Horrible experience ! I just received this today. It was wobbly so I opened and to my surprise found a piece of tape “holding” a completely broken piece together. Then to make matters worse the gentleman I spoke with Abraham and he literally said my bad. Now I have to ship it back, wait for them to receive the item back, wait 7-10 more days for a refund and another 7+ days to get a new item. All I get for that is “my bad”. The costumer service as horrible and they offered me no helpful solution to exchanging this item. The outside of the suitcase is fine, although it doesn’t roll, stand up, etc due to be broken. I can’t believe this product was even sent out.

My father but my mother ring at the Northwest Arkansas Mall for Christmas it was too big so we brought it home and put it in a volt so we could have it sized later then my dad died after he died me and my mom took the ring back in to be sized the lady at the desk said it would take a little longer because of covid to get it back so we waited and waited and I told my mom you need to call JCPenney's to find out about your ring so when she called they said there was a problem come in so we did they had lost the ring they had lost the ring and they are saying it is our problem we called corporate 17 times only to be lied to the manager at the mall name Amy does not tell the truth is rude and does not care about her customers and neither does JCPenney's because they lied also we have all our paperwork and they refused to take care of it this why JCPenney's is closing

JC Penny has the worst customer service. I recently ordered window treatments and they were made the wrong size. They would not take them back and now I have to deal with the manufacturer directly to maybe have them remake them in the right size. DO NOT order custom made window treatments from JC Penny, if they are made wrong you have to deal with it, they do not take any responsibility. It a nightmare doing business with JC Penny.

I tried to follow up on an online order that was canceled. The customer service person was so rude. She made me feel the card I used was stolen even when I tried to give her all the correct details on my card. This got me so mad and decided not to continue with the transaction. I then tried to reach someone on instagram to report it however my follow up questions were never answered. This was not a good experience for me

I just bought 6 pairs of shorts from JC Penny and I couldn't be more pleased. I love this company and I hope they remain in business for the next 100 years!

I sent a ring back and they sent me a confirmation of receiving it back but yet no refund still waiting!!! Their customer service is the worst. You call and get a different excuse each time as to why you still don’t have your refund. Will never Do business with JC Penny again. I can now understand why so many of their stores are closing. They deserve to be completely out of business with the way they treat their customers.

I've been trying for days to place an order but it keeps getting cancelled each time. The reps in the chat refuse to help and instead ask you to call. I have explained why the call can't work on my end, yet they refuse to help. And even when they answer the call, they place the order again and it still gets cancelled. The service is horrible. No explanation why the order is cancelled.

I ordered a higher end mattress. It was delivered late and was the wrong cheap mattress. I discovered this when the delivery company (Ryder) sent me notice they were delivering wrong mattress. I made many calls to customer service & Ryder, both very hard to get a hold. The ladies were very pleasant at CS, cancelled wrong order and re-ordered new mattress. Again I waited more than a month and again Ryder tried to deliver same wrong mattress! Neither CS or Ryder took responsibility. I was told Ryder delivers what they have in stock. Really? BTW Ryder folks are nasty! This time I cancelled order completely. I couldn't believe they charged me a disposal fee for my old mattress! I didn't have an old mattress and they never made the delivery! I protested & requested a refund. CS refused saying the computer wouldn't process refund. The gall!! I ordered same mattress from a local store, received it the next day for $100 less. DO NOT BUY mattresses from JCP. They're a disorganized mess!!!!

I went into the Montgomery Mall location to do some shopping. While I was trying clothes on I felt very uncomfortable with how the employees kept watching me. After waiting 15 minutes for help I decided to ask for a manager and was denied. I’m appalled by my entire experience. I usually have no problems and now I will no longer be shopping at this location. The manager or head of store needs to train the employees better and take responsibility for their actions.

I called today customer service and Mr.Ebert was so professional and friendly he helped with my problems and solve it on the spot without giving me any trouble, he was very efficient and helpful. Very respectful person. Thank you for all your help & quick assistance

I ordered two pairs of pants online and they were delivered to the complete wrong address, wrong town. I spoke with a very rude customer service rep who told me my order didn't exist for twenty minutes and then told me to just trespass on someone's property to get the package even though it has been a day since it was delivered. I was told it was my fault and not their problem. No refund, no store credit, not offer for anything. Super rude to me and refused to let me make a complaint or offer any solutions for the issue. Never ever buying anything from here again. I had emailed the day before and got no response and then was told over the phone that I should've been quicker about inquiring.

Ordered 5 items. 2 didn’t fit. Online it said women’s size. Received and they were junior sizes! Tried to return and was told those items are non returnable! REALLY!!!! Will never buy from JC Pennys again!

This is the worst company I have ever had the displeasure to deal with. AlI I wanted to do was update my phone number. They acted like I was asking for the nuclear launch codes. They actually wanted to snail mail me a piece of paper with a secret code to do this very simple task. My other option was to send them a 5 minute video explaining my request. I do not owe a dime to them, have NEVER paid one second late and they demanded I jump through too many stupid hoops for something so damn simple. I am a JCP consumer NO MORE.

ordered a mattress from JC Penney and got it 6 weeks later the company that delivered it walked on my light carpet with dirty shoes! when I put the mattress flat I noticed a rip in the fabric. I called to return it and was told it would be picked up in 2-3 days. called on day 3 and was told that it would take up to 2 weeks to pick up. The order had not even been sent in to the company to pick it up yet. I would give them a 0 for customer service!!! Will not order anything from JC Penney in the future!

I tried for two hours to get someone to pick up phone in any department to buy a $2000 Mattel reds. No one picked up phone. Do not shop at this terrible retailer.customer service does not pick up either

This 5-star is for the CS rep who placed order # 2021270810305519 for me. I had a B/D Rewards for $15off plus free shipping over $25. When I went to my cart my shipping charge was still showing. So I called CS and got a nice rep who was going to cancel the order and re-do on his end so the charge wouldn't show. BUT in the middle of him completing this transaction, I hear the survey....which means disconnect. I did give him 5-stars. I waited for him to return my call since they do have my #, but no call. So I called back and got a CS rep who I had to start from the beginning and she didn't act as though she knew what I was talking about. About 15 min of trying to explain to her what I was calling back for....She placed me on hold for 15 or so min (without coming back to me) then the survey again. She cancelled my order but I wasn't able to place my order again because my Reward had already been used. So I called back a third time and got a very experienced CS rep, who I had to explain from the beginning and he was able to replace my order within 5 min! But, I hung-up too fast and didn't wait for the survey. I give him 5-stars!! Please let him know. That's why I included my order # in this review.
