I ordered online three times. Each time they took my money and short after they emailed me my order was cancelled. I won’t try again. Waiting for the third refund now. Trying to call them doesn’t make any sense. I spent hours on the phone - literally to find out they can’t locate my order. Ridiculous !

I ordered and paid online for express delivery, Ikea sent me a text message saying I'll be contacted after three days on the day of delivery, before it's delivered. No contact or delivery on the "paid for" day. Took three days to get through the queue and was told "yes there was a problem with the order, can we/Ikea re-arrange the delivery?" Again no contact or delivery on the second arranged day. When I logged into my account it showed the order had been cancelled by Ikea. Six days later I could make contact and after being put on hold - after initially holding for 43 minutes I'm told to expect the refund in 5 to 7 days. I asked how much will be refunded to which they replied £214 - wrong answer I replied. Ikea then said £260 - again I said wrong answer as I had spent £264. Ikea's had my money for 16 days, they cancelled the order while the stock-checker showed they had the items, the first and on the second time when they wanted to re-arrange the delivery. I asked to speak to a supervisor to which they replied - not possible. I asked for the contact details of a manager, a contact telephone number or email address - again they replied it's not possible. I asked if I would receive an email confirmation of our conversation and the promised refund to which they replied - you'll receive a confirmation email in an hour. Still waiting for the email confirmation.

Went to Ikea in Vaughan today (November 25, 2020) to finally order my new kitchen. I was directed to a computer and told to log in that an attendant would be with me soon. I log in and shortly after a young gentleman came to assist me. He showed me how to make some changes I wanted and then said he had to go to another desk since he was service two customers at a time. I finished my changes and waited in the 20 minutes for him to come back. When he finally did come back the manager at the front desk told him to attend to a new male client that had literally just arrived. He told his manager he was serving me and his manager said "never mind, the female attendant near me, who was with another customer, could serve me when she was done", I stated that I was being serviced first and that I was waiting already for 20 minutes for the attendant to come back. The manager shouted out at me that I would have to wait for the female attendant to serve me since he was taking the young mail attendant to serve another male customer. There was no line up of people waiting, the new customer had just arrived, but I had to wait to finish my design so the male customer could be taken care of before me? Not only was the manger rude, abrasive and condescending but he was prejudice against women. Had I been there with my husband, I believe I would not have been treated that way. I WILL NOT BUY MY NEW KITCHEN CUPBOARDS FROM IKEA DUE TO THIS. The managers name is ADNAM.

If you want a divorce, buy and install an IKEA wardrobe because the instructions are appalling, it’s like the Krypton Factor, follow diagrams no written information? MDF Plywood is easily breakable and as for the 1000 pieces are they really necessary? IKEA have the cheek to say it will cost you £150.00 to assemble - It took 10hrs to but a wardrobe together never again will I buy any of there flatpack furniture again!

I ordered a PAX wardrobe and a sofa, with 3.5 weeks notice, for the day after I moved into a new property. The ordered did not arrive. After being on hold for over 2 hours, they have given me another date, 1.5 weeks away - meaning I will be sitting on the floor and have no wardrobe in which to unpack!!! All Ikea staff can do is apologise, they wont help by sorting out a quicker delivery. I tried to ask to send a van to collect, as the items come from 'distribution', they wont allow it.

Ordered click and collect, said it was going to be ready between 10-12 and stressed in the email that I be there on time to pick up my items. Arrive on time, waited until 12 and then called, waited on the phone for 40 minutes to speak to someone and finally got through. The lady told me the order was ready and I would receive the email with the code in a few minutes. I waited for the code and still didn’t receive it. Why make promises to customers if you aren’t going to fulfill them. This place is a joke. Would have been faster to go into the store myself and pick the items off the shelf. Absolutely ridiculous.

Ordered a wardrobe, half of it arrived and half missing. Waited an hour and 45 minutes to speak to someone, they arranged for it to come 4 days later. The day came, of course the delivery did not arrive. Another hour and a half wait on the phone later, they re-arranged it yet again to a few days later. Of course, the next delivery day comes and the wardrobe does not arrive. I called again, again they rearranged and again the wardrobe did not arrive. I now have half a wardrobe, they've taken my money and I have absolutely no idea when the rest will arrive, and I've already wasted hours of my life on hold waiting to get through to someone.

