. Did not receive my car and they kept my money! (I will not waste any more of my time explaining the Debit card saga.. I will simply warn other potential victims across all social media.

having used this company I would never again nor would I recommend, my flight was delay and also was delay at airport due to having to wait on wheel chair assistance from air craft to terminal. As a result I was over 2 hours late getting to pick up car. The rental company easyrent say they do not hold cars over 2 hours, which to me is unacceptable for airport car hire, they say in terms and conditions they do not hold for late pick ups but a time limit is not mentioned anywhere. Full details of there replay is below and costs Booking Ref: GB619482750 Holiday Autos Ref: 01134619 Dear Michael, Thank you for your patience. I apologise for the delay in responding to you. We have received a response fro the rental location and they advised that your rservation was used and a charge for an upgrade was applied to your reservation. An upgrade was not requested but was told that was only vehicle available. Cost for upgrade vehicle 154.02 euro and initial payment lost 113.54 Total cost of Car hire 267.56. Every effort is made to accommodate changing pick up times, but the car rental agent is not always in a position to hold the booked vehicle after the pick-up time has passed or to keep the rental desk open. At Holiday Autos, our customer is our primary concern, but we must stand by the rental Terms and Conditions that you agreed to at the time of booking: "If: 2 - You failed to pick up the car at the arranged time and date, no refunds will be made to you." Please be advised that the above mentioned terms and conditions were delivered to you prior to completing the reservation (it is mandatory to tick the box "I agree to the terms and conditions"). They were also displayed on your confirmation voucher sent to your email address on Mon, 17-Jun-2019. Therefore, due to the fact that the terms and conditions were not met (you were late), the agreement was signed and the vehicle collected, we are unable to offer you a refund of the funds paid on this occasion. Every effort is made to accommodate changing pick up times, No effort was made as it been an airport car hire, the hire company did not check flight status or try to make any contact with me. Outside a 2 hour window to me is not considered late for car pick up from a Car hire desk, I have asked the question as to where the 2 hour window is stated anywhere in the contract Terms and conditions, (easrent reply is seen at bottom)nor Holiday autos are able to point out this time frame to me. So, this can be changed to a matter of minutes if the car hire company should wish. Please find the final invoice attached. I trust that you appreciate the fact that we do not have any influence or control over flight disruptions. I do recommend that you contact your travel insurance company, you may find you are entitled to claim a refund. Alternatively, you can contact your airline to find out if they are in a position to offer you compensation for the inconvenience caused by flight delay. I am sorry that we are unable to provide the solution you were hoping for on this occasion and I apologise for any inconvenience caused by this matter. Quite simply, avoid this company at all costs. They are obstructive, unhelpful and devious when obtaining a refund. The refund process on the site is set up to completely frustrate and deter you. There are many more reputable and trustworthy sites out there. Use those for satisfaction. Once again, avoid this company when hiring a car abroad.

Do not use this company I have hired cars in Corfu for years with no problems but this is the first time I used these cowboys and after arriving in the rain they inspected the car and put down the marks which in the rain you cannot do a full inspection upon returning the car they charged me for a small mark on the front bumper which had no signs of recent scrapes but they said wasn’t on their sheet which I never got a copy of I pointed out several marks on the same bumper which they said were previously there but this one wasn’t they charged me for a full respirated of the front bumper for a mark smaller than a pound coin as I work in insurance I asked them to send me confirmation of when the car had been repaired which they replied we don’t repaint till end of season so I questioned their financial loss as there is several marks on the same bumper all age old which I believe will have been charged for a re paint and as the work had not been done they have not suffered any financial loss and have double charged for the same job st chichi point they offered me the admin fee to be removed as this was taking an age to sort and the gear of missing my flight I have paid the extortionate bill but will be back on May to check the work has been done and if not I will be taking these to court as every car they have had damage and I don’t believe they repair it but just make money on innocent people STAY AWAY!!!!!!

Terrible company! I found a rental car service through Holiday Autos, and rented a car though them at Centauro car rental at Barcelona airport. Holiday Auto failed to warn me about necessity of International driver's license at Centauro. We were forced to pay around 130 euros for full coverage. Holiday Autos refused to give us back $63 for insurance that we bought from them, but did not need. It is a horrible company of scammers! Never use them!

It seems to be a common theme amongst all reviewers. DO NOT USE THIS SITE. I booked a rental pick-up via the site at 13.00 in Ibiza. I arrived at the collection point only to find the office closes between 13.00-17.00. This ruined my plans for a lunch with friends on the first day of our vacation. When i tried to question Holiday Autos customer support as to how their site can permit a booking at a closed collection point, they were rude, unhelpful and closed the chat on me. This site is a waste of time and the staff have no cares for their clients. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. There are far better services by booking direct.

I booked a car through this company for me, my wife and my daughter, and we were unfortunate to miss our earlier flight, so we flew out on the same day but later on the next flight, we arrived at our destination at nearly midnight and only to find out that our car had been cancelled without any messages, emails or anything at all to advise us that our PAID car rental for 15 days was simply cancelled because we had missed our flight. Me, my wife and my 6 year old daughter were now literally stranded in an airport far from everything and had to either sleep in the airport or just PAY a high price for an on demand hotel, holiday auto refused to do anything and to put the icing on the cake holiday auto said they were not going to refund us, so in my most profound honesty I would stay well away from companies like these, they are sharks and I will certainly take legal action on my return home.

