I have booked a trip to Mexico to a hotel in Playa del Carmen and decided to change it to go to Cancun instead to a hotel that it was actually cheaper than the initial one. After emailing them I want to change they come up with a difference in price of £730 even though on the LIVE WEBSITE the hotel is actually cheaper than the initial one.. they advise I need to pay a £25 amendment fee which I am happy to pay but where is the other 730 pounds coming from?? A total ripoff!!! Also when I booked the holiday they “couldn’t confirm my flight” and then emailed they could after one day but I need to pay an extra £200 as it’s now more expensive…. I have called them and they reduced the price from £730 to £450 as extra to pay but don’t understand where they they get this as I should only pay £25 amendment fee or not even that as the first hotel was more expensive than the other one. Ridiculous, don’t recommend at all!!!! Customer service is terrible and they take their time to reply only to come later and say “price has increased”.

Absolutely terrible company! Quick to take the money but don’t refund us when they change the hotel to a s*** hotel in the middle of nowhere because “hotel wasn’t confirmed” waste of money do not bother with them so unreliable.

Scam!! I have just found out the hotel were staying at kids stay for free. So why did my 5 year old cost the same price as me, they even had the cheek to add the option for all inclusive for him when again kids eat free. Honestly, it’s best to look around, use the platform for hotel name etc and go to the hotel directly.

I booked a holiday with love holidays to fly out in June 2024 to go to a wedding. After reviewing my conformation the year had changed to 2025. I have rang them around 25 times only to be cut off again and again, after finally speaking to someone the response was: its your fault for putting in wrong year. I said I would not scroll through 14 months to 2025 so must be a error on their side. Then to be told I had to pay 521 for hotel and I had to ring the airline to change the year which I did and that was another 450 pounds. I was under the impression it was a package holiday and this is why I chose it so I didn't have to go through airlines. So it would cost me 950 pounds to change a holiday that's 13 months away. And to cancel the holiday was 1450. What a joke!! Please do not book with this company. Customer service is shocking! Once they have your money that's it!!! They do nothing to help at all just keep throwing added expense at you.

I booked an hoiiday with love hoildays and i was placed in a Hotel in Gambia called Badala Park, you should never put people in this Hotel, its not up to basic standards the shower floor was so slippy that i fell at one point, the breakfast was absolutely appalling, this Hotel is basically a dump and need renovating, this Hotel is an accident waiting to happen, my friends who i went with had move rooms on several occasions, i believe that someone needs to go and look at this hotel before placing people in there, all the reviews for this Hotel are all negative, am so dissapointed and that is was over priced, my holiday was ruined because of this .

Easy and quick to book. Kept me updated from booking to holiday. The issue is ~ 2 adults/3 kids _ 5 in total. Got to the hotel and they had us in the smallest room with a travel cot for my child who turns 3 in 4 days. The hotel had me down as 2 adults/2 kids and a baby. The travel cot had a hard base so we weren’t even able to just live with it. When I asked for a family room like I booked and paid for I had to pay another £120 at reception and that was the hotel giving me an offer!!! I’m on with someone at love holiday now finding out what happened with my booking and who is refunding the 120 but all their response is they can give me more bedding for her travel cot! Absolute joke! Won’t be using them again which is disappointing as we were already planning on an easter break next year with them!! I called love holidays and a robot called Harsh kept repeating he apologises for any issue caused but it’s not their issue Was contacted by several people from their media team who told me to go to reception and they would resolve it. Went to reception and they had no idea what I was on about. LOVE holiday is a scam. Not helpful and once you’ve paid them they don’t care about their Customers. So disappointing as initially they were fantastic! 2 more holidays to book this year and they will both be with Disney directly. Don’t use B&B hotels or love holidays.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I booked a holiday to fly from Glasgow and the confirmation came through as Gatwick. Called as soon as they opened to figure it out, they didn't care and told me I would have to pay the flight difference. I then cancelled the whole booking, verbally agreed and was told the refund would come through in 3 days. I had to contact the airline directly to cancel the flight and confirm their refund because Loveholidays would have kept the money for themselves. I e-mailed them on 7 occasions confirming to cancel the booking and the day before the planned departure I was told the booking is still active and that I won't be able to get any refund (£1,400). Avoid like the plague. This company is an absolute scam. They still have the refunded amount from the airline, and haven't processed any refund. The sheer incompetence of this company is mind blowing. I am disputing with my credit card and will be filing a complaint to the ombudsman / civil aviation authority about this. AVOID Loveholidays!!

