“The company seems to be a scam, unable to get anyone to speak to, no working phone line. I ordered and paid on your website for a parcel delivery service a week ago. A courier turned up 2 days later and informed me that the parcel will not fit in their van and she will arrange for a 'light and large' collection i'e someone with a bigger van. I have given the weight and the dimensions of the parcel when I was booking it online so they had this information prior to sending a small, unsuitable van. Despite the courier's promise to arrange a larger van, no one came to pick it up. I have tried calling the number for customer service - the number seems to be 'down for maintenance', another number wants to charge me £6.00 for connecting, another one of listed numbers has been disconnected, digital assistant is automated and keeps referring to the beginning of script because it's not working. 5 days later I somehow managed to get through to my local depot, a customer rep called Nasira did not know why my parcel had not been picked up and promised to email and phone me when she arranges a pick up. It has been another 3 days since she said she will sort it out and yet, my parcel has not been picked up and I have no idea when it will be picked up. I have tried the local depot phone number again but it is now saying it's 'down for maintenance'.”

“I have been using MyHermes for over 5 years now but sadly that will come to an end. I sold a £450 Lenovo laptop through eBay, only for the contents to be missing from the parcel. They refunded me £25 in compensation after a month because their insurance would have covered loss/damage however i have said theft & loss is completely different. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY for valuable items. I will never use them again and their reputation has dropped tremendously by everyone i know.”

“No option to give zero stars. Hermes lost / stole my parcel. Took over 1 week to return any communication. Do not use. Even an employee admitted there are too many light fingered Staff at my local depot.”

“Supposed to get delivery on 15th August 2020 time slot 11am to 1pm I stayed off work and waiting for the delivery but got a message saying couldn't get a answer the day before they left a card and with nothing on it trying to get in contact with company good luck no chance there's 12 flats not even tried to leave with customer”

“Have used in the past with no issues. Sent a parcel containing a set of forgotten keys paid for next day delivery tracking says delayed will be updated in 24 hrs on week later have given up with trying to call and Holly. Will be reporting the keys as stolen to the police fortunately I did not send them to the house where the keys work or I would now have the cost of changing the locks.”

“For the last 6 years, they are continually lying and thieving the products. 2016 I watched the driver get out the car with only a "missed delivery" card, without attempting the delivery after the 3rd day of not even trying to buzz the door, it was only from myself shouting at them to get the parcel that I received it. Today, 14th August 2020, I sat and waited at my office desk, knowing what Hermes are like, they were already 15 minutes passed the window, but at 8:14, they claimed they delivered my package, not one person came to the door, but a screenshot of the GPS apparently exonerates the driver of any wrong doing. They never left the car, I've had 4 deliveries tonight, and only Hermes would consider recruiting liars and potentially parcel thieves. I strongly ask anyone here to please find any other delivery supplier, as Hermes will only reflect badly on yourselves.”

“Sorry there aren't negative stars. They keep leaving parcels in full view of the street, although there is both a recycling box 6 feet down the patio AND there is a hidden side to the porch. Avoid them, and avoid any company that uses them.”

“Dishonest company, never ever use them again. £85.00 of goods from Wilko, advised they had returned to sender, lies !! Found Wilko branded ite items for sale on ebay, obviously stolen.”

“Paid to deliver a parcel on 10th and was supposed to collect on the 11th. 11th and 12th two automatic updates were on site and no updates since then. Tried calling the customer support from 11th and always the message says phone line are down for maintenance.”

“Amazon collection was told they had tried to deliver 4 times on each occasion my cctv said different. Total lies and fabrication, just amazed Amazon believe them. How this company survives with this abomination of service and frustrated customers is unbelievable. Finally I cannot understand how Amazon do not get rid of this liability considering the impact to their business, I alone have purchased over £300's worth of business recently to avoid Hermes!!”

“Paid for home collection waited in 2 days not collected. Still waiting! My previous experience I sent a parcel it was tracked to recipients local depot where Hermes admitted they’d lost it! They wouldn’t refund as it was toiletries. They late found it about a month after it should have been delivered in a depot miles away, how can it be tracked to a local depot when its not there?”

“I had an email saying delivery was attempted. It wasn’t as I was in and waiting for it. No calling card, because they haven’t been anywhere near here! Lies. Also said it couldn’t be left as no safe place - lies again as there is a safe place but as they never came here they couldn’t see that. All lies If I could give them zero I would Website only give access to computerised ‘chat’. Useless”

“My parcel was with Hermes on Monday 10 August due for delivery Tuesday 11 August but it’s still not with me! Yet Hermes courier delivered 2 other parcels from a seperate retailer I ordered AFTER the one I’m STILL WAITING FOR!! Why didn’t they bring the other one as well? Last update was at 22:59 yesterday saying there’s been a delay we’ll have your parcel on the move again within 24 hours! Ha ha ha have they heck And I can’t speak to anyone as there lines are down for ‘maintenance’ This is disgraceful I will NEVER order from a company who uses HERMES again it simply isn’t worth the stress”

“I buy a lot of items through eBay and because a lot of the suppliers use Hermes I’ve had to shop elsewhere. Probably without exaggerating 6 out of 10 parcels don’t get delivered. All have tracking numbers and when checked it just says we have received your item and it never updates from there. So frustrating eBay having to return my money all the time. From now on if I see any item online with the delivery Hermes I’ll just leave it and shop somewhere else”
