Booked direct flight to Cyprus last September with Thomas Cook who went into administration the first day of our holiday. We checked the information on Thomas Cook site and as flight only had to 're book a flight home. Credit card advised we had to claim back from Last minute .com as the flight had been booked through them and not direct with Thomas Cook. Contacted Last minute.com on 4th October and they keep saying they ate "looking into the matter" promised a reply by end of January, that then turned into the end of March and of course with Covid-19 they are blaming that for the fact that we have not had a reply when in fact they had 6 months to look into it before Covid-19. This is now 10 months and still no further-this is Disgraceful and I certainly wouldnt book through them again or recommend them to any friends. I believe pur only option may now be to take them to the small claims court which will cost us money.

The worst travel agency they have no clue what they are doing. please avoid booking with them. My ticket was changed by one of the airlines but I had to chase the airlines and travel agency for hours to get a suitable alternate flight.

Do not use this service. Paid extra to be able to change/cancel my booking because of Covid uncertainty. My flight got moved and I called 3 times to ask for a different flight. They assured me each time I would receive an “email” with other flight times. Nothing came.

I purchased a family holiday to Malta and had to cancel due to Covid19 as I was not risking taking my 2 little children outside of the uk. I purchased my package with lastminute.com. I tried several times through endless phone calls and emails to both lastminute.com and flynowpaylater to explain myself. Lastminute.com said, flynowpaylater had already made payment, to whom I don't know as we were due to travel in August 2020 and I cancelled our holiday in March 2020. This was an instalment payment plan, flynowpaylater didn't give/ offer us a refund of our money but rather bullied us with threatening letters and phone calls until we payed in full the holiday we didn't go. We are in the process of finding a lawyer to retrieve our money as we don't think we have been dealt fairly. Flynowpaylater or lastminute.com didn't offer a voucher,accept change of dates or try to help us but rather took everything for a holiday that didn't happen. I purchased insurance which said change of date, information ect as I knew things like this can happen but when we showed that as a prove, both of these companies refused to help. I don't write reviews but am taking my time to write this so it saves someone from going through this heartache. You will hear from us soon flynowpaylater. I would have given 0 stars but the thingy doesn't allow 0 star. Very unreasonable companies, they didn't even investigate but went ahead to take everything from a family of 4 in this critical Covid19 times when money is a problem for everyone. DON'T BUY YOUR HOLIDAY FROM LASTMINUTE.COM OR FLYNOWPAYLATER.

Trying to get a refund on a deposit because the flights were cancelled! Forget it. In June I was told I would be given a refund. I've waited over a month with no response, waited an hour on the phone for them to cut me off, and they have re-added the booking to my account. I'm due full payment of £1500 in August for a booking that has no flights?! I have raised a claim via Paypal which as seem to of shook Lastminute. The same day I raised a claim, they called me to ask me to cancel it! It was amazing to see they do still have phone lines! Contact your bank or paypal to see if you can re-claim that way. I have also reported them to the CMA, ABTA, Financial Ombudsman Service, and cc'd in the "CEO's" ( Fabio C******* & Marco C********) who you can find on LinkedIn as well as their emails online. I would suggest everyone put in a complaint. Good luck everyone. Going to need it getting your money back.

Still waiting for a refund from 28th March no communication from them, can’t ring, all emails automated reply, and they have a cheek to say to my bank that I have not responded to them!! Total lies. Pay me back what is due to me!!

Do not book with them they will take your money and you'll never get it back. I booked a room with them for a short stay (I was having an operation and needed accommodation close to the hospital). They took my money, then the company that owned the room called me up and said I can't stay as I am under 25 and also if I did want to stay it would be an extra £500 for a deposit. Lastminiute.com had not put these two crucial pieces of information on their listing for the room and had allowed me to book despite being under 25, so it was their fault and i wasnt to know. I called them regarding this and was told it would be months before i got a refund. Chased up multiple times and was again told i would get a refund. I needed the money back sooner than 3 months though as I was now £340 out of pocket and as a student i need that money for food, rent etc. Two months after the booking was originally made i get an email saying you won't get a refund (despite being told multiple times I would get one as it wasnt my error). Now they won't answer any of my calls or emails and I have been kept waiting over 20 minutes on the customer call line multiple times. They literally took my money and ran, and now they are ignoring me. Also the customer service reps over the phone (when i was able to speak to them at the start) are sullen, rude and generally unhelpful. 0/10 DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM.

