If I could give less than 1 star I would. DEALING WITH HOME DEPOT HAS BEEN A NIGHT MARE! I wish I looked at reviews before ordering with them. If you are going to buy items from the store that is one thing but online ordering is A NIGHTMARE. I originally placed an order for pickup, when i went to the store (PLYMOUTH MEETING) to pick up the items, they told me "they had the order for 2 days but it was too large that no one wanted to do it" - The response was lazy an unprofessional. The supervisor told me they would get the items delivered for free for the inconvenience but when I called they had no record of this. I then replaced the order for delivery on July 6th and it is now July 28th and I am still waiting on items. I call every single day and every day they tell me "the items will be there tomorrow" but they don't come or some items come and not others. This is holding up my job. I tried to reorder a few items for pickup to keep the job moving and it happened AGAIN. They had no record of my pickup order even though I had confirmation. Customer service & the stores do not communicate and are useless. They will put you on hold for 40 minutes and come back with NO RESOLUTION and no compensation offer. I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE AGAIN. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND SHOP AT LOWES. YOU WILL REGRET ORDERING WITH HOME DEPOT.

Save yourself the frustration and time wasted. Just order from a different company. HomeDepot is not interested in customer service. I ordered and appliance and picked a delivery date. The company failed to deliver on selected date of July 16th as I waited at home for the entire time slot. Called HD and accepted their story that the delivery truck broke down and they could not come by the next business day. But they did send me a bill for my appliance. I picked another delivery date July 26th and traveled to location to accept my appliance. I waited from 2 to 8:30pm Delivery came even as I waited several hours after in case they were running late even as they had promised 2:30 to 6:30pm delivery. I called HD at 7pm told to wait another hour. At 8:15pm I called and asked supervisor as HD could give me no explanation as to the missed delivery. The supervisor Diana was rude and condescending. She promised to call me the next day, instead sent me a rude e-mail from a DO NOT REPLY address that she had no explanation or reschedule and said I should cancel. No assistance cancelling, I had to make another round of phone calls. So 3 weeks since my order. No appliance. No explanation. No respect. Just bills. I called HD and HD credit services five times. I spent collectively several hours on hold and and being transferred, 2 entire days waiting at home. Save yourself the frustration and time wasted. Just order from a different company. HomeDepot is not interested in customer service.

Horrible customer service and product knowledge. Do not go to the carrier and i20 location, manager Andy and Daniel are as helpless as can be. Spent $1000 on behr one coat paint as they suggested, ended up painting 3 coats to get the coverage I need. They just basically told me to contact behr for the issues. Great job Homedepot will be boycotting you and go out of my way to be at lowes instead… I shouldn’t have to contact the manufacturer for things that you carry if you got any customer service ethics at all. Thanks for nothing…

DO NOT USE PRO REFERRAL FROM THE HOME DEPOT It has been a nightmare. I had over $2000 stolen from their pro referral and after 40 emails and 20 phone calls they state no responsibility for the contractors actions. And no responsibility for leading me to him and reassuring me of his credentials. How will I ever get my money back. The contractors insurance company?

Purchase a dishwasher from them online and purchased the install and take away. The installers show up and refuse to install saying the cord is too short which is not true. Home Depot lied and said they could install a hard wire. They refused to leave my dishwasher paid in full with me and refused to take the old one. Called customer service who kept me on the phone lying and refusing to issue me a confirmation for canceling the order completely. They wanted me to pay for an electrician to install the dishwasher. JASON (who was very snide and a really ugly person, I really doubt he is a supervisor since his communication skills are terrible and he uses incorrect English when speaking) refused to give me a cancellation confirmation. Saying the dishwasher has to be scanned at the warehouse. I never had the dishwasher, it never entered my house, but I can't get a confirmation. As far as I know, the two delivery guys never took it to the warehouse. They say I should get a refund in 3-5 days. I need a dishwasher now!!

Purchased a dishwasher at Home Depot with delivery and installation. The unit was delivered on time, and unpacked. The old dishwasher (which by the way was purchased and installed by Home Depot 11 years earlier) was disconnected (plumbing and electricity) and the installer was having difficulty pulling the unit out. Without making any serious effort to pull the dishwasher out, he stated that to remove the unit I had to cut the floorboards in front of the dishwasher to get it out and they would return once I did that. I went to Home Depot and got two carpenters to consider the job and both said that was not a good idea. Went back to Home Depot and told them I wanted someone else to install the dishwasher and they said that as it is a separate contracted service they could not get me someone else but would refund the fee for the installation which they did. I hired a separate contractor to do the job. The old unit came right out. Yes, they had to tug it a bit at first as the external insulation around the unit was thick, but it came right out and the new one slid right in. The entire process was maybe 30 minutes. I will not be purchasing any appliances from Home Depot in the future until they hire competent contractors or better yet bring that service in-house.

