Wadrobe fitters not great but customer service in ireland is a joke waiting nearly 7 months for fitters to fix problems problem is once you pay up front your goosed staff promise to sort it but no joy

I bought a six drawer dresser called Hemnes. After assembling it with much difficulty found that there was a 1/4 inch, 1/2 centimeter space above five of the drawers. I had never seen anything like this before and I had bought the same Hemnes in Sweden and the drawers fit as they would in a normal dresser. I took photos and sent the photos to IKEA. Their response was bring the dresser back. The distance is over 100 miles away and of courser how can I transport the dresser. They did not respond to my question with the photos if what they could see was normal. I heard no more from them when I explained the situation. It took many hours to assemble this dresser and to after that to have it look the way it does is simply awful. I just cannot bring myself to ever buy anything from IKEA again. Be warned what you may see in the store or catalog is not necessarily what you will get after you assemble the dresser HEMNES. Perhaps that is why they lowered the price. It is with regret to say that I do not recomend Ikea's countertops. The 3rd party's contractors are not willing to do their best for Ikea's customers. Therefore, I had to cancel my order.

Because the item I wanted was not available in the store I ordered it online through IKEA.com. Unfortunately, there are shipping charges with every order, even though I spent over $500. The delivery required a signature to leave the package. I was suppose to get an email with a four hour window of delivery. This did not happen. I live in a gated community so when the driver called and I tried to call back immediately it went to voice mail. I called customer service, which could not help because they use multiple 3rd party delivery services and could not reach the driver in time. I reschedule. Again no four hour window. I had to call on the day of delivery to track my package manually to ensure I was there. There two different types of screws missing. Filled out the DETAILED report to get them replace and was told it would take 2 more weeks just to get the missing parts! I called customer service only to be disconnected from the call after I was put in the queue due to an usually high volume of calls. This is the first and the last time I'll order anything from IKEA.com directly.

I arranged for a delivery time with IKEA and took a days leave to be at home when they deliver. They had to deliver before 16h00 in the afternoon because my building doesn't allow deliveries after 16h00 (which is more than fair). After calling them twice on the day to confirm a delivery time I was told the driver would call me. He didn't bother. I called just before 16h00 and was told the delivery would occur after 17h00. I spoke with the IKEA customer service and explained the situation - we agreed to reschedule for Monday between 08h00 and 15h00. They also would waive the delivery fee. On Sunday I received a call from the delivery company saying the delivery would be between 16h00 and 20h00. Ludicrous! I called IKEA again and they got in touch with the delivery company who complained that it was my apartment budding that has unreasonable hours! Pathetic. IKEA - your telephone service representatives are amazing - maybe pick a delivery company that isn't useless and arrogant.

Placed and online order for kitchen cabinets and took the day off work to take the delivery. The delivery arrived with the main component missing (wall cabinets) so I called customer services. Having taken the day off work and paid £40 for delivery I would expect the delivery charge to be refunded. I was told they only offer £20 store credit and my remaining items would be scheduled for delivery on Sunday morning. Now I have to wait in on the weekend for Ikea to complete their order and commitment to me. Their refund policy is totally unfair to their customers. I would expect far better customer service from a company like Ikea , first and last time I shop with them!

My daughter's bed was of such poor quality. It's so poorly made that a slight pressure of fingers can make the finish and paint come off. My daughter does not even weigh 15 kilos and only uses the bed strictly to sleep but it has chipped from one side. We have been told it's not a manufacturing default but what about the quality? I am not happy with my purchase and I have spent over 200£ for the bed and mattress. What am I supposed to do now? All they can say is IKEA will take no further action. But what about an extremely dissatisfied and unhappy customer. It's such a shame. I am a mum of 2 small kids and this is extremely stressful for me.

Avoid it. Worst Costumer service I ever saw! Using the cheaper delivery company, Parcelforce.

Bought an IKEA kitchen, so far very happy with the quality and installation but 2 pieces were paid for and not received since 11/18. I feel this product should be shipped to me first not other stores since I paid for it . No customer service at this place at the corporate level

Applaro outdoor furniture is very poorly made. When it arrives, it has a very unpleasant odor that lasts pretty well the whole first season. After that, even if you use the Ikea cover, the finish starts to peel off, and believe me, you can't fix it. You can try the Ikea stain they will sell you, but it will not adhere. Also, the furniture is flimsy. A slat broke in the table, can't fix it due to the way it's made, and a friend sat on a chair and it broke. I don't know what sort of testing they do, but this should not have passed.

