Sad to say I used this service first and last time and I don't recommend it to my friends. I feel cheated and I am disappointed. I booked collection on 22th May 2014 (Thursday) for 23rd May 2014 (Friday) and delivery for NEXT DAY 24th May 2014 (Sat). I was waiting for delivery on Saturday but I was really surprised when I checked online that estimated delivery was for 27th May 2014 (after Bank Holiday). I had delivered 7 heavy boxes. Delivery man didn't help me us at all. I was in work and my wife had to lift all of them herself (you should have trolley in van as many delivery company have it) I think if you provide public delivery service you should inform customers about delivery day before payment, not after. Next day is next day, not next WORKING day...Until today 28th May 2014 (Wedn) I didn't even receive respond for my two emails...Good luck in future!

It was fantastic until March of 2014 but after Easter of 2014 until now. The Service has been very very bad if I do not want to say it was rubbish, honestly . My parcels were delivering late in several time (takes 2- 3 days while it should take only 1 day) that leading to the flight missing in several times. And they cost a lot of my money as well. Furthermore , when I complain to the customer service, they seems to try to ignore my complain and do not reply anything. All of those very bad quality may let me find the other delivery services now. HOwever , I still have some hopes that Ipost parcel service will come back to the good quality service like before the Easter of this year . I don't like complaint and do not want to complaint anymore because that's waste my time. I really hope you guys will take my feedback into your account in order to improve your service better and better. THank you ! Best Regards : Tuan Anh Nguyen

The driver who delivered my parcel did not wait for me to answer the door, he just knocked then preceded to walk around the side of my house and dump my parcel on the patio. As he passed me, obviously in a hurry, he said, 'I didn't think you were in so I put it around the back'. I know this was not true, as I actually saw him knock on my door and walk away without waiting. An apology would have been nice. However, the most worrying thing is that my parcel was of some value and needed to be signed for. When I tracked this on the company website, it said that the parcel had been signed for and gave that day's date. WHO SIGNED FOR THIS PARCEL? Certainly not me or anyone I know! I have informed the e bay seller who sent it, as I could easily have said it had not arrived or made a fuss about it being damaged by rain. as it was left out in the elements. I know this could have been a one off and down to an individual driver but signed for items should be signed for by the recipient.

Scheduled for Wednesday for which an extra £2 was paid to enable a morning pick-up 8-1 then having waited in all day it was eventually picked-up on Friday, enabling a Monday delivery. Both customers unhappy with service and I have not received feedback to date regarding my enquiry.

Ebayers? Small businesses? Looking for a reliable courier company? You are reading this review because you are curious as to whether ipostparcels aka UKMail is a reliable company. If you haven’t got time to read all of this then my advice is to pay a little bit more and get a service which you can count on. From my experience I would recommend that you DO NOT continue any transactions with ipostparcels. My story… So far, in the past 2 months, I have sent 8 packages, 7 of which were in the UK and one to Spain. Totalling £150.99. Six of the UK deliveries made it, JUST. One is still AWOL, and I have yet to address this order. However on the 14th April a small package was collected from me by ipostparcels to take to Spain. Granted the Easter Break slowed things down, and I allowed for this, but I thought, at the very latest the package would arrive around the 22nd April. I later checked the transaction history to ensure that the deliveries were going as had been booked, and to my dismay saw a ‘note’ on an affiliated website stating ‘please call’ … here the confusion begins as they have NO TELEPHONE contact number to call. I could only fill in a very limited online form. Limited because you can only write 700 characters and you can only include certain characters… it’s very time consuming and pointless. So I waited some time and finally received a disjointed unclear email asking if the delivery address was correct? It was correct and I told them this. Then they sent an email to me saying ‘we have passed on the phone number of the contact at the intended delivery address to our international team in Spain’ … and then 4 hours later they sent another email saying ‘please send phone number of contact at the intended delivery address’ … then they sent an email saying they would attempt delivery on the 5th May. The intended recipient then told them that he was going away for a few days and to deliver the package on the 12th May. On the 12th May he waited in and when he left the villa, he made sure that a human was present to accept the package. No delivery was attempted or made and no phone call was made to either the consignee or myself. In fact, nobody has picked up the phone to speak to me ?? customer service ?? in what vein?? Name only?? More like customer DISservice Over the past 5 weeks I was asked 3 times by ipostparcels ‘what do you want us to do with the package’ I replied ‘please deliver the package Mr.Courier, this is why I placed an order and got you to collect it and deliver it’ Please do what I have paid for. WHY they had to ask me 3 times what I wanted them to do with is beyond belief? SO now I have become a little bit more impatient as they have just recently said ‘we will return the package to YOU! This will cost you £50, please pay upfront’ … REALLY? Honestly I am dumbfounded at this behaviour. So ipostparcels aka UKMail wants me to pay upfront AGAIN for them to deliver my parcel back to me?? It sounds to me like they are calling my bluff and expecting me to refuse, so then they can stop worrying about the package which I truly believe that they have lost. I don’t want the package, that’s why I sent it to Spain. What I want is a refund and compensation to cover wasted time and costs dealing with several contacts ipostparcels who don’t appear to have the skills to deal with human beings. I am not a computer, I am a person. I am a sole trader with 4 young children and I do not live on handouts. I work hard for my money, and it makes me lose a little bit of faith in humanity when companies like this are all ‘Yaaay, we’re great and we love you’ WHEN things are going well, but the real proof is when the chips are down and there’s an issue. THAT’s when you see the real truth behind people and companies. Ipostparcel and UKMail’s customer service sucks. I have contacted them via several mediums and now they have an issue, they have clammed up. So BUYER BEWARE, unless you don’t mind being taken for a ride and being robbed, take a gamble, I’m sure some of the stuff will get through… otherwise use RoyalMail or Collect+ Listen to someone who has experienced their service, it’s not good and it’s definitely not reliable. Go with the post office because you have a front man you can speak to and see. I have asked ipostparcels to start a claim – NOTHING – they are not communicating at all. They know their hands are tied and they are not bouncing my messages back. They have ignored FB messages and tweets. I will ensure that ultimately, they apologize and try to improve their customer service. At the end of the day, the package isn’t sentimental to me, but imagine if YOUR package meant something to you – THEY DON’T CARE … please mark my words .. this company and its affiliates are in no way, a sure thing. Good Luck