Don't buy anything you might return! It's been more than two months since I was given a receipt for my refund and still there is no credit on my credit card. The email option for contact is "not available" at this time and phone hold times are apparently in the one hour range (I'm waiting now for over 20 minutes). I won't be visiting their stores anytime soon!

I am very concerned about Covid 19 and the amount of touching of products by customers. The way the store is set up...with sample kitchens and bedrooms etc....I witnessed a lot of this and I am very worried about how covid can be spread. I did not see any employee actively sanitizing spaces other than the washroom....very worried

Waited over a week to pick up click & collect to get a text to say its ready but an hour later another text to say its been picked up..but not by me. Impossible to talk to anyone either by phone, internet or email. During the week did get through twice to enquire about my order but both times waited an hour and then was cut off! Horrible service and charged extra for this rubbish click & collect service. If I didn't need more shelves to add to existing ones then would go somewhere else!!!

I have never been so frustrated with a company for their lack of service. I ordered a bed 2 months ago and paid for shipping. After charging my card, Ikea canceled the order because the item was in short supply from the delivering store. I called multiple times a day for a week to even get through to an agent, and none have been successful in refunding my payment or fulfilling my order. They all say they are unable to assist me but will elevate my call. Each time they put me on hold to do this, I get a message that they don't have the capacity to take my call and hang up. I'm now out hundreds of dollars and can't even get a call through. I used to love Ikea but this is completely unacceptable.

Click and collect is a lie. Should be click and Wait 3 hours. When I received a text saying my order was ready I assumed it was ready. Very wrong, joined a large crowd of frustrated customers and clueless Ikea staff. Had to phone say I was at the store and wait for Ikea to process my order. 3 hours...

Horrible Service! Been waiting months for a wardrobe delivery and still nothing, I have called them and gone to the store and still nothing. No one is helpful enough to see anything through. Bunch of lazies that just not care enough. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! They charge a ridiculous amount of money and don’t do anything properly. No wonder the first hour of being on the phone waiting consists of messages telling not to be rude to their staff! They are useless its a wonder anyone can remain on the phone and not call them a bunch of numpties!

The item I bought was dispatched without any confirmation on IKEA's end. I kept checking my email and the IKEA website for updates but it kept showing that my order is being processed days after the estimated delivery date. I had to call them and wait to speak to a representative for an hour. Turns out my order was delivered to a neighbour and they didn't even bother to leave a note. After I finally got my item I had the pleasure to go through the most incompetent assembly instructions I've seen in my life. It seems like IKEA is doing everything to make it as hard as possible for their customers.

I ordered something online a month ago. It was scheduled for delivery two weeks ago. I can’t get any tracking information and calling IKEA is a joke. You can’t get through and then the call is disconnected. I’m not purchasing from Ikea again. Worst customer service!

Ordering and placing order online DO NOT order anything online in BC because the whole system online is extremely flawed and does not work! I decided to order a couple of cabinets online because I am not near the Vancouver store , so went online and tried 5 times to complete order and the site just kept bouncing me back to the order without ever being able to give credit card .Then I spent 30 min on phone trying to get some help .And tho the employee on the phone tried I did tell her to pass on the information to management ( or lack of perhaps ) . She sent me an email with a link I was suppose to use toggle credit card info, but it did not work either. Finally she had to take down all the information at her end , all the item code numbers and had to create order again, then I had to give credit card info over phone and then it appeared to go through. She admitted that the online system had issues and again I told her that the upper management need to fix this - the will lose business , but maybe thats what the need

An appalling company when it comes to providing after sales service. Via phone, good luck, 1 hour of waiting and you wont get through. Chat? They tell you to go in store. In store? Rude, can't be bothered, lies, absolutely awful levels of skill. It's not even a hard job, but the manager debbie, of their warrington store called me 'mr whatever your name is' because she couldn't be bothered reading my name off the screen 1 ft to her right, so it explains a lot when you wonder how someone struggles to put the right things in a box, a game 2 year olds have been playing for years. They don't care, and are actually quite threatening, when you ask them to provide their obvious lies in writing, and add their name to it so there's some accountability their attitude changes and they will reject it and ask you to leave. Lacking in skill is something I can live with, we all have a lazy day, but lying and being rude, rejecting any form of guilt, even to the point they said 'it could be anyone's fault' when i asked them if they actually though i would have driven to their warehouse and put the wrong item in a box being delivered to me. They are trained to lie, trained to deny responsibility and couldn't' care less about the customer.
