I have a booking to a hotel we regularly use ,we booked last summer for this June 24th for 14 nights. We received an email from Tui who are providing the flight on 15th December2023 stating change of flight time.Again l received another email from Tui on 29th February to confirm the flight times. I have not received any information from Love Holidays. I have used this company 3 times and unfortunately still have one more booking this year. But I shall never book with love holidays again.They have no idea of customer service.Definately not to be trusted.A very poor company.Last year I had a similar situation and I emailed and sent a Royal Mail recorded letter to the CEO guess what no reply to either. We booked a week-long trip to Santorini through Love Holidays, paying in full upfront. Our flight was scheduled for 7 am, and despite arriving in Santorini without issues, our troubles began at the hotel. The hotel had no record of our reservation, despite us having a reservation number from Love Holidays. According to the hotel staff, they never received any booking details or payment from Love Holidays. Upon contacting Love Holidays' customer service, they were responsive, but this didn't resolve our issue right away. I spoke to three different representatives, and it became clear that the problem lay with Love Holidays' supplier, who never booked the hotel. We spent the entire day worried and stressed, fearing we wouldn't have a place to stay for the night. After hours of back-and-forth, Love Holidays informed us they couldn't contact their supplier. It was already 8 pm by the time they took responsibility and promised to find us alternative accommodation. At 10 pm, they finally confirmed a new hotel booking, but by then, the day was ruined. We lost precious time and experienced unnecessary stress on what was supposed to be a celebration of our first wedding anniversary. In conclusion, I will never book with Love Holidays again. The stress and frustration they caused us were unacceptable, and they marred our special trip. If you value your peace of mind and your holiday, avoid Love Holidays at all costs.

Flights changed by 10 h doesn't match connection flights now calling every day no help bunch of scammers can't even give me proper reservation number for flights had to find out myself with airlines- you pay 5 k for holiday and they say call airline???? What a joke jet2 far batter and on the beach

Booked two weeks in Crete, but LH 'supplier' never booked the hotel (the hotel manager confirmed this to me in writing). I have spoken to four different people in customer service, but seven days later i have not been offered alternative accommodation or a refund. They constantly give me excuses and use buzzwords to buy more time, instead of resolving the issue. I will arrive at 11pm and at present i have nowhere to stay and just get empty promises on their FB chatline. Try 'reaching out and solving problems!' Date of experience: 18 June 2024

Me and my husband have just come back from the mesut hotel in Alanya, Turkey. Booked with love holidays. Paid for express transfer both ways, and thought we had booked a lateral sea view room. How you at love holidays can advertise this place as 4 star is beyond me! None of the pictures of rooms and balconies are correct. They look really nice in the pictures, but in reality, the room was dated, the balcony, absolutely tiny, with the view of a disgusting building site/mouldy swimming pool as our primary view from the tiny balcony!with the scabbiest, dirtiest air con unit I have ever seen. Got really ill from the dirty air con, and on the last day, we checked out at 12pm, just to have my armband cut off 30 seconds later, and then to be told...no more food and drink without paying...we still had 12 hours of our booking left going by what we paid for...the woman and man behind the desk both rude and ignorant. I felt really unwell, and had to sit in their lobby for the next 7 hours, seriously dehydrated. If it wasn't for penny and Andy, getting me a big bottle of water, I would have collapsed! Our transfer, Amer travel was meant to pick us up at 6.15pm for express transfer back to the airport, and didn't get us til gone 7pm....then he got lost 3 times and had to keep asking taxi drivers etc for directions to the other hotels....his heating was stuck on full and I burnt my leg on a boiling hot heater vent...the driver picked up too many people and my husband had to stand in the step to the doorway of the minibus for the whole agonising 3 hour journey, so that a mum and baby could have a seat....we got to the airport 25 minutes before our gate shut......absolutely traumatised by that last day...spoilt everything for us

The time I’ve spent trying to get someone to correct a wrong booking! My God! Would have been simpler to do this myself. Worst customer service ever. Someone promised to get my luggage booking corrected in 72hrs and a week later, it’s still not done. The irresponsibility is apalling!