Let me clarify this is a ZERO star review, not a ONE star review! Absolutely useless. I applied for an Ikea credit card on the evening, and may I say, late evening of Thursday 3 - 7 - 19. I was excited and I already had in mind what I wanted to buy and had been looking it up on their website. The next day, I was then told some 18 hours later that I was supposed to of used my card that I very evening to have gotten my $25 off my first purchase, 'even though I had no physical card in my hand.' So within those few hours before midnight on that Thursday evening I should have used this card to have gotten $25 off my first purchase. One of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard of in my whole life, and so poorly explained on the credit card application. When I called the following day some 18 hours later I was told by 2 Ikea employees, (Ben being the second,) that I could never get this $25 again to use. I canceled the credit card instantly via Ben. I've already posted a blog about my experience on Facebook about this and I will be filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau, anywhere that has reviews on Ikea and also consumer affairs. People need to understand how ridiculous Ikea is and the bank that supports them.

This has been the worst experience I have ever had with any company. They lost my crib and storage compartments on the first arrival so I only received my wardrobe & changing table. When the two items I did receive were put together the changing table split when screwing in a part, the wardrobe had a bubble in the paint & a wooden piece in the back broke, but supposedly their furniture “doesn’t usually break that easily”. The next time, a dresser was delivered and broke when screwing in another peice. I have the dresser scheduled for the carriers to pick it up. They come, drop off the replacement dresser, but don’t have an order to pick up the cheap/defected dresser. They apologize saying they messed up and will have it picked up when they deliver my crib 2 days later; remind you by this time I have already taken two days off work, with them stating the second time I took off they could accommodate me after 5pm, which didn’t happen. Saturday rolls around, after cancelling plans so we can get our crib, a delivery truck pulls up, sits out front for 30mins & drives away with no explanation. I have to call again & they said they didn’t put the crib in the truck & will have to see if they even have it in the warehouse. You call customer service, their call volume is high & you are then disconnected (every time you call). I had to learn you press irrelevant numbers & you will be lucky enough to be transferred to someone. So all in all, I have lost $$$ waiting around for them to deliver items which never show up, quality is poor on the items received & all they can do is say “I’m sorry we can not provide you with a refund & we will schedule to have it delivered at a later time”. I extremely disappointed with the service I got through ikea & I will never shop with them again.

I went to the Sunrise store yesterday to buy 6 patio chair cushions. When I got there I did not see any of the ones I wanted. I then asked an associate there who was in the area behind a computer about what I was looking for. She answered "If you don't see it we don't have it anymore". I told her that online it stated that there 13 available, she replied in a harsh tone , that the company's supply can be wrong too. I walked away until another associate further away asked how he can help me. I told him about the cushion, he said if you see one on display get the #s and he would search the computer. Well he searched and got the info on the computer that stated the aisle and bin # to go to. I got the 6 and love them so much went back for 4 more. His name in SEAN MULLINS in sunrise store. He went above and beyond. thanks SEAN for your help. The other associate needs more training in customer service

Just wanted to say thank you to the three delivery men that delivered our bed yesterday morning. Excellent service, I could track the driver all morning, the driver called when 1 hour away and upon arrival, they were so helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Very refreshing

If there was an option for no stars, I would have picked it. Had an automated call that delivery would arrive Saturday between 9am and 9pm. I called to ask for a tighter window and was told I would get a second automated call later that night with a four hour window. The second automated call gave me a window of 11am to 9pm. I called again to ask for a tighter window. I was told the computer made a glitch and my items would arrive between 11am and 3 pm. The delivery truck called 30 minutes before and arrived at 1:15. However, the truck only had one of the four items I ordered. I tried calling customer service to see what happenned. After many prompts a recoring said call volume was high and no help was availble. I will not order from IKEA again. Absolutely not worth the time and energy.

I have waited over 2 weeks to get a wardrobe built due to Ikea's mistake have phoned few times to be told it will be sorted waited in once again and nothing only been told pack lies I am so angry about it they take Ur money for purchase but don't ever intend to fix there mistakes