Absolutely horrified with the service and the absolute robbery of loveholidays. I requested to change dates of my holiday. First of all I was told I have to contact the airline separately, from what loveholidays advertise it should be a package holiday, which is why I booked as I prefer to do a package so I don’t have to contact airline separate. I think it’s extremely unacceptable that I am being told my holiday is an extra £585 and then £300 for flight to change to change exactly 2 weeks after original date. My flight is exactly the same flight as it was just 2 weeks after and my hotel is the same but 2 weeks after. I have looked on Loveholidays and I can find the exact same holiday for the same price I was originally paying for it. I was paying just over £900 for my holiday so paying an extra £800 to change dates is just absolute daylight robbery. I have received no breakdown whatsoever for the extra costs, there is simply no answer as to why they have added an extra £585 onto the booking. Then to be told I have 48 hours to respond or my amendment request will be cancelled. How am I supposed to pay the price of a whole new holiday or nearly my holiday price to cancel? I totally understand having to pay more to change dates however I’m paying an outrageous amount, basically paying for another holiday for the change of 2 weeks later. I am then told I can cancel for £521? I understand a cancellation fee too however I shouldn’t be charged so much to change dates to begin with.I am being robbed either way and I am extremely unhappy and will not be paying any of these fees or using love holidays again.

Think twice before booking! You might think you found yourself a good deal however, as soon as something goes wrong they will reimburse all the extra cost to you so end up paying £500 than originally thought! Me and my partner had absolutely shocking experience. We booked our holiday early in November for a reasonable price. However, the flight got cancelled shortly before departure and they are asking us to pay £560+ extra for an alternative flight! We were given only one alternative flight despite of many available for different days. The staff is really unfriendly and unhelpful. They asked me to check Skyscanner myself and didn't bother to give me any flights for the days I asked. They take absolutely ages to reply and throughout this time prices go up and you end up paying even more! It was a matter of urgency to ensure prices won't go up any further and they're taking 2 working days to even bother replying. Their lines are paid and with massive queues so calling them was not an option unless you want to waste an hour waiting and pay £50+ phone bill. On live chat they could not make these changes to the booking. The price quoted for all the changes made was more expensive than on their website so it would be cheaper to cancel and rebook with them as they probably charging an administration fee for changes to your booking although you didn't ask for any! Not even a small discount offered for the inconvenience and ruining our holiday. Please save yourself all the stress and avoid. Sometimes it's better to book more expensive holiday but a reliable one with travel agents taking care of you if something goes wrong. At this point I travelled with most of the major providers and honestly never had such a bad experience. All potential issues were always quickly resolved and no cost added. Sadly it's not the case with loveholidays. I'll never use loveholidays ever again and I'll strongly discourage all my friends and relatives by sharing this horrible experience. After reading some of the reviews you can realise that flight changes shortly before departure and charging customers shocking amount of money is a very common issue so think twice before booking. I never came across people who care less about their job than them... My perfect holidays got cancelled in the end.

We are 10 people travelling to Tunisia in May one passenger couldn't travel as he is admitted in hospital and would not be fit to fly for 8weeks as a result we found a replacement to take his place but love holidays making things so difficult to make the changes they need to speak to lead passenger who is in hospital and they want to speak to person who is willing to take his place and pay for it its just question of change of names on hotel part and charge for a flight as it is not refunded a simple change can not be done unless they speak to 2 people when I booked for 10 people they never asked to speak to them all paperwork is sent to my email all amount is charged on my card but when it comes to do any changes they want to speak to lead passenger I never had problem before with other travel Co when it comes to take money they are fine but when it comes to make changes they make things difficult last time I book with them there's no way where you can complain about them

