Called 4 times stayed on hold for a combined 2 hours total. Every time they “transfer you” they just hang up. Don’t bother trying to get a refund, terrible people do not buy their product!

I’m not part of the “cancellation culture” but, Even though my order of $800 dollars worth of kid stuff looks good and arrived on the time given, I had absolutely ZERO ability to contact costumer service by email OR phone. Seriously, they would not even take my email!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will never Shop or order a single thing from them again. Super stressful. Had to take a half day off work just to Be home to accept The order that I already payed $125 to deliver.Either you are open or you are closed. Listen, the delivery driver was awesome, but the circumstances surrounding the 3 week ordeal is the issue. I think I was Lucky. I will update tomorrow after I put the furniture together. Hopefully that goes well. The courier So far was the only good part.

Ordered a bed in-store and paid extra to have the bed delivered within 2 days. Bed didn't arrived on third day. Tried calling - no one would pick up and was just passed to different departments by automated messages. I went online, where I requested for someone to ring me, which they did - They told me it was an IT error at the Tottenham store and I had to go online or to the store to reorder. However, they managed to charge me and said my refund would take up to 14 days. I was told it was impossible to get through due to corona. There was no compensation for my lost, and when requested the complaint department's email, they said my email would just come to them where they will simply apologise.

I ordered curtains and was charged on 5/28/2020. The curtains never arrived (still "being processed" as of today, 7/09/2020 per the website). The customer service line isn't taking calls - unbelievable! Worst service ever! They may have my money for an undelivered product, but I will NEVER shop IKEA again!!!

Disgusting service cancelling order and taking back stuff we have as part of order at home ....... again disgusting customer care .... and what’s happening health wise is no excuse for poor service I’m afraid...... not received order on three booked in days with no contact from you to apologise or rebook .......you need to respond to customers and most of these poor reviews wouldn’t be happening !! UPDATE ..... Order was supposed to be delivered today for the 4th time, not messaged and nothing has turned up again ..... false promises every time .... think time to get onto rouge traders/watchdog and get them involved and let them see if can sort ... I think it is now more serious as taken money under false pretences .. UPDATE ..... have not received items .... no phone call ... no apology ..... no contact what so ever ... MY REVIEW HAS TO BE DONT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT GOOD HONEST SERVICE ..

For a profitable multi-national organization, IKEA is brutally hopeless with customer service. 8 weeks waiting for ANY update at all about an online order. No website chat, no one answers the phone (spent 1hr 45 min. twice). They don't deserve anyone's business.

Low quality product, disposable foam used on sofa-bed FRIHETEN. Thickness only 6 cm. Density = 34 Kg/m3 (the minimum necessary to get quality on sofa is at least 38 Kg/m3 Only 1 year warranty.

I made an online research in IKEA website and found a very cool couch. The Kivik. I went to the Alfragide IKEA store in Portugal to see and try it. At that point, I spoke with a store assistant which recommended that I buy it online with delivery and montage. After paying it, I expected to receive it in my house on the date chosen by IKEA. It is now the 3rd time that this delivery is postponed. In all of these unfortunate postponements, i have only receive word of cancelation at the end of the day. I’ve used the chats and phone calls as a way to contact the services but with little success. I feel extremely disappointed for having my item delivery cancelled 3 times and for not being warned in advance (or in due time) of delivery cancelations.

Terrible customer service - non existent. Placed 2 orders in early June - have not received, no communication, unable to track on the web. Items were showing available at Houston store, drove 50 miles and the shelves were bare. Placed orders, expecting a REASONABLE delivery time as these are small items. Totally the worst company that I have ever experienced. I don't know how they stay in business. I guess they don't care what people think! Everyone is using COVID as an excuse - with technology you could have fully operational customer service!

Wanted to go direct to the market place at the Warrington branch as web site said goods were in an isle but we were directed to walk through the entire stores one way system together with others wanting to do the same as us . This caused people jams in the store causing issues in social distancing. Why can’t the direct access be re instated to the market place to reduce people flow on the main routes and improve social distancing? At the aisle NO STOCK albeit the web site said 14 were there. Member of staff checked stock who checked other isles to no avail and we were directed to the information desk. They directed us to another four aisles as he said they were in stock. After walking around four more isles NO STOCK. Went back to information desk who had to fiddle their stock levels and we had to then drive to their other warehouse to collect the goods. Web site poor Stock system poor Staff Poor, no apologies !! Rating Very Very Poor

Made a purchase of several items that need to be assembled. Sales clerk Anna told me we could contact Task Rabbit to have them assembled. Did just that and they stated they don't service my area to contact the store for an alternate assembler. Did that to be told by Adam, Sales Manager that they don't offer another service. When I asked him what am I supposed to do since I was given bad information he nonchalantly said I could put the items myself. Suggested not to do it when I'm tired and to eat a good breakfast. This is seriously bad business. I didn't purchase those items to put them together myself. Be very careful before purchasing an disassembled item from IKEA, if you're expecting them to offer a service to assemble it.

Ordered back in May, then tried to cancel due to July delivery date, and they didn’t respond for months. Finally two days ago I could cancel on website, but now they won’t let me. I’ll be on vacation when the delivery comes! It’s lame to use COVID as an excuse to provide absolutely 0% customer support! iKEA should’ve taken no orders if that is the case. They had no problem taking your money- then leave you hanging for months with absolutely no way to resolve anything- even online. I will not shop with them again.

I’m have been in line for 45 minutes in Ikea new Haven for a return . One person is working in Returns . People have left behind me . What has happened to the great customer service ? And please don’t use Covid as an excuse . I won’t shop her again

Like many others, I cannot get an answer from IKEA about an order made in April, but originally scheduled for delivery in July (it is now the end of June and if it ships we want to be home). No confirmation, no information, no way to contact them. I understand that COVID is a big problem, but the company's response has not been to use the time to set up a competent remote customer service system, but just to refuse to interact with customers at all. So much about the customer portal is misleading. Why even say you have a means to contact CS when your call and email will not be answered. Consider the airlines: When they are overwhelmed with calls (it happens), they take your number and call you back. IKEA is simply the absolutely worst. We won't buy another thing from them.

Impossible to contact the store. Their phone lines hang up on you. Impossible to send an email unless you want to cancel your order. They take more than a month (I'm still waiting!) to ship your order. They don't send you updates about your online order either.Do not order online! I used to love this company!

I bought two Flottebo sofas and I regretted it! The back rests are sliding and falling, not immediately but gradually (around 5 minutes after you lean on them), therefore it is not working as a sofa, I am extremely disappointed. They don't work as it is described in the middle of the room with its back rest as they slide and fall (each time), you need to put the sofa and the cushions against a wall to make it work. Not to mention they are extremely uncomfortable. I am now trying to get rid of them 3 months after purchasing. I didn't get a refund as IKEA didn't admitted that it is a fault.

I made an online purchase. Firstly, it took 2 months to get to me. Then once it got here, 4 of the 7 boxes were missing. Tried calling customer support.. 2 hours went by with no response. Same with the online customer service

I ordered online and same day I sent email to cancel, no option to cancel online, convenient. Delivery was waytoo far out and needed to cancel immediately. When you send a email to cancel there is no response for days and the 888 number has no live customer service operators or it says no one is available, and shuts down. For days since I’ve been trying to get someone to answer the phone, answer my emails, nothing. But they take out the money three days later. Now I’m furious because I’m totally being ignored. it’s like nobody can cancel an order, not before they take the money. That’s terrible business antics, and no customer service, literally none. Looks like I’m gonna have to drive 30 mins out to the store, way inconvenient. Let’s see if that works.