DO NOT BOOK!! Could not get in touch with anyone, still yet to receive any type of call,email text etc. Have basically scammed me and I have yet to receive any contact back

I have used this company for two seperate holidays. The first was to New York. Flight home was cancelled and stranded for two days. Once home contacted loveholidays to be told the flight with Delta airlines is not their issue. Completely washed their hands of the issue and wouldn't even listen to what I was asking. I didn't want anything from them, just advice. Should have learnt my lesson but went back to them a year later. Booked a holiday to Gran Canaria. Flew out with Aer Lingus, returning with Ryanair. Whilst waiting to board our flight out I received a notification from ryanair that we needed to pay for our 10 kg bags (2) so we can bring them home. Not once during the booking process was there an indication that we could only bring back a bag that would only fit under the seat. Through the loveholidays app I was contacting customer service and was put on a queue. After 32 minutes I was removed from the queue as you need to keep updating the screen to show you are still there. I was walking to my gate and was removed that quick from the queue. I started queuing again, started at position 52, and was waiting for 97 minutes before I was cut off. Every 5 minutes I was updating the screen, got to position 7 and was cut off. This was not the way to start my holiday. The following morning I jumped on the queue at 9am and got a customer services rep. I explained my situation and he confirmed that I could take on a 10kg bag for no extra cost. I said I had an email from ryanair and sent screenshots and then he said that we can only fit a bag under a seat. He kept contradicting himself to the point that he no longer would come back to the chat. I signed off with 'do you want me to go away?' and never heard from him again. I paid an additional €60 to get our bags home. I will never use this website again and I will be letting anyone that listens know what a terrible company it is. I don't want any notifications, emails or correspondence from them, I have asked to be removed from everything. I will be booking all future trips directly with airlines and hotels, even if it means I pay more than deal with the stress.

Changed my flight time so that I landed the next day and miss an entire day of my holiday and they didn't want to refund me they just said sorry that you are finding this change hard to handle but we will not reimburse you

Fkn scam artists they’ve gone bust and we’re stuck in Turkey just arrived and now have no transfers no hotel and no flights home hopefully they’re fkn proud of they’re selfs

I wouldn't even award 1 star but you can't write a review without selecting at least one. Really sneaky, only found out at the end we had no luggage included in the holiday price for a family holiday - week away. Then stung by astronomical baggage costs by Airline. Wasn't clear. The customer service agents are awful, untrained and not helpful

Holiday center Santa Ponsa is the worse place I’ve ever stayed in. It’s a dump. Shame on love holidays selling and advertising this place as anything else than a hostel. The rooms are filthy, the beds smell of urine, the windows rattle, the doors and tables are sticking, the lift doesn’t work, the rain pours in the bedroom ceiling and floods the bed and room, the Scot’s are drunk and roaring all night. Don’t stay here you have never seen anything like this dirt. The cleaners put towels in the room twice and didn’t clean the apartment for the 10 days we were there. Not even a toilet roll. Love holidays what a joke.☹️

Needed to cancel holiday due to an accident and my Consultant told me not to travel. I was travelling with six other people. I have been trying since the 7th May for the holiday to be cancelled. When eventually on the 6th June I found out they had cancelled my hotel, they cancelled two other people in the party as well by mistake they said. They still have not cancelled the flights. When I wrote an e-mail to CEO with my complaint, I was fobbed off with, we can't speak with you because you didn't book the holiday!!!! Up to date I have not received either a date of the actual cancellation in writing and flights also not cancelled. Absolute awful company to deal with and the staff are completely useless, not adhering to time lines promised, or any sense of urgency, refuse to put you through to managers etc However if the CEO fobbs you off he is just setting the tone for his staff. Would never have anything to do with this company again.