Do not book with this company, due to Covid-19 i am unable to fly to Canada unless I self isolate for 14 days, I was going for 10 days only. I cannot get to my booking online it says i have to call a number, the number just keeps me on hold for hours. also I have submitted a form and the email back says they do not deal with existing bookings and yep you got it, call that number again! Sadly looking like i will not get a refund or a voucher which is so unfair. Will never use this company again!

Due to Covid 19 I cant go on a trip and I have already confirmed with a hotel that my booking can be cancelled with them free of charge. But Lastminute.com keeps refusing to refund me saying that the hotel has non cancellation policy which is obviously wrong. The whole situation is ridiculous just because Lastminute.com wants to keep my money and not to refund me

Do not book with these FRAUDS. I was promised a refund in 14 days, it has been over 4 months and I have not seen my money. They then send me an email saying my refund is ready but they can't transfer the money back to my card, which is funny considering I haven't had an issue with receiving and sending money elsewhere. They then instruct me to click on a button to fill out my details, except, I'm led to a BLANK PAGE. I've tried loading the page up on several different devices and with no luck, which shows it's not an internet/ device issue. They are frauds. They won't pick up the phone or answer any messages. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS CORRUPT COMPANY. CONTACT YOUR BANK AND LET THIS COMPANY GO BUST. USE BOOKING.COM INSTEAD!

Worse company ever!! Worse company ever!!! Will never use again and I would advise everyone else not too, quick to take good honest peoples money but not quick to pay it back after cancellation. Bet they are still taking bookings though?? Tried ringing for days and still can’t get through. Email is a waste of time because they don’t allow it. Lastminute.com Jokers.com more like it...!!!

BE CAREFUL Booked two flights ( was canceled ) but no one has informed me on their website everything is perfect but when I have contacted the airline company ( luck ) they have told me that the flight was canceled and I should have already been informed by the agency. Have tried to contact them since then but they didn't answer any of my calls or letters .

I had my holiday cancelled in early March. I have been emailing and calling these jokers for 3 months, and have only had about 3 emails back. Every time i call, they say it is their "company policy" to only offer voucher refunds, which is hilarious, as their website says they offer cash refunds (back to payment method) and that I will have to wait at least 3 months, even though their website says payments should be back 14 days after airlines refund them... So easy jet and Ryanair both refunded them for my flights in APRIL, and 2 months later, they're still denying this. Even though the airlines emailed me to tell me this!! I got my bank involved in March, and I have just received the credit back to my account. It has been a long and very stressful process, but i recommend every one who has troubles, get your bank to do a charge back... They can run but they can't hide!

Never use them as they can’t even confirm a date for a refund of my money for cancelled flights , in fact they never even told me flights had been cancelled. They won’t escalate my call to a manager and always put the phone down when they can’t give you an acceptable answer. Never use them they are terrible. The only thing they are good at doing is taking your money when you book.

Two months waiting for travel credit. People are being refunded for May. I'm waiting for March and not even cash I was looking for. They don't explain anything in the emails. Fraud. Should be closed down

The worst travel agent i have dealt with . Due to covid-19 , my flight was cancelled and they did not want to refund us. They mislead us on the refund request. It has been 2 months so far on trying to get our cash refund back and to luck. I did made a compliant on the Airline, a dispute at my bank and a complaint on Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). They are keeping hold on our money. DO NOT BOOK WITH LASTMINUTE.COM

If I could give ZERO stars I would!! Communicating with customers has been absolutely disgusting and lastminute should be ashamed of themselves. A supposed reliable company does not have the decency to send a periodic email to tell you what's going on. I can appreciate the current situation but 7 phone calls which I am told each time my case has been escalated and I will hear from someone within 72 hrs - NOTHING. I was finally given an email address that I got an automatic reply from. It has now been 2 months since I was meant to fly and longer than that from when the flight was cancelled. Lastminute - ATOL protected, clearly means nothing. I'm not even waiting for a cash refund - its a voucher code!!!!!! Outrageous service. Completely unacceptable. If I hadn't requested a voucher code I would NEVER use this company again.

LM are currently treating customers with disdain and they are illegally holding onto customers money and delaying or refusing refunds. Despite many phone calls, emails etc. they continue to give out excuse after excuse. This type of corporate behaviour is despicable and shows the disrespect they have for their customers. I will never book with them again.