This is a review for delivery of my LG one unit washer/dryer. Home Depot sold me the package for set up of my washer/dryer. Vent hose too small for what is in my new build house. Delivery guys put washer dryer in, left it out from the wall as I had to order a new vent connection. Said he would leave the clamps, didn’t. Got the vent hose then had to order clamps. I said will I be able to put this in place one vent attached. “Oh sure”. I can’t budge it For reference I am a senior female , 5’3” 140 lbs. I can’t speak to how the W/D works as I can’t get the vent hose connected to the house vent. My body no longer bends like that. And the “guy” also said he was going to put in a refund for the part that wouldn’t work, he didn’t. What happened to work ethic? Probably better to buy from a family owned appliance store than these big box stores.

For Home Depot to be a big company, I have had THE WORST experience. We are ProXtra members. We purchased an appliance package on July 2nd. I specifically set the date for delivery for July 13. That way it will give me time to get everything in order and give them time to get everything right. My order came on the 13th. I paid for three haul always and two installations. The delivery guys had none of that. I immediately called Home Depot customer service. Spoke with Jeanette, who sternly asked the men to at least install the refrigerator. My haul aways and other installations had to be rescheduled to the next week, which I canceled. We had to pay someone else to come install. The refrigerator leaked immediately after the guys left. I called and spoke with customer service once again. and they called dispatch. Julia from dispatch told me the guys had already checked in the warehouse for the day. It was only 12 noon. She said no one would be able to get out to until three or four days. I didn’t agree to that because my floor would be getting damaged. They sent some plumbers out that came maybe within an hour. They both pulled the refrigerator out. Said it looked good to them everything look like it was hooked up right and pushed it back towards the wall. They then told me that if the problem continues to just call Home Depot. The problem did continue I called again spoke with several people LG said they will replace it but I wouldn’t be able to get the replacement until today which is 7/21. So a week later, which is today, I left work early and waited from 2 to 630 for my delivery, which is the time I was told. No refrigerator. I called at that time and was told the driver got sick and couldn’t make his last two stops. I was placed on hold for about 30 minutes. I emailed an escalation executive and they got someone out in about 30 minutes. The guy came (by himself). He said they got him out of bed to come. He took the leaking refrigerator out. Upon getting ready to bring the (new one) in I noticed a dent on top. I told him he could just bring the old one back in. He called I guess his dispatcher named Julia who told me that I had to keep the new one if they brought the old one back they wouldn’t be able to install it and she said that with an attitude. When the refrigerator got in I noticed more damages on the back. I informed the guy. He said take pictures. It is after hours now so I’m not able to get in contact with anyone from Home Depot. The lady from escalation is out of the office and LG is closed for the evening. This has been the most terrible experience I have had with a company that I’ve paid over $4000 to. Beware Beware Beware of spending with Home Depot.

Delivery people came 3 times and would not bring fringe up stairs after we told them we had stairs. After we told them they needed three people to bring fringe up stairs.the supervisor at the delivery service was very mean and said she wasn’t going to 3 people. So we had to get them to drop it off outside. Then we had hire another moving company to bring it up the stairs. Terrible experience.

MICROWAVE RETURN POLICY MISREPRESENTED. Microwave return policy misrepresented. I went in to purchase a new microwave. They didn't have it in stock. I didn't want to buy it without seeing it. However, the salesman told me if we didn't like it we could return it for a full refund. After it was delivered and installed my wife didn't like it. She arranged to have it picked up with the promise of a full refund. After 3 weeks, no refund. My wife had to call everyday to try to find the right person, who wasn't available. They finally gave us a refund for just the microwave, not the delivery, installation and haul away, which was $144. The bottom line is we consider a full refund to to be the total cost. They consider a full refund to be just the appliance, without other charges. And they're really rude about it when you ask about it. BEFORE ORDERING ANYTHING SIGHT UNSEEN FROM HOME DEPOT GET THE REFUND POLICY IN WRITING. If we had known that before we ordered we would have gone elsewhere.

After a waiting of 17 days for a dish washer delivery the driver denied to do it alleging he could not find a parking spot and could not use the alley to unload the product - now more five days for the next day available. terrible and frustrating experience, doesn’t worth the better price.

Ordered a refrigerator from Home Depot. The delivery service came with a refrigerator with multiple dents and deep scratches. After patiently waited for another 2 weeks, they brought another refrigerator with a major dent. The delivery team is very quick to point out where the damage was even before they got the refrigerator out of the truck. We waited for another week for a 3rd refrigerator. On the day of delivery, the same delivery company (Final Miles) called and said he has a pick up scheduled. I asked him what he is picking up. I am looking for a delivery. He can pick up my old refrigerator, but I need the new one. He said he had no refrigerator in his truck. It's been over a month since I order the refrigerator. I called Home Depot to cancel the order.

Terrible delivery service. Multiple delivery attempts and no phone calls and didn't honor the e-mailed scheduled delivery. Wasted days of our time waiting at home and called customer service which took 30 minutes to talk to someone. Now we have to wait more than a month out for our fridge to be delivered.

The worse service in the world. . They drove off half hour before the window of delivery time with my dishwasher. Then left a note saying they were there. No ....but I was...I was early to receive. They lied. No phone call at anytime before or after this. I tracked it, They just show up when they want. If you don't work, and have nothering to day but sit on the porch waiting, there your guys. If you want to risk damage to your house as they drive off. Ask the Batesville Arkansas store manager. Chris. Then they aren't bringing it Till next week. Not sure if they will now. Still on truck I guess. Sorry Company.
