I bought £700 worth mattress in October today is December and company is not answering no money no item! I constantly recieve emails amd text to wait at home where I cancel my children school since delivery time 7-11 and my job. Howether it was error messages and item was not delivered. There is no way to contact IKEA they lines are closed last week I called and made a screenshot of me waiting on call for 1hiur 40minutes. I have applied to courts. I would not recommend IKEA delivery home!

After not receiving half of my order I thought to myself, "not a problem, mistakes happen, I'll just give them a call". I've currently made and drunk a brew, put a wash on, wasted at least half an hour scrolling through Facebook and finally got to the point of taking to the internet to write reviews about the nonexistent customer services and equal nonexistent other half of my order... there are plenty of people looking for work at the moment ikea, maybe you could employ a few of them as call centre staff?? Needless to say that when I move house next year I won't be buying any of my new stuff from ikea!

IKEA - failure to deliver. Email received on the actual day of confirmed delivery at 11.30am to say they cannot deliver! Out of stock!! Why aren't items reserved at the time the online order is placed? The item was most certainly in stock then. However, in the time between placing and paying for an order and the confirmation of the delivery date and actually delivering (around a week), they have run out of stock??! Why can't another store fulfill the order? I'm between two stores!! I have another order for next week! Will the same happen then? In addition, the delivery cost is far too much (£40). Other companies deliver for free, over a certain amount - value of order was just shy of £200. Waiting on the phone about 30 mins so far listening to Christmas songs (2020) waiting to get through to Customer Service. Want to know who to email to make a formal complaint to in writing. Why isn't this transparent on the website.

Delivery and customer service are horrible. Ordered a sofa about a month ago, received an email a week later that it was shipped and the estimated delivery date was 10 days from that email. The estimated delivery date came and went without any update. Here it is more than a week past the estimated delivery date and no word. Attempted to call the customer service line, and the automated voice tells me they are experiencing a high volume of calls and then simply hangs up. No option to remain on the line or leave a call back number. I will never order anything else from IKEA.

Cannot buy online from a close (in location) store if their stock is "low". You have to drive to the store. (It's a 1-1/2 hour drive for me) Said they had item in stock but won't let me purchase online because "stock is low" (only had 7). Their phone service is terrible as well! This would have been my first purchase but I will be shopping elsewhere. NOT worth the aggravation!

Very bad cuatomer service and non delivery Never using Ikea again, booked a delivery of 2 lengths of worktop. Specifically chose items that showed as being in stock for delivery. Delivery came and 1 bit missing. Called Ikea explaining I had kitchen fitters booked for the following day. Spoke with 'Christopher S' and was assured he had located a worktop and it would be delivered the following morning in time for my kitchen fitters. Received email confirmation confirming delivery of missing worktop for following day. Following say comes and no delivery, phoned back and told by 'Ian' that this was a mistake, despite being told delivery next day verbally and in email it will actually be in 3 days. No offer of covering costs just a pathetic 30 euro gesture for messing up. No way to email as Ikea customer service email is apparently not working and Ikea staff not able to transfer calls so no opportunity to speak with a manager. Order - 1145774644

Having ordered a couple of sofas from Ikea in November I was alarmed when I read all the terrible reviews about missed deliveries, especially since my old sofas had been take away a couple of days before the new ones were due to be delivered. But I needn't have worried so wanted to post a positive review for some balance. Ikea did exactly what they promised to do: on the day that I placed my order I was given a delivery date and told that I would be contacted the day before with a delivery time window and, sure enough, I received a text and an email with a four-hour time slot for the next day. On the day of the delivery I was given a one hour time slot and then delivery took place within this hour. The delivery drivers were helpful, polite and cheerful. Everything went like clockwork. I'm really happy with the service and wouldn't hesitate to use it again. Indeed, I ordered garden furniture to be delivered in the summer and this all went smoothly too. So, it can go well.

Pathetic is all I can day. They say they delivered all my items and only delivered 1. They not answering their phones apparantly because of high volume and their stupid email button doesn't even allow for you to send them emails. How convenient that after you order you can't get a hold of anyone!

I placed an order on the 12th of November, they were suppose to deliver on the 21st of November and NEVER showed up. I called and they said I had to reschedule another delivery, but now I’m just wanting my refund and they just laugh and hang up the phone. Please don’t order anything from IKEA they have poor customer service and WON’T refund my money..

