Very disappointed in my visit to the St Louis Ikea store. There was only one person working Smaland so the my family card said I could have 90 mins at smaland the attendent said we could only have 60 min and that is really only 55 mins when they beep you. We were told there is never more than one person working there and that person seems to spend most of her time checking kids in and out, not watching kids.

I lost my air pod case with one ear piece in the case, called to the store and they confirmed they found it in the bathroom with an exact description of the left ear bud inside and a white case, I notified them I will come next day to pick it up but next day they are telling me it’s not here and 6 min. After I called somebody else came an claimed it! When I expressed my confusion to the rep all she had to say was “ I guess you are out of luck “

Great products. Abysmal delivery. Have spent tens of thousands here over the years outfitting houses, offices, condos, cottages. At least the third time that repeatedly scheduled deliveries failed to show up. This time I was supposed to get a fridge and stove delivered to Toronto. Drove an hour and a half in traffic to get there. No one came. Called well after the delivery window to be told "Oh it never made it on the truck today." But no one knew this at 9 am to call me??? Scheduled again for today. Same thing. No show. Called and was told "The truck that had it was in the shop today" The worst thing is you get passed from one person to another and no one can fix this convoluted broken system because no one seems to care. Have now asked for a refund and after years of loving their products I will never EVER spend a dime there again. The customer service is a disgusting quagmire of incompetence. Get a new delivery company Ikea. This one is just killing your brand.

Do NOT ever arrange for delivery from IKEA. This is the second time I have had a delivery fail from ikea and the company they hire for delivery. Today the window was 1-5pm and I had to call them at 5:10pm to see whether they were ever coming. The “customer service” said they would call me back and did not. I called again at 7pm and was put on hold for 25 minutes. Then when I finally got hold of a person, she was rude, dismissive and suggested I wait again while they “look into this”. I asked her to call me back instead of being on hold as I needed to put my toddler to bed. After 5 minutes of listening to her ramble, I finally repeated my request and hung up. She phoned me back about 15 minutes later - now 7:45pm or so, and said the driver was hard to reach and would be here in maybe 1.5 hours????!!!! No. Then I said, have them bring it tomorrow as their first delivery in the 1pm slot. She said no, they can’t. So now it should come on Friday and there is no time guarantee. After I asked for minimum a refund on delivery, she said okay. We’ll see if that happens. When I raised the fact that I took time off work to be hone for the delivery she said, “well get it delivered on a day you don’t work.” I am done. This is too much. When did our world become so disregarding and corporate powered. There is no recourse for me, as they have my money and I have no items. Shame

Don't get your items delivered. I got two deliveries. Spent an extra $40 to do so. One never showed and the other delivery was late and the guy didn't even know what items were mine, which isn't surprising that we were missing a few items. The parcel that never showed, we didn't get notified about when it was delivered or if it had been delivered. So when I rang I was surprised when they said it had been delivered but to one of the flats in building (which wasn't my flat). My neighbour never notified me about the parcel and I haven't been able to get in touch with them about it. So now my parcel is lost. When I complained about this to Ikea, they didn't care - to them, they had delivered and now wasn't their problem.

Took two weeks for delivery to store. Called to ensure product was at store.Although item was in store, IKEA would not allow pick up as it was the 8 th day and ready to ship back to flagship store. I payed for a product that was in the store and they would not give it to me. After 6weeks, my credit card has still not been refunded. Then after 3 calls resulting in 60minutes of my time, it was determined that although this was a little longer then usual it was not uncommon therefore there was nothing they could do. They refused to waive the delivery charge and would not compensate me at all for the inconvenience and delay resulting in credit card interest. Terrible customer service

I like IKEA, in general, but what's up with the returns department???? The wait is SO LONG!!! Management needs to do something about it. It makes me not want to buy anything, on the chance that I might have to return it!

