HERMES ARE WORST COMPANY EVER,I HAVE NEVER HAD PARCEL DELIVERED ON TIME,WHAT IS EVEN WORSE THEY'RE SAY COULDN'T DELIVER BECAUSE I WAS NOT IN I AM ALWAYS IN IT'S EXTREMELY ANNOYING SITTING WAITING FORWARD PARCEL ONLY GO GET EMAIL SAYING YOU ARE NOT AT HOME.IN FUTURE I WILL CHECK,IF HERMES DELIVER I WONT BUY IT.

Hermes is a company designed to prevent customer contact and complaints!! Got hermes notification as delivered sucurely. There is no sign of my parcel. Eventually managed to view a photo of my parcel on a doorstep. It is not even my doorstep. There is no door or house number available. I did nominate a safe place, which they didn't bother with. I tried to contact hermes but can't get past the robot operator who eventually cuts you off. I visited their website and went round in circles with their vertual assistant. The complaints line is £6 per call + fees. So, I don't have my parcel, can't complain unless I pay £6. Can't speak to anyone. They are the worst type of company!! No live chat, no email, no operators to speak to.

Hermes THEFT!! parcel number: 1591982246151989 This item was lost whilst within Hermes system (Hermes agree) as I sent it by postage option, it did not have loss protection. When I asked for a refund of the £2.46 postal charge they disagreed. I CALL THAT THEFT!

Didn't turn up on first time second delivery 6 and 8pm on the next night got a email say couldn't find the correct address and more details of address which is on a main road facing a hight school what happened to sat nav 🤔🤔😡🤬

My Hermes tracking said "The shipments will be handed over to our partner for international shipping." almost everyday for about a week and since then there have been no new notifications for a week. I sent them an email a week ago, but no answer.

Shocking service. Yet again no delivered to my house, even though there is a big sign outside stating the name of the house. Customer service is very poor, you can’t actually speak to a person, all computerised and just tell you that the parcel has been delivered, that’s great but it’s not been delivered to me. Not once have I ever known them to knock on the door. Disgraceful service.

If I could give Zero 🌟 I would because 1 🌟 is being to kind. In December 2020 I took my parcel to local Hermes agent/shop and to this day 15/04/2021 they have still not managed to deliver it and its only going from Kent to London (about 30miles) but if you try to complain it will not be to a human, it is automated and it will only talk to you if you give it the shipping number which in this case was incorrect because their was a clitch in their system that said it was an international parcel and I must ring Paris! I went to shop I sent it from and they said can't help but fave me their agent number but they said are not allied to talk to me as I don't own the shop and they directed me to automated service and we went all through it again with no better outcome. Resolver managed to get them to reply with a page I can claim my money back but when you click on link to claim it says "this page no longer exists" so I complained again through resolver a further 4 times but Hermes will not respond so out of pocket with no way to get a resolution. Left with no alternative but to leave this review - Keep well away from Hermes if you want to keep you sanity as the whole process was infuriating and a total waste of time -SHOULD BE CALLED PARCEL DISPOSAL SERVICE!

they 'lost' an expensive item i trusted them to deliver. customer service is virtually non existent and contacting their head office is via a premium number at a high minuet price. their tracking system is a lie as no one takes responsibility for your item along the way and if they feel like it the goods will just 'disappear' without any consequences to them then offer a fraction of the cost in compensation. do not trust this company to deliver you goods, please use another service or you will regret it.

Worst company ever I paid for next day delivery and took the day of work, and yes you guessed it my parcel didn't arrive, you can't speak to anyone in person this company shouldn't be allowed to trade my parcel is stuck in the local depot where ever that maybe all day, keep well away from this company, why don't they want to talk to anyone in person because they are useless!!!!!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS Terrible delivery service, no customer service at all - you cannot speak to a person and the online complaints procedures just take you around in circles. I sent a parcel containing a coat value £40, the recipient was in all day for all of three days in a row that Hermes claimed to have attempted a delivery. No calls, no notes left to prove that delivery attempts had actually been made Tracking ended so no chance of finding out online just where it was and no-one to talk to ! After sending several emails they then claimed to have lost the parcel and almost a month later it was returned to me with rips and tears in the bag. I had to put it in a new mailing bag and then re-sent it with Royal Mail which was actually only 70p dearer than Hermes. How I wish I had gone with ROYAL MAIL in the first place and not wasted £6.10 on Hermes rubbish delivery service.