Hi, I am trying to get some assistance and none of the channels is answering Extremely frustrated with IKEA service. I made a big order and paid extra to have express delivery. For my surprise, the products were delivered by taxi drivers that I had to help and one of the products were damaged, not their fault is just that they didn't have proper training and equipment to carry it properly. The second problem is that items of my order were not delivered and still with no estimation when it will be. No contact from IKEA about my missing products and I don't have any channel to complain to. I tried to call customer service several times, but after 15min on the phone, I give up. So, I am still waiting for my missing products and my delivery fee to be refunded as it was not delivered on the expected date. Guilherme

Collected Havsta cabinet today. Now assembled but very disappointed with paint finish. On the doors, at least 6 knots in the wood are visible through the white paint finish, a nasty mark is very obvious on one door which also has a vertical line running along its length. The top is also chipped. I know contact by telephone is affected by Covid constraints but I'm not even offered the chance to wait in a queue; not being able to complain immediately is very frustrating. This is my first, and very likely my last, IKEA order.

Order still has not arrived even after in 2 emails confirming it had arrived in the warehouse. All the reviews I see of the products are good, all the reviews I see about delivery are terrible. DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY it will not come as scheduled and you do get some one on the phone about it you get a run around. I have been scheduled for delivery 2 times and I work from home I am here but they do not call, just miss the time and no contact. I reach out and after multiple call being told by a recording they cannot take my call at this time I get hung up on. When I do get a person they tell me they will get it scheduled. Still waiting, I will try one more time now over 2 weeks late from their schedule, if it does not come I will cancel and that will take 5 days to get a refund.

I ordered online three times. Each time they took my money and short after they emailed me my order was cancelled. I won’t try again. Waiting for the third refund now. Trying to call them doesn’t make any sense. I spent hours on the phone - literally to find out they can’t locate my order. Ridiculous !

I ordered and paid online for express delivery, Ikea sent me a text message saying I'll be contacted after three days on the day of delivery, before it's delivered. No contact or delivery on the "paid for" day. Took three days to get through the queue and was told "yes there was a problem with the order, can we/Ikea re-arrange the delivery?" Again no contact or delivery on the second arranged day. When I logged into my account it showed the order had been cancelled by Ikea. Six days later I could make contact and after being put on hold - after initially holding for 43 minutes I'm told to expect the refund in 5 to 7 days. I asked how much will be refunded to which they replied £214 - wrong answer I replied. Ikea then said £260 - again I said wrong answer as I had spent £264. Ikea's had my money for 16 days, they cancelled the order while the stock-checker showed they had the items, the first and on the second time when they wanted to re-arrange the delivery. I asked to speak to a supervisor to which they replied - not possible. I asked for the contact details of a manager, a contact telephone number or email address - again they replied it's not possible. I asked if I would receive an email confirmation of our conversation and the promised refund to which they replied - you'll receive a confirmation email in an hour. Still waiting for the email confirmation.

Went to Ikea in Vaughan today (November 25, 2020) to finally order my new kitchen. I was directed to a computer and told to log in that an attendant would be with me soon. I log in and shortly after a young gentleman came to assist me. He showed me how to make some changes I wanted and then said he had to go to another desk since he was service two customers at a time. I finished my changes and waited in the 20 minutes for him to come back. When he finally did come back the manager at the front desk told him to attend to a new male client that had literally just arrived. He told his manager he was serving me and his manager said "never mind, the female attendant near me, who was with another customer, could serve me when she was done", I stated that I was being serviced first and that I was waiting already for 20 minutes for the attendant to come back. The manager shouted out at me that I would have to wait for the female attendant to serve me since he was taking the young mail attendant to serve another male customer. There was no line up of people waiting, the new customer had just arrived, but I had to wait to finish my design so the male customer could be taken care of before me? Not only was the manger rude, abrasive and condescending but he was prejudice against women. Had I been there with my husband, I believe I would not have been treated that way. I WILL NOT BUY MY NEW KITCHEN CUPBOARDS FROM IKEA DUE TO THIS. The managers name is ADNAM.

If you want a divorce, buy and install an IKEA wardrobe because the instructions are appalling, it’s like the Krypton Factor, follow diagrams no written information? MDF Plywood is easily breakable and as for the 1000 pieces are they really necessary? IKEA have the cheek to say it will cost you £150.00 to assemble - It took 10hrs to but a wardrobe together never again will I buy any of there flatpack furniture again!

I ordered a PAX wardrobe and a sofa, with 3.5 weeks notice, for the day after I moved into a new property. The ordered did not arrive. After being on hold for over 2 hours, they have given me another date, 1.5 weeks away - meaning I will be sitting on the floor and have no wardrobe in which to unpack!!! All Ikea staff can do is apologise, they wont help by sorting out a quicker delivery. I tried to ask to send a van to collect, as the items come from 'distribution', they wont allow it.