My Sister and myself booked a three night package holiday to Nerja through Love Holidays which included a hotel, flights from Manchester to Malaga airport and a shuttle transfer from the airport to our hotel. Our inbound Ryanair flight was delayed by an hour and when we got to Malaga airport there were massive queues to get through passport control. It took us an hour and a half to get through and when we got outside the terminal our transfer had left without us. We rang the transfer company and was cut off after 4 minutes so we went back into the terminal building to see if there was anyone who could help us. There was no one around so we called the transfer company again and this time a nice lady answered and said she would ring through to someone, which she did, and advised us that the driver would come back for us. She said that he was 5-10 minutes away and to wait where we were and someone would come for us. We waited for 15 minutes and nobody came so we called again and spoke to a horrible man who's said they wouldn't come back for us, the lady we had spoken to was lying and we would have to get a taxi and put a complaint in to Love Holidays. I explained that we are two middle aged ladies travelling on our own and we had no money to get a taxi. I asked him could he not ring through like the lady had and ask the driver to come back for us but he refused. He kept saying that they won't come back for us. By this time we were starting to panic. It was now 11:30 at night and we knew we were about an hour away from our hotel. We had various men approaching us staying that they would give us a lift. We decided to leave it a few minutes and call again hoping to get through to someone else more helpful, or maybe the lady we had spoken to originally, but unfortunately the same horrible man answered the phone. We asked again could he not ring the driver but he said he would not come back for us. He repeated that the first lady we had spoken to was lying and just saying what we wanted to hear. He said this is what this company is like and that we would have to get a taxi and put a complaint in. I again explained that we had no money to get a taxi and could he not order us one but he said no we would have to do it ourselves. I put the phone down in disgust at his attitude. I couldn't believe that they had just left us there at the airport stranded and didn't care less. We had paid for a service that they had failed to provide. We were really upset and distressed by this point. We thought the safest way to get to our hotel would be by Uber as the journey was tracked and also as we had no euros we could pay online and we would have a receipt to submit with our complaint to Love Holidays. So, my sister had to work out how to download and work the Uber App which is something she hadn't done before and this caused us further stress and worry. By the time we got to our hotel we were exhausted and kept going over what had just happened to us. We couldn't sleep that night so were tired the next day and this ruined the first day of our break, bearing in mind we were only there for three nights. When we got home my sister (as she was the lead passenger) submitted a complaint to Love Holidays for a refund of our taxi fare, as we were advised to do by the transfer company. Love Holidays replied but didn't want to know. They told us to contact Ryanair as it was them that had caused the delay or claim through our travel insurance. As far as I'm concerned we have paid our money to Love Holidays and they are who we have our contract with so they should be dealing with the refund and not just fobbing us off. I am also disgusted that they would have dealings with a transfer company who had no regard for their customers welfare. Flights are delayed all the time so do they just expect all passengers to arrange their own transport if they find themselves in this situation when they have already paid for a service. I have Googled the transfer company MTS globe.com and they have a string of unhappy 1 star reviews on Trustpilot so why are Love Holidays using them! I have replied to Love Holidays requesting that they refund our taxi fare and claim the refund off Ryanair themselves but they refuse to deal with us. Well Love Holidays, I have booked holidays with you many times in the past with no problems but no more!! This has really put me off and I, nor any of my family and friends who I have told about my experience, will ever book with you again and I will tell everyone else I know as well. So, for the sake of a refund of a £54 taxi fare you have potentially lost thousands of pounds in holiday bookings!!!

Shocking customer experience. Four of us paid for a hotel with half board, we added another passenger at a later date and they downgraded us all to hotel only without any warning or refund. Just sent us a new confirmation with room only on it!!! 32 emails and 2 phone calls later and no help or refund whatsoever!!

Love holidays I hope this reaches you and might be able to speed up the process I am in at present. I have booked a holiday to Nashville with yourselves, and my partners surname was 2 characters wrong so was a spelling mistake, I have been in conversation with the amendment team for 10 days now and have paid £420 to change the name after spending £2,500 on the holiday. When I have gone onto the new flight reference the name is still wrong!?. I fly exactly 13 days from now and literally can’t be excited for it because I am so stressed out. This holiday was booked for my partners birthday and we both are so scared that it will not be changed in time. I spoke to someone on the phone yesterday that advised that ‘it should’ be sorted by the time we fly, and you can imagine that is worrying to hear. I have asked the amendment team to call me on multiple occasions to just explain my frustration and explain what is going on but have had nothing back. If this reaches someone, please could they call me I have been under so much stress I haven’t been eating properly and this holiday issue is the only thing on my mind. Please give me a phone call this has been going on for 10 days now and I fly in 13!!!

Booked a few weeks ago and our holiday isn't for a coupleof months yet. When filling out the details on their site I used my wifes married name, forgetting that her passport still has her maiden name. The flight carries they use won't fix her name and have said I have to book a new flight for this new person!! Love holidays aren't interested at all. If I try cancel the holiday, I don't just loose my £80 deposit but I have to pay them over £650! Holiday is mnonths away but I'm already regretting booking with love holidays.

Please do not book a holiday with loveholidays. I made a booking for 2 rooms at the Ixian Grand, Rhodes. This trip was in excess of £4,000. The room description was ‘deluxe double or twin room with balcony/terrace and garden view’. After booking, I contacted the hotel to ask for 1x double room and 1x twin room. The hotel informed me that no room at the hotel had the ability to be a twin and referred me back to loveholiday to make a complaint. I initially spoke to a representative on the chat tool who was incredibly dismissive and terminated the chat while I was still asking for support (along with multiple other issues I could complain about). I opened a chat with a new representative who ultimately explained that this is the fault of the hotels, and they were unable to provide any help to rectify this error. After a lot of back and forth, I asked how I should make a more formal complaint, to which I was told they do not have a complaints team. Go to the hotel directly to be sure of what you are paying for.

Absolutely disgusting company first time we used them and definitely the last. All we want is to remove somone from our booking. They keep trying to change the room type, we want to simply keep the same room but have one less passenger. Not only that if we remove the passenger we will not get flight, insurance or transfer money back, absolute con artists. Realise now it will cost them money if we wear to keep the room we booked. Avoid at all costs.