On more than one occasion (3 out of the 4 times we've used them recently) ipost parcels turned up either too early or too late despite our specifying (and paying for) the parcels to be collected in either the morning or afternoon. On the first occasion the driver came too early and I asked if he could come back in the afternoon as we had specified because I hadn't finished packaging up the box. He was happy to do this, and was friendly in his service. However, the driver confirmed they don't receive any confirmation of specified morning or afternoon for picking up parcels on the information they receive from the company, which, considering we pay to specify either a morning or afternoon pick-up, is extremely concerning. On two occasions the parcels were specified to be picked up in the morning and the driver didn't arrive until the afternoon, missing the person they were meant to be picking the box up from. This was extremely inconvenient as we had to arrange for them to post the parcel from a post office, incurring a higher and additional cost from us (a small charity).

I am assuming you're referring to a Next Day delivery I received yesterday. Con No. 40328680915026. Myself and the lady that sent my parcel are very disappointed in your service. My parcel was delivered to someone else, had been opened by them and the contents gone through and the box had been dropped as there was damage to a corner. The contents are delicate and very meltable especially in this weather. Hence my sender sending Next Day Delivery. I was very lucky that the person who signed for my parcel brought it too me. This was at 2pm precisely. So I have no Idea how long they had my parcel. I have contacted my sender yesterday and I understand she has contacted yourselves via email. Quite honestly, I don't think this is acceptable as this lady hand makes her products with a lot of time and care and could well have been very easily completely ruined. Thanks.

Parcels received BUT client had requested and paid for a signature on delivery - parcels were dumped over our gate with no signature obtained.

This item although packed in its original box and packaging arrived in pieces, completely smashed and broken, a total disgrace, you must handle these items extremely badly as this item was very robust yet you still managed to smash it to pieces

Just arrived back home to find delivery man had parked illegally across my driveway which meant I could not pull on my drive, causing chaos in the street. He was stood at the front door, despite then telling me (when he saw me) that the parcel was left on top of my bin. No note had been put through and he did not seem to intend leaving one. All in all a poor performance and the box was squashed too. Unimpressed

Our parcel was due to be collected for next day delivery on Tues however we recieved no contact until Thursday. This was a snotty email to say that they had tried to collect the parcel on two occasions Mr Smith and Mr Jones had apparently turned them away saying there was no parcel. Funny considering it was being collected from my office which is permanently manned between 8-6 and we only have 6 members of staff none of which are Smith or Jones. A collection driver called to collect on Thursday but had been given the wrong address. He called me to check and promised collection on Friday by 5.30. It is now 5.23 and still no collection! pretty shocking service considering we paid for next day!!!!!

I Can honestly say this is the worst courier I have ever used! I arranged to have two xl items collected which I paid for and arranged as instructed, when the day of collecting arrived ( which I had to book off work) no sign or contact from them what so ever! Miffed is an understatement! Emailed many a times to get a refund and have heard nothing, I had to use a local more expensive courier in the end but got a service I was pleased with. So thanks Ipost parcle for wasting my time and money!

We placed our collection request 7 days ago on Thursday 9th May - for collection today Thursday 15th May and nobody has turned up. No phone call, no email, no explanation. Are we just expected to wait in all day tomorrow too? First time users of Ipostparcels and the last. Never ever again. Potential customers beware!!!

I have used the service before for a low value item which worked very well as I could leave it outside ready to be collected . This was the very reason I wanted to use ipostparcels again based on my initial experience. This time I paid for a pre-1am pick up, additional insurance and pre-printed labels. The pick up was booked several days in advance. On day of pick up... Pick up didn't happen by 1pm Sent email (no phone numbers provided) Scoured the internet and found that it's UKmail who appear to do the pick up, called UKmail and spoke to a nice lady who was surprised that a pre-1pm pick up was possible as the drivers normally only pick up mid-afternoon. She called the appropriate office, got hold of the driver and told me that the pick up would be taking place shortly after. The parcel was picked up at 1:30 but if I hadn't chased this when would have it been? I received no call to say that it would not be before 1pm as expected either. Nor did the receiver get an SMS message before delivery. So.. - They offer services (at additional cost) which they don't deliver on. - No customer support follow up on the issue other than an email saying "I have checked this for you and can confirm this is showing as being collected today" - No apology - No compensation offered (not even the return of the extra cost paid for the pre-1pm pick up) - They don't have a phone number on their web page to contact them if things go wrong - They don't let you know if there is an issue - you have to find out yourself Should have used FedEx.

Twice now, this company has failed to collect from an address when promised which has resulted in delays and failing to deliver next day.. The first time the company lied about whether or not the driver had collected the package and said my client had delivered it late to the depot when in fact it had been picked up late by the driver. The second time, the driver did not collect at all on the day promised. Prices going up too much too.

The website said they tried to deliver at 3:20 am. After investigation they didn't bring the parcel out of the depot at all. So inaccurate and liars.
