Everything!!! How about letting the public SPEAK to someone there… Online is a nightmare Vouchers I received.. but can’t use? Why? Help from a Robot!!.. useless… 45 mins to get my call answered only to be put through to another wait!! Total DISASTER.. how sad from a once fabulous Store!! I’ve been a customer for 30 YEARS!!!

Unable to arrange a return,online portal does not work,can’t speak to anyone in person,live chat a robot is useless.Posted on Facebook like many others with the same complaint,still no reply,used cs@houuseoffrasrr.co.uk twice for a complaint no answer still.I’ve read that people who send their items back to the address at the bottom of the invoice as not heard,do not get their refund/ money back.Also it doesn’t mention you have to pay for return postage as well as delivery.I will report to Trading standards,GOV.UK as scammers it appears since sports direct took them over.

I have never bought anything from this company but my mom decided to make me a gift a bag and unfortunately she don’t know English and didn’t read the return policy there. I wanted to return it as I found it much cheaper in another store. When I went there they said only exchange or to give a voucher but money can not come back on card! Maybe I don’t like anything from there and don’t want to buy. Like this looks like I am forced to buy from there. I never saw such return policy nowhere. We should to have the freedom to decide and plus they could understand the situation that my mom had no idea and couldn’t understand!

KEEP AWAY from these Charletons!!! Received reiss shoes and Ralph Lauren jacket in a shocking state poorly packaged. The shoe box looked like it had been sent to a hundred different people. I made a complaint to house of Fraser about this asking only for a small refund for having to return (on the basis of principle). They refused. Customer service shocking and dismissive. I hope they go into administration…. They deserve to!

The worst consumer experience I've ever had. I spent £350 on clothes, two items arrived and they were the same, they wanted me to jump through hoops to get a return label. Cheap, nasty and inadequate customer service. Avoid!

House of Fraser are no longer the reputable shop that they once were. The fact that they are now owned by the same person who owns Sports Direct is a pretty good indication of how downhill things have gone, and I'm sure that a lot of the positive reviews on here are not genuine. I placed 2 orders through HOF.co.uk. The first was 3 of the same product. Dispatched individually which I was aware would be a possibility. 2 parcels arrived, 1 did not. I then had to contact Evri before HOF would speak to me. Evri then declared the parcel "lost" and told me to go back to HOF, which I did. By that time the product had sold out, and I was given a refund. Disappointing considering it was part of a gift, but just bad luck. Placed a second order to make up for the one that got lost. Big mistake. Second order dispatched as 1 parcel because it was listed as such, however only 1 part of the product was delivered. This was clear from the delivery confirmation image, and I contacted HOF immediately. I was told an investigation would need to be launched into both the warehouse and Evri. In the meantime I had to fill out a 'denial of receipt' form, something I've never had to do with any other retailer and as a business owner myself, something I would never expect my customers to do. At this point, the product was still in stock. 3 days later and still no reply so I contacted again. A further 2 days pass, and still nothing, so I contacted again. I should mention that in each email referring to my 2nd order, I had repeatedly asked for a replacement. This morning I receive a reply asking me whether I would like a refund or replacement. Infuriating to say the least because clearly no one is reading emails properly, so I replied confirming for the umpteenth time that I wanted a replacement. Then I got a refund. I immediately emailed again to ask why they had refunded me when I asked for a replacement, to which they replied saying the product was no longer in stock. BUT IT WAS WHEN I FIRST MADE THEM AWARE OF THE ISSUE. I'm beyond livid and would not recommend shopping with HOF.co.uk, no matter how good their deals seem. The products I was purchasing were branded, and considering the first to parcels I received with my 1st order were not packaged in anyway, I do have my concerns that in both instances, my orders were stolen. Once is bad luck, twice is suspicious. AVOID.

We bought a £219 jacket on July 6th for our sister’s birthday. She tried it on at her party on 17th August. It was too big, our mistake. We asked for a goodwill gesture, armed with these facts. They said no, you bought the jacket knowing that it had 28 days refund/return policy. True. We were asking for an exchange as a goodwill gesture. It was our mistake, we accept that. They said no. We will now tell everyone how inflexible they are and will do our utmost best to not shop at HOF again. What a bunch of retail amateurs when it comes to customer service. Funny thing is that they said ‘is there anything else we can help you with’ at the end of the conversation! And then said have a nice rest of the day. Room not read then🤣

