“Dreadful. No goods received. No way to contact them, the excel 'holly' link, stated they would get back to me in 24 hours, still waiting... Meanwhile I can't get my money from eBay as I bought as a guest as they want an email from Hermes confirming that Hermes have investigated . Please do not use Hermes . I've probably lost my £94. Scammers seem to know how to exploit Hermes. Hermes you need to do a better more secure and reliable service.”

“I have had 2 parcels go missing through Hermes in the past few weeks, one from Cult Beauty and one from Zara, both containing over £100 worth of goods. They just got to the depot then never got any further. Terrible. They must have thieves working for them of just be totally incompetent.”

“Absolutely shocking how bad Hermes is. The past 3 years I have had the extremely unlucky encounter with their services. All 3 times I received an email saying that the driver missed my delivery although I’ve been home waiting for it. All 3 times it proves impossible to speak to someone. Do your self a favour and don’t use Hermes”

“Still trying to get hold of somebody from Hermes, it's impossible to contact anyone to sort out my failed deliveries. Our road is being dug up and access is possible from one end of the road, but the driver has made no attempt to get here and I'm now waiting for 3 parcels. We have had deliveries from Parcelforce and Royal Mail, and a DPD courier walked up from the closed end of the road with a 15kg parcel! We'd happily meet the driver at the end of the road but it's impossible to speak to anyone at Hermes and our emails are being ignored. These small packages will probably end up being returned to senders, and give us the problem of wasting hours of our time trying to get refunds or re-delivery. We run our own online business and have never found a courier as bad as this. We'd never trust Hermes with our deliveries.”

“Another victim of Hermes,parcel should have come yesterday between 12-2pm. Waited all day . Today says been delivered at 9-25 and signed for. Lies I was in ,no delivery oh by the way my house is fully camered NO DELIVERY was made. Me thinks someone lying thieves the lot of them. I wish I had seen these reviews before hand. Run like the wind honest people.once again we have bend over and be shafted again. Can't even get any joy over the company who I bought of ( YOURS ) clothes.”

“Sent a parcel with hermes and paid for extra compensation. Driver left parcel on doorstep and parcel went missing! No signature even though one was required. Tried to make a claim and almost impossible to get hold of an actual person. Once I made the claim it was rejected as the item was prohibited. Face cream prohibited!!! Checked out their prohibited list and non compensation items and seems it's impossible to send anything with them that is allowed or you can claim for if the driver is neglectful with your package!!!”

“Well, this site says it all. This rating of 1.22 is definitely not low enough for the "service" they provide. They are totally useless, losing or damaging parcels left, right and centre. I will never be using hermes ever again and hope more people will avoid them going forward. Awful company!”

“This is my second terrible experience with Hermes in the last month. My parcel has not arrived despite receiving an email to say that it has been delivered at a specific time. There isn't a card through the door and it has not been left with neighbours. This happened to me in June with something else and the parcel finally arrived about 3 weeks later. This time I paid additional to get a next day delivery for an emergency pair of football boots for my son and we are really annoyed that they haven't arrived. Really appalling service and further highlighted by the other dreadful reviews on here. If you are going to provide a service then do it properly”

“Managed to lose a tyre at the first stage of delivery. Got to wait up to 28 days for a solution. This is after going through a pathetic excuse of a customer response AI. Leaving the person whom purchased the tyre waiting for a response.”

“Don't use. Your parcel is likely to go missing. I'm serious they have lost a few of mine. Also had one delivered damaged and missing some of the contents, had to refund my customer now out of pocket. Hermes not at all helpful.”

“Delivered a guitar which was packed in a hard case then bubble wrapped then packed in cardboard marked fragile all over and still they smashed it and disputed any responsibility or refund, absolutly disgusting, I'll never ever use them again!!!!”

“Anyone of you has a phone number that I can call to speak to a person from Hermes? I'm waiting for a parcel from sports direct for 2 weeks now. I contacted sports direct and they said the parcel was picked up by Hermes and that I should contact them for any delivery queries! Can't get a hold of them on the phone! The automated help answering the phone is rubbish! Don't recommend using Hermes they have rubbish customer service!”

“Hermes said they tried to deliver my parcel but that I was not in, I was in the house all day working from home with windows & doors open as was stuffy day. This is not the first time Hermes has lied about deliveries. You can’t speak to anyone phone number ask for tracking number tells you that you have a problem with your delivery & to contact the retailer who were helpful but have to email a Hermes expect an answer in 24 hours and the online assistant is just as useless round & round in circles, dreadful customer services very bad no telephone number to speak to a person”

“Appalling service, I missed my delivery day so they said they would redeliver the next working day. 4 days later no notifications no redelivery as I waited in only to get a notification out of the blue that it was being returned back to the sender for no reason. No help from driver no help from customer service!!!”