Awful compant to deal with when you have a problem that needs urgently rectifying,no urgency, no response,long waits on the phoneline,msnagers who wont speak to you,akwsys to busy or in a meeting and never call you when they say they will. No one at the call centre can solve problems without it bern escalated to i think mars as it never comes back

Used love holidays twice and on both times there has been a problem.. The first time was for our honeymoon trip to Dubrovnik, less than 24 hours before we where due to travel I get a call from somebody at LH saying the hotel we booked is under constitution and they have changed us to a different hotel, panic set in but the alternative hotel was great in the end but this should not of happened how do they not know the original hotel we booked was unavailable until 24 hours before we leave?? Then only last summer I booked a family holiday to salou through LH all grand until home time...24 hours before we leave to go home the email regarding our transfer time is sent saying pick up time and outside our hotel etc..40 mins past while sitting outside our hotel with 3 young kids and still no bus..I ring an emergency LH number stating our situation..the person on the other end who I could barely understand said the bus was sat the hotel around the corner where we where supposed to go to and it's now long gone to Barcelona.. Well let's just say I lost it the confirmation email for pick up said the hotel we where staying in not a different hotel.. End of the story is I'm still fighting with them today too get the €250 I spent on a private taxi that was willing to take us to Barcelona. Let's just say il never use them again I should of learned from the first time I used them. My bad! Don't use them for your own mental well-being.

Shocking website! Beware. I booked a family holiday for me and my family. When we went to checkout, it stated if we wanted to add extra luggage for £75, which we didn’t as we thought luggage was included (as it stated EXTRA) when I received holiday confirmation via email, no luggage was added apart from hand luggage which was ridiculous for a 10 day international holiday. When I queried this with the agent they advised there is nothing they can do as it’s BA I need to contact. I when I contacted BA, they said there is nothing they could do and we would have to pay £70 each way. When I spoke to love holiday to cancel my booking due to this as it was done it less than 24hrs, they refused and hung the phone up on me!!!! I am disgusted by their service and will not be using them again!!! BEWARE AS THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS!’

Loveholidays: Ignoring Requests, Ruining Anniversaries, Price-Gouging, AND Ignoring Complaints?! Loveholidays? More like Lovenothappyholidays! This company is the absolute WORST when it comes to amendments, customer service, pricing, and apparently, basic customer service protocol. They single-handedly turned our special anniversary trip into a frustrating nightmare. A Request Graveyard, Anniversary Nightmare, Price Gouging Extravaganza, and Complaint Stonewall: Since May 20th, I've attempted to make a simple amendment for our anniversary getaway. However, my requests have been repeatedly ignored! Meanwhile, they want to charge an outrageous amount to add just one extra night – only £100 less than booking the entire trip for seven nights! This is pure price gouging for a single person's one-night addition! Rude Ringmasters and Extortionate Fees: The few times I did manage to connect with a representative, the experience was awful. They were rude, unhelpful, and quoted outrageous fees for the most basic changes. Apparently, even a shred of decency costs extra at Loveholidays. Communication Black Hole: Trying to get any kind of progress is like trying to herd cats. Emails vanish into the ether, and phone calls lead nowhere. The whole process is designed to frustrate you into giving up. The ABTA Betrayal: Adding insult to injury, we discovered Loveholidays isn't even ABTA approved! This lack of protection is a huge red flag, and had we known, we never would have booked with them. Never Again, Loveholidays! This whole ordeal has left us incredibly stressed and questioning our entire booking. Forget ever using Loveholidays again! There are plenty of other travel companies who actually listen to customers, offer ABTA protection, and don't engage in blatant price gouging. Loveholidays, you've successfully ignored our requests, ruined our anniversary trip, offered zero ABTA protection, AND tried to rip us off with extortionate fees. To top it all off, you claim you don't accept complaints or have a complaints procedure! This is a blatant disregard for customer rights. If negative stars were a thing, you'd get them all! Do yourself a favor and avoid this company at all costs!

Booked holiday in Vegas on arrival informed hotel had not been paid had to pay for hotel .when back home contacted love holidays 22times had to take them to small claims court to obtain refund they are useless