I have copied an email I have sent after numerous attempts at finding a resolution to my problems with this company with no response. I hope anyone reading this will find it and second guess doing business with them. Who knows, maybe someone will reply to this. To Whom This May Concern, I am writing this email to inform you of the terrible experience I have had in regards to dealing with your company. I would like to file a formal complaint in order to get a resolution from you. I will start from the beginning in order to bring you up to speed on where we are today. Keep in mind that this is my first time ever using your company. My wife ordered furniture from you online on May 13, 2019 in the amount of $724.83. We expected to receive that order on June 3, 2019 as relayed by a confirmation email we received. I made plans to take off from work in order to be available to sign for my purchase. That day came and went with no delivery and not even a phone call to inform us of any changes. I made a phone call to your customer service line who then informed me that the delivery was delayed and would arrive on June 7, 2019. The delivery fee of $99 was refunded to me which I appreciated. I then had to make sure I was available again (costing me money by being off work) in order to receive my purchase on the 7th. As you probably expect, that day came and went again with no delivery or phone call to let me know I would not receive my order. After being bounced around quite a bit and multiple people blaming each other I was told that the order must have been "lost" and we would have to wait until around July to receive the furniture. As you can imagine we were quite aggravated as I am sure your would be too if you were in my position. However, we were willing to give you the benefit of the doubt and give you another shot. My wife received a phone call from one of your representatives who confirmed our new delivery date for June 28, 2019. I have two emails, one of which is forwarded with this email, that shows confirmation of the delivery date as well as the items with the delivery company and "Ready to deliver". Fast forward to yesterday, June 26, 2019, my wife being the proactive woman she is called your company to confirm everything was okay and on schedule for delivery as promised (for the 3rd time). She was then informed by an operator who called himself Daniel (unsure if that was his real name since he sounded foreign) that the scheduled delivery date would be July 1, 2019. After asking a few questions as to why the change the representative began to get hostile toward my wife and then told her to call the delivery company herself to figure out the problem. I attempted to get on the phone at that time and as soon as I introduced myself I was "mysteriously" disconnected. I called back myself and spoke to another representative who transferred me to the scheduling department. While I was on hold waiting for the rep. to get an answer from the delivery company I was hung up on again. I called back for the third time and reached someone that seemed reasonable to talk to. After not being able to confirm delivery for me on the 28th, I asked to speak to a supervisor which ended up being Ms. Jennifer Green. She seemed very professional and agreed with me on why I would be so aggravated. She attempted to get the furniture delivery date changed to the 28th but said she could not confirm it since the delivery company said the furniture was not delivered to them yet (which contradicts the email I have received). Ms. Green told me she would "stay on top of this" and contact me each day to give me updates in hopes of getting my furniture delivered on the 28th. I did not receive any calls or information from her today so far and I doubt I will since it is now nearly 10 PM where I live. This is extremely disappointing and pretty much guarantees that I will not be doing business with you anymore and will also recommend anyone else I know to do the same. Every time I have to change my schedule to accommodate your company's inability to operate efficiently it costs me hundreds of dollars. Since I am guessing I will be rescheduling my work day again on Monday July 1st (for the 4th time) I will lose another approximately $500 from not being able to work. Your company has cost me more money in time off than my whole original order. I am asking for a guaranteed delivery date for my furniture on June 28th or a significant price reduction on my items I have ordered. I was offered company "gift cards" of up to $100 in order to purchase more items from your company by Ms. Green. That is at the very least laughable because I am not sure that I will even receive what I ordered in the first place. I look forward to hearing from someone that can help me with this ridiculous situation as I am sure you do not expect your company to operate in this manner. Respectfully, Brian Diamond

Asked for a delivery between the hours of 7am-1pm. Delivery did not come until past 4pm having to miss a whole days of work as a self employed individual. Customer service were extremely unhelpful in giving any details. Absolutely shambolic. DO NOT use delivery service as it as absolutely rubbish

Stay away ti Ikea delivery, they hire bad third companies. I had a bad experience with XPO: they didn’t show but they report I wasn’t home. We had to reschedule but they didn’t bring the main part of the order, they blamed Ikea and told me to return everything or wait another 3 days for the missing part, without letting me know that was an automatic cancelation. Ikea customer service didn’t offer alternatives after being on the phone for more than an hour.

Today, It’s been 10 days that I’d returned a couple itens to IKEA. Belen, a adorable person who helped me with my case told me it would take up to 10 days do get a mailckeck. When turned 5 days, I decided to call because I know for a fact the lack of customer service IKEA has it and the person who talked to me provided the same information: you’ve to wait 10 days for your mailcheck. Today, when the 10th day complete, I called to IKEA, talked to MONICA at the administration office and she told me it would take UP TO 4 WEEKS to receive the check. ( FOURS WEEKS ) a completely diferent information those two other employees gave to me. I asked to speak to a manager but now not regarding my check but the training those people are getting to work there and talk to people giving whatever information comes up in their mind. I was not surprised anymore by this lack of training, when MONICA - from the administration office, told me she COULDN’T transfer her manager but what she COULD DO is let her know my opinion. Let her know that I was not satisfied with the information that was gave to me. Really?! Is this real?! According to MONICA, her supervisor manager is ELZIRA. So if ELZIRA exists, and if she is Monica’s manager, that’s what I wanted to talk. Is it really worth it sending people to social media to voice out internal issues from the company you are working?!? IKEA, looking at all the complaints is that what you’re proud of. The way your employees represent you to the world?!?

Just spent £110 yesterday (Leeds store) on an Utrusta shelf unit only to find it’s been used before Pre marked holes had clearly had screws in before the rail supports were in place and there was damage and marking on the shelf. Seriously £110 for a second hand shelf bought in good faith as new 😡 It’s shaming totally shaming

Ikea has a reasonable priced furniture that are beautiful, functional and the quality is good for price. Their delivery service is great. They delivered on time and the delivery guys were very nice. The only issues I have with Ikea is that many times what I needed was out of stock and that shows the high demand for their products.

This is the worst experience I've had with Ikea Delivery service. I purchased four items for delivery and only received two. But the delivery guy and Ikea customer service only contact once for rescheduling another delivery for my missing pieces, but after that, no update, and I never received them at all! Such a terrible delivery and customer service!