I booked a car through HolidayAutos, and they offered me a VW Golf through Avis at a price less than Avis were charging. I'd asked for an automatic, and this appeared on the booking details. I noticed that Avis can't actually guarantee an automatic, so I expected that I'd arrive at the desk and only get one if I was lucky. The real issue was their website. I forgot my password, and when I followed the instructions for resetting, it said it would send a reset link to my email address. I tried three times over a few days and never received it (yes, i typed my email address correctly, yes I checked my spam folder). When I contacted the help chat facility they said "we only deal with car reservations enquiries". When I phoned, I got the same, so I have no way of getting in. That's what led me to look at online reviews of Holiday Autos and seeing how bad they were, decided to cancel the whole thing. Fingers crossed I get my refund!

Fraudulent company operating in the UK, How the owners of this site have not been arrested is beyond me looking at the other reviews. I hired a car, they said they were doing a comprehensive search but only rolled Goldcar for my 7 day stay. I paid for the car and additional cover. But was sent to one of their third party scammers GoldCar. I told them I had pre paid and did not need insurance, they took 300 deposit and I was told to return the vehicle before 9 am full of fuel for a full refund. I never saw the refund and now gold car keeps stealing £200 every two days from my credit card until canceled. I didn't notice it until I had lost over £700, I told my bank and they shut the card down and will investigate. I hope I get it back from my bank, but I will be reporting this to the authorities. This company must be stopped.

I have hired car through the site ,from gold car tenerife. They took a deposit of £1438.47 which they didn't tell me they will take out. I was told to purchase a full insurance for £195.00 even after having purchased a full cover through this website. I didn't do that hence they took the deposit. After returning the car with no scratches and full tank petrol, gold car refunded me only £1312.11 . I called the holiday autos and complained and informed I already have complained to gold car and was told speak to gold car as they can't see my bank account. According to this website company they can't see gold car charged me an extra £124.36 This is a scam and these car Hire companies and this company is doing together. I have photos of the chats I had with the agent after the booking was never told they will take the money out. It was only a deposit and full money will be returned. Please use legitimate companies when you hire a car.

Absolutely appauling service, with no customer support what so ever. Never actually took possession of the booked vehicle due to the ineptitude of the Dollar rental rep and was still made to pay full costing of that booking. Even when evidence was provided of the issues and failures to take possession of the car booked, Holiday Autos still refused to assist. Please avoid and use another booking agency.

This company is a SCAM that you should not do business with. They shared my credit card number with another company that charged my card. They have admitted sharing the credit card number but cannot help retrieve the funds. I am currently in the process of hiring legal assistance. Dreadful experience that I don't wish upon my worst enemy!

Dreadful. Fraudulent booking system - tells you one thing, you get another when you collect the car. Booking said CX5 or similar, Holiday believes that’s similar to a mokka or CX3...

Bad experience with this company. I booked a car for a Greek island months earlier. When I arrived there was nobody to meet me. I called the rental company number that had been provided with the rental - it was answered by a company on a different Greek island who had no knowledge of the booking. Then I called Holiday Autos themselves - they weren't unhelpful, but they couldn't get through to the company either and then they couldn't even provide me with another rental car the same day. Instead they told me that I should hire from another operator and then make a complaint to receive back the cost of hire with them and any extra cost incurred. In the end I lost a few hours of my holiday, had to go through the trouble of submitting a complaint and sending all evidence etc. It then took 20 days to get repayment. This repayment was near enough but didn't include the cost incurred to me by using my credit card for the new rental provider. Also the exchange rates that Holiday Autos repaid me at were pretty poor. This is the first time I have used this broker and it will be the last.

Wish I had read these reviews! Appalling experience with them, left abandoned in the car rental zone at Faro, Portugal because for some reason which I have not got to the bottom of yet, they had cancelled my booking and not told me. And yes, it was all paid for and confirmed. Do not use these people, I spent and hour on the phone in Portugal talking to somebody whose English clearly wasn't a first language which was exasperating, trying to sort something out and the best I got was 'we will send you a link to register your complaint, you will here from us within 28 days'. I eventually sourced another vehicle, not with the original rental firm, at extra cost and 3 hours behind schedule. A complete disgrace, do yourself a favour, book direct with the hire firm, I certainly will for the future.

As the previous user has stated I had the same experience holiday autos put me in touch with gold car who are yet to refund £135 a fee they take in case you do not return the car with a full tank of fuel. We did but are still waiting for our refund which holiday autos state in there email you get back when you return the car. I've always gone direct to car hire before and never had any trouble with extra fees and deposits that are taken but promised to be refunded. NEVER USE THESE OR GOLD CAR.

I decided to try holiday autos for the first time on 5th July 2019 in order to hire a car for 16th July in Alicante airport Spain. I only wish I had read all the negative reports before using this company! I proceeded with the booking and booked with a company called InterRent in Alicante terminal. I thankfully did not pay any money up front. I received an email from holiday autos saying that my booking is still being processed and I would receive confirmation soon. Ok then decided to check reviews about InterRent as I hadn't heard of them before. Every single review warned customers to stay clear, avoid, don't use etc etc.!!! I panicked and went with my gut. I immediately went back to holiday autos on line and tried to cancel my booking ( which was free up to the day before travel). It would not let me cancel!! So I took initiative and phoned my credit card company to explain what happened. Told them I didn't want this company taking my money as I didn't want to use them. She blocked the transaction, cancelled my card and ordered me a new card much to my relief. I could have saved myself a lot of hassle if only I had checked the reviews first! I decided to use Record go in Alicante terminal as they got excellent reviews. Incidentally it is now 8th July (2019) and i still havent heard a peep from either holiday autos or InterRent ( with one week to go to my travel date!!!) So I'm glad I acted quickly and used another tried and trusted company! I would definitely avoid using holiday autos and InterRent at all costs. Very poor and seemingly unreliable service!!!