Why are traders still using Hermes. By doing so I cannot understand why we as customers are not valued. We readily pay for items, but are being subjected to a appalling delivery service. My own experience is one of lies,being not in when I was, I live in a retirement complex with a push button entry system, and can prove they are lieing, next told a new delivery slot on the next working day, that was 6 days ago, involved Tower, where I bought the product from, they as yet been able to get a response. I fully endorse all the bad reviews concerning Hermes, have now asked to cancel my order and have a refund, been told that Hermes have been contacted by Tower and have the right to reply. I find this totally unacceptable, there seem to be more tolerance to Hermes than me their customer. Finally I would ask all who read these reviews, please take my advice, if they use Hermes, AVOID. Told me today tried to deliver today but no one at home which was a lie as was sitting by my window at time said and would have seen them. They also lied tried to del yesterday but no one at home but I was.

Don’t touch. They are useless and incompetent and unreliable. Given couple of del dates no show and told tonight between 1700 and 1900 and yet again no show. Waiting on another parcel told be 2000 last night. No show. Told now be 2000 tonight. No show. It’s worth the extra to use DPD and Royal Mail Courier who were excellent. Don’t know how they in business. I would given minus stars as 1 far to generous. .

I had to press 1 star otherwise I couldn't review. Otherwise they would have got 0. If I had a choice Hermes would definitely not be it. The numbtie of a courier left an obviously broken into parcel in a very vulnerable location. Consequently I list a valuable tool somewhere between Wiggle and my home. He could have left it with a neighbour and left a card. Have you ever tried to contact this bunch if useless numb heads? It's easier to infiltrate the KGB. Avoid them like the plague if you can.

Shocking, SHOCKING, customer service. You cannot speak to a human and it is very difficult to get any contact with Hermes. DO NOT USE THEM FOR INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY!!!!? I sent a package to Sweden for an exchange. It was sent to the wrong sorting office, then given to DPD!!!! Why? It then got stuck in Holland!!! Why? (It was going to Sweden from UK!!!!) After approx 3wks, all the time I cannot get in touch with Hermes....no humans, I find out it’s with DPD. I contact DPD....(they have humans) and they tell me there is a problem with documentation from Hermes. Eventually the package is ‘dumped’ back at my door a month later with no explanation. I contacted Hermes on-line and they still could not tell me why the package had been returned .....totally, totally useless service.

Hermes have now lost my wedding dress, 3 weeks before I get married. Their response, they can appreciate it's frustrating but the sender has to claim a refund then will refund me which will take approx 28 days! My wedding is in 3 weeks and I am now left out of pocket, with no dress, so having to rush around trying to find another dress at this late a stage. The sender contacted them and was told by Hermes that they had found the wedding dress but that she had underpaid postage so they charged her over £5! Sender is fuming as she had posted from a Hermes shop and they told her what she had to pay for postage so doesnt get why it is underpaid. The next day, Hermes contact the sender again and say actually we dont know where the dress is it is lost in transit - even though tracking says it was passed to the local courier??? Why have they charged for underpaid postage if the item is lost?????? This just doesnt make any sense whatsoever. You cant ring Hermes to speak to anyone as it asks your tracking number then tells you they have your parcel and cuts you off. If you email you get a response days later which is completely unapologetic. They havent offered any recompense just told me their contract is with the sender not the recipient. As you will see from previous reviews I have now had a long list of items lost by Hermes. I dont even think they look for them just issue their standard scripted response of the sender needs to submit a claim for the lost item. Requested contact details for complaints department to escalate and no response- surprise surprise. THANKS HERMES FOR RUINING MY WEDDING BY LOSING MY DRESS - YOU ARE USELESS

On Sunday 11th they sent me a text stating that they missed the delivery on Monday 12th? No number and no ways tracking and they don't have a customer service. No humans seem to work in this company so you can't check what happened. I have a workshop tomorrow and will miss to take part in this amazing opportunity due to this mediocre company. Can't stand them and wish I would never had to deal with them again. Completely dehumanised service.

10 am delivery driver sent a message at 9 15am saying he. had failed to deliver parcel nobody rang our doorbell today! We now have to pay for a redelivery when no-one from Hermes has called here

I just wanted to say that our Hermes driver is amazing. All my friends and family who she delivers too say the same. Her name is Carolyn and my postcode is NE39 2AN. She always delivers on time and we've never had any issues at all. I'm a department manager for another courier company and believe praise where praise is due. Paid to have 2 parcels collected on Tuesday it's now Sunday and I'm still waiting. My husband waited in all day on Tuesday and we never heard from them. Tried calling and you can only get through with a tracking number which for some reason doesnt work. Found their email through PayPal (nowhere on their website is there any way of contacting them without a tracking number) emailed on Thursday still waiting for a reply.