I don't usually write reviews, good or bad, but I am really frustrated with this company. I recently made an order online, which was accepted, then cancelled two days later. I then reordered, as per their advice, and this consignment was successfully processed and delivered. I then received an email from customer service, informing me that the cancelled order was a mistake on the company's part and was now being processed for delivery. I wrote back, asking them not​ to process the cancelled order, as I had reordered since, but was told that it was too late as the parcel had already been passed on to the courier. This parcel was eventually delivered, so I therefore received two identical orders and was charged twice. I sent the mistake back, enclosing a note detailing my name and order number, as no paperwork had been included in the parcel, unlike the legitimate order. I also had to send an item from the legitimate order back, due to sizing issues. I sent them separately, to avoid confusion, but nevertheless sent both parcels on the same day, at the same time, using the same delivery method. They successfully refunded my one returned item, but claimed to have never received the other parcel (their mistake!) and so declined to action a refund for the order total, which came to £90; just over a day's work for me. I spent one month patiently exchanging e-mails with three different employees in customer service, to no avail. Each essentially told me that there was nothing they could do. Nor did I receive any kind of apology from the company, at any point. They have totally lost my respect and custom. I will never shop here again.

I returned 2 out of 3 items in the same parcel and apparently the warehouse says it received the dress (refunded back to credit card) but never received the shirt! I know that I posted the 2 items as the shirt was too big. So now I am out of pocket and thoroughly annoyed and disappointed. You return things and get proof of postage and then the company says it hasn’t received an item. How is one suppose to prove it. My word against whoever dealt with my return at the warehouse?, where they probably get hundreds of returns a day. I will not be spending my money at HoF. And no one to talk to, simply emails back and forth.

Will not be buying anything off House of Fraser or Sports Direct (same ownership) on line in future. Not only do you pay for delivery, if the item you order needs to be returned then you pay the return postage. I recently ordered two items separately so had to return them separately, in total it cost me £17.96 in postage abd I have nothing to show for it. The best part of it is standard delivery charge is £4.99, return postage charge is £3.99, so they are actually making money off the postage, when I complained I was fobbed off. Also in the small print you have to wait 28 days to get your money back. It’s a shame that the business practice of this company is about squeezing every penny they can out of you via the back door, because some of the prices are cheaper people will order and not realise that if the product doesn’t fit or not what it seemed and you want to return it that the postage issue negates any savings that we’re apparent and you are left waiting a month for your money back.

NO CUSTOMER CARE!! I ordered quite a few items to be delivered NEXT DAY, for which I paid extra. I had an email from House of Fraser stating that my Delivery had been Shipped and that the LATEST ESTIMATED DELIVERY IS SUNDAY 10 JULY 2022 (my Next Day Delivery day) In the morning of 10th July, I duly received an email from their Courier EVRI to state when the delivery window was. Later that day I had another email saying that the delivery was not going to happen and that they would send me another email/Tracking info when there was any update!!!! I contacted House of Fraser 2 times via their WebChat facility and spoke to Phoebe and Heidi. They explained that there was nothing that could be done, except for refunding me the £3 for the Next Day delivery fee. Not exactly recompense nor apology for no delivery!! I was not happy as I wanted the items Next day. It does not state on the Website in the Delivery section that this is Not Guaranteed, so I have emailed Customer Services for a detailed response - am still waiting...... My Tracking has not as yet been updated and no further delivery date promised. Today I contacted them again via Webchat and spoke with Kimberley - I explained all again and that my delivery was meant to have been re-scheduled, but nothing updated. Was told MY Next Day Delivery option was NOT Guaranteed, I should have opted for the DPD Next Day Delivery option (That is £2 more but because it is a Carbon Neutral option!!) Nothing on the Website states it is NOT guaranteed. I have been told that they have to wait 48 hours before they can chase EVRI - Absolute Joke this Company Absolute zero empathy for the Customer, more concern for EVRI Don't waste you money on a Next Day Delivery and I would go to another online retailer who care for their customers!! I am looking forward to my email response explaining the Delivery criteria etc.................Very disappointed

If I could give no stars I would. House of Fraser are a complete joke. Their customer service is appalling. I will never shop here again. They deserve to go under and stay there. My complaint had to go through Resolve as I was not being helped by their incompetent employees. I truly am disgusted that in these times, a business doesn't value their customers. Unbelievable.

Guildford store is run down. Changing rooms are absolutely filthy and when I went to use one the Mint Velvet staff member was very rude telling me no more than 3 items...went to another changing room and I was allowed 5 ! Very short staffed ! Took me ages to find someone to help.

Recently order fragrance for father's day for my children to give to they dad I a reed two one was bobbled wiped and packaging was perfect the other one however was awful the box you could see was managed and had a big rip in it. On top it was covered with the clear Procter as you see in store. I'm not happy as my kids were upset too it didn't look nice giving as a gift too. Contacted the pace online and message the customer service it was a over all awful experience they were very rude and clearly didn't help at all.
