My eBay purchase would not be delivered to designated pick-up location - it's was simply too big. They said a "specialist courier will TRY to deliver within 48 hours" haven't heard from them since. Just to clarify - parcel contains a small brush and a bottle of 50ml vinyl record cleaning liquid 😂

For the second time in two weeks, Hermes have managed to not deliver a parcel. They have my address and phone number, yet somehow they are unable to deliver. I get plenty of deliveries from other companies, Royal Mail, Deliveroo...only Hermes ever struggle delivering. It's getting beyond ridiculous at this point - and they absolutely can't be bothered to even pretend to care. Call them? They don't pick up. Email them? IF they respond, it'll be a week later, with a non-answer like 'sorry, it was an error'. Try their website? Their 'chat' is just a bot that mostly points you round in circles. I can't believe a company that so brazenly doesn't care is still in business, after thousands of people complaining about it publicly. The mind boggles. Why does anyone use these people in 2021?

Hermes delivered a 2.5 ltr can of paint which was damaged in transit, and when the package was opened, the paint ran out destroying a table cover. I contacted Hermes, sent 'photos of the damage and delivery label, and requested to be reimbursed for the cost of replacement tablecloth, an invoice was enclosed. The interesting thing is that paint is one of the many items banned by Hermes and yet they accepted it for delivery. They have refused to accept responsibility for causing the damage I did not receive this parcel from the driver, who left it outside my front door, but did not leave a note in my letter box. Had I been able to inspect the parcel I would have seen the damage and refused the delivery. So in summation, Hermes delivered an item which was banned by them, damaged it during transit, and then refused to pay any compensation. No much else one can say ! Graham Sanders

Didn't ring my buzzer (I was in waiting for the parcel), driver instead decided to knock next door. Luckily she was in and then kindly delivered the parcel to me.

I tracked my parcel which they said they had delivered at 14.31. I arrived home at 14.44, it was not there, no card, no picture of my door, nothing. Rang the suppliers who spoke to Hermes, surprisingly it had been outsourced but the driver said he had delivered it, but didn’t take a picture to prove it! Absolutely appalling service don’t bother using them, this driver was a liar. I would add a photo is I could but it would only be if my front door without a parcel!!

Six parcels lost with Hermes 5 boxes of tiles over £100 each from different tile shops across the uk and lastly a smashed iPhone 12 Pro Max that sold for £500 on eBay I used Hermes again and all I got was the chance to claim £20 refund. The worst courier service in the world. NEVER EVER AGAIN !! I thought I’d give them the benefit of doubt as the five boxes of tiles that were list was a couple of years ago and I should of learnt my lesson but no I didn’t. You’ve lost my business with no replies and terrible communication to help. Goodbye and good riddance

My parcel’s tracking said it would be delivered “today” that was four days ago. Hermes customer service chat is abysmal, you’re not talking to real person so a computer merely regurgitates utterly useless answers. They asked for my email address and told me someone would be in touch soon, that was 5 days ago. I tried to call them and was on hold for over an hour. Avoid Hermes!

Useless automated systems, no facility to contact (a human) by phone and I suspect that theft is rife within this organization.

I have not received that parcel that they supposedly delivered yesterday. The retailer believes the parcel was delivered but cannot confirm this. Hermes can only be contacted if you have their tracking number or calling card number which is both missing. They are ignoring all messages on Social media and not responding to emails.

Parcel with all my family’s Christmas presents was never delivered. Finally spoke to Hermes employee who said it was most unlikely ever to turn up and will most probably been stolen at the depot. What an appalling company. No apology. So far no communication since submitting claim form with all receipts totalling over £300. The distress caused has been immense. Do not use if you want to be sure that your parcel will be delivered safely. They should be banned from trading.

Hermes was used to deliver a package that i ordered from Thompson and Morgan. Hermes advised me that my package would be delivered between 09.00-13.00. At 13.49 they emailed to say it had been delivered and left in the Porch. Alas we don't have a porch and nothing had been delivered. I rang the number on Hermes website and got a robotic female. After a few minutes stating order no etc i was told my package had been delivered at 13.49 - end of. Hermes does not have a process that deals with non delivery. I managed to send some sort of email chat saying that i had not received my package and in my opinion it was likely that it had been delivered to the wrong address. Next day i got an email saying they had spoken to the driver who claimed he handed it to someone at the correct address. Later that morning someone in the next street rang the doorbell and asked if i was expecting a package from Thompson and Morgan. I suspect Hermes is on some service contract with suppliers whereby they don't get paid unless they deliver within certain parameters - 95-98%, because they lied about delivering to my address. I reported Hermes to Thompson and Morgan and told them whomever was procuring services from Hermes was not doing a good job.

I cannot for the life of me understand how on earth there are so many positive reviews about myhermes on here... I am not faulting my own local courier (even if they do not give out any contact details). Maybe I'm jinxed, but 99 times out of 100, when I try to use myhermes to deliver items I sell, it never reaches the customer. How they manage to hold a company like this together is beyond me. They are almost impossible to get through to- live chat rarely works, and phoning them rarely gets you through to a human being (the automated voices they use are ghastly - no company who is genuinely interested in customer service does that). You can easily be on hold for at least half an hour, and much longer if you've got plenty of free time. They are experts at damaging parcels, even the ones you make sure aren't capable of being damaged (but you never get to see them when this happens, so how do you know if it's true or not?). My latest fiasco (I fall into the pit of, I'll give myhermes one more chance, much too often) - I have/had a customer waiting for a delivery for over 10 days, & I could not get through to myhermes to find out what was going on (they NEVER contact you themselves). This morning I actually got through to a human being, who wasn't exactly the best example of customer service, but at least it was a person. I asked why it looked as if they were returning my parcel to me instead of delivering to customer, & I was told it was because it went to the wrong hub. I said, why on earth couldn't it be sent on, instead of returning it to me, and why could they not have contacted me if they didn't know what to do?? The chap said, unfortunately there was nothing he could do about it... I said I wasn't blaming him, it's the WHOLE JOLLY COMPANY. And you never receive a penny of compensation/refunds, unless you have nothing else to do but fight for it for the rest of your life. Cannot believe how a so called UK company can operate like this, I have had countless parcels go 'missing' over the last couple of years - they may be cheap (IF something ever actually gets delivered, that is) but they're certainly not cheerful. Won't be taking the risk again 🙄🙄🙄

I honestly think there are 2 options. either they are new employees and thieves permanently, or it is a scam. The strange thing is that I had problems with "my hermes" ( my packages never arrived last year ), but this year they came on time. I don't know what's going on but it's extremely odd. It should disband and change this name, becoming serious about hiring people. In other shipping's companies, I never had a problem. Doesn't anyone really investigate what is happening with this company? I'm thinking of making a complaint in court.

This company is one big joke. You have guarantee that your parcel will get back to sender or will be lost with no chance to get money back from sender (Obviously cause they will mark it as delivered and take photo of random doors not even close to your area). Pathetic...
